Intermolecular multiple-quantum coherences have been proven in recent years to provide a novel contrast mechanism to study heterogeneity in liquid systems. This subject represents a source of remarkable interest in the fields of physics of matter and biomedicine. Recent results achieved on intermolecular double-quantum signal transverse relaxation decay in confined liquid systems (such as in vivo bone marrow in trabecular bone, and doped water in glass capillary pipes) are reported and discussed in this paper. Correlated two-dimensional spectroscopy revamped by asymmetricz-gradient echo detection-like sequences were implemented in order to perform intermolecular doublequantum transverse relaxationT 2DQ andT 2DQ * measurements. Our experimental results indicated that the relationshipT 2,n * =T 2 * /n betweenn-quantum transverse relaxation time and the conventional singlequantumT 2 * only applies for homogeneous systems and fails in the case of highly heterogeneous systems like porous systems.  相似文献

It is numerically shown that the groundstate of the Friedel problem (consisting of a conduction band and a dresonance), occupied with (n+ 1) electrons, can be written as Ψ = (A a 0 * +Bd*) Π v=1 n a v * Φ0, where a 0 * represents a localized conduction electron state, d* is the Friedel resonance state and Π v=1 n a v 8 Φ0 is a Slater determinant of n single electron states a t * , (Φ0 is the vacuum state). Starting from an isospin invariant shell-model hamiltonian, we describe a method for deriving microscopically the IBM-hamiltonian appropriate to lights d-shell nuclei. The key ingredients of our approach are:a) the Belyaev-Zelevinsky-Marshalek (BZM) bosonization procedure;b) two successive unitary transformations that extract the “maximally decoupled” collective bosons with angular momentaJ=0(s ππ + ,s νν + ,s πν + ) andJ =2(d ππ + ,d νν + ,d πν + (T=0),d πν + (T=1)). The method is applied to obtain the low-energy spectra and the electron scattering form factors for the 0 1 + →2 1 + transitions in20Ne and24Mg. Good agreement with the exact shell-model results is achieved. The inclusion of proton-neutron bosons (s πν + ,d πν + (T=1),d πν + (T=0)), as well as the renormalization of boson parameters due to the non-collective degrees of freedom, are shown to play a crucial role.  相似文献

Spin effects in the weak two-body hadronic decays of the B c and B c * mesons into J/ψ and ρ(π) mesons are considered within the model of hard one-gluon exchange between quarks at high momentum transfers. It is shown that the polarization of the J/ψ meson in the decays of the B c * meson differs substantially from that in the decays of the B c * meson. The decay widths of the B c * meson differ significantly from the widths of the B c * meson.  相似文献

The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra of Eu2+ impurity centers in SrMoO4 crystals have been studied in the temperature range of 1.8, 100–300 K. A hyperfine structure has been simulated for 151,153Eu of different EPR transitions observed experimentally at different temperatures and external magnetic field orientations. A unique set of all parameters of the spin Hamiltonian for the known sign of the hyperfine interaction parameters A i has been determined. It has been found that the diagonal parameters |b n 0 | of the spin Hamiltonian decrease with increasing temperature; however, the parameter b 4 4 increases. The results of the study have demonstrated that |b 2 0 (T)/P 2 0 (T)| ~ const for 151,153Eu in this single crystal.  相似文献

Thermochemical data on fullerenes are relatively scarce. However, some thermochemical information can be derived from gas-phase experiments using the Knudsen cell mass spectrometry method. The third-law treatment can be carried out on the observed data, though one has to make the crucial presumption that the change in the thermodynamic potential ΔΦ T o in the course of the reactions considered is negligible: ΔΦ T o =0. It would be difficult to check the presumption directly in the experiment, but it can be checked computationally. Model reactions like C60+ 70 ? = 60 ? +70 are selected. The change in the thermodynamic potential ΔΦ T o and the change in the standard entropy ΔS T o are computed. For example, at a temperature of T=1000 K, the standard changes for the reaction evaluated using the SAM1 method are ΔΦ T o =1.513 cal/(mol K) and ΔS T o =?0.054 cal/(mol K). Overall, the computations support the critical thermodynamic presumption.  相似文献

We present a study of the inclusive production ofK *(892) and ∑t+-(1385)+cc at 3.6 GeV/c from \(\bar p\) p interactions. The sensitivity of the exposure is 35.4 events/μb. Longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions are presented. The indirect production ofK s 0 from parentK * and that of Λ's from parent Σ(1385) are studied. The shape of thex distribution of Λ's for \(p\xrightarrow{{\bar p}}\Lambda \) are calculated from \(p\xrightarrow{p}\Lambda \) and \(p\xrightarrow{{\pi ^ - }}\Lambda \) and compared with the experimental distributions. The difference of antiparticle production cross-section ofK s 0 in the central region is compared with the expectation from Mueller-Regge formalism.  相似文献

The general theory of inhomogeneous mean-field systems of Raggio and Werner provides a variational expression for the (almost sure) limiting free energy density of the Hopfield model $$H_{N,p}^{\{ \xi \} } (S) = - \frac{1}{{2N}}\sum\limits_{i,j = 1}^N {\sum\limits_{\mu = 1}^N {\xi _i^\mu \xi _j^\mu S_i S_j } } $$ for Ising spinsS i andp random patterns ξμ=(ξ 1 μ 2 μ ,...,ξ N μ ) under the assumption that $$\mathop {\lim }\limits_{N \to \gamma } N^{ - 1} \sum\limits_{i = 1}^N {\delta _{\xi _i } = \lambda ,} \xi _i = (\xi _i^1 ,\xi _i^2 ,...,\xi _i^p )$$ exists (almost surely) in the space of probability measures overp copies of {?1, 1}. Including an “external field” term ?ξ μ p hμμξ i=1 N ξ i μ Si, we give a number of general properties of the free-energy density and compute it for (a)p=2 in general and (b)p arbitrary when λ is uniform and at most the two componentsh μ1 andh μ2 are nonzero, obtaining the (almost sure) formula $$f(\beta ,h) = \tfrac{1}{2}f^{ew} (\beta ,h^{\mu _1 } + h^{\mu _2 } ) + \tfrac{1}{2}f^{ew} (\beta ,h^{\mu _1 } - h^{\mu _2 } )$$ for the free energy, wheref cw denotes the limiting free energy density of the Curie-Weiss model with unit interaction constant. In both cases, we obtain explicit formulas for the limiting (almost sure) values of the so-called overlap parameters $$m_N^\mu (\beta ,h) = N^{ - 1} \sum\limits_{i = 1}^N {\xi _i^\mu \left\langle {S_i } \right\rangle } $$ in terms of the Curie-Weiss magnetizations. For the general i.i.d. case with Prob {ξ i μ =±1}=(1/2)±?, we obtain the lower bound 1+4?2(p?1) for the temperatureT c separating the trivial free regime where the overlap vector is zero from the nontrivial regime where it is nonzero. This lower bound is exact forp=2, or ε=0, or ε=±1/2. Forp=2 we identify an intermediate temperature region between T*=1?4?2 and Tc=1+4?2 where the overlap vector is homogeneous (i.e., all its components are equal) and nonzero.T * marks the transition to the nonhomogeneous regime where the components of the overlap vector are distinct. We conjecture that the homogeneous nonzero regime exists forp≥3 and that T*=max{1?4?2(p?1),0}.  相似文献

InclusiveK s 0 andK s 0 K s 0 production in \(\bar pp\) interactions at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 GeV/c are studied. Cross sections ofK s 0 , K s 0 K s 0 andK (892) are presented for each incident momentum. The production ofK s 0 andK (892) through annihilation process is investigated. It is found that the annihilation process is dominant but decreases with incident momentum. The annihilation process is compared withe + e ? interactions. Remarkable similarity between them is found in the \({{x_0 = 2E(K_s^0 )} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{x_0 = 2E(K_s^0 )} {\sqrt s }}} \right. \kern-0em} {\sqrt s }}\) distribution. Events with two detectedK s 0 's are analyzed. The result shows theK s 0 K s 0 pairs are produced in the central region of c.m. system and there is a clearS * signal in theK s 0 K s 0 effective mass distribution.  相似文献

We have performed a two-channel calculation of Cabibbo-angle favoured decays,D s + →VP. We find a satisfactory fit toS s + φπ +,ρ 0 π + andK + \(\bar K^{ * 0} \) data from ARGUS and E-691. We have also studied Cabbibo-angle favouredD→VP decays in a coupled channel formalism. We coupleDK *π,K ? and \(\bar K^0 \phi \) channels inI=1/2 state, andK *π andK ? channels inI=3/2 state. We leave the two channels, \(\bar K^0 \omega \) and \(\bar K^{ * 0} \eta \) out of our unitarization scheme. Particular attention is paid to the role of the weak annihilation term in these decays.  相似文献

We present firstT 1e ?1 andT 2e ?1 measurements on the organic ion radical salt 3,3′-diethyl-4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-thiazolocyanine-(TCNQ)2 as function of temperature and of orientation. The electronic spin diffusion constant could be determined directly by the electron spin echo field gradient technique:D (300 K)=0.03±0.02 cm2/sec. Pulsed ESR experiments have — in comparison to conventional cw-ESR — the advantage to monitor viaT 1e ?1 andT 2e ?1 the spectral density of dynamical processes at different frequencies. This is shown in a general manner on 3,3′-diethyl-4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-thiazolocyanine-(TCNQ)2. Between 300 and 60 K,T 1e ?1 andT 2e ?1 are close in amplitude and have a similar temperature dependence. At 60 K their degeneracy is lifted, yielding a quantitative value for the effective spin exchange between localized spinsτ ex ?1 sec?1 and via the absolute value of the relaxation an average distance of the localized centers of about 12 Å. The dynamical data as evaluated above cannot be correlated with the conductivity, clearly indicating that the conduction electrons are a minority, not being monitored by the ESR-experiments.  相似文献

We analyze a discrete phenomenological model accounting for phase transitions and structures of polar Smectic-C* liquid-crystalline phases. The model predicts a sequence of phases observed in experiment: antiferroelectric SmC A * –ferrielectric SmC FI1 * –antiferroelectric SmC FI2 * (three-and four-layer periodic, respectively)–incommensurate SmC α * –SmA. We find that, in the three-layer SmC FI1 * structure, both the phase and the module of the order parameter (tilt angle) differ in smectic layers. This modulation of the tilt angle (and therefore of the layer spacing d) must lead to X-ray diffraction at the wave vectors Q s =2πs/d(s=n±1/3) even for the nonresonant scattering.  相似文献

Preliminary results from measurements of resonances (K *0(892), $\overline {K*^0 } (892)$ , Φ(1020), and ρ(770)) and weakly decaying particles (Λ(1116), $\bar \Lambda (1116)$ , and K S 0 (498)) are presented. The measurements are performed at mid-rapidity by the STAR detector in $\sqrt {s_{NN} } = 130$ GeV Au?Au collisions at RHIC. The ratios K *0/h?, $\overline {K*^0 } /K$ , and $\bar \Lambda /\Lambda $ are compared to measurements at different energies and colliding systems. Estimates of thermal parameters, such as temperature and baryon chemical potential, are also presented.  相似文献

The overview is devoted to quantum electrodynamics (QED) and the Standard Model in the Foldy-Wouthuysen representation. The Hamiltonian H FW in the form of a power series in charge e is obtained as applied to the electromagnetic interaction in the FW representation. Quantum electrodynamics in lowest-order perturbation theory is examined. Calculations of specific QED processes are presented. For external fermion lines (p f 2 = m 2), a possibility to expand the scattering matrix, in powers of the coupling constant with matrix elements, not including fermion propagators, is shown. To take into account particle-antiparticle interaction, a modification of the Foldy-Wouthuysen representation is proposed. Fermions in the modified FW representation can be in two states that are characterized by the sign of a third component of the isotopic spin T f 3 . The sign of T f 3 is connected with the sign at mass terms in the modified Hamiltonian H FW. Real fermions (p f 2 = m f 2 ), as well as antifermions, can interact with each other, while real fermions with a given sign of T f 3 can only interact with real antifermions with the opposite sign of T f 3 , and vice versa. The formulation of the Standard Model in the FW representation does not necessarily require an interaction of Higgs bosons with fermions. In this approach, the role of Higgs bosons narrows considerably as they are responsible only for gauge invariance of the theory and interact only with gauge bosons. Quantum electrodynamics in the FW representation is invariant under C, P, and T transformations. Weak interaction does not conserve C and P parity, but conserves combined CP parity. The theory allows a connection of CP violation and total or partial violation of isotopic symmetry in the modified Foldy-Wouthuysen representation.  相似文献

The ΛΛ 6 He and Λ 9 Be hypernuclei are treated as the S=0, T=0 (for the former) and S=1/2, T=0 (for the latter) bound states of the three-cluster systems ΛΛα and Λαα, respectively. The cluster-reduction method is used to solve the s-wave differential Faddeev equations for these systems. On the basis of the MT I–III model, the ΛΛ interaction potential is specified in the form $V_{\Lambda \Lambda } = \frac{2}{3}V_{NN} $ . Phenomenological potentials are used to describe Λα and αα interactions. The binding energies of the ΛΛ 6 He and Λ 9 Be hypernuclei and the parameters of low-energy Λ-hyperon and α-particle scattering on a Λ 5 He hypernucleus are calculated. It is shown that the proposed ΛΛ interaction potential makes it possible to reproduce faithfully the binding energy of the ΛΛ 6 He hypernucleus and that scattering in the Λ Λ 5 He system is similar to neutron scattering on a deuteron.  相似文献

We study the leptonic decay modes of the vectorT b * and pseudoscalarT b t-flavored mesons in the framework of some extended technicolor models and for the standardSU(2)×U(1) model with two complex Higgs doublets. We find that the ratioГ(T b * ? v Г(T? v) bcan help in discriminating among these models but, unfortunately, the experimental prospects for detecting these decay modes are not very bright.  相似文献
