提出了一种利用重构等效啁啾超结构光纤光栅对啁啾光脉冲进行频域消啁啾和时域脉宽压缩的方法.由于重构等效啁啾技术可实现任意物理可实现滤波特性的光纤光栅,因此所提出的新型消啁啾方法可以针对任意啁啾模型的脉冲.仿真结果表明,对于脉宽为20 ps,啁啾系数为-5,啁啾模型为线性、高斯型、洛仑兹型的啁啾高斯脉冲,其被消啁啾后时间带宽积分别由初始的225,265,250下降到0458,0708,0731,脉宽压缩效果明显.针对商业软件给出的增益开关分布反馈半导体激光器输出光脉冲的模型,实际制作相应的重构等效

A new device of two parallel distributed feedback (DFB) lasers
integrated monolithically with Y-branch waveguide coupler was
fabricated by means of quantum well intermixing. Optical microwave
signal was generated in the Y-branch waveguide coupler through
frequency beating of the two laser modes coming from two DFB laser
in parallel, which had a small difference in frequency. Continuous
rapid tuning of optical microwave signal from 13 to 42GHz were
realized by adjusting independently the driving currents injected

Previously developed method for analysis of phase shifted DFB lasers is improved by incoporating it with a multi-mode rate equation analysis. The spectral characteristics of phase shifted DFB lasers above threshold can thus be analyzed. On the basis of the rate equations, the self-pulsation in the two-section DFB lasers with asymmetrical injection current was explained. 基于激光器频率谱检测技术,沿着光的传输方向分析了光波在谐振式集成光学陀螺系统中的传播,结合输入信号特征,建立频域内的数学模型,通过数值仿真和实验得到了调频检测系统下的解调曲线。按照光的传输方向:激光器、声光晶体移频器、光波导环形谐振器、探测器,利用贝塞尔函数展开和光场耦合模理论分析了谐振式集成光学陀螺解调特性,及其调频调制检测系统解调输出信号与谐振频率偏差之间的关系。通过数值计算,分析了解调曲线的变化规律,得到了施加在激光器压电陶瓷驱动器上调制波形的最佳调制系数。在实验上搭建了激光器频率调制解调技术系统,得到了解调曲线。数值仿真和实验结果表明,当调制系数M=2时,线性工作区间斜率最大,解调曲线最好。实测形状与理论分析结果相符,从解调信号得到±2×103 rad/s的陀螺动态范围。 相似文献

Laser action in methyl methacrylate(MMA)co-doped with sulforhodamine B and crystal violet dyes was investigated.The dye mixture was incorporated into a solid polymeric matrix and was pumped by a 532-nm Nd:YAG laser.Distributed feedback dye laser(DFDL)action was induced in the dye mixture using a prism arrangement both in the donor and acceptor regions by an energy transfer mechanism.Theoretically,the characteristics of acceptor and donor DFDLs,and the dependence of their pulse widths and output powers on acceptor–donor concentrations and pump power,were studied.Experimentally,the output energy of DFDL was measured at the emission peaks of donor and acceptor dyes for different pump powers and different acceptor–donor concentrations.Tuning of the output wavelength was achieved by varying the period of the gain modulation of the laser medium.The laser wavelength showed continuous tunability from 563 nm to648 nm. 相似文献

The effect of the shape of the excitation pulses on the magnitude of the frequency chirp in an injection laser is investigated.
It is established that as the degree of rectangularity of the pulses becomes higher, the frequency chirp increases. Simultaneous
consideration of the effect of residual charge in the active region of the laser, the delay of stimulated radiation, and the
frequency chirp indicates that in the case of high-velocity code modulation of an injection laser, in the latter an irregular
frequency chirp appears that can exert a noticeable influence on the distortion of code trains of pulses having a super-Gaussian
shape, when they propagate in media with a dispersion of 100 p.s./nm/km and above.

In this paper, the linear propagation characteristics of the exponential optical
pulse with initial linear and nonlinear frequency chirp are numerically studied in a
single mode fibre for \be2<0. It can be found that the temporal full width at
half maximum and time-bandwidth product of exponential pulse monotonically increase
with the increase of propagation distance and decrease with the increase of linear
chirp C for C<0.5, go through an initial decreasing stage near \zeta=1, then
increase with the increase of propagation distance and linear chirp C for
C\geq0.5. The broadening of pulses with negative chirp is faster than that with
positive chirp. The exponential pulse with linear chirp gradually evolves into a
near-Gaussian pulse. The effect of nonlinear chirp on waveform of the pulse is much
greater than that of linear chirp. The temporal waveform breaking of exponential
pulse with nonlinear chirp is first observed in linear propagation. Furthermore, the
expressions of the spectral width and time-bandwidth product of the exponential
optical pulse with the frequency chirp are given by use of the numerical analysis

Effect of initial linear chirp on collision characteristics of two solitons in the birefringent fibre 下载免费PDF全文
The collision characteristics of the orthogonally
polarized solitons with initial linear frequency chirp
in the linear birefringent fibre for \beta 2<0 are numerically
studied. It is found that initial chirp changes the threshold value
of solitons to form the bound-state in the birefringent fibre. The
effect of initial positive chirp on the threshold value is more
obvious than that of negative chirp. In the case of \delta = 0.7
and initial interval 2\tau0 = 1.25, the two solitons are mutually
bound for 0.2 \le C \le 1, and they do not form the bound-state for
-1 \le C<0.2. Frequency shifts increase with the increase of chirp
parameter C for -1 \le C<0.2, and have the oscillatory structure
for C \ge 0.2. The effect of positive chirp on temporal FWHM is
greater than that of negative chirp. The peak of temporal waveform
oscillates with the propagation distance. The period and amplitude of
the oscillation for the chirped case are greater than those for the
unchirped case, and they vary with the increase of | C| . The peak
of output temporal waveform can be controlled by changing the initial

By using Dirac–Heisenberg–Wigner formalism we study electron–positron pair production for linear, elliptic, nearly circular, and circular polarizations of electric fields with symmetrical frequency chirp, and we obtain momentum spectra and pair yield. The difference of results among polarized fields is obvious for the small chirp. When the chirp parameter increases, the momentum spectra tend to exhibit the multiphoton pair generation that is characterized by the multi-concentric ring structure. The increase of the number density is also remarkable compared to the case of asymmetrical frequency chirp. Note that the dynamically assisted Schwinger mechanism plays an important role for the enhanced pair production in the symmetrical frequency chirp. 相似文献

采用分步傅里叶方法数值研究了初始线性啁啾和非线性啁啾双曲正割光脉冲在单模光纤反常色散区的线性传输特性,并与啁啾高斯脉冲的线性传输特性作了比较.给出了双曲正割光脉冲频谱宽度和时间带宽积随初始线性啁啾变化的表达式.结果表明,双曲正割脉冲在线性啁啾|C|>0.1时随传输距离的增加逐渐演化成近高斯型,在0≤|C|≤0.1时最后将演化为近双曲正割脉冲.|C|越小,脉冲时域波形越趋近双曲正割曲线.负啁啾对脉冲时域展宽的影响比正啁啾要大得多.当|C|≥0.5时,初始啁啾对双曲正割光脉冲展宽的影响比对高斯脉冲的影响更大.非线性啁啾双曲正割光脉冲在线性传输过程中会出现时域波形分裂现象,比具有相同啁啾的高斯脉冲时域波形分裂严重.

本文首次报道1.3μm单模超短脉冲产生及压缩实验。通过梳状波电脉冲直接调制DCPBH-DFB半导体激光器,获得22ps单模光滑脉冲;然后利用G-T干涉仪压缩得到近变换极限超短脉冲。脉宽为9.3ps,峰值功率超过200mW,重复频率1GHz,时间带宽乘积为0.39,脉冲压缩比为2.4。最后对实验结果进行了讨论。 相似文献

Various resonators for surface emission are reviewed that have recently been developed to improve radiative‐ and collection‐efficiencies of terahertz quantum cascade lasers (THz QCL). While the fabrication of waveguides for long wavelengths is challenging in terms of molecular beam epitaxy, long wavelengths also provide a wonderful testbed for new photonics structure concepts, since these can be easily produced by conventional optical lithography because of the typically large size of the required features. This led to novel geometries, like one‐ and two‐dimensional non‐periodic photonic crystals, or circular gratings for microdisk‐ and ring‐lasers, which are all implemented by simply patterning the top metal cladding of a metal‐metal waveguide. The modeling of such resonators with the finite element method is also described, highlighting the importance of this tool for the engineering of surface losses and far‐field patterns. 相似文献

为了解决流固耦合模态使水听器工作频带变窄的问题,理论分析了流体对双膜片结构的分布反馈式光纤激光水听器固有频率的影响,基于有限元软件对水听器加固封装前后在空气中和流体中的模态和频响性能进行仿真分析,加工制作了水听器原型样品并开展了水声实验研究.实验结果表明,在2 500~8 000Hz的频率范围内,未经加固封装的水听器由于在该频段内存在多个流固耦合固有频率造成响应曲线起伏较大,而采取了加固措施封装后的水听器获得了-142.77±0.8dB的平均声压灵敏度,验证了流体对水听器频响性能的影响以及改善措施的有效性,实验结果与理论及仿真结果吻合较好. 相似文献
