Addition of 2 equiv of HSiEt(3) to UO(2)((Ar)acnac)(2) ((Ar)acnac = ArNC(Ph)CHC(Ph)O, Ar = 3,5-(t)Bu(2)C(6)H(3)) in the presence of 1 equiv of B(C(6)F(5))(3) results in formation of the U(V) bis(silyloxide) complex [U(OSiEt(3))(2)((Ar)acnac)(2)][HB(C(6)F(5))(3)] (1) in 80% yield. Also produced in the reaction, as a minor product, is U(OSiEt(3))(OB{C(6)F(5)}(3))((Ar)acnac)(2) (2). Interestingly, thermolysis of 1 at 85 °C for 24 h also results in formation of 2, concomitant with production of Et(3)SiH. Addition of 1 equiv of Cp(2)Co to 1 results in formation of U(OSiEt(3))(2)((Ar)acnac)(2) (3) and [Cp(2)Co][HB(C(6)F(5))(3)] (4), which can be isolated in 61% and 71% yields, respectively. Complexes 1-3 have been characterized by X-ray crystallography, while the solution-phase redox properties of 1 have been measured with cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

Four Fe(III) compounds and one Fe(II) compound containing mononuclear, homoleptic, fluorinated phenolate anions of the form [Fe(OAr)(m)](n-) have been prepared in which Ar(F) = C(6)F(5) and Ar' = 3,5-C(6)(CF(3))(2)H(3): (Ph(4)P)(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(5)], 1, (Me(4)N)(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(5)], 2, {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(5)], 3a, {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[Fe(OAr')(5)], 3b, and {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(4)], 6. Two dinuclear Fe(III) compounds have also been prepared: {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[(OAr(F))(3)Fe(μ(2)-O)Fe(OAr(F))(3)], 4, and {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[(OAr(F))(3)Fe(μ(2)-OAr(F))(2)Fe(OAr(F))(3)], 5. These compounds have been characterized with UV-vis spectroscopy, elemental analysis, Evans method susceptibility, and X-ray crystallography. All-electron, geometry-optimized DFT calculations on four [Ti(IV)(OAr)(4)] and four [Fe(III)(OAr)(4)](-) species (Ar = 2,3,5,6-C(6)Me(4)H, C(6)H(5), 2,4,6-C(6)Cl(3)H(2), C(6)F(5)) with GGA-BP and hybrid B3LYP basis sets demonstrated that, under D(2d) symmetry, π donation from the O 2p orbitals is primarily into the d(xy) and d(z(2)) orbitals. The degree of donation is qualitatively consistent with expectations based on ligand Br?nsted basicity and supports the contention that fluorinated phenolate ligands facilitate isolation of nonbridged homoleptic complexes due to their reduced π basicity at oxygen.  相似文献

The reaction of Fe(N{SiMe(3)}(2))(2) (1) with 1 equiv of arylthiol (ArSH) results in material of notional composition Fe(SAr)(N{SiMe(3)}(2)) (2), from which crystalline Fe(2)(μ-SAr)(2)(N{SiMe(3)}(2))(2)(THF)(2) (Ar = Mes) can be isolated from tetrahydrofuran (THF) solvent. Treatment of 2 with 0.5 equiv of 1,2-diarylhydrazine (Ar'NH-NHAr', Ar' = Ph, p-Tol) yields ferric-imide-thiolate cubanes Fe(4)(μ(3)-NAr')(4)(SAr)(4) (3). The site-differentiated, 1-electron reduced iron-imide cubane derivative [Fe(THF)(6)][Fe(4)(μ(3)-N-p-Tol)(4)(SDMP)(3)(N{SiMe(3)}(2))](2) ([Fe(THF)(6)][4](2); DMP = 2,6-dimethylphenyl) can be isolated by adjusting the reaction stoichiometry of 1/ArSH/Ar'NHNHAr' to 9:6:5. The isolated compounds were characterized by a combination of structural (X-ray diffraction), spectroscopic (NMR, UV-vis, Mo?ssbauer, EPR), and magnetochemical methods. Reactions with a range of hydrazines reveal complex chemical behavior that includes not only N-N bond reduction for 1,2-di- and trisubstituted arylhydrazines, but also catalytic disproportionation for 1,2-diarylhydrazines, N-C bond cleavage for 1,2-diisopropylhydrazine, and no reaction for hindered and tetrasubstituted hydrazines.  相似文献

Addition of 1 equiv of Li(Ar2nacnac) (Ar2nacnac = (2,6-(i)Pr2C6H3)NC(Me)CHC(Me)N(2,6-(i)Pr2C6H3)) to an Et2O suspension of UO2Cl2(THF)3 generates the uranyl dimer [UO2(Ar2nacnac)Cl]2 (1) in good yield. A second species can be isolated in low yield from the reaction mixtures of 1, namely [Li(OEt2)2][UO2(Ar2nacnac)Cl2] (2). The structures of both 1 and 2 have been confirmed by X-ray crystallography. Complex 1 reacts with Ph3PO to generate UO2(Ar2nacnac)Cl(Ph3PO) (3). In addition, 1 reacts with AgOTf and either 1 equiv of DPPMO2 or 2 equiv of Ph2MePO to provide [UO2(Ar2nacnac)(DPPMO2)][OTf] (4) and [UO2(Ar2nacnac)(Ph2MePO)2][OTf] (5), respectively. Both 4 and 5 have been fully characterized, including analysis by X-ray crystallography and cyclic voltammetry. Reduction of 4 with Cp2Co provides UO2(Ar2nacnac)(CH{Ph2PO}2) (6), a uranyl(VI) complex that is generated by the formal loss of H* from the DPPMO2 ligand. Labeling studies have been performed in an attempt to elucidate the mechanism of hydrogen loss. In contrast, reduction of 5 with Cp2Co provides UO2(Ar2nacnac)(Ph2MePO)2 (7), a rare example of a uranyl(V) complex. As expected, the solid-state molecular structure of 7 reveals slightly longer U-O(oxo) bond lengths relative to 5. Furthermore, complex 7 can be converted back into 5 by oxidation with AgOTf in toluene.  相似文献

Treatment of ThCl(4)(DME)(2) or UCl(4) with 1 equiv of dilithiumbis(iminophosphorano) methandiide, [Li(2)C(Ph(2)P═NSiMe(3))(2)] (1), afforded the chloro actinide carbene complexes [Cl(2)M(C(Ph(2)P═NSiMe(3))(2))] (2 (M = Th) and 3 (M = U)) in situ. Stable PCP metal-carbene complexes [Cp(2)Th(C(Ph(2)P═NSiMe(3))(2))] (4), [Cp(2)U(C(Ph(2)P═NSiMe(3))(2))] (5), [TpTh(C(Ph(2)P═NSiMe(3))(2))Cl] (6), and [TpU(C(Ph(2)P═NSiMe(3))(2))Cl] (7) were generated from 2 or 3 by further reaction with 2 equiv of thallium(I) cyclopentadienide (CpTl) in THF to yield 4 or 5 or with 1 equiv of potassium hydrotris(pyrazol-1-yl) borate (TpK) also in THF to give 6 or 7, respectively. The derivative complexes were isolated, and their crystal structures were determined by X-ray diffraction. All of these U (or Th)-carbene complexes (4-7) possess a very short M (Th or U)═carbene bond with evidence for multiple bond character. Gaussian 03 DFT calculations indicate that the M═C double bond is constructed by interaction of the 5f and 6d orbitals of the actinide metal with carbene 2p orbitals of both π and σ character. Complex 3 reacted with acetonitrile or benzonitrile to cyclo-add C≡N to the U═carbon double bond, thereby forming a new C-C bond in a new chelated quadridentate ligand in the bridged dimetallic complexes (9 and 10). A single carbon-U bond is retained. The newly coordinated uranium complex dimerizes with one equivalent of unconverted 3 using two chlorides and the newly formed imine derived from the nitrile as three connecting bridges. In addition, a new crystal structure of [CpUCl(3)(THF)(2)] (8) was determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

From the reactions of Cp*ZrCl(3) with 3 equiv. of LiBH(3)R (R = CH(3), Ph), the organotrihydroborate complexes, Cp*Zr(BH(3)CH(3))(3), 1, and Cp*Zr(BH(3)Ph)(3), 2, were isolated. One of the Zr-H-B bonding interactions in 2 could be described as an intermediate case between the bidentate and tridentate modes. Reactions of and Cp*Zr(BH(4))(3), 3, with Lewis acid B(C(6)F(5))(3) in diethyl ether produced the novel 14-electron ionic compounds [(micro(3)-O)(micro(2)-OC(2)H(5))(3){(Cp*Zr(OC(2)H(5)))(2)(BCH(3))}][HB(C(6)F(5))(3)], 4, and [(micro(3)-O)(micro(2)-OC(2)H(5))(3){(Cp*Zr(OC(2)H(5)))(2)(BOC(2)H(5))}][HB(C(6)F(5))(3)], 5, respectively. These two unique compounds resulted from a sequential cleavage of Zr-H-B bonds of 1 and 3 and C-O bonds of ether followed by the formation of O-B bonds. The solid state single crystal X-ray analyses revealed that both compounds have similar structures. A micro(3)-oxygen bridges two zirconiums and a boron atom. The latter three atoms are further connected by three micro(2)-bridging ethoxy groups giving rise to three four-membered metallacycles within the structure of each cation.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of the homoleptic uranium(IV) alkyls U(CH(2)C(6)H(5))(4) (1-Ph), U(CH(2)-p-CH(3)C(6)H(4))(4) (1-p-Me), and U(CH(2)-m-(CH(3))(2)C(6)H(3))(4) (1-m-Me(2)) are reported. The addition of 4 equiv of K(CH(2)Ar) (Ar = Ph, p-CH(3)C(6)H(4), m-(CH(3))(2)C(6)H(3)) to UCl(4) at -108 °C produces 1-Ph in good yields and 1-p-Me and 1-m-Me(2) in moderate yields. Further characterization of 1-Ph by X-ray crystallography confirmed η(4)-coordination of each benzyl ligand to the uranium center. Magnetic studies produced an effective magnetic moment of 2.60 μ(B) at 23 °C, which is consistent with a tetravalent uranium 5f(2) electronic configuration. Addition of 1 equiv of the redox-active α-diimine (Mes)DAB(Me) ((Mes)DAB(Me) = [ArN═C(Me)C(Me)═NAr]; Ar = 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl (Mes)) to 1-Ph results in reductive elimination of 1 equiv of bibenzyl (PhCH(2)CH(2)Ph), affording ((Mes)DAB(Me))U(CH(2)C(6)H(5))(2) (2-Ph). Treating an equimolar mixture of 1-Ph and 1-Ph-d(28) with (Mes)DAB(Me) forms the products from monomolecular reductive elimination, 2-Ph, 2-Ph-d(14), bibenzyl, and bibenzyl-d(14). This is confirmed by (1)H NMR spectroscopy and GC/MS analysis of both organometallic and organic products. Addition of 1 equiv of 1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane (dmpe) to 1-Ph results in formation of the previously synthesized (dmpe)U(CH(2)C(6)H(5))(4) (3-Ph), indicating the redox-innocent chelating phosphine stabilizes the uranium center in 3-Ph and prevents reductive elimination of bibenzyl. Full characterization for 3-Ph, including X-ray crystallography, is reported.  相似文献

Compounds of the new tetrafluorophthalimido anion, [C(6)F(4)(CO)(2)N](-), are readily accessible by treatment of tetrafluorophthalimide with either LiNPr(i)(2) or mixtures of NEt(3) and Me(3)ECl (E = Si or Sn), to give C(6)F(4)(CO)(2)N-X (X = Li 3, SiMe(3)4, and SnMe(3)5). The reaction of the trimethylsilyl derivative 4 with AgF leads cleanly to the ion pair complex [Ag(NCMe)(2)][Ag(N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4))(2)] (6·2MeCN), which contains a linear [Ag{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)}(2)](-) anion and a tetracoordinate Ag(+) cation. Compound 6 reacts with iodine to give the N-iodo compound C(6)F(4)(CO)(2)NI 7, which crystallises as an acetonitrile adduct. Treatment of 6 with LAuCl affords LAu{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)} (L = Ph(3)P 8a, Cy(3)P 8b, or THT 9), whereas the reaction with AuCl in acetonitrile affords the heterobinuclear compound [Ag(MeCN)(2)][Au{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)}(2)]·MeCN (10·3MeCN). The tetrafluorophthalimido ligand is not readily displaced by donor ligands; however, the addition of B(C(6)F(5))(3)(Et(2)O) to a diethyl ether solution of 8a leads to the salt [Au(PPh(3))(2)][N{COB(C(6)F(5))(3)}(2)C(6)F(4))] 11. The analogous reaction of (THT)Au{N(CO)(2)C(6)F(4)} with B(C(6)F(5))(3) in toluene in the presence of excess norbornene (nb) gives [Au(nb)(3)][N{COB(C(6)F(5))(3)}(2)C(6)F(4))] 12. Compounds 11 and 12 contain a new non-coordinating phthalimido-bridged diborate anion with O-bonded boron atoms. The crystal structures of compounds 2-11 are reported.  相似文献

Uranium compounds supported by redox-active α-diimine ligands, which have methyl groups on the ligand backbone and bulky mesityl substituents on the nitrogen atoms {(Mes)DAB(Me) = [ArN═C(Me)C(Me)═NAr], where Ar = 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl (Mes)}, are reported. The addition of 2 equiv of (Mes)DAB(Me), 3 equiv of KC(8), and 1 equiv of UI(3)(THF)(4) produced the bis(ligand) species ((Mes)DAB(Me))(2)U(THF) (1). The metallocene derivative, Cp(2)U((Mes)DAB(Me)) (2), was generated by the addition of an equimolar ratio of (Mes)DAB(Me) and KC(8) to Cp(3)U. The bond lengths in the molecular structure of both species confirm that the α-diimine ligands have been doubly reduced to form ene-diamide ligands. Characterization by electronic absorption spectroscopy shows weak, sharp transitions in the near-IR region of the spectrum and, in combination with the crystallographic data, is consistent with the formulation that tetravalent uranium ions are present and supported by ene-diamide ligands. This interpretation was verified by U L(III)-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy and by variable-temperature magnetic measurements. The magnetic data are consistent with singlet ground states at low temperature and variable-temperature dependencies that would be expected for uranium(IV) species. However, both complexes exhibit low magnetic moments at room temperature, with values of 1.91 and 1.79 μ(B) for 1 and 2, respectively. Iodomethane was used to test the reactivity of 1 and 2 for multielectron transfer. While 2 showed no reactivity with CH(3)I, the addition of 2 equiv of iodomethane to 1 resulted in the formation of a uranium(IV) monoiodide species, ((Mes)DAB(Me))((Mes)DAB(Me2))UI {3; (Mes)DAB(Me2) = [ArN═C(Me)C(Me(2))NAr]}, which was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and U M(4)- and M(5)-edge XANES. Confirmation of the structure was also attained by deuterium labeling studies, which showed that a methyl group was added to the ene-diamide ligand carbon backbone.  相似文献

Treatment of 0.5 equiv of [Cp*IrCl(2)](2) with 1/3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S(t)Bu-indene afforded Cp*Ir(Cl)(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-indene) (1) in 95% yield (Cp* = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5)). Addition of AgOTf or LiB(C(6)F(5))(4) x 2.5 OEt(2) to 1 gave [Cp*Ir(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-indene)](+)X(-) ([2](+)X(-); X = OTf, 78%; X = B(C(6)F(5))(4), 82%), which represent the first examples of isolable coordinatively unsaturated [Cp'Ir(kappa(2)-P,S)](+)X(-) complexes. Exposure of [2](+)OTf(-) to CO afforded [2 x CO](+)OTf(-) in 91% yield, while treatment of [2](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) with PMe(3) generated [2 x PMe(3)](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) in 94% yield. Treatment of 1 with K(2)CO(3) in CH(3)CN allowed for the isolation of the unusual adduct 3 x CH(3)CN (41% isolated yield), in which the CH(3)CN bridges the Lewis acidic Cp*Ir and Lewis basic indenide fragments of the targeted coordinatively unsaturated zwitterion Cp*Ir(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-indenide) (3). In contrast to the formation of [2 x CO](+)OTf(-), exposure of 3 x CH(3)CN to CO did not afford 3 x CO; instead, a clean 1:1 mixture of (kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-indene)Ir(CO)(2) (4) and 1,2,3,4-tetramethylfulvene was generated. Treatment of [2](+)OTf(-) with Ph(2)SiH(2) resulted in the net loss of Ph(2)Si(OTf)H to give Cp*Ir(H)(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-indene) (5) in 44% yield. In contrast, treatment of [2](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) with Ph(2)SiH(2) or PhSiH(3) proceeded via H-Si addition across Ir-S to give the corresponding [Cp*Ir(H)(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S(SiHPhX)-indene)](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) complexes 6a (X = Ph, 68%) or 6b (X = H, 77%), which feature a newly established S-Si linkage. Compound 6a was observed to effect net C-O bond cleavage in diethyl ether with net loss of Ph(2)Si(OEt)H, affording [Cp*Ir(H)(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-SEt-indene)](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) (7) in 77% yield. Furthermore, 6a proved capable of transferring Ph(2)SiH(2) to acetophenone, with concomitant regeneration of [2](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-); however, [2](+)X(-) did not prove to be effective ketone hydrosilylation catalysts. Treatment of 1/3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S(t)Bu-indene with 0.5 equiv of [Cp*RhCl(2)](2) gave Cp*Rh(Cl)(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-indene) (8) in 94% yield. Combination of 8 and LiB(C(6)F(5))(4) x 2.5 Et(2)O produced the coordinatively unsaturated cation [Cp*Rh(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-indene)](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) ([9](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-)), which was transformed into [Cp*Rh(H)(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S(SiHPh(2))-indene)](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) (10) via net H-Si addition of Ph(2)SiH(2) to Rh-S. Unlike [2](+)X(-), complex [9](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) was shown to be an effective catalyst for ketone hydrosilylation. Treatment of 3 x CH(3)CN with Ph(2)SiH(2) resulted in the loss of CH(3)CN, along with the formation of Cp*Ir(H)(kappa(2)-3-P(i)Pr(2)-2-S-(1-diphenylsilylindene)) (11) (64% isolated yield) as a mixture of diastereomers. The formation of 11 corresponds to heterolytic H-Si bond activation, involving net addition of H(-) and Ph(2)HSi(+) fragments to Ir and indenide in the unobserved zwitterion 3. Crystallographic data are provided for 1, [2 x CO](+)OTf(-), 3 x CH(3)CN, 7, and 11. Collectively, these results demonstrate the versatility of donor-functionalized indene ancillary ligands in allowing for the selection of divergent metal-ligand cooperativity pathways (simply by ancillary ligand deprotonation) in the activation of small molecule substrates.  相似文献

The tetrahydroborate OsH(η(2)-H(2)BH(2))(CO)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (1) reacts with aniline and p-toluidine to give the aminoboryl derivatives [chemical structure: see text] (R = H (2), CH(3) (3)) and four H(2) molecules. Treatment of 2 and 3 with phenylacetylene gives Os{B(NHC(6)H(4)R)(2)}(C≡CPh)(CO)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (R = H (4), CH(3) (5)), which react with HBF(4) to afford the amino(fluoro)boryl species Os{BF(NHC(6)H(4)R)}(C≡CPh)(CO)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (R = H (6), CH(3) (7)). In contrast to HBF(4), the addition of acetic acid to 4 and 5 induces the release of phenylacetylene and the formation of the six-coordinate derivatives Os{B(NHC(6)H(4)R)(2)}(κ(2)-O(2)CCH(3))(CO)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (R = H (8), CH(3) (9)). The coordination number six for 4 and 5 can be also achieved by addition of CO. Under this gas Os{B(NHC(6)H(4)R)(2)}(C≡CPh)(CO)(2)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (R = H (10), CH(3) (11)) are formed. In toluene, these alkynyl-aminoboryl compounds evolve into the aminoborylvinylidenes Os{═C═C(Ph)B(NHC(6)H(4)R)(2)}(CO)(2)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (R = H (12), CH(3) (13)) via a unimolecular 1,3-boryl migration from the metal to the C(β) atom of the alkynyl ligand. Similarly to 4 and 5, complexes 6 and 7 coordinate CO to give Os{BF(NHC(6)H(4)R)}(C≡CPh)(CO)(2)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (R = H (15), CH(3) (16)), which evolve to Os{═C═C(Ph)BF(NHC(6)H(4)R)}(CO)(2)(P(i)Pr(3))(2) (R = H (17), CH(3) (18)).  相似文献

New insights into the distinct organometallic chemistry of the Ga(+) ion are presented. Ga(+) reacts as a strong electrophile with the electron rich ligand trismethylene-methane (C(CH(2))(3) (2-)) attached at Ru by insertion into a Ru--C bond. The resulting "gallamethylallyl" ligand behaves like strong nucleophile similar to known monovalent GaR species. This donor property leads to the dimeric structure of the product [{Ru(GaCp*)(3)[eta(3)-(CH(2))(2)C{CH(2)(mu-Ga)}]}(2)][(BAr(F))(2)] (4) (Cp*=C(5)Me(5), [BAr(F)]=[B{C(6)H(3)(CF(3))(2)}(4)]). Very unexpectedly, the two gallium ligands in this dimer are found in close vicinity to each other with a distance in the range of Ga--Ga bonds. Indeed, AIM calculations confirm a weak attractive closed shell Ga--Ga interaction. Finally, a novel example of a complex with substituent-free Ga(+) as a ligand was found in the compound [Ru(PCy(3))(2)(GaCp*)(2)(Ga)][BAr(F)] (6) (Cy=C(6)H(11), cyclohexyl), the very short Ru--Ga bond length confirming the assumption that Ga(+) represents a pure sigma/pi-accepting ligand in this case.  相似文献

Reaction of the uranyl β-ketoiminate complex UO(2)((tBu)acnac)(2) (1) ((tBu)acnac = (t)BuNC(Ph)CHC(Ph)O) with Me(3)SiI, in the presence of Ph(3)P, results in the reductive silylation of the uranyl moiety and formation of the U(V) bis-silyloxide complex [Ph(3)PI][U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(4)] (2). Subsequent reaction of 2 with Lewis bases, such as 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), and tetrahydrofuran (THF), results in a further reduction of the metal center and isolation of the U(IV) complexes U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(2)(bipy)(2) (3), U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(2)(phen)(2) (4), and [U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(THF)(4)][I(3)] (5), respectively.  相似文献

Reactions of [MO(4)](2)(-) (M = Mo, W) with certain carbon and silicon electrophiles were investigated in acetonitrile in order to produce species of potential utility in the synthesis of analogues of the sites in the xanthine oxidoreductase enzyme family. Silylation of [MoO(4)](2)(-) affords [MoO(3)(OSiPh(3))](1)(-), which with Ph(3)SiSH is converted to [MoO(2)S(OSiPh(3))](1)(-). Reaction with (Ph(3)C)(PF(6))/HS(-) yields the tetrahedral monosulfido species [MO(3)S](2)(-), previously obtained only from the aqueous system [MO(4)](2)(-)/H(2)S. Dithiolene chelate rings are readily introduced upon reaction with 1,2-C(6)H(4)(SSiMe(3))(2), leading to the square pyramidal trioxo complexes [MO(3)(bdt)](2)(-), a previously unknown dithiolene molecular type. Further ring insertion occurs upon reaction of [WO(3)(bdt)](2)(-) with 1,2-C(6)H(4)(SSiMe(3))(2), giving [WO(2)(bdt)(2)](2)(-). Related reactions occur with [ReO(4)](1)(-). Treatment with 1 equiv of (Me(3)Si)(2)S produces [ReO(3)S](1)(-); with 3 equiv of 1,2-C(6)H(4)(SSiMe(3))(2), [ReO(bdt)(2)](1)(-) is obtained with concomitant Re(VII) --> Re(V) reduction. X-ray structures are reported for [MO(3)S](z)(-) (M = Mo, W, z = 2; M = Re, z = 1), [MO(3)(bdt)](2)(-), and [WO(2)(OSiPh(3))(bdt)](1)(-), a silylation product of [WO(3)(bdt)](2)(-). [MoO(3)(bdt)](2)(-) is related to the site of inactive sulfite oxidase, and [WO(2)(OSiPh(3))(bdt)](1)(-) should closely approximate the metric features of the [(dithiolene)MoO(2)(OH)] site in inactive aldehyde/xanthine oxidoreductase. This work provides convenient syntheses of known and new derivatives of tetraoxometalates, among which is entry to a unique class of oxo-monodithiolene complexes.  相似文献

Reaction of {Li(THF)Ar'MnI(2)}(2) (Ar' = C(6)H(3)-2,6-(C(6)H(2)-2,6-(i)Pr(3))(2)) with LiAr', LiC≡CR (R = (t)Bu or Ph), or (C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-(i)Pr(3))MgBr(THF)(2) afforded the diaryl MnAr'(2) (1), the alkynyl salts Ar'Mn(C≡C(t)Bu)(4){Li(THF)}(3) (2) and Ar'Mn(C≡CPh)(3)Li(3)(THF)(Et(2)O)(2)(μ(3)-I) (3), and the manganate salt {Li(THF)}Ar'Mn(μ-I)(C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-(i)Pr(3)) (4), respectively. Complex 4 reacted with one equivalent of (C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-(i)Pr(3))MgBr(THF)(2) to afford the homoleptic dimer {Mn(C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-(i)Pr(3))(μ-C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-(i)Pr(3))}(2) (5), which resulted from the displacement of the bulkier Ar' ligand in preference to the halogen. The reaction of the more crowded {Li(THF)Ar*MnI(2)}(2) (Ar* = C(6)H(3)-2,6-(C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-(i)Pr(3))(2)) with Li(t)Bu gave complex Ar*Mn(t)Bu (6). Complex 1 is a rare monomeric homoleptic two-coordinate diaryl Mn(II) complex; while 6 displays no tendency to eliminate β-hydrogens from the (t)Bu group because of the stabilization supplied by Ar*. Compounds 2 and 3 have cubane frameworks, which are constructed from a manganese, three carbons from three acetylide ligands, three lithiums, each coordinated by a donor, plus either a carbon from a further acetylide ligand (2) or an iodide (3). The Mn(II) atom in 4 has an unusual distorted T-shaped geometry while the dimeric 5 features trigonal planar manganese coordination. The chloride substituted complex Li(2)(THF)(3){Ar'MnCl(2)}(2) (7), which has a structure very similar to that of {Li(THF)Ar'MnI(2)}(2), was also prepared for use as a possible starting material. However, its generally lower solubility rendered it less useful than the iodo salt. Complexes 1-7 were characterized by X-ray crystallography and UV-vis spectroscopy. Magnetic studies of 2-4 and 6 showed that they have 3d(5) high-spin configurations.  相似文献

The reaction of [UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)Cl] 2 [Ar 2nacnac = (2,6- (i)Pr 2C 6H 3)NC(Me)CHC(Me)N(2,6- (i)Pr 2C 6H 3)] with Na(RC(O)CHC(O)R) (R = Me, Ph, CF 3) in tetrahydrofuran results in the formation of UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(RC(O)CHC(O)R) (R = Me, 1; Ph, 2; CF 3, 3), which can be isolated in moderate yields. The structures of 1 and 2 have been confirmed by X-ray crystallography, while the solution redox properties of 1- 3 have been measured by cyclic voltammetry. Complexes 1- 3 exhibit reduction features at -1.82, -1.59, and -1.39 V (vs Fc/Fc (+)), respectively, at a scan rate of 100 mV.s (-1). The decrease in the reduction potential follows the electron-withdrawing ability of each beta-diketonate ligand. Chemical reduction of 1 and 2 with Cp* 2Co in toluene yields [Cp* 2Co][UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(RC(O)CHC(O)R)] (R = Me, 4; Ph, 5), while reduction of 3 with Cp 2Co provides [Cp 2Co][UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(CF 3C(O)CHC(O)CF 3)] ( 6). Complexes 4- 6 have been fully characterized, while the solid-state molecular structure of 5 has also been determined. In contrast to the clean reduction that occurs with Cp* 2Co, reduction of 1 with sodium ribbon, followed by cation exchange with [NEt 4]Cl, produces [NEt 4][UO 2(Ar 2nacnac)(H 2CC(O)CH(O)CMe)] ( 7) in modest yield. This product results from the formal loss of H (*) from a methyl group of the acetylacetonate ligand. Alternately, complex 7 can be synthesized by deprotonation of 1 with NaNTMS 2 in good yield.  相似文献

The hydrothermal chemistry of a variety of M(II)SO(4) salts with the tetrazole (Ht) ligands 5,5'-(1,4-phenylene)bis(1H-tetrazole) (H(2)bdt), 5',5'-(1,1'-biphenyl)4,4'-diylbis(1H-tetrazole) (H(2)dbdt) and 5,5',5'-(1,3,5-phenylene)tris(1H-tetrazole) (H(3)btt) was investigated. In the case of Co(II), three phases were isolated, two of which incorporated sulfate: [Co(5)F(2)(dbdt)(4)(H(2)O)(6)]·2H(2)O (1·2H(2)O), [Co(4)(OH)(2)(SO(4))(bdt)(2)(H(2)O)(4)] (2) and [Co(3)(OH)(SO(4))(btt)(H(2)O)(4)]·3H(2)O (3·3H(2)O). The structures are three-dimensional and consist of cluster-based secondary building units: the pentanuclear {Co(5)F(2)(tetrazolate)(8)(H(2)O)(6)}, the tetranuclear {Co(4)(OH)(2)(SO(4))(2)(tetrazolate)(6)}(4-), and the trinuclear {Co(3)(μ(3)-OH)(SO(4))(2) (tetrazolate)(3)}(2-) for 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The Ni(II) analogue [Ni(2)(H(0.67)bdt)(3)]·10.5H(2)O (4·10.5H(2)O) is isomorphous with a fourth cobalt phase, the previously reported [Co(2)(H(0.67)bat)(3)]·20H(2)O and exhibits a {M(tetrazolate)(3/2)}(∞) chain as the fundamental building block. The dense three-dimensional structure of [Zn(bdt)] (5) consists of {ZnN(4)}tetrahedra linked through bdt ligands bonding through N1,N3 donors at either tetrazolate terminus. In contrast to the hydrothermal synthesis of 1-5, the Cd(II) material (Me(2)NH(2))(3)[Cd(12)Cl(3)(btt)(8)(DMF)(12)]·xDMF·yMeOH (DMF = dimethylformamide; x = ca. 12, y = ca. 5) was prepared in DMF/methanol. The structure is constructed from the linking of {Cd(4)Cl(tetrazolate)(8)(DMF)(4)}(1-) secondary building units to produce an open-framework material exhibiting 66.5% void volume. The magnetic properties of the Co(II) series are reflective of the structural building units.  相似文献

Insertion of MeO(2)C-C[triple bond]C-CO(2)Me (DMAD) into the Pd-C bond of the heterodimetallic complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d(dmba-C)] (2) (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2), dmba-C = metallated dimethylbenzylamine) and [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d(8-mq-C,N)] (3) (8-mq-C,N = cyclometallated 8-methylquinoline) yielded the sigma-alkenyl complexes [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(CO(2)Me)=C(CO(2)Me)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2))}] (7) and [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(CO(2)Me)[double bond, length as m-dash]C(CO(2)Me)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N)}] (8), respectively. The latter afforded the adduct [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d{C(CO(2)Me)=C(CO(2)Me)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N)}(CNBu(t))] (9) upon reaction with 1 equiv. of Bu(t)NC. The heterodinuclear sigma-butadienyl complexes [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(Ph=C(Ph)C(CO(2)Me)=(CO(2)Me)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2))}] (11) and [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(Ph)=C(CO(2)Et)C(Ph)=C(CO(2)Et)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N)}] (13) have been obtained by reaction of the metallate K[Fe{Si(OMe)(3)}(CO)(3)(dppm-P)] (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)) with [P[upper bond 1 start]dCl{C(Ph)=C(Ph)C(CO(2)Me)=C(CO(2)Me)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)N[upper bond 1 end]Me(2))}] or [P[upper bond 1 start]dCl{C(Ph)=C(CO(2)Et)C(Ph)=(CO(2)Et)}(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N[upper bond 1 end])], respectively. Monoinsertion of various organic isocyanides RNC into the Pd-C bond of 2 and 3 afforded the corresponding heterometallic iminoacyl complexes. In the case of complexes [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end][upper bond 1 start]d{C=(NR)(CH(2)C(9)H(6)N[upper bond 1 end])}] (15a R = Ph, 15b R = xylyl), a static six-membered C,N chelate is formed at the Pd centre, in contrast to the situation in [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(=NR)(o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2))}] (14a R = o-anisyl, 14b R = 2,6-xylyl) where formation of a mu-eta(2)-Si-O bridge is preferred over NMe(2) coordination. The outcome of the reaction of the dimetallic alkyl complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]dMe] with RNC depends both on the stoichiometry and the electronic donor properties of the isocyanide employed for the migratory insertion process. In the case of o-anisylisocyanide, the iminoacyl complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{C(=N-o-anisyl)Me}] (16) results from the reaction in a 1 : 1 ratio. Addition of three equiv. of o-anisylisocyanide affords the tris(insertion) product [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{[C(=N-o-anisyl)](3)Me}] (18). After addition of a fourth equivalent of o-anisylNC, exclusive formation of the isocyanide adduct [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]e(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d{[C(=N-o-anisyl)](3)Me}(CN-o-anisyl)] (19) was spectroscopically evidenced. In the complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]d{[C(=N-o-C(6)H(4)COCH(2))](2)Me}] (20), the sigma-bound diazabutadienyl unit is part of a 12-membered organic macrocyle which results from bis(insertion) of 1,2-bis(2-isocyanophenoxy)ethane into the Pd-Me bond of the precursor complex [(OC)(3)F[upper bond 1 start]e{mu-Si(OMe)(2)([lower bond 1 start]OMe)}(mu-dppm)P[lower bond 1 end][upper bond 1 end]dMe]. In contrast, addition of two equivalents of tert-butylisocyanide to a solution of the latter afforded [(OC)(3){(MeO)(3)Si}F[upper bond 1 start]Fe(mu-dppm)P[upper bond 1 end]d{C(=NBu(t))Me}(CNBu(t))] (21) in which both a terminal and an inserted isocyanide ligand are coordinated to the Pd centre. In all cases, there was no evidence for competing CO substitution at the Fe(CO)(3) fragment by RNC. The molecular structures of the insertion products 8 x CH(2)Cl(2) and 16 x CH(2)Cl(2) have been determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Treatment of Me(2)S·B(C(6)F(5))(n) H(3-n) (n=1 or 2) with ammonia yields the corresponding adducts. H(3)N·B(C(6)F(5))H(2) dimerises in the solid state through N-H···H-B dihydrogen interactions. The adducts can be deprotonated to give lithium amidoboranes Li[NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(n)H(3-n)]. Reaction of the n=2 reagent with [Cp(2)ZrCl(2)] leads to disubstitution, but [Cp(2)Zr{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)] is in equilibrium with the product of β-hydride elimination [Cp(2)Zr(H){NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}], which proves to be the major isolated solid. The analogous reaction with [Cp(2)HfCl(2)] gives a mixture of [Cp(2)Hf{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)] and the N-H activation product [Cp(2)Hf{NHB(C(6)F(5 )(2)H}]. [Cp(2)Zr{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)]·PhMe and [Cp(2)Hf{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)]·4(thf) exhibit β-B-agostic chelate bonding of one of the two amidoborane ligands in the solid state. The agostic hydride is invariably coordinated to the outside of the metallocene wedge. Exceptionally, [Cp(2)Hf{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}(2)]?PhMe has a structure in which the two amidoborane ligands adopt an intermediate coordination mode, in which neither is definitively agostic. [Cp(2)Hf{NHB(C(6)F(5))(2)H}] has a formally dianionic imidoborane ligand chelating through an agostic interaction, but the bond-length distribution suggests a contribution from a zwitterionic amidoborane resonance structure. Treatment of the zwitterions [Cp(2)MMe(μ-Me)B(C(6)F(5))(3)] (M=Zr, Hf) with Li[NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(n)H(3-n)] (n=2) results in [Cp(2) MMe{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)H}] complexes, for which the spectroscopic data, particularly (1)J(B,H), again suggest β-B-agostic interactions. The reactions proceed similarly for the structurally encumbered [Cp'(2)ZrMe(μ-Me)B(C(6)F(5))(3)] precursor (Cp'=1,3-C(5)H(3)(SiMe(3))(2) , n=1 or 2) to give [Cp'(2)ZrMe{NH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(n)H(3-n)}], both of which have been structurally characterised and show chelating, agostic amidoborane coordination. In contrast, the analogous hafnium chemistry leads to the recovery of [Cp'(2)HfMe(2)] and the formation of Li[HB(C(6)F(5))(3)] through hydride abstraction.  相似文献

Activation of
Reversible C(6)F(5) transfer takes place between the boron centers in the anion formed by methide abstraction from [MeZr{N(SiMe(3))(2)}(3)] or [Cp(2)ZrMe(2)] (L(n)M-CH(3) in the reaction scheme) by the perfluorinated diborane 1. The solution chemistry of the metallocenium ion pairs formed from 1 and [Cp(2)ZrMe(2)] is correlated with the observed ethylene polymerization behavior of 1 in comparison to the monoborane B(C(6)F(5))(3), the related diborane 1,2-C(6)H(4)[B(C(6)F(5))(2)](2), and the 9,10-diboraanthracene compound 9,10-(C(6)F(5))(2)C(12)B(2)F(8).  相似文献
