给出了含幺Clifford半群上的Rees矩阵半群S的正规加密群结构,证明了在含幺Clifford半群上的Rees矩阵半群S上以下两个条件是等价的:(1)S上的同余ρ是完全单半群同余;(2)S上的同余ρ和S上的相容组之间存在保序双射.最后还证明了S上的完全单半群同余所构成的同余格是半模的.

Free completely <Emphasis Type="Italic">J</Emphasis><Superscript>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">ℓ</Emphasis>)</Superscript>-simple Semigroups

A semigroup is called completely J^(ι)-simple if it is isomorphic to some Rees matrix semigroup over a left cancellative monoid and each entry of whose sandwich matrix is in the group of units of the left cancellative monoid. It is proved that completely J^(ι)-simple semigroups form a quasivarity. Moreover, the construction of free completely J^(ι)-simple semigroups is given. It is found that a free completely J^(ι)-simple semigroup is just a free completely J ^*-simple semigroup and also a full subsemigroup of some completely simple semigroups.     

Automatic structures for semigroup constructions

We survey results concerning automatic structures for semigroup constructions, providing references and describing the corresponding automatic structures. The constructions we consider are: free products, direct products, Rees matrix semigroups, Bruck-Reilly extensions and wreath products.     

The Endomorphisms of a Finite Chain Form a Rees Congruence Semigroup

Rees congruence semigroup , is one for which every non-identity congruence is a Rees congruence. We show that the widely studied semigroup of endomorphisms of a finite chain is a Rees congruence semigroup. Communicated by

Strong Morita equivalence of semigroups with local units

In this paper we study Morita contexts for semigroups. We prove a Rees matrix cover connection between strongly Morita equivalent semigroups and investigate how the existence of a unitary Morita semigroup over a given semigroup is related to the existence of a ‘good’ Rees matrix cover of this semigroup.

Embedding locally inverse semigroups into Rees matrix semigroups

We give a necessary and sufficient condition for a locally inverse semigroup to be embeddable into a Rees matrix semigroup over a generalized inverse semigroup.     

Regular Semigroups Each of Whose Least Completely Simple Congruence Classes Has a Greatest Element

A regular semigroup S is termed locally F-regular, if each class of the least completely simple congruence ξ contains a greatest element with respect to the natural partial order. It is shown that each locally F-regular semigroup S admits an embedding into a semidirect product of a band by S/ξ. Further, if ξ satisfies the additional property that for each s ∈ S and each inverse (sξ)′ of sξ in S/ξ the set (sξ)′ ∩ V(s) is not empty, we represent S both as a Rees matrix semigroup over an F-regular semigroup as well as a certain subsemigroup of a restricted semidirect product of a band by S/ξ.     

On <Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis>-weak amenability of Rees semigroup algebras

Let S be a Rees matrix semigroup. We show that l ¹(S) is (2k + 1)-weakly amenable for k ∈ ℤ⁺.     

一类双曲型方程的Hamilton算子半群方法

Archimedean ordered semigroups as ideal extensions

The main result of the paper is a structure theorem concerning the ideal extensions of archimedean ordered semigroups. We prove that an archimedean ordered semigroup which contains an idempotent is an ideal extension of a simple ordered semigroup containing an idempotent by a nil ordered semigroup. Conversely, if an ordered semigroup S is an ideal extension of a simple ordered semigroup by a nil ordered semigroup, then S is archimedean. As a consequence, an ordered semigroup is archimedean and contains an idempotent if and only if it is an ideal extension of a simple ordered semigroup containing an idempotent by a nil ordered semigroup.     

On Distribution Semigroups with a Singularity at Zero and Bounded Solutions of Differential Inclusions

We study distribution semigroups with a singularity at zero and their generators, and establish a relationship between this semigroup and a degenerate semigroup of linear operators on the open right half-line. The study makes an intensive use of spectral theory of linear relations. Applications to the existence problem for bounded solutions of linear differential inclusions are obtained.     

Enlargements and Coverings by Rees Matrix Semigroups

 We formulate a general condition, called an enlargement, under which a semigroup T is covered by a Rees matrix semigroup over a subsemigroup.     

Serre's Condition Rℓ for Affine Semigroup Rings

In this note we characterize the affine semigroup rings K[S] over an arbitrary field K that satisfy condition R_? of Serre. Our characterization is in terms of the face lattice of the positive cone pos(S) of S. We start by reviewing some basic facts about the faces of pos(S) and consequences for the monomial primes of K[S]. After proving our characterization we turn our attention to the Rees algebras of a special class of monomial ideals in a polynomial ring over a field. In this special case, some of the characterizing criteria are always satisfied. We give examples of non-normal affine semigroup rings that satisfy R₂.
