The direct electrochemistry of glucose oxidase (GOD) was revealed at a carbon nanotube (CNT)‐modified glassy carbon electrode, where the enzyme was immobilized with a chitosan film containing gold nanoparticles. The immobilized GOD displays a pair of redox peaks in pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solutions (PBS) with the formal potential of about ?455 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl) and shows a surface‐controlled electrode process. Bioactivity remains good, along with effective catalysis of the reduction of oxygen. In the presence of dissolved oxygen, the reduction peak current decreased gradually with the addition of glucose, which could be used for reagentless detection of glucose with a linear range from 0.04 to 1.0 mM. The proposed glucose biosensor exhibited high sensitivity, good stability and reproducibility, and was also insensitive to common interferences such as ascorbic and uric acid. The excellent performance of the reagentless biosensor is attributed to the effective enhancement of electron transfer between enzyme and electrode surface by CNTs, and the biocompatible environment that the chitosan film containing gold nanoparticles provides for immobilized GOD.  相似文献

An ionic liquid (i.e., 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate, BMIMPF6)‐single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) gel modified glassy carbon electrode (BMIMPF6‐SWNT/GCE) is fabricated. At it the voltammetric behavior and determination of p‐nitroaniline (PNA) is explored. PNA can exhibit a sensitive cathodic peak at ?0.70 V (vs. SCE) in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution on the electrode, resulting from the irreversible reduction of PNA. Under the optimized conditions, the peak current is linear to PNA concentration over the range of 1.0×10?8–7.0×10?6 M, and the detection limit is 8.0×10?9 M. The electrode can be regenerated by successive potential scan in a blank solution for about 5 times and exhibits good reproducibility. Meanwhile, the feasibility to determine other nitroaromatic compounds (NACs) with the modified electrode is also tested. It is found that the NACs studied (i.e., p‐nitroaniline, p‐nitrophenol, o‐nitrophenol, m‐nitrophenol, p‐nitrobenzoic acid, and nitrobenzene) can all cause sensitive cathodic peaks under the conditions, but their peak potentials and peak currents are different to some extent. Their peak currents and concentrations show linear relationships in concentration ranges with about 3 orders of magnitude. The detection limits are 8.0×10?9 M for p‐nitroaniline, 2.0×10?9 M for p‐nitrophenol, 5.0×10?9 M for o‐nitrophenol, 5.0×10?9 M for m‐nitrophenol, 2.0×10?8 M for p‐nitrobenzoic acid and 8.0×10?9 M for nitrobenzene respectively. The BMIMPF6‐SWNT/GCE is applied to the determination of NACs in lake water.  相似文献

A carbon‐coated iron nanoparticles (CIN, a new style fullerence related nanomaterial) modified glassy carbon electrode (CIN/GCE) has been developed for the determination of uric acid (UA). Electrochemical behaviors of UA on CIN/GCE were explored by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). It was found that the voltammetric response of UA on CIN/GC was enhanced dramatically because of the strong accumulation effect of CIN and the large working area of the CIN/GC electrode. The parameters including the pH of supporting electrolyte, accumulation potential and time, that govern the analytical performance of UA have been studied and optimized. The DPV signal of UA on CIN/GCE increased linearly with its concentration in the range from 5.0×10?7 to 2.0×10?5 M, with a detection limit of 1.5×10?7 M (S/N=3). The CIN/GCE was used for the determination of UA in samples with satisfactory results. The proposed CIN/GCE electrochemical sensing platform holds great promise for simple, rapid, and accurate detection of UA.  相似文献

Chemical functionalization of single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) has constructed plenty of new structures with useful properties. But the modification was often confined to organic molecules, either by covalence or noncovalence. In this report, SWNTs were successfully functionalized with one kind of electroactive inorganic compounds: chromium hexacyanoferrate (Cr hcf). The resulting Cr hcf/SWNTs nanocomposites were confirmed by Field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV‐vis absorption spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Cr hcf crystallites are observed to be finely attached to the SWNTs. The electrochemical properties of Cr hcf/SWNTs nanocomposites were also investigated. The nanocomposites modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode shows high electrocatalytic activity towards the reduction of H2O2 and the amperometric responses show a linear dependence on the concentration of H2O2 in a range of 0.5 μM to 10 mM (R=0.9989). In addition, the sensor has good stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

Single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) and room temperature ionic liquid (i.e., 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexaflourophosphate, BMIMPF6) were used to fabricate paste modified glassy electrode (GCE). It was found that the electrode showed sensitive voltammetric response to xanthine (Xt). The detection limit was 2.0×10?9 M and the linear range was 5.0×10?9 to 5.0×10?6 M. The electrode also displayed good selectivity and repeatability. In the presence of uric acid (UA) and hypoxanthine (Hx) the response of Xt kept almost unchanged. Thus this electrode could find application in the determination of Xt in some real samples. The analytical performance of the BMIMPF6‐SWNT/GCE was demonstrated for the determination of Xt in human serum and urine samples.  相似文献

C‐reactive protein (CRP) is a nonspecific biomarker of inflammation and infection that can be used as a predictive risk marker of cardiovascular disease in asymptomatic individuals or as a prognostic marker of recurrent ischemia and death among patients with coronary heart disease or stroke. We developed a sensitive, disposable, and easy to operate sensor based on heterogeneous sandwich immunoassay for high sensitivity CRP (hs‐CRP) measurement. We used screen‐printed electrodes modified with multi‐walled carbon nanotubes and protein A to ensure the oriented immobilization of anti‐CRP antibodies. CRP was quantitatively measured down to a concentration of 0.5 ng mL?1, enabling high dilution of the samples before measurement and consequently reducing interferences present in the serum. The sensor developed is suitable for point of care detection of hs‐CRP at clinically relevant concentrations for the diagnosis of both conventional and low‐grade inflammations.  相似文献

Direct electrochemistry of catalase (Ct) has been studied on single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode. A pair of well-defined nearly reversible redox peaks is given at -0.48 V (vs. SCE) in 0.1 mol/L phosphate solution (pH 7.0).The peak current in cyclic voltammogram is proportional to the scan rate. The peak potential of catalase is shifted to more negative value when the pH increases. Catalase can adsorb on the SWNTs modified electrode.  相似文献

Glucose oxidase showed direct electrochemical transfer at glassy carbon electrodes immobilized with carbon nanotube‐gold colloid (CNT‐Au) composites with poly(diallydimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) coatings. The modified electrode (GC/CNT/Au/PDDA‐GOD) was employed for the amperometric determination of glucose. Under optimal conditions, the biosensor displayed linear response to glucose from 0.5 to 5 mM with a sensitivity of 2.50 mA M?1 at an applied potential of ?0.3 V (vs. Ag|AgCl reference).  相似文献

Electrochemical detection of quercetin has been carried out on glassy carbon electrodes modified with carbon nanotubes and Nafion (GC/Nafion‐CNT). GC/Nafion‐CNT electrodes did not show passivation effect that occurs on the unmodified electrodes and displayed better stability and reproducibility. Quercetin oxidation was most favorable in acidic conditions and current gradually decreased as the solution pH increased. No oxidation was observed when two ? OH groups in a catechol moiety were fully deprotonated. These electrodes enabled selective determination of quercetin in the presence of interfering species such as ascorbic acid, uric acid, glucose, and catechol in large excess. Quantification of quercetin in a yellow onion has been made and favorably compared with reported values. Good selectivity and high sensitivity obtained by Osteryoung sSquare‐wave voltammetry can open new possibilities of direct quercetin determination in vegetables with a minimal sample treatment.  相似文献

Different carbonaceous materials, such as single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and glassy carbon submitted to an electrochemical activation at +1.80 V (vs. SCE) for 900 s, have been used with the aim of comparing their performances in the development of enzyme electrodes. Commercial SWCNTs have been pretreated with 2.2 M HNO3 for 20 h prior to use. The utility of activated GC as promising material for amperometric oxidase‐based biosensors has been confirmed. With glucose oxidase (GOx) as a model enzyme, glucose was efficiently detected up to 1 mM without the use of a mediator. Both electrodes operated in stirred solutions of 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 5.5), containing dissolved oxygen, at a potential of ?0.40 V vs. SCE. Although the performances of the two carbonaceous materials were comparable, the biosensors based on activated GC were characterized by a practically unchanged response 40 days after the fabrication, a better signal to noise ratio, and a little worse sensitivity. In addition, the preparation procedure of such biosensors was more simple, rapid and reproducible.  相似文献

Single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) deposits on glassy carbon and pyrolytic graphite electrodes have dramatically enhanced the direct electron transfer of the multihemic nitrite reductase from Desulfovibrio desulfuricans ATCC 27774, enabling a 10‐fold increase in catalytic currents. At optimal conditions, the sensitivity to nitrite and the maximum current density were 2.4±0.1 A L mol?1 cm?2 and 1500 µA cm?2, respectively. Since the biosensor performance decreased over time, laponite clay and electropolymerized amphiphilic pyrrole were tested as protecting layers. Both coating materials increased substantially the bioelectrode stability, which kept about 90 % and 60 % of its initial sensitivity to nitrite after 20 and 248 days, respectively.  相似文献

A gold surface modified with a self‐assembled monolayer of 11‐amino‐1‐undecanethiol (AUT) was used for the covalent immobilization of oxidized single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). The as‐described SWNTs‐modified substrate was subsequently used to attach single‐stranded deoxyribonucleic acid (ssDNA) used as a substrate for DNA hybridization. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements were performed to follow the DNA hybridization process by using the redox couple [Fe(CN)6]3−/4− as a marker ion. Specifically, changes in charge transfer resistance obtained from the Nyquist plots were used as the sensing parameter of DNA hybridization. The substrate sensitivity towards changes in target DNA concentration, its selectivity toward different DNA sequences and its reusability are successfully demonstrated in this report.  相似文献

The incorporation of carbon nanotubes to a Nafion/tetraruthenated cobalt porphyrin/ glassy carbon electrode (GC/Nf/CoTRP vs GC/Nf/CNTCoTRP) enhanced the amperometric determination of hydrogen peroxide. Both electrodes produced a decrease in the overpotential required for the hydrogen peroxide oxidation in about 100 mV compared to glassy carbon under the same experimental conditions. Nevertheless, for GC/Nf/CNT/CoTRP, the increase in the current is remarkable. The GC/Nf/CoTRP modified electrode gave no significant analitycal signal for hydrogen peroxide reduction. Moreover, a great increase in current is observed with GC/Nf/CNT/CoTRP at ?150mV which suggests a significant increase in the sensitivity of the modified electrode. Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) revealed an enhancement in the electroactivity of the GC/Nf/CNT/CoTRP modified electrode. This fact has been explained in terms of enhanced homogeneity of the electrodic surface as a consecuence of better dispersibility of CNT‐CoTRP produced by a Nafion polyelectrolyte.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of aloe‐emodin (AE), an important herbal antitumor drug, was investigated at a carbon‐coated nickel magnetic nanoparticles modified glassy carbon electrode (CNN/GCE). A couple of well‐defined redox peaks was obtained. Some electrochemical parameters of AE at a CNN/GCE, such as the charge number, exchange current density, standard heterogeneous rate constant, were measured. The square wave voltammetry (SWV) response of AE was linear with the concentration over two concentration intervals viz. 6.24×10?9?1.13×10?6 M and 1.13×10?6?1.23×10?5 M, with a detection limit of 2.08 nM. A fast, simple and sensitive detection and analysis of AE was developed.  相似文献

The electroanalytical performance of bare glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) for the determination of 1‐aminonaphthalene (1‐AN) and 2‐aminonaphthalene (2‐AN) was compared with GCE modified by a Nafion permselective membrane or multiwalled carbon nanotubes and with other types of carbon‐based materials, carbon film and boron doped diamond. Nafion‐modified GCE gave the highest sensitivity and lowest detection limit (0.4 µmol L?1) for differential pulse voltammetric determination of 1‐AN. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy gave information about the processes at the electrode surface. Simultaneous determination of 1‐AN and 2‐AN in a mixture at GCE and their determination in model samples of river water is presented.  相似文献

In this article we report on the fabrication of a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) by using a room temperature ionic liquid of 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIMPF6) as binder. It was further modified by single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) to get a SWCNTs modified CILE denoted as SWCNTs/CILE. The redox protein of hemoglobin (Hb) was further immobilized on the surface of SWCNTs/CILE with the help of Nafion film. UV‐vis and FT‐IR spectra indicated that the immobilized Hb retained its native conformation in the composite film. The direct electrochemistry of Hb on the SWCNTs/CILE was carefully studied in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution (PBS). Cyclic voltammetric results indicated that a pair of well‐defined and quasireversible voltammetric peaks of Hb heme Fe(III)/Fe(II) was obtained with the formal potential (E°') at ?0.306 V (vs. SCE). The electrochemical parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient (α), the electron transfer number (n) and the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (ks) were calculated as 0.34, 0.989 and 0.538 s?1, respectively. The fabricated Hb modified electrode showed good electrocatalytic ability to the reduction of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) in the concentration range from 20.0 to 150.0 mmol/L with the detection limit of 10.0 mmol/L (3σ).  相似文献

This work reports the highly sensitive detection of quercetin using glassy carbon electrodes modified with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) dispersed in polyethylenimine and poly(acrylic acid). The adsorptive stripping with square wave voltammetric transduction allowed the detection of 7.5 nM quercetin after 1.0 min accumulation at open circuit potential. The amperometric detection at 0.150 V is reported as an easier and simpler alternative to determine quercetin, with detection limits of 0.2 µM. The careful selection of the working conditions also made possible the detection of submicromolar levels of quercetin in the presence of excess of rutin. The proposed methodology was successfully used to quantify quercetin in onion samples.  相似文献

An electrochemical aptasensor with a thrombin binding aptamer (TBA) was developed using a single‐wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) casted GCE. The TBA was immobilized on SWCNTs through π‐stacking without any special modification, resulting in helical wrapping to the surface. In the presence of thrombin, the TBA binds with thrombin and the TBA concentration on the SWCNT surface decreases. The remaining amount of TBA can be analyzed by an electrochemical method without any label, because the guanine bases of the nucleic acid are measurable by electrochemical methods. The electrochemical oxidation of guanine nucleotides was enhanced by electrocatalytic mediation using Ru(bpy)32+ for higher sensitivity and reduction of the overpotential for electrochemical detection.  相似文献

We report a dopamine electrochemical sensor based on the modification of glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) with polylysine‐functionalized single‐wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNT‐PLys). The resulting electrodes (GCE/SWCNT‐PLys) showed a significant improvement in the electrooxidation of dopamine with drastic decrease in the peak potentials separation and important enhancement in the associated currents. Dopamine was detected by differential pulse voltammetry‐adsorptive stripping with medium exchange at nanomolar levels even in the presence of high excess of ascorbic and uric acids. The sensor was successfully used for the quantification of dopamine in urine samples enriched with the neurotransmitter.  相似文献

A novel matrix based on commercially available carbon black (CB) N220 and didodecyldimethyl ammonium bromide (DDAB) was shown to be a reliable support for direct electron transfer reactions between screen printed electrode (SPE) and Fe(III)‐heme proteins. Cytochrome c (cyt c), myoglobin (Mb), horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and cytochromes P450 (CYP 51A1, CYP 3A4, CYP 2B4) generated well‐shaped cyclic voltammograms on SPE/CB/DDAB electrodes (both in solution and in immobilized state). The attractive performance characteristics of CB modified electrodes are advantageous over single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SW CNT) based ones. The achieved direct electrochemistry of heme proteins on CB/DDAB‐modified electrodes provided successful elaboration of the immunosensor for cardiac Mb. The immunosensor showed applicability for diagnostics of myocardial infarction displaying significant difference in cardiac Mb content of human blood plasma samples taken from the corresponding patients.  相似文献
