KKM technique and its applications

In this paper,the Knaster-Karatowski-Mazurkiewicz technique(KKM technique,in short)is presented.By using this technique a new alternative theorem and a new coincidence theorem are established.The results obtained in this paper unify and generalize the corresponding results in the recent works.

Positive solutions of three-point boundary value problems

In this paper, we consider existence of single or multiple positive solutions of three-point boundary value problems involving one-dimensional p-Laplacian. We then study existence of solutions when the problems are in resonance cases. The proposed approach is based on the Krasnoselskii＇s fixed point theorem and the coincidence degree.

EKELAND’S VARIATIONAL PRINCIPLE AND CARISTI’S COINCIDENCE THEOREM FOR SET-VALUED MAPPINGS IN PROBABILISTIC METRIC SPACES

By using the partial ordering method,a more general type,of Ekeland’s ariational principle and a set-valued Caristi’s coincidence theorem in probabilistic metric spaces are obtained.In addition,a direct simple proof of the equivalence between these two theorems in probabilistic metric spaces is given.     

Existence of oscillatory solutions in longitudinal flight dynamics

By means of coincidence degree theory and Mawhin's continuation theorem, a theoretical proof is given for the existence of oscillatory solutions of the simplified dynamical system which governs the motion around the center of mass in a longitudinal flight with constant forward velocity of a rigid aircraft, when the automatic flight control system is decoupled.     

Chaos and Shadowing Lemma for Autonomous Systems of Infinite Dimensions

For finite-dimensional maps and periodic systems, Palmer rigorously proved Smale horseshoe theorem using shadowing lemma in 1988 [20]. For infinite-dimensional maps and periodic systems, such a proof was completed by Steinlein and Walther in 1990 [30], and Henry in 1994 [9]. For finite-dimensional autonomous systems, such a proof was accomplished by Palmer in 1996 [17]. For infinite-dimensional autonomous systems, the current article offers such a proof. First we prove an Inclination Lemma to set up a coordinate system around a pseudo-orbit. Then we utilize graph transform and the concept of persistence of invariant manifold, to prove the existence of a shadowing orbit.     

MAXIMAL ELEMENTS FOR G-B-MAJORIZED MAPPINGS IN PRODUCT G-CONVEX SPACES AND APPLICATIONS (Ⅱ)

By applying existence theorems of maximal elements for a family of G_B-majorized mappings in a product space of G-convex spaces, some coincidence theorem, Fan-Browder type fixed point theorem and some existence theorems of solutions for a system of minimax inequalities are proved under noncompact setting of G-convex spaces. These theorems improve and generalize many important known results in literature. Uniqueness theorem,theorem of reciprocity,and eigenvalue problems in linear theory of porous piezoelectricity

The uniqueness theorem and the theorem of reciprocity in the linearized porous piezoelectricity are established under the assumption of positive definiteness of elastic and electric fields. General theorems in the linear theory of porous piezoelectric materials are proved for the quasi-static electric field approximation. The uniqueness theorem is also proved without using the positive definiteness of the elastic field. An eigenvalue problem associated with free vibrations of a porous piezoelectric body is studied using the abstract formulation. Some properties of operators are also proved. The problem of frequency shift due to small disturbances, based on an abstract formulation, is studied using a variational and operator approach. A perturbation analysis of a special case is also given.

Section theorems,coincidence theorems and intersection theorems on H-spaces with applications

The purpose of this paper is to study the section theorems, coincidence theorems and intersection theorems on H-spaces. As a way of application, we use these results to study the existence problems of solutions for minimax inequalities and variational inequalities. 本文提出了双参数基础上弹性薄板的中值定理并给出了证明。作为一种特殊情况,当地基特征参数 G_p 和 k 趋于零时,获得了 Winkler 基础上弹性薄板的中值定理和二维双调和函数的中值定理。     

CONTINUOUS SELECTION THEOREMS FOR FAN-BROWDER MAPPINGS IN TOPOLOGICAL SPACES AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

The concept of Fan-Browder mappings was first introduced in topological spaces without any convex structure. Then a new continuous selection theorem was obtained for the Fan-Browder mapping with range in a topological space without any convex structure and noncompact domain. As applications, some fixed point theorems, coincidence theorems and a nonempty intersection theorem were given. Both the new concepts and results unify and extend many known results in recent literature.

SYSTEM OF COINCIDENCE THEOREMS IN PRODUCT TOPOLOGICAL SPACES AND APPLICATIONS (Ⅰ)

A new notion of finite continuous topological space (in short, FC-space)with out convexity structure was introduced. A new continuous selection theorem was established in FC-spaces. By applying the continuous selection theorem, some new coincidence theorems for two families of set-valued mappings defined on product space of noncompact FC-spaces are proved under much weak assumptions. These results generalize many known results in recent literature. Some applications will be given in a follow-up paper.
