X-Irradiation of single crystals of methylene diarsonic acid gives rise to a variety of radicals which have been identified by ESR. spectroscopy; (OH)2As(O)CHAs(O) (OH)2, ?OÅs(OH)2CH2As(O)(OH)2, AsO3 and (OH)Ås(O)CH2As(O)(OH)2. The spin densities have been obtained from the 75As-hyperfine tensors. An additional species - probably a radical anion localized on a pentacoordinated arsenic - is also detected after annealing at room temperature. The radiation damage process is discussed.  相似文献

Lithium TMP-aluminate "(i)Bu(3)Al(TMP)Li" undergoes dismutation in THF solution to precipitate the tetraalkylaluminate [{Li.(THF)(4)}(+){Al((i)Bu)(4)}(-)], but reacts kinetically as a TMP base towards N,N-diisopropylbenzamide to afford the crystalline ortho-aluminated species [(THF)(3).Li{O([=C)N((i)Pr)(2)(C(6)H(4))}Al((i)Bu)(3)] and TMPH.  相似文献

The nonaqueous rechargeable lithium-O(2) battery containing an alkyl carbonate electrolyte discharges by formation of C(3)H(6)(OCO(2)Li)(2), Li(2)CO(3), HCO(2)Li, CH(3)CO(2)Li, CO(2), and H(2)O at the cathode, due to electrolyte decomposition. Charging involves oxidation of C(3)H(6)(OCO(2)Li)(2), Li(2)CO(3), HCO(2)Li, CH(3)CO(2)Li accompanied by CO(2) and H(2)O evolution. Mechanisms are proposed for the reactions on discharge and charge. The different pathways for discharge and charge are consistent with the widely observed voltage gap in Li-O(2) cells. Oxidation of C(3)H(6)(OCO(2)Li)(2) involves terminal carbonate groups leaving behind the OC(3)H(6)O moiety that reacts to form a thick gel on the Li anode. Li(2)CO(3), HCO(2)Li, CH(3)CO(2)Li, and C(3)H(6)(OCO(2)Li)(2) accumulate in the cathode on cycling correlating with capacity fading and cell failure. The latter is compounded by continuous consumption of the electrolyte on each discharge.  相似文献

Inspired by the CO(2)-reductatse activity of tungsten-dependent formate dehydrogenases (W-FDHs), a reduced W-FDH model, [W(IV)(OH)(S(2)C(2)Ph(2))(2)](-), was prepared in situ through hydrolysis of [W(IV)(OPh)(S(2)C(2)Ph(2))(2)](-) (1) and its reactivity with CO(2) was investigated. The reaction between [W(IV)(OH)(S(2)C(2)Ph(2))(2)](-) and CO(2) at room temperature leads to the formation of [W(IV)(O)(S(2)C(2)Ph(2))(2)](2-) (2), which slowly oxidizes to [W(V)(O)(S(2)C(2)Ph(2))(2)](-) (3). Isotopic labeling experiments reveal that the O atom in CO(2) incorporates into 3. This implies that there is carbonic anhydrase like activity, in which carbonation and decarboxylation are mediated by a bis(dithiolene)tungsten complex.  相似文献

Rate constants for the reactions of OH radicals and NO3 radicals with dimethyl phosphonate [DMHP, (CH3O)2P(O)H], dimethyl methylphosphonate [DMMP, (CH3O)2P(O)CH3], and dimethyl ethylphosphonate [DMEP, (CH3O)2P(O)C2H5] have been measured at 296 +/- 2 K and atmospheric pressure using relative rate methods. The rate constants obtained for the OH radical reactions (in units of 10(-12) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1)) were as follows: DMHP, 4.83 +/- 0.25; DMMP, 10.4 +/- 0.6; and DMEP, 17.0 +/- 1.0, with a deuterium isotope effect of k(OH + DMMP)/k(OH + DMMP-d9) = 4.8 +/- 1.2. The rate constants obtained for the NO3 radical reactions (in units of 10(-16) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1)) were as follows: DMHP, < 1.4; DMMP, 2.0 +/- 1.0; and DMEP, 3.4 +/- 1.4. Upper limits to the rate constants for the O3 reactions of < 8 x 10(-20) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) for DMHP and < 6 x 10(-20) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) for DMMP and DMEP were determined. Products of the reactions of OH radicals with DMHP, DMMP, and DMEP were investigated in situ using atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry (API-MS) and, for the DMMP and DMEP reactions, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. API-MS analyses showed the formation of products of molecular weight 96 and 126, attributed to CH3OP(O)(H)OH and (CH3O)2P(O)OH, respectively, from DMHP; of molecular weight 110, attributed to CH3OP(O)(CH3)OH, from DMMP; and of molecular weight 124 and 126, attributed to CH3OP(O)(C2H5)OH and (CH3O)2P(O)OH, respectively, from DMEP. FT-IR analyses showed formation (values given are % molar yields) of the following: from DMMP, CO, 54 +/- 6; CO2, 5 +/- 1 in dry air; HCHO, 3.9 +/- 0.7; HC(O)OH, < 1.4 in dry air; RONO2, approximately 4; and formate ester, approximately 8; and from DMEP, CO, 50 +/- 7; CO2, 11 +/- 4; CH3CHO, 18 +/- 8; HCHO, < 7; HC(O)OH, < 6; RONO2, < or = 5; and formate ester, 5.0 +/- 1.5. Possible reaction mechanisms are discussed.  相似文献

The compounds M(2)(O(2)C(t)Bu)(4) and M(2)(O(2)CC(6)H(5))(4), where M = Mo or W, have been examined by femtosecond time-resolved IR (fs-TRIR) spectroscopy in tetrahydrofuran with excitation into the singlet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer ((1)MLCT) band. In the region from 1500 to 1600 cm(-1), a long-lived excited state (>2 ns) has been detected for the compounds M(2)(O(2)C(t)Bu)(4) and Mo(2)(O(2)C-C(6)H(5))(4) with an IR absorption at ~1540 cm(-1) assignable to the asymmetric CO(2) stretch, ν(as)(CO(2)), of the triplet metal-metal δ-δ star ((3)MM δδ*) state. The fs-TRIR spectra of W(2)(O(2)C-C(6)H(5))(4) are notably different and are assigned to decay of the MLCT states. In (3)MM δδ*, the removal of an electron from the δ orbital reduces MM δ to CO(2) π* back-bonding and causes a shift of ν(as)(CO(2)) to higher energy by ~30-60 cm(-1), depending on the metal. TRIR spectroscopy also provides evidence for M(2)(O(2)C(t)Bu)(4), where M = Mo or W, having MM δδ* S(1) states with ν(as)(CO(2)) distinct from those of the (3)MM δδ* states.  相似文献

The tetradentate imino-carboxylate ligand [L](2)(-) chelates the equatorial sites of Ni(II) to give the complex [Ni(L)(MeOH)(2)] in which a Ni(II) center is bound in an octahedral coordination environment with MeOH ligands occupying the axial sites. Lanthanide (Ln) and Group II metal ions (M) template the aggregation of six [Ni(L)] fragments into the octahedral cage aggregates (M[Ni(L)](6))(x)(+) (1: M = Sr(II); x = 2,2: M = Ba(II); x = 2, 3: M = La(III); x = 3, 4: M = Ce(III); x = 3, 5: M = Pr(III); x = 3, and 6: M = Nd(III); x = 3). In the presence of Group I cations, however, aggregates composed of the alkali metal-oxide cations template various cage compounds. Thus, Na(+) forms the trigonal bipyramidal [Na(5)O](3+) core within a tricapped trigonal prismatic [Ni(L)](9) aggregate to give ((Na(5)O) subset [Ni(L)](9)(MeOH)(3))(BF(4))(2).OH.CH(3)OH, 7. Li(+) and Na(+) together form a mixed Li(+)/Na(+) core comprising distorted trigonal bipyramidal [Na(3)Li(2)O](3+) within an approximately anti-square prismatic [Ni(L)](8) cage in ((Na(3)Li(2)O) subset [Ni(L)](8)(CH(3)OH)(1.3)(BF(4))(0.7))(BF(4))(2.3).(CH(3)OH)(2.75).(C(4)H(10)O)(0.5), 8, while in the presence of Li(+), a tetrahedral [Li(4)O](2+) core within a hexanuclear open cage [Ni(L)](6) in ((Li(4)O) subset [Ni(L)](6)(CH(3)OH)(3))2ClO(4).1.85CH(3)OH, 9, is produced. In the presence of H(2)O, the Cs(+) cation induces the aggregation of the [Ni(L)(H(2)O)(2)] monomer to give the cluster Cs(2)[Ni(L)(H(2)O)(2)](6).2I.4CH(3)OH.5.25H(2)O, 10. Analysis by electronic spectroscopy and mass spectrometry indicates that in solution the trend in stability follows the order 1-6 > 7 > 8 approximately 9. Magnetic susceptibility data indicate that there is net antiferromagnetic exchange between magnetic centers within the cages.  相似文献

Formates and dithionates of 6Li, enriched and 7Li in natural composition of Li offer a possibility to measure the absorbed dose from photons and thermal neutrons in a mixed radiation field for instance at a boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) facility. Tests with formates and dithionates of enriched 6Li and lithium compounds with natural composition have been performed at the BNCT facility at Studsvik, Sweden. Irradiations have been performed at 3 cm depth in a Perspex phantom in a fluence rate of thermal neutrons 1.8 x 10(9) n cm(-2) s(-1). The compounds were also irradiated in a pure X-ray field from a 4MV linear accelerator at 5 cm depth in a phantom with accurately determined absorbed doses. The signal intensity and shape was investigated within 3 h after the irradiation. A single line spectrum attributed to the CO2- radical was observed after irradiation of lithium formate. An increase in line width occurring after neutron irradiation in comparison with photon irradiation of the 6Li sample was attributed to dipolar broadening between CO2- radicals trapped in the tracks of the alpha particles. A spectrum due to the SO3- radical anion was observed after irradiation of lithium dithionate. The signal amplitude increased using the 6Li in place of the Li with natural composition of isotopes, in studies with low energy X-ray irradiation. Due to the decreased line width, caused by the difference in g(N) and I between the isotopes, the sensitivity with 6Li dithionate may be enhanced by an order of magnitude compared to alanine dosimetry. After comprehensive examination of the different combinations of compounds with different amounts of 6Li and 7Li regarding dosimetry, radiation chemistry and EPR properties these dosimeter material might be used for dose determinations at BNCT treatments and for biomedical experiments. Interesting properties of the radical formation might be visible due to the large difference in ionization density of neutrons compared to photons.

1 INTRODUCTIONTransition metal clusters have been attracting intensive attention largely because they are suggested as active catalysts in a variety of homogeneous catalyzed reactions. However, no unequivocal proof exists that metal clusters themselves serve as the true catalysts among the catalytic process. In many cases it is known that fragments of the original clusters are the actual catalytic species. The unambiguous proof would be the use of a rigid chiral cluster to catalyze an asy…  相似文献

Dimethyl ether oxidation at elevated temperatures (295-600 K)   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Dimethyl ether (DME) has been proposed for use as an alternative fuel or additive in diesel engines and as a potential fuel in solid oxide fuel cells. The oxidation chemistry of DME is a key element in understanding its role in these applications. The reaction between methoxymethyl radicals and O(2) has been examined over the temperature range 295-600 K and at pressures of 20-200 Torr. This reaction has two product pathways. The first produces methoxymethyl peroxy radicals, while the second produces OH radicals and formaldehyde molecules. Real-time kinetic measurements are made by transient infrared spectroscopy to monitor the yield of three main products-formaldehyde, methyl formate, and formic acid-to determine the branching ratio for the CH(3)OCH(2) + O(2) reaction pathways. The temperature and pressure dependence of this reaction is described by a Lindemann and Arrhenius mechanism. The branching ratio is described by f = 1/(1 + A(T)[M]), where A(T) = (1.6(+2.4)(-1.0) x 10(-20)) exp((1800 +/- 400)/T) cm(3) molecule(-1). The temperature dependent rate constant of the methoxymethyl peroxy radical self-reaction is calculated from the kinetics of the formaldehyde and methyl formate product yields, k(4) = (3.0 +/- 2.1) x 10(-13) exp((700 +/- 250)/T) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1). The experimental and kinetics modeling results support a strong preference for the thermal decomposition of alkoxy radicals versus their reaction with O(2) under our laboratory conditions. These characteristics of DME oxidation with respect to temperature and pressure might provide insight into optimizing solid oxide fuel cell operating conditions with DME in the presence of O(2) to maximize power outputs.  相似文献

The reaction of Cl(3)PNSiMe(3) with 3 equiv of LiHNR (R = (i)Pr, Cy, (t)Bu, Ad) in diethyl ether produces the corresponding tris(amino)(imino)phosphoranes (RNH)(3)PNSiMe(3) (1a, R = (i)Pr; 1b, R = Cy; 1c, R = (t)Bu; 1d, R = Ad); subsequent reactions of 1b-d with (n)BuLi yield the trilithiated tetraimidophosphates {Li(3)[P(NR)(3)(NSiMe(3))]} (2a, R = Cy; 2b, R = (t)Bu; 2c, R = Ad). The reaction of [((t)BuNH)(4)P]Cl with 1 equiv of (n)BuLi results in the isolation of ((t)BuNH)(3)PN(t)Bu (1e); treatment of 1e with additional (n)BuLi generates the symmetrical tetraimidophosphate {Li(3)[P(N(t)Bu)(4)]} (2d). Compounds 1 and 2 have been characterized by multinuclear ((1)H, (13)C, and (31)P) NMR spectroscopy; X-ray structures of 1b,c were also obtained. Oxidations of 2a-c with iodine, bromine, or sulfuryl chloride produces transient radicals in the case of 2a or stable radicals of the formula {Li(2)[P(NR)(3)(NSiMe(3))]LiX.3THF}* (X = Cl, Br, I; R = (t)Bu, Ad). The stable radicals exhibit C(3) symmetry and are thought to exist in a cubic arrangement, with the monomeric LiX unit bonded to the neutral radical {Li(2)[P(NR)(3)(NSiMe(3))]}* to complete the Li(3)N(3)PX cube. Reactions of solvent-separated ion pair {[Li(THF)(4)]{Li(THF)(2)[(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)]Li(THF)(2)} (6) with I(2) or SO(2)Cl(2) produce the persistent spirocyclic radical {(THF)(2)Li(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(mu-N(t)Bu)Li(THF)(2)}* (10a); all radicals have been characterized by a combination of variable concentration EPR experiments and DFT calculations.  相似文献

[Ni(P(R)(2)N(R')(2))(2)(CH(3)CN)](2+) complexes with R = Ph, R' = 4-MeOPh or R = Cy, R' = Ph , and a mixed-ligand [Ni(P(R)(2)N(R')(2))(P(R'(2))N(R'(2)))(CH(3)CN)](2+) with R = Cy, R' = Ph, R' = Ph, have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. These and previously reported complexes are shown to be electrocatalysts for the oxidation of formate in solution to produce CO(2), protons, and electrons, with rates that are first-order in catalyst and formate at formate concentrations below ~0.04 M (34 equiv). At concentrations above ~0.06 M formate (52 equiv), catalytic rates become nearly independent of formate concentration. For the catalysts studied, maximum observed turnover frequencies vary from <1.1 to 15.8 s(-1) at room temperature, which are the highest rates yet reported for formate oxidation by homogeneous catalysts. These catalysts are the only base-metal electrocatalysts as well as the only homogeneous electrocatalysts reported to date for the oxidation of formate. An acetate complex demonstrating an η(1)-OC(O)CH(3) binding mode to nickel has also been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Based on this structure and the electrochemical and spectroscopic data, a mechanistic scheme for electrocatalytic formate oxidation is proposed which involves formate binding followed by a rate-limiting proton and two-electron transfer step accompanied by CO(2) liberation. The pendant amines have been demonstrated to be essential for electrocatalysis, as no activity toward formate oxidation was observed for the similar [Ni(depe)(2)](2+) (depe = 1,2-bis(diethylphosphino)ethane) complex.  相似文献

Dichlorvos [2,2-dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate, (CH(3)O)(2)P(O)OCH═CCl(2)] is a relatively volatile in-use insecticide. Rate constants for its reaction with OH radicals have been measured over the temperature range 296-348 K and atmospheric pressure of air using a relative rate method. The rate expression obtained was 3.53 × 10(-13) e((1367±239)/T) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), with a 298 K rate constant of (3.5 ± 0.7) × 10(-11) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), where the error in the 298 K rate constant is the estimated overall uncertainty. In addition, rate constants for the reactions of NO(3) radicals and O(3) with dichlorvos, of (2.5 ± 0.5) × 10(-13) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) and (1.7 ± 1.0) × 10(-19) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), respectively, were measured at 296 ± 2 K. Products of the OH and NO(3) radical-initiated reactions were investigated using in situ atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry (API-MS) and (OH radical reaction only) in situ Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. For the OH radical reaction, the major initial products were CO, phosgene [C(O)Cl(2)] and dimethyl phosphate [(CH(3)O)(2)P(O)OH], with equal (to within ±10%) formation yields of CO and C(O)Cl(2). The API-MS analyses were consistent with formation of (CH(3)O)(2)P(O)OH from both the OH and NO(3) radical-initiated reactions. In the atmosphere, the dominant chemical loss processes for dichlorvos will be daytime reaction with OH radicals and nighttime reaction with NO(3) radicals, with an estimated lifetime of a few hours.  相似文献

Excited-state properties of fac-[Re(dmb)(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)]PF(6), [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2) (where dmb = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine), and other tricarbonyl rhenium(I) complexes were investigated by transient FTIR and UV-vis spectroscopy in CH(3)CN or THF. The one-electron reduced monomer, Re(dmb)(CO)(3)S (S = CH(3)CN or THF), can be prepared either by reductive quenching of the excited states of fac-[Re(dmb)(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)]PF(6) or by homolysis of [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2). In the reduced monomer's ground state, the odd electron resides on the dmb ligand rather than on the metal center. Re(dmb)(CO)(3)S dimerizes slowly in THF, k(d) = 40 +/- 5 M(-1) s(-1). This rate constant is much smaller than those of other organometallic radicals which are typically 10(9) M(-1) s(-1). The slower rate suggests that the equilibrium between the ligand-centered and metal-centered radicals is very unfavorable (K approximately 10(-4)). The reaction of Re(dmb)(CO)(3)S with CO(2) is slow and competes with the dimerization. Photolysis of [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2) in the presence of CO(2) produces CO with a 25-50% yield based on [Re]. A CO(2) bridged dimer, (CO)(3)(dmb)Re-CO(O)-Re(dmb)(CO)(3) is identified as an intermediate. Both [Re(dmb)(CO)(3)](2)(OCO(2)) and Re(dmb)(CO)(3)(OC(O)OH) are detected as oxidation products; however, the previously reported formato-rhenium species is not detected.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization (X-ray crystallography, UV/vis spectroscopy, electrochemistry, ESI-MS, and (1)H, (13)C, and (59)Co NMR) of the complexes [Co(L)(O(2)CO)]ClO(4)xH(2)O (L = tpa (tpa = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine) (x = 1), pmea (pmea = bis((2-pyridyl)methyl)-2-((2-pyridyl)ethyl)amine) (x = 0), pmap (pmap = bis(2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl)(2-pyridylmethyl)amine) (x = 0), tepa (tepa = tris(2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl)amine) (x = 0)) which contain tripodal tetradentate pyridyl ligands and chelated carbonate ligands are reported. The complexes display different colors in both the solid state and solution, which can be rationalized in terms of the different ligand fields exerted by the tripodal ligands. Electrochemical data show that [Co(tepa)(O(2)CO)](+) is the easiest of the four complexes to reduce, and the variation in E(red.) values across the series of complexes can also be explained in terms of the different ligand fields exerted by the tripodal ligands, as can the (59)Co NMR data which show a chemical shift range of over 2000 ppm for the four complexes. [Co(pmea)(O(2)CO)](+) is fluxional in aqueous solution, and VT NMR spectroscopy ((1)H and (13)C) in DMF-d(7) (DMF = dimethylformamide) over the temperature range -25.0 to 75.0 degrees C are consistent with inversion of the unique six-membered chelate ring. This process shows a substantial activation barrier (DeltaG(#) = 58 kJ mol(-1)). The crystal structures of [Co(tpa)(O(2)CO)]ClO(4)xH(2)O, [Co(pmea)(O(2)CO)]ClO(4).3H(2)O, [Co(pmap)(O(2)CO)]ClO(4), and [Co(tepa)(O(2)CO)]ClO(4) are reported, and the complexes containing the asymmetric tripodal ligands pmea and pmap both crystallize as the 6-isomer. The carbonate complexes all show remarkable stability in 6 M HCl solution, with [Co(pmap)(O(2)CO)](+) showing essentially no change in its UV/vis spectrum over 4 h in this medium. The chelated bicarbonate complexes [Co(pmea)(O(2)COH)]ZnCl(4), [Co(pmap)(O(2)COH)][Co(pmap)(O(2)CO)](ClO(4))(3), [Co(pmap)(O(2)COH)]ZnCl(4)xH(2)O, and [Co(pmap(O(2)COH)]ZnBr(4)x2H(2)O can be isolated from acidic aqueous solution, and the crystal structure of [Co(pmap)(O(2)COH)]ZnCl(4)x3H(2)O is reported. The stability of the carbonate complexes in acid is explained by analysis of the crystallographic data for these, and other slow to hydrolyze chelated carbonate complexes, which show that the endo (coordinated) oxygen atoms are significantly hindered by atoms on the ancillary ligands, in contrast to complexes such as [Co(L)(O(2)CO)](+) (L = (NH(3))(4), (en)(2), tren, and nta), which undergo rapid acid hydrolysis and which show no such steric hindrance.  相似文献

A new series of polynuclear superalkali cations YLi(3)(+) (Y = CO(3), SO(3), SO(4), O(4), and O(5)) has been created when the central group is surrounded by alkali atoms. The structural characteristics and stabilities of these systems are provided on the basis of ab initio methods. In the lowest-energy structure of the CO(3)Li(3)(+), SO(3)Li(3)(+), and SO(4)Li(3)(+) cations, the central Y (Y = CO(3), SO(3), and SO(4)) group features a slight distortion. The global minima of O(4)Li(3)(+) and O(5)Li(3)(+) are of the forms O(2)(-)(Li(+))(3)O(2)(-) and O(2)(-)(Li(+))(3)O(3)(-), respectively, both of which contain two monovalent ion units. The structural integrity of the central Y group and the arrangement of the lithium ligands are two influencing factors on the vertical electron affinities (EA(vert)) for the YLi(3)(+) species. The YLi(3)(+) cation, with its lithium ligands being distributed evenly or far from each other, tends to exhibit a low EA(vert) value, whereas a greater extent of cleavage of the central Y group leads to a higher EA(vert) value and even makes some species lose their superalkali nature.  相似文献

A new three-dimensional magnesium formate polymorph, namely, γ-[Mg(3)(O(2)CH)(6)] has been synthesized via in situ formate anion generation method. γ-Mg-formate crystallizes in space group Pbcn, and structural determination by X-ray single crystal diffraction reveals a three-dimensional network of Mg(2+) linked by formate anions. All formate anions possess similar binding mode to the metal center with one oxygen of a particular formate anion binds to one metal center (μ(1) oxygen) and other oxygen binds to two metal centers (μ(2) oxygen). N(2) adsorption studies indicate that the framework displays permanent porosity. The specific surface area of γ-Mg-formate (BET, 120 m(2) gm(-1)) is lower than the α- polymorph (BET, 150 m(2) gm(-1)). However, the initial hydrogen uptake of γ-Mg-formate reached almost 1.0 wt % when the adsorbate pressure approached 760 Torr at 77 K. This is higher than the hydrogen uptake of α-Mg-formate (0.6 wt %). γ-Mg-formate, shows a moderate affinity and capacity for CO(2) (3.4 ? kinetic diameter) at 298 K. The CO(2) uptake at 760 Torr is 2.01 mmol gm(-1) (47.0 cc gm(-1)). Although this CO(2) uptake is somewhat modest, it compares well with the CO(2) uptake of several Mg-MOFs and ZIFs reported in the literature.  相似文献

A series consisting of a tungsten anion, radical, and cation, supported by the N-heterocyclic carbene 1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IMes) and spanning formal oxidation states W(0), W(I), and W(II), has been synthesized, isolated, and characterized. Reaction of the hydride CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H with KH and 18-crown-6 gives the tungsten anion [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)](-)[K(18-crown-6)](+). Electrochemical oxidation of [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)](-) in MeCN (0.2 M (n)Bu(4)N(+)PF(6)(-)) is fully reversible (E(1/2) = -1.65 V vs Cp(2)Fe(+?/0)) at all scan rates, indicating that CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(?) is a persistent radical. Hydride transfer from CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H to Ph(3)C(+)PF(6)(-) in MeCN affords [cis-CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(MeCN)](+)PF(6)(-). Comproportionation of [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)](-) with [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(MeCN)](+) gives the 17-electron tungsten radical CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(?). This complex shows paramagnetically shifted resonances in the (1)H NMR spectrum and has been characterized by IR spectroscopy, low-temperature EPR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(?) is stable with respect to disproportionation and dimerization. NMR studies of degenerate electron transfer between CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(?) and [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)](-) are reported. DFT calculations were carried out on CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H, as well as on related complexes bearing NHC ligands with N,N' substituents Me (CpW(CO)(2)(IMe)H) or H (CpW(CO)(2)(IH)H) to compare to the experimentally studied IMes complexes with mesityl substituents. These calculations reveal that W-H homolytic bond dissociation energies (BDEs) decrease with increasing steric bulk of the NHC ligand, from 67 to 64 to 63 kcal mol(-1) for CpW(CO)(2)(IH)H, CpW(CO)(2)(IMe)H, and CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H, respectively. The calculated spin density at W for CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(?) is 0.63. The W radicals CpW(CO)(2)(IMe)(?) and CpW(CO)(2)(IH)(?) are calculated to form weak W-W bonds. The weakly bonded complexes [CpW(CO)(2)(IMe)](2) and [CpW(CO)(2)(IH)](2) are predicted to have W-W BDEs of 6 and 18 kcal mol(-1), respectively, and to dissociate readily to the W-centered radicals CpW(CO)(2)(IMe)(?) and CpW(CO)(2)(IH)(?).  相似文献

The focus of this study is on the identification of precursors in solution that might act as building blocks when solid uranyl(vi) poly-peroxometallate clusters containing peroxide and hydroxide bridges are formed. The precursors could be identified by using carbonate as an auxiliary ligand that prevented the formation of large clusters, such as the ones found in solids of fullerene type. Using data from potentiometric and NMR ((17)O and (13)C) experiments we identified the following complexes and determined their equilibrium constants: (UO(2))(2)(O(2))(CO(3))(4)(6-), UO(2)(O(2))CO(3)(2-), UO(2)(O(2))(CO(3))(2)(4-), (UO(2))(2)(O(2))(CO(3))(2)(2-), (UO(2))(2)(O(2))(2)(CO(3))(2-) and [UO(2)(O(2))(CO(3))](5)(10-). The NMR spectra of the pentamer show that all uranyl and carbonate sites are equivalent, which is only consistent with a ring structure built from uranyl units linked by peroxide bridges with the carbonate coordinated "outside" the ring; this proposed structure is very similar to [UO(2)(O(2))(oxalate)](5)(10-) identified by Burns et al. (J. Am. Chem. Soc., 2009, 131, 16648; Inorg. Chem., 2012, 51, 2403) in K(10)[UO(2)(O(2))(oxalate)](5)·(H(2)O)(13); similar ring structures where oxalate or carbonate has been replaced by hydroxide are important structure elements in solid poly-peroxometallate complexes. The equivalent uranyl sites in (UO(2))(2)(O(2))(2)(CO(3))(2-) suggest that the uranyl-units are linked by the carbonate ion and not by peroxide.  相似文献
