Ligand L was synthesized and then coordinated to [Ln(hfac)3] ? 2 H2O (LnIII=Tb, Dy, Er; hfac?=1,1,1,5,5,5‐hexafluoroacetylacetonate anion) and [Ln(tta)3]?2 H2O (LnIII=Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Er, Yb; tta?=2‐thenoyltrifluoroacetonate) to give two families of dinuclear complexes [Ln2(hfac)6( L )] ? C6H14 and [Ln2(tta)6( L )] ? 2 CH2Cl2. Irradiation of the ligand at 37 040 cm?1 and 29 410 cm?1 leads to tetrathiafulvalene‐centered and 2,6‐di(pyrazol‐1‐yl)‐4‐pyridine‐centered fluorescence, respectively. The ligand acts as an organic chromophore for the sensitization of the infrared ErIII (6535 cm?1) and YbIII (10 200 cm?1) luminescence. The energies of the singlet and triplet states of L are high enough to guarantee an efficient sensitization of the visible EuIII luminescence (17 300–14 100 cm?1). The EuIII luminescence decay can be nicely fitted by a monoexponential function that allows a lifetime estimation of (0.49±0.01) ms. Finally, the magnetic and luminescence properties of [Yb2(hfac)6( L )] ? C6H14 were correlated, which allowed the determination of the crystal field splitting of the 2F7/2 multiplet state with MJ=±1/2 as ground states.  相似文献

A series of 12 dinuclear complexes [Ln2Cl6(μ‐4,4′‐bipy)(py)6], Ln=Y, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, ( 1 – 12 , respectively) was synthesized by an anhydrous solvothermal reaction in pyridine. The complexes contain a 4,4′‐bipyridine bridge and exhibit a coordination sphere closely related to luminescent lanthanide MOFs based on LnCl3 and 4,4‐bipyridine. The dinuclear complexes therefore function as a molecular model system to provide a better understanding of the luminescence mechanisms in the Ln‐N‐MOFs ${\hbox{}{{\hfill 2\atop \hfill \infty }}}$ [Ln2Cl6(4,4′‐bipy)3] ? 2(4,4′‐bipy). Accordingly, the luminescence properties of the complexes with Ln=Y, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, ( 1 , 4 – 8 ) were determined, showing an antenna effect through a ligand–metal energy transfer. The highest efficiency of luminescence is observed for the terbium‐based compound 7 displaying a high quantum yield (QY of 86 %). Excitation with UV light reveals typical emission colors of lanthanide‐dependent intra 4f–4f‐transition emissions in the visible range (TbIII: green, EuIII: red, SmIII: salmon red, DyIII: yellow). For the GdIII‐ and YIII‐containing compounds 6 and 1 , blue emission based on triplet phosphorescence is observed. Furthermore, ligand‐to‐metal charge‐transfer (LMCT) states, based on the interaction of Cl? with EuIII, were observed for the EuIII compound 5 including energy‐transfer processes to the EuIII ion. Altogether, the model complexes give further insights into the luminescence of the related MOFs, for example, rationalization of Ln‐independent quantum yields in the related MOFs.  相似文献

The bis‐tetrazolate‐pyridine ligand H2pytz sensitises efficiently the visible and/or near‐IR luminescence emission of ten lanthanide cations (Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb). The LnIII complexes present sizeable quantum yields in both domains with a single excitation source. The wide range of possible colour combinations in water, organic solvents and the solid state makes the complexes very attractive for labelling and encoding.  相似文献

The synthesis of the C2‐symmetrical ligand 1 consisting of two naphthalene units connected to two pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxamide moieties linked by a xylene spacer and the formation of LnIII‐based (Ln=Sm, Eu, Tb, and Lu) dimetallic helicates [Ln2? 1 3] in MeCN by means of a metal‐directed synthesis is described. By analyzing the metal‐induced changes in the absorption and the fluorescence of 1 , the formation of the helicates, and the presence of a second species [Ln2? 1 2] was confirmed by nonlinear‐regression analysis. While significant changes were observed in the photophysical properties of 1 , the most dramatic changes were observed in the metal‐centred lanthanide emissions, upon excitation of the naphthalene antennae. From the changes in the lanthanide emission, we were able to demonstrate that these helicates were formed in high yields (ca. 90% after the addition of 0.6 equiv. of LnIII), with high binding constants, which matched well with that determined from the changes in the absorption spectra. The formation of the LuIII helicate, [Lu2? 1 3], was also investigated for comparison purposes, as we were unable to obtain accurate binding constants from the changes in the fluorescence emission upon formation of [Sm2? 1 3], [Eu2? 1 3], and [Tb2? 1 3].  相似文献

Employing nitronyl nitroxide lanthanide(III) complexes as metallo‐ligands allowed the efficient and highly selective preparation of three series of unprecedented hetero‐tri‐spin (Cu?Ln‐radical) one‐dimensional compounds. These 2p–3d–4f spin systems, namely [Ln3Cu(hfac)11(NitPhOAll)4] (LnIII=Gd 1Gd , Tb 1Tb , Dy 1Dy ; NitPhOAll=2‐(4′‐allyloxyphenyl)‐4,4,5,5‐tetramethylimidazoline‐1‐oxyl‐3‐oxide), [Ln3Cu(hfac)11(NitPhOPr)4] (LnIII=Gd 2Gd , Tb 2Tb , Dy 2Dy , Ho 2Ho , Yb 2Yb ; NitPhOPr=2‐(4′‐propoxyphenyl)‐4,4,5,5‐tetramethyl‐imidazoline‐1‐oxyl‐3‐oxide) and [Ln3Cu(hfac)11(NitPhOBz)4] (LnIII=Gd 3Gd , Tb 3Tb , Dy 3Dy ; NitPhOBz=2‐(4′‐benzyloxyphenyl)‐4,4,5,5‐tetramethyl‐imidazoline‐1‐oxyl‐3‐oxide) involve O‐bound nitronyl nitroxide radicals as bridging ligands in chain structures with a [Cu‐Nit‐Ln‐Nit‐Ln‐Nit‐Ln‐Nit] repeating unit. The dc magnetic studies show that ferromagnetic metal–radical interactions take place in these hetero‐tri‐spin chain complexes, these and the next‐neighbor interactions have been quantified for the Gd derivatives. Complexes 1Tb and 2Tb exhibit frequency dependence of ac magnetic susceptibilities, indicating single‐chain magnet behavior.  相似文献

A novel series of double‐decker lanthanide(III) bis(phthalocyaninato)–C60 dyads [LnIII(Pc)(Pc′)]–C60 (M=Sm, Eu, Lu; Pc=phthalocyanine) ( 1 a – c ) have been synthesized from unsymmetrically functionalized heteroleptic sandwich complexes [LnIII(Pc)(Pc′)] (Ln=Sm, Eu, Lu) 3 a – c and fulleropyrrolidine carboxylic acid 2 . The sandwich complexes 3 a – c were obtained by means of a stepwise procedure from unsymmetrically substituted free‐base phthalocyanine 5 , which was first transformed into the monophthalocyaninato intermediate [LnIII(acac)(Pc)] and further reacted with 1,2‐dicyanobenzene in the presence of 1,8‐diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec‐7‐ene (DBU). 1H NMR spectra of the bis(phthalocyaninato) complexes 3 a – c and dyads 1 a – c were obtained by adding hydrazine hydrate to solutions of the complexes in [D7]DMF, a treatment that converts the free radical double‐deckers into the protonated species, that is, [LnIII(Pc)(Pc′)H] and [LnIII(Pc)(Pc′)H]–C60. The electronic absorption spectra of 3 a – c and 1 a – c in THF exhibit typical transitions of free‐radical sandwich complexes. In the case of dyads 1 a – c , the spectra display the absorption bands of both constituents, but no evidence of ground‐state interactions could be appreciated. When the UV/Vis spectra of 3 a – c and 1 a – c were recorded in DMF, typical features of the reduced forms were observed. Cyclic voltammetry studies for 3 a – c and 1 a – c were performed in THF. The electrochemical behavior of dyads 1 a – c is almost the exact sum of the behavior of the components, namely the double‐decker [LnIII(Pc)(Pc′)] and the C60 fullerene, thus confirming the lack of ground‐state interactions between the electroactive units. Photophysical studies on dyads 1 a – c indicate that only after irradiation at 387 nm, which excites both C60 and [LnIII(Pc)(Pc′)] components, a photoinduced electron transfer from the [LnIII(Pc)(Pc′)] to C60 occurs.  相似文献

Three series of copper–lanthanide/lanthanide coordination polymers (CPs) LnIIICuIICuI(bct)3(H2O)2 [Ln=La ( 1 ), Ce ( 2 ), Pr ( 3 ), Nd ( 4 ), Sm ( 5 ), Eu ( 6 ), Gd ( 7 ), Tb ( 8 ), Dy ( 9 ), Er ( 10 ), Yb ( 11 ), and Lu ( 12 ), H2bct=2,5‐bis(carboxymethylmercapto)‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole acid], LnIIICuI(bct)2 [Ln=Ce ( 2 a ), Pr ( 3 a ), Nd ( 4 a ), Sm ( 5 a ), Eu ( 6 a ), Gd ( 7 a ), Tb ( 8 a ), Dy ( 9 a ), Er ( 10 a ), Yb ( 11 a ), and Lu ( 12 a )], and LnIII2(bct)3(H2O)5 [Ln=La ( 1 b ), Ce ( 2 b ), Pr ( 3 b ), Nd ( 4 b ), Sm ( 5 b ), Eu ( 6 b ), Gd ( 7 b ), Tb ( 8 b ), and Dy ( 9 b )] have been successfully constructed under hydrothermal conditions by modulating the reaction time. Structural characterization has revealed that CPs 1 – 12 possess a unique one‐dimensional (1D) strip‐shaped structure containing two types of double‐helical chains and a double‐helical channel. CPs 2 a – 12 a show a three‐dimensional (3D) framework formed by CuI linking two types of homochiral layers with double‐helical channels. CPs 1 b – 9 b exhibit a 3D framework with single‐helical channels. CPs 6 b and 8 b display visible red and green luminescence of the EuIII and TbIII ions, respectively, sensitized by the bct ligand, and microsecond‐level lifetimes. CP 8 b shows a rare magnetic transition between short‐range ferromagnetic ordering at 110 K and long‐range ferromagnetic ordering below 10 K. CPs 9 a and 9 b display field‐induced single‐chain magnet (SCM) and/or single‐molecule magnet (SMM) behaviors, with Ueff values of 51.7 and 36.5 K, respectively.  相似文献

The tetrathiafulvalene‐amido‐2‐pyridine‐N‐oxide ( L ) ligand has been employed to coordinate 4f elements. The architecture of the complexes mainly depends on the ionic radii of the lanthanides. Thus, the reaction of L in the same experimental protocol leads to three different molecular structure series. Binuclear [Ln2(hfac)5(O2CPhCl)( L )3] ? 2 H2O (hfac?=1,1,1,5,5,5‐hexafluoroacetylacetonate anion, O2CPhCl?=3‐chlorobenzoate anion) and mononuclear [Ln(hfac)3( L )2] complexes were obtained by using rare‐earth ions with either large (LnIII=Pr, Gd) or small (LnIII=Y, Yb) ionic radius, respectively, whereas the use of TbIII that possesses an intermediate ionic radius led to the formation of a binuclear complex of formula [Tb2(hfac)4(O2CPhCl)2( L )2]. Antiferromagnetic interactions have been observed in the three dinuclear compounds by using an extended empirical method. Photophysical properties of the coordination complexes have been studied by solid‐state absorption spectroscopy, whereas time‐dependent density functional theory (TD‐DFT) calculations have been carried out on the diamagnetic YIII derivative to build a molecular orbital diagram and to reproduce the absorption spectrum. For the [Yb(hfac)3( L )2] complex, the excitation at 19 600 cm?1 of the HOMO→LUMO+1/LUMO+2 charge‐transfer transition induces both line‐shape emissions in the near‐IR spectral range assigned to the 2F5/22F7/2 (9860 cm?1) ytterbium‐centered transition and a residual charge‐transfer emission around 13 150 cm?1. An efficient antenna effect that proceeds through energy transfer from the singlet excited state of the tetrathiafulvalene‐amido‐2‐pyridine‐N‐oxide chromophore is evidence of the YbIII sensitization.  相似文献

Ligand L, based on two do3a moieties linked by the methylene groups of 6,6′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine, was synthesized and characterized. The addition of Ln salts to an aqueous solution of L (0.01 M Tris‐HCl, pH 7.4) led to the successive formation of [LnL] and [Ln2L] complexes, as evidenced by UV/Vis and fluorescence titration experiments. Homodinuclear [Ln2L] complexes (Ln=Eu, Gd, Tb, Yb, and Lu) were prepared and characterized. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the Lu and Yb complexes in D2O solution (pD=7.0) showed C1 symmetry of these species in solution, pointing to two different chemical environments for the two lanthanide cations. The analysis of the chemical shifts of the Yb complex indicated that the two coordination sites present square antiprismatic (SAP) coordination environments around the metal ions. The spectroscopic properties of the [Tb2L] complex upon ligand excitation revealed conventional behavior with τH2O=2.05(1) ms and ?H2O=51 %, except for the calculation of the hydration number obtained from the luminescent lifetimes in H2O and D2O, which pointed to a non‐integer value of 0.6 water molecules per TbIII ion. In contrast, the Eu complex revealed surprising features such as: 1) the presence of two and up to five components in the 5D07F0 and 5D07F1 emission bands, respectively; 2) marked differences between the normalized spectra obtained in H2O and D2O solutions; and 3) unconventional temporal evolution of the luminescence intensity at certain wavelengths, the intensity profile first displaying a rising step before the occurrence of the expected decay. Additional spectroscopic experiments performed on [Gd2?xEuxL] complexes (x=0.1 and 1.9) confirmed the presence of two distinct Eu sites with hydration numbers of 0 (site I) and 2 (site II), and showed that the unconventional temporal evolution of the emission intensity is the result of an unprecedented intramolecular Eu‐to‐Eu energy‐transfer process. A mathematical model was developed to interpret the experimental data, leading to energy‐transfer rates of 0.98 ms?1 for the transfer from the site with q=0 to that with q=2 and vice versa. Hartree–Fock (HF) and density functional theory (DFT) calculations performed at the B3LYP level were used to investigate the conformation of the complex in solution, and to estimate the intermetallic distance, which provided Förster radii (R0) values of 8.1 Å for the energy transfer from site I to site II, and 6.8 Å for the reverse energy transfer. These results represent the first evidence of an intramolecular energy‐transfer equilibrium between two identical lanthanide cations within a discrete molecular complex in solution.  相似文献

A series of heterometallic carboxylate 1D polymers of the general formula [LnIIICd2(piv)7(H2O)2]n·nMeCN (LnIII = Sm (1), Eu (2), Tb (3), Dy (4), Ho (5), Er (6), Yb (7); piv = anion of trimethylacetic acid) was synthesized and structurally characterized. The use of CdII instead of ZnII under similar synthetic conditions resulted in the formation of 1D polymers, in contrast to molecular trinuclear complexes with LnIIIZn2 cores. All complexes 1–7 are isostructural. The luminescent emission and excitation spectra for 2–4 have been studied, the luminescence decay kinetics for 2 and 3 was measured. Magnetic properties of the complexes 3–5 and 7 have been studied; 4 and 7 exhibited the properties of field-induced single-molecule magnets in an applied external magnetic field. Magnetic properties of 4 and 7 were modelled using results of SA-CASSCF/SO-RASSI calculations and SINGLE_ANISO procedure. Based on the analysis of the magnetization relaxation and the results of ab initio calculations, it was found that relaxation in 4 predominantly occurred by the sum of the Raman and QTM mechanisms, and by the sum of the direct and Raman mechanisms in the case of 7.  相似文献

Two macrobicyclic ligands derived from an 18‐membered tetralactam ring and 2,2′‐bipyridine or 2,6‐bis(pyrazol‐1‐yl)pyridine moieties, 1 and 2 , respectively, form stable complexes with GdIII, EuIII, and TbIII ions in aqueous solution. The ligand‐based luminescence is retained in the GdIII cryptates, whereas this radiative deactivation is quenched in the EuIII and TbIII cryptates by ligand‐to‐metal energy transfer, resulting in the usual metal‐centered emission spectra. Singlet‐ and triplet‐state energies, emission‐decay lifetimes, and luminescence yields were measured. [Tb⊂ 1 ]3+ cryptate shows a long luminescence lifetime (τ=1.12 ms) and a very high metal luminescence quantum yield (Φ=0.25) in comparison with those reported in the literature for Tb3+ complexes sensitized by a bipyridine chromophore. By comparison to [Ln⊂ 1 ]3+, [Ln⊂ 2 ]3+ presents markedly lower luminescence properties, due to worse interaction between the 2,6‐bis(pyrazol‐1‐yl)pyridine unit and the metal ion. Moreover, the luminescent metal and the triplet ligand energy levels of [Eu⊂ 2 ]3+ do not match. The effects of H2O molecules coordinated to the metal centre and of thermally activated decay processes on nonradiative deactivation to the ground‐state are also reported.  相似文献

Trends in lanthanide(III) (LnIII) coordination were investigated within nanoconfined solvation environments. LnIII ions were incorporated into the cores of reverse micelles (RMs) formed with malonamide amphiphiles in n‐heptane by contact with aqueous phases containing nitrate and LnIII; both insert into pre‐organized RM units built up of DMDOHEMA (N,N′‐dimethyl‐N,N′‐dioctylhexylethoxymalonamide) that are either relatively large and hydrated or small and dry, depending on whether the organic phase is acidic or neutral, respectively. Structural aspects of the LnIII complex formation and the RM morphology were obtained by use of XAS (X‐ray absorption spectroscopy) and SAXS (small‐angle X‐ray scattering). The LnIII coordination environments were determined through use of L3‐edge XANES (X‐ray absorption near edge structure) and EXAFS (extended X‐ray absorption fine structure), which provide metrical insights into the chemistry across the period. Hydration numbers for the Eu species were measured using TRLIFS (time‐resolved laser‐induced fluorescence spectroscopy). The picture that emerges from a system‐wide perspective of the Ln? O interatomic distances and number of coordinating oxygen atoms for the extracted complexes of LnIII in the first half of the series (i.e., Nd, Eu) is that they are different from those in the second half of the series (i.e., Tb, Yb): the number of coordinating oxygen atoms decrease from 9 O for early lanthanides to 8 O for the late ones—a trend that is consistent with the effect of the lanthanide contraction. The environment within the RM, altered by either the presence or absence of acid, also had a pronounced influence on the nitrate coordination mode; for example, the larger, more hydrated, acidic RM core favors monodentate coordination, whereas the small, dry, neutral core favors bidentate coordination to LnIII. These findings show that the coordination chemistry of lanthanides within nanoconfined environments is neither equivalent to the solid nor bulk solution behaviors. Herein we address atomic‐ and mesoscale phenomena in the under‐explored field of lanthanide coordination and periodic behavior within RMs, providing a consilience of fundamental insights into the chemistry of growing importance in technologies as diverse as nanosynthesis and separations science.  相似文献

The salen‐type ligand H2L [H2L = N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)‐1,2‐cyclohexanediamine] was utilized for the synthesis of two lanthanide(III) coordination polymers [LnH2L(NO3)3MeOH]n [Ln = Eu ( 1 ) and Ln = Lu ( 2 )]. The single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses of 1 and 2 revealed that they are isomorphous and exhibit one‐dimension neutral structure, in which H2L effectively functions as a bridging ligand and give rise to a chain‐like polymer. The luminescent properties of polymers in solid state and in solution were investigated and 1 exhibits typical red luminescence of EuIII ions in solid state and dichloromethane solution and 2 emits the ligand‐centered blue luminescence. The energy transfer mechanisms in these luminescent lanthanide polymers were described through calculation of the lowest triplet level of ligand H2L.  相似文献

Solvothermal combination of trivalent lanthanide metal precursors with 1, 2, 4, 5‐cyclohexanetetracarboxylic acid (L) ligand has afforded the preparation of a family of eight new coordination polymers [Ln4(L)3(H2O)10] · 7H2O (Ln = Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb) ( 1 – 8 ). Structural analyses reveal that the 1, 2, 4, 5‐cyclohexanetetracarboxylic acid ligand with e,a,a,e (LI) conformation displays a μ4‐(κ3O, O, O5)(κ2O2,O2)(κ2O4,O4)‐bridging mode to generate 3D frameworks of complexes 1 – 8 and the α‐Po topology with the short Schläfli symbol {412.63} could be observed in complexes 1 – 8 . The near‐infrared luminescence properties were studied, and the results have shown that the HoIII, ErIII, and YbIII complexes emit typical near‐infrared luminescence in the solid‐state. Variable‐temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements of complexes 2 – 7 have shown that complex 2 (Gd) shows the ferromagnetic coupling between magnetic centers, whereas the complexes 3 – 7 show the antiferromagnetic coupling between magnetic centers. Additionally, the thermogravimetric analyses were discussed.  相似文献

The 1:1:2 mixture of Ln(hfac)3, Zn(hfac)2, and NIT‐Pyrim (hfac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate, NIT‐Pyrim = 2‐pyrimidine‐4,4,5,5‐tetramethylimidazoline‐1‐oxyl‐3‐oxide) afforded a series of 2p‐3d‐4f magnetic chains [Ln(hfac)3Zn(hfac)2(NIT‐Pyrim)2] [LnIII = Gd ( 1 ), Ho ( 2 ), Yb ( 3 )], in which Zn(hfac)2 and Ln(hfac)3 units are bridged by pyrimidine substituted nitronyl nitroxides through their NO moieties and pyrimidine nitrogen atoms. These complexes represent the first examples of 2p‐3d‐4f complexes with ZnII ions. Magnetic studies show that there exist ferromagnetic exchange couplings between the coordinated NO groups of radical ligands and the GdIII ions.  相似文献

A series of heterometallic LnIII–SbIII edta‐containing compounds with the formulas [Sb2(edta)2Ln]NO3 · nH2O [edta = ethylenediaminetetraacetate; Ln = Eu, n = 7 ( 1 ); Gd, n = 7.5 ( 2 ) and Tb, n = 8 ( 3 )] were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses (EA), powder X‐ray diffraction (PXDP), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), and thermogravimetric analyses (TGA). Their fluorescence and magnetic properties were also studied. The thermal analysis demonstrates the compounds formation of the antimony, lanthanide ions, and edta4– ligands. FT‐IR spectra reveal that the antimony and lanthanide ions are connected through the carboxylate bridges. The studies of luminescence properties show that compounds 1 and 3 exhibit typical luminescence in the visible region. Furthermore, magnetic properties reveal compounds 2 and 3 have weak ferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

The ligand H3L (6-[3-oxo-3-(2-hydroxyphenyl)propionyl]pyridine-2-carboxylic acid), which exhibits two different coordination pockets, has been exploited to engender and study energy transfer (ET) in two dinuclear [LnIIILnIII′] analogues of interest, [EuYb] and [NdYb]. Their structural and physical properties have been compared with newly synthesised analogues featuring no possible ET ([EuLu], [NdLu], and [GdYb]) and with the corresponding homometallic [EuEu] and [NdNd] analogues, which have been previously reported. Photophysical data suggest that ET between EuIII and YbIII does not occur to a significant extent, whereas emission from YbIII originates from sensitisation of the ligand. In contrast, energy migration seems to be occurring between the two NdIII centres in [NdNd], as well as in [NdYb], in which YbIII luminescence is thus, in part, sensitised by ET from Nd. This study shows the versatility of this molecular platform to further the investigation of lanthanide-to-lanthanide ET phenomena in defined molecular systems.  相似文献

Complexes of 4,10‐bis(phosphonomethyl)‐1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,7‐diacetic acid (trans‐H6do2a2p, H6 L ) with transition metal and lanthanide(III) ions were investigated. The stability constant values of the divalent and trivalent metal‐ion complexes are between the corresponding values of H4dota and H8dotp complexes, as a consequence of the ligand basicity. The solid‐state structures of the ligand and of nine lanthanide(III) complexes were determined by X‐ray diffraction. All the complexes are present as twisted‐square‐antiprismatic isomers and their structures can be divided into two series. The first one involves nona‐coordinated complexes of the large lanthanide(III) ions (Ce, Nd, Sm) with a coordinated water molecule. In the series of Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Er, Yb, the complexes are octa‐coordinated only by the ligand donor atoms and their coordination cages are more irregular. The formation kinetics and the acid‐assisted dissociation of several LnIII–H6 L complexes were investigated at different temperatures and compared with analogous data for complexes of other dota‐like ligands. The [Ce( L )(H2O)]3? complex is the most kinetically inert among complexes of the investigated lanthanide(III) ions (Ce, Eu, Gd, Yb). Among mixed phosphonate–acetate dota analogues, kinetic inertness of the cerium(III) complexes is increased with a higher number of phosphonate arms in the ligand, whereas the opposite is true for europium(III) complexes. According to the 1H NMR spectroscopic pseudo‐contact shifts for the Ce–Eu and Tb–Yb series, the solution structures of the complexes reflect the structures of the [Ce(H L )(H2O)]2? and [Yb(H L )]2? anions, respectively, found in the solid state. However, these solution NMR spectroscopic studies showed that there is no unambiguous relation between 31P/1H lanthanide‐induced shift (LIS) values and coordination of water in the complexes; the values rather express a relative position of the central ions between the N4 and O4 planes.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of Ln3+ nitrate [Ln(Tpm)(NO3)3] ⋅ MeCN (Ln=Yb ( 1Yb ), Eu ( 1Eu )) and chloride [Yb(Tpm)Cl3] ⋅ 2MeCN ( 2Yb ), [Eu(Tpm)Cl2(μ-Cl)]2 ( 2Eu ) complexes coordinated by neutral tripodal tris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)methane (Tpm). The crystal structures of 1Ln and 2Ln were established by single crystal X-ray diffraction, while for 1Yb high resolution experiment was performed. Nitrate complexes 1Ln are isomorphous and both adopt mononuclear structure. Chloride 2Yb is monomeric, while Eu3+ analogue 2Eu adopts a binuclear structure due to two μ2-bridging chloride ligands. The typical lanthanide luminescence was observed for europium complexes ( 1Eu and 2Eu ) as well as for terbium and dysprosium analogues ([Ln(Tpm)(NO3)3] ⋅ MeCN, Ln=Tb ( 1Tb ), Dy ( 1Dy ); [Ln(Tpm)Cl3] ⋅ 2MeCN, Ln=Tb ( 2Tb ), Dy ( 2Dy )).  相似文献

Five rare earth heterospin complexes [Ln(hfac)3(NITptBuPh)2], [LnIII = Eu ( 1 ), Tb ( 2 ), Dy ( 3 ), Ho ( 4 ), Er ( 5 )] (hfac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate), were synthesized with the radical ligand NITptBuPh [2‐(4′‐tert‐butylphenyl)‐4, 4,5, 5‐tetramethylimidazoline‐1‐oxyl‐3‐oxide]. These complexes exhibit similar structures. All of them crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c, and consist of discrete mononuclear molecules. The central LnIII ion is eight‐coordinate with a distorted dodecahedral environment. The NITptBuPh radical acts as monodentate ligand towards LnIII ion through the NO group. The magnetic studies suggested weak antiferromagnetic interactions between LnIII ion and radicals in 1 , 3 , 4 , and 5 , but weak ferromagnetic interaction in 2 .  相似文献
