We study the Fresnel diffraction of Gaussian beam truncated by one circular aperture, and give the general analytic expression of the Fresnel diffraction of truncated Gaussian beam denoted by Bessel functions. Then the characteristic of the axial diffraction fluctuation and the influence of the caliber of the circular aperture and the wave waist of Gaussian beam on the diffraction distributions are discussed, respectively. Through the numerical calculations, the characteristics of the transverse diffraction are presented and the relationship of the fluctuation of the transverse diffraction profile and the position of the axial point is shown. The physical origin of the fluctuation of Fresnel diffraction intensities of truncated Gaussian beam is expressed in terms of Fresnel half-zone theory. These phenomena and the conclusions are important for the measurement of the parameters of the beam and its applications.  相似文献

基于傅里叶-贝塞尔变换计算高斯光束垂直入射环形光栅时的衍射远场分布,分析了其衍射远场光强分布的一般规律,并与平面波入射时的情况进行了比较.计算结果表明:当光栅半径为1.5倍高斯光束束腰半径时, 随着光栅环数的增加,中央亮斑半值全宽先减小后增大、中央亮斑所包含的功率占总功率的比值减小、中央主极大光强值减小,三者的变化趋势与平面波入射时的趋势一致;中央亮斑半径、次极大光强值变化趋势与平面波入射时的变化趋势不同.当环数小于5时,高斯光束经过环形光栅的衍射场光强变化无规律;当环数大于10后两种情况下衍射场光强变化都不明显;当环数趋于无穷时中央亮斑半径、中央亮斑半值全宽、次极大光强值趋于圆孔衍射(环数等于1)时的值,中央亮斑所包含的功率占总功率的比值约等于圆孔衍射时的1/2,中央主极大光强值约等于圆孔衍射时的1/4.  相似文献

The focal shifts of focused truncated random electromagnetic beams are investigated. Based on the complex Gaussian expansion method for a hard-edged aperture function, the analytical propagation formula of cross-spectral density matrix for a random electromagnetic beam focused by an optical system with a thin lens and a circular aperture is derived. The Fresnel numbers related with the beam and system parameters are defined and used to examine focal shifts. The dependence of the focal shifts on the different Fresnel numbers and polarization distribution are discussed in detail with numerical examples.  相似文献

基于菲涅耳衍射积分理论及硬边孔径的复高斯函数展开法导出了Bessel光束经椭圆环形孔径后的光场表达式, 数值模拟了其光场的强度分布. 研究了Bessel光束经椭圆环形孔径后的光场变化及其传播过程; 在实验上利用轴棱锥输出的近似无衍射Bessel光, 通过椭圆环形孔径, 使用电荷耦合器件拍摄得到不同传播距离处的光强分布. 理论结果和实验结果均表明无衍射光束经椭圆环形孔径后会产生空心光束.  相似文献

The propagation properties of Bessel beam is a meaningful research. In this paper, based on the expanding the hard-edged circular aperture as a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions and the scalar diffraction theory, an approximate analytical solution for Bessel beam propagating through a fractional Fourier transform system is derived in the cylindrical coordinates. Then, the detailed numerical calculation for Bessel beam is presented. The simulation also shows that the beam parameter and the order of fractional Fourier transform result in the change of field distribution, including location, intensity and width.  相似文献

Based on the treatment that a rectangular function can be expanded as an approximate sum of complex Gaussian functions with finite numbers, the analytical expression of the Wigner distribution function for a Gaussian beam passing through a paraxial ABCD optical system with hard-edged aperture is obtained. By numerical simulation, it is shown that the effect of the aperture on the Wigner distribution function is prominent. By comparing the analytical results with the numerical integral results, it is shown that this method of expanding hard-edged aperture into Gaussian functions with finite numbers is proper and ascendant. This method could be extended to study the Wigner distribution functions of other light beams passing through a paraxial ABCD optical system with hard-edged aperture.  相似文献

By means of the extended Huygens-Fresnel integral formula in the paraxial approximation and based on the fact that a hard aperture function can be expanded into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, an approximate analytical expression for Bessel-Gauss beams propagating in a turbulent atmosphere truncated by an aperture has been derived. The result is more convenient for studying the axial intensity distribution properties of Bessel-Gauss beams with different topological charges in a turbulent atmosphere than the usual way by using diffraction integral directly. Utilizing the analytical expression, the axial intensity distribution of such kind of beam in a turbulent atmosphere is investigated numerically in detail. Results show that the intensity distribution on the axis changes with the variation of the beam topological charge m, the wavelength and beam waist width of the initial beam and the turbulent strength.  相似文献

Based on the vectorial angular spectrum representation of Maxwell equations and the method of stationary phase, analytical expressions are derived for the TE term, TM term and whole energy flux of a hard-edged diffracted modified Laguerre–Gaussian beam (MLGBs) in the far field, respectively. It is shown that the evolutive energy flux not only depends on the beam order, initial waist width but also relates to the truncated parameter. Furthermore, influences of the truncated parameter on the discrepancies of energy flux distributions between paraxial and non-paraxial cases are also analyzed for different selections of the initial beam width.  相似文献

Based on the Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral and Fourier transform, propagation expression of a chirped Gaussian pulse passing through a hard-edged aperture is derived. Intensity distributions of the pulse with different frequency chirp in the near-field and far-field are analyzed in detail by numerical calculations. In the near-field, amplitudes of the intensity peaks generated by the modulation of the hard-edged aperture decrease with increasing the frequency chirp, which results in the improving of the beam uniformity. A physical explanation for the smoothing effect brought by increasing the frequency chirp is given. The smoothing effect is achieved not only in the pulse with Gaussian transverse profile but also in the pulse with Hermite-Gaussian transverse profile when the frequency chirp increases.  相似文献

Based on the fact that a hard-edged elliptical aperture can be expanded approximately as a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions in tensor form, an analytical propagation expression for an elliptical cosh-Gaussian beam (EChGB) truncated by an elliptical aperture and passing through an axially nonsymmetrical optical system is obtained by use of vector integration. Furthermore, the analytical propagation expression for a truncated off-axial EChGB is derived as an application example. Some numerical simulations are given to illustrate the propagation properties of EChGBs and off-axial EChGBs passing through a free space with an elliptical aperture. Using the fact that a hard-edged rectangular aperture function can be approximated by a two-dimensional multi-Gaussian series, analytic formulas for the elements of the cross-spectral density matrix of a random electromagnetic beam truncated by a rectangular aperture and passing through an axially nonsymmetrical optical system is derived. The analysis is illustrated by numerical examples relating to changes in the spectral degree of polarization of electromagnetic Gaussian Schell-model beams propagating through free space, focal system and dual-focus system. In particular, the effect of the size of the hard aperture on the spectral degree of polarization of the beam along its optical axis is discussed.  相似文献

By expanding the circ function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions and applying the Collins formula, the propagation of hard-edge diffracted modified Laguerre–Gaussian beams (MLGBs) through a paraxial ABCD system is studied, and the approximate closed-form propagation expression of hard-edge diffracted MLGBs is obtained. The transverse intensity distribution of the MLGB carrying finite power can be characterized by a single bright and symmetric ring during propagation when the aperture radius is very large. Starting from the definition of the generalized truncated second-order moments, the beam quality factor of MLGBs through a hard-edged circular aperture is investigated in a cylindrical coordinate system, which turns out to be dependent on the truncated radius and the beam orders.  相似文献

Internal vectorial structure of the beam generated by the Gaussian mirror resonator (GMR) diffracted through a hard-edged aperture are evaluated in the near-field. Based on the vectorial angular spectrum representation of electromagnetic fields and the paraxial approximation, TE and TM terms of intensity distributions of the beam in the near field are derived in analytical forms, respectively. Numerical results reveal that the behaviors of TE and TM terms not only depend on the parameters of mirror resonators but also relate to the truncated parameter of the aperture. It is also shown that the distributions of TE and TM terms would not keep detached from each other because of the unorthogonality of their vectorial structures in the near field.  相似文献

Focusing properties of the cylindrical vector axisymmetric Bessel-modulated Gaussian beam with quadratic radial phase dependence (QBG beam) in high numerical aperture parabolic mirror system is investigated theoretically by vector diffraction theory. Results show that intensity distribution in focal region can be altered considerably by beam parameter μ and polarization angle. The tightly focused cylindrically polarized axial symmetric Bessel-modulated Gaussian beams by a high numerical aperture parabolic mirror have possible applications in particle acceleration, optical trapping and manipulating, single molecule imaging and high resolution imaging microscopy.  相似文献

对高斯光束在硬边孔径限制下的衍射进行了详细的理论研究,就不同口径的圆孔限制下高斯光束在菲涅耳衍射区和夫琅禾费衍射区的分布进行了理论分析,从而得到了孔径受限高斯光束的横向以及轴向的衍射公式,进而对高斯光束在不同衍射区域内衍射光场分布形状随孔径尺寸变化时的演化规律进行了数值计算,并对小口径光阑受限的高斯光束的衍射与平行光经同尺寸光阑的衍射进行了比较。结果表明在较小口径下,两者的分布基本一致。得到的孔径光阑限制下高斯光束的传输规律为高斯光束在自由空间光通信和光学超分辨中的应用提供了理论基础。  相似文献

 使用傅里叶级数与有限个复高斯函数之和的乘积作为硬边光阑的窗口函数的近似式,提出了含硬边光阑近轴ABCD光学系统对光束变换的改进算法。以高斯光束的变换为例,推导出了一个表示为初等函数之和的近似解析传输公式。给出了数值计算结果,并与直接积分Collins公式和使用Wen方法的结果作了比较。研究表明,改进算法能兼顾计算精度和机时,并能用于远场和近场。而使用Wen方法时,在近场(小于0.12倍菲涅尔距离)有明显误差。  相似文献

Based on the principle that a rectangular function can be expanded into a sum of complex Gaussian functions with finite numbers, propagation characteristics of a Gaussian beam or a plane wave passing through apertured fractional Fourier transforming systems are analyzed and corresponding analytical formulae are obtained. Analytical formulae in different fractional orders are numerically simulated and compared with the diffraction integral formulae, the applicable range and exactness of analytical formulae are confirmed.It is shown that the calculating speed of using the obtained approximate analytical formulae, is several hundred times faster than that of using diffraction integral directly. Meanwhile, by using analytical formulae the effect of different aperture sizes on Gaussian beam propagation characteristics is numerically simulated, it is shown that the diffraction effect can be neglected when the aperture size is 5 times larger than the beam waist size.  相似文献

The radial Hilbert transform has been extend to the fractional field, which could be called the fractional radial Hilbert transform (FRHT). Using edge-enhancement characteristics of this transform, we convert a Gaussian light beam into a variety of dark hollow beams (DHBs). Based on the fact that a hard-edged aperture can be expanded approximately as a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, the analytical expression of a Gaussian beam passing through a FRHT system has been derived. As a numerical example, the properties of the DHBs with different fractional orders are illustrated graphically. The calculation results obtained by use of the analytical method and the integral method are also compared.  相似文献

In this paper we obtain an analytical expression for the intensity pattern associated with a field propagating from a circular aperture with a truncated J0 Bessel beam distribution. The diffraction integral in the scalar diffraction theory is evaluated in both the far field and the near field and numerical results are presented for the irradiance pattern on the beam axis as well as in the transverse plane. General curves are drawn to show clearly the truncation effects of the aperture on the propagation characteristics of J0 beams.  相似文献
