A microporous La–metal‐organic framework (MOF) has been synthesized by the reaction of La(NO3)3 ? 6 H2O with a ligand 4,4′,4′′‐s‐triazine‐1,3,5‐triyltri‐p‐aminobenzoate (TATAB) featuring three carboxylate groups. Crystal structure analysis confirms the formation of 3D MOF with hexagonal micropores, a Brunauer–Emmett—Teller (BET) surface area of 1074 m2 g?1 and high thermal and chemical stability. The CO2 adsorption capacities are 76.8 cm3 g?1 at 273 K and 34.6 cm3 g?1 at 293 K, a highest measured CO2 uptake for a Ln–MOFs.  相似文献

A novel luminescent microporous lanthanide metal–organic framework (Ln‐MOF) based on a urea‐containing ligand has been successfully assembled. Structural analysis revealed that the framework features two types of 1D channels, with urea N?H bonds projecting into the pores. Luminescence studies have revealed that the Ln‐MOF exhibits high sensitivity, good selectivity, and a fast luminescence quenching response towards Fe3+, CrVI anions, and picric acid. In particular, in the detection of Cr2O72? and picric acid, the Ln‐MOF can be simply and quickly regenerated, thus exhibiting excellent recyclability. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first example of a multi‐responsive luminescent Ln‐MOF sensor for Fe3+, CrVI anions, and picric acid based on a urea derivative. This Ln‐MOF may potentially be used as a multi‐responsive regenerable luminescent sensor for the quantitative detection of toxic and harmful substances.  相似文献

Effective detection of organic/inorganic pollutants, such as antibiotics, nitro‐compounds, excessive Fe3+ and MnO4?, is crucial for human health and environmental protection. Here, a new terbium(III)–organic framework, namely [Tb(TATAB)(H2O)]?2H2O ( Tb‐MOF , H3TATAB=4,4′,4′′‐s‐triazine‐1,3,5‐triyltri‐m‐aminobenzoic acid), was assembled and characterized. The Tb‐MOF exhibits a water‐stable 3D bnn framework. Due to the existence of competitive absorption, Tb‐MOF has a high selectivity for detecting Fe3+, MnO4?, 4‐nirophenol and nitroimidazole (ronidazole, metronidazole, dimetridazole, ornidazole) in aqueous through luminescent quenching. The results suggest that Tb‐MOF is a simple and reliable reagent with multiple sensor responses in practical applications. To the best of our knowledge, this work represents the first TbIII‐based MOF as an efficient fluorescent sensor for detecting metal ions, inorganic anions, nitro‐compounds, and antibiotics simultaneously.  相似文献

A water‐stable luminescent terbium‐based metal–organic framework (MOF), {[Tb(L1)1.5(H2O)] ? 3 H2O}n (Tb‐MOF), with rod‐shaped secondary building units (SBUs) and honeycomb‐type tubular channels has been synthesized and structurally characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The high green emission intensity and the microporous nature of the Tb‐MOF indicate that it can potentially be used as a luminescent sensor. In this work, we show that Tb‐MOF can selectively sense Fe3+ and Al3+ ions from mixed metal ions in water through different detection mechanisms. In addition, it also exhibits high sensitivity for 2,4,6‐trinitrophenol (TNP) in the presence of other nitro aromatic compounds in aqueous solution by luminescence quenching experiments.  相似文献

Eight isomorphous metal‐organic frameworks: [Ln2(TATAB)2(H2O)(DMA)6]·5H2O (Ln = Sm ( 1 ), Eu ( 2 ), Gd ( 3 ), Tb ( 4 ), Dy ( 5 ), Er ( 6 ), Tm ( 7 ), Yb ( 8 )); TATAB = 4,4′,4″‐s‐triazine‐1,3,5‐triyl‐p‐aminobenzoate, DMA = N,N‐dimethylacetamide), were synthesized by the self‐assembly of lanthanide ions, TATAB, DMA and H2O. Single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography reveals they are three dimensional frameworks with 2‐fold interpenetration. Solid‐state photoluminescence studies indicate ligand‐to‐metal energy transfer is more efficient for compounds 2 and 4 which exhibit intense characteristic lanthanide emissions at room temperature.  相似文献

A novel Ni‐based metal–organic framework (Ni‐MOF) with a Schiff base ligand as an organic linker, Ni3(bdda)2(OAc)2?6H2O (H2bdda = 4,4′‐[benzene‐1,4‐diylbis(methylylidenenitrilo)]dibenzoic acid), was synthesized and characterized using powder X‐ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller measurements, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, elemental analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The synthesized Ni‐MOF exhibited a high catalytic activity in benzyl alcohol oxidation using tert‐butyl hydroperoxide under solvent‐free conditions. Also, the efficiency of the catalyst was investigated in the cascade reaction of oxidation–Knoevanagel condensation under mild conditions. The Ni‐MOF catalyst could be recovered and reused four times without significant reduction in its catalytic activity.  相似文献

The water‐stable 3D lanthanide‐organic framework (Ln‐MOF) {[Eu(bci)(H2O)] · 2H2O}n ( 1 ) [H2bci = bis(2‐carboxyethyl)isocyanurate] was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Compound 1 ‐ Eu exhibits a 3D open‐framework connected by Eu–(μ‐O)2–Eu chains and bci ligands. Meanwhile, 1 ‐ Eu exhibits highly efficient luminescent sensing for environmentally relevant Fe3+ and SCN ions through luminescence quenching. These results indicated that it could be utilized as a multi‐responsive luminescence sensor.  相似文献

A series of isomorphic lanthanide metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) Ln(TATAB)?(DMF)4(H2O)(MeOH)0.5 (LnTATAB, Ln=Eu, Tb, Sm, Dy, Gd; H3TATAB=4,4′,4′′‐s‐triazine‐1,3,5‐triyltri‐p‐aminobenzoic acid) have been solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Among these MOFs, TbTATAB exhibits good water stability and a high fluorescence quantum yield. Because mercury ions (Hg2+) have a high affinity to nitrogen atoms, and the space between multiple nitrogen atoms from triazine and imino groups is suitable for interacting with Hg2+ ions, TbTATAB shows highly selective and sensitive detection of Hg2+ in aqueous solution with a detection limit of 4.4 nm . Furthermore, it was successfully applied to detect Hg2+ ions in natural water samples.  相似文献

Ligand L was synthesized and then coordinated to [Ln(hfac)3] ? 2 H2O (LnIII=Tb, Dy, Er; hfac?=1,1,1,5,5,5‐hexafluoroacetylacetonate anion) and [Ln(tta)3]?2 H2O (LnIII=Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Er, Yb; tta?=2‐thenoyltrifluoroacetonate) to give two families of dinuclear complexes [Ln2(hfac)6( L )] ? C6H14 and [Ln2(tta)6( L )] ? 2 CH2Cl2. Irradiation of the ligand at 37 040 cm?1 and 29 410 cm?1 leads to tetrathiafulvalene‐centered and 2,6‐di(pyrazol‐1‐yl)‐4‐pyridine‐centered fluorescence, respectively. The ligand acts as an organic chromophore for the sensitization of the infrared ErIII (6535 cm?1) and YbIII (10 200 cm?1) luminescence. The energies of the singlet and triplet states of L are high enough to guarantee an efficient sensitization of the visible EuIII luminescence (17 300–14 100 cm?1). The EuIII luminescence decay can be nicely fitted by a monoexponential function that allows a lifetime estimation of (0.49±0.01) ms. Finally, the magnetic and luminescence properties of [Yb2(hfac)6( L )] ? C6H14 were correlated, which allowed the determination of the crystal field splitting of the 2F7/2 multiplet state with MJ=±1/2 as ground states.  相似文献

Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted much interest in the fields of gas separation and storage, catalysis synthesis, nonlinear optics, sensors, luminescence, magnetism, photocatalysis gradation and crystal engineering because of their diverse properties and intriguing topologies. A Cu–MOF, namely poly[[(μ2‐succinato‐κ2O:O′){μ2‐tris[4‐(1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)phenyl]amine‐κ2N:N′}copper(II)] dihydrate], {[Cu(C4H4O4)(C24H18N10)]·2H2O}n or {[Cu(suc)(ttpa)]·2H2O}n, (I), was synthesized by the hydrothermal method using tris[4‐(1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)phenyl]amine (ttpa) and succinate (suc2?), and characterized by IR, powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD), luminescence, optical band gap and valence band X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (VB XPS). Cu–MOF (I) shows a twofold interpenetrating 4‐coordinated three‐dimensional CdSO4 topology with point symbol {65·8}. It presents good photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) and rhodamine B (RhB) under visible‐light irradiation. A photocatalytic mechanism was proposed and confirmed.  相似文献

Heteronuclear lanthanide‐based coordination polymers are microcrystalline powders, the luminescence properties of which can be precisely tuned by judicious choice of the rare‐earth ions. In this study, we demonstrate that such materials can also be obtained as stable solutions of nanoparticles in non‐toxic polyols. Bulk powders of the formula [Ln2?2xLn′2x(bdc)3 ? 4 H2O] (where H2bdc denotes 1,4‐benzene‐dicarboxylic acid, 0≤x≤1, and Ln and Ln′ denote lanthanide ions of the series La to Tm plus Y) afford nanoparticles that have been characterized by dynamic light‐scattering (DLS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) measurements. Their luminescence properties are similar to those of the bulk materials. Stabilities versus time and versus dilution with another solvent have been studied. This study has revealed that it is possible to tune the size of the nanoparticles. This process offers a reliable means of synthesizing suspensions of nanoparticles with tunable luminescence properties and tunable size distributions in a green solvent (glycerol). The process is also extendable to other coordination polymers and other solvents (ethylene glycol, for example). It constitutes a new route for the facile solubilization of lanthanide‐based coordination polymers.  相似文献

Metal?metal singly‐bonded diruthenium complexes, bridged by naphthyridine‐functionalized N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands featuring a hydroxy appendage on the naphthyridine unit, are obtained in a single‐pot reaction of [Ru2(CH3COO)2(CO)4] with 1‐benzyl‐3‐(5,7‐dimethyl‐1,8‐naphthyrid‐2‐yl)imidazolium bromide (BIN ? HBr) or 1‐isopropyl‐3‐(5,7‐dimethyl‐1,8‐naphthyrid‐2‐yl)imidazolium bromide (PIN ? HBr), TlBF4, and substituted benzaldehyde containing an electron‐withdrawing group. The modified NHC‐naphthyridine‐hydroxy ligand spans the diruthenium unit in which the NHC carbon and hydroxy oxygen occupy the axial sites. All the synthesized compounds catalyze acceptorless dehydrogenation of alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes in the presence of a catalytic amount of weak base 1,4‐diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO). Further, acceptorless dehydrogenative coupling (ADHC) of the alcohol with amines affords the corresponding imine as the sole product. The substrate scope is examined with 1 (BIN, p‐nitrobenzaldehyde). A similar complex [Ru2(CO)4(CH3COO)(3‐PhBIN)][Br], that is devoid of a hydroxy arm, is significantly less effective for the same reaction. Neutral complex 1 a , obtained by deprotonation of the hydroxy arm in 1 , is found to be active for the ADHC of alcohols and amines under base‐free conditions. A combination of control experiments, deuterium labeling, kinetic Hammett studies, and DFT calculations support metal–hydroxyl/hydroxide and metal–metal cooperation for alcohol activation and dehydrogenation. The bridging acetate plays a crucial role in allowing β‐hydride elimination to occur. The ligand architecture on the diruthenium core causes rapid aldehyde extrusion from the metal coordination sphere, which is responsible for exclusive imine formation.  相似文献

A facile synthesis of partially hydroxy‐modified MOF‐5 and its improved H2‐adsorption capacity by lithium doping are reported. The reaction of Zn(NO3)2 ? 6 H2O with a mixture of terephthalic acid (H2BDC) and 2‐hydroxyterephthalic acid (H2BDC‐OH) in DMF gave hydroxy‐modified MOF‐5 (MOF‐5‐OH‐x), in which the molar fraction (x) of BDC‐OH2? was up to 0.54 of the whole ligand. The MOF‐5‐OH‐x frameworks had high BET surface areas (about 3300 m2 g?1), which were comparable to that of MOF‐5. We suggest that the MOF‐5‐OH‐x frameworks are formed by the secondary growth of BDC2?‐rich MOF‐5 seed crystals, which are nucleated during the early stage of the reaction. Subsequent Li doping into MOF‐5‐OH‐x results in increased H2 uptake at 77 K and 0.1 MPa from 1.23 to 1.39 wt. % and an increased isosteric heat of H2 adsorption from 5.1–4.2 kJ mol?1 to 5.5–4.4 kJ mol?1.  相似文献

Lanthanide coordination polymers {[Ln(PTMTC)(EtOH)2H2O] ? x H2O, y EtOH} [Ln=Tb ( 1 ), Gd ( 2 ), and Eu ( 3 )] and {[Ln(αH? PTMTC)(EtOH)2H2O] ? x H2O, y EtOH} [Ln=Tb ( 1′ ), Gd ( 2′ ), and Eu ( 3′ )] have been prepared by reacting LnIII ions with tricarboxylate‐perchlorotriphenylmethyl/methane ligands that have a radical (PTMTC3?) or closed‐shell (αH? PTMTC3?) character, respectively. X‐ray diffraction analyses reveal 3D architectures that combine helical 1D channels and a fairly rare (6,3) connectivity described with the (42.8)?(44.62.85.104) Schäfli symbol. Such 3D architectures make these polymers porous solids upon departure of the non‐coordinated guest‐solvent molecules as confirmed by the XRD structure of the guest‐free [Tb(PTMTC)(EtOH)2H2O] and [Tb(αH? PTMTC)(EtOH)2H2O] materials. Accessible voids represent 40 % of the cell volume. Metal‐centered luminescence was observed in TbIII and EuIII coordination polymers 1′ and 3′ , although the LnIII‐ion luminescence was quenched when radical ligands were involved. The magnetic properties of all these compounds were investigated, and the nature of the {Ln–radical} (in 1 and 2 ) and the {radical–radical} exchange interactions (in 3 ) were assessed by comparing the behaviors for the radical‐based coordination polymers 1 – 3 with those of the compounds with the diamagnetic ligand set. Whilst antiferromagnetic {radical–radical} interactions were found in 3 , ferromagnetic {Ln–radical} interactions propagated in the 3D architectures of 1 and 2 .  相似文献

The molybdate‐catalysed transfer hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of benzyl alcohol to toluene driven by oxidation of the solvent isopropyl alcohol to acetone has been investigated by using a combination of experimental and computational methods. A Hammett study that compared the relative rates for the transfer HDO of five para‐substituted benzylic alcohols was carried out. Density‐functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest a transition state with significant loss of aromaticity contributes to the lack of linearity observed in the Hammett study. The transfer HDO could also be carried out in neat PhCH2OH at 175 °C. Under these conditions, PhCH2OH underwent disproportionation to yield benzaldehyde, toluene, and significant amounts of bibenzyl. Isotopic‐labelling experiments (using PhCH2OD and PhCD2OH) showed that incorporation of deuterium into the resultant toluene originated from the α position of benzyl alcohol, which is in line with the mechanism suggested by the DFT study.  相似文献

We report the dual postsynthetic modification (PSM) of a metal–organic framework (MOF) involving the microscopic conversion of C?H bonds into C?C bonds and the mesoscopic introduction of hierarchical porosity. MOF crystals underwent single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal transformations during the electrophilic aromatic substitution of Co2(m‐DOBDC) (m‐DOBDC4?=4,6‐dioxo‐1,3‐benzenedicarboxylate) with alkyl halides and formaldehyde. The steric hindrance caused by the proximity of the introduced functional groups to the coordination bonds reduced bond stability and facilitated the transformation into hierarchically porous mesostructures by etching with in situ generated protons (hydroniums) and halides. The numerous defect sites in the mesostructural MOFs are potential water‐sorption sites. However, since the introduced functional groups are close to the main adsorption sites, even methyl groups are able to considerably decrease water adsorption, whereas hydroxy groups increase adsorption at low vapor pressures.  相似文献

In this work, rare earth tris(borohydride) complexes, Ln(BH4)3(THF)3 (Ln = Sc, Y, La, and Dy), have been used to catalyze the ring‐opening polymerization of γ‐benzyl‐L ‐glutamate N‐carboxyanhydride (BLG NCA). All the catalysts show high activities and the resulting poly(γ‐benzyl‐L ‐glutamate)s (PBLGs) are recovered with high yields (≥90%). The molecular weights (MWs) of PBLG can be controlled by the molar ratios of monomer to catalyst, and the MW distributions (MWDs) are relatively narrow (as low as 1.16) depending on the rare earth metals and reaction temperatures. Block copolypeptides can be easily synthesized by the sequential addition of two monomers. The obtained P(γ‐benzyl‐L ‐glutamate‐b‐ε‐carbobenzoxy‐L ‐lysine) [P(BLG‐b‐BLL)] and P(γ‐benzyl‐L ‐glutamate‐b‐alanine) [P(BLG‐b‐ALA)] have been well characterized by NMR, gel permeation chromatography, and differential scanning calorimetry measurements. A random copolymer P(BLG‐co‐BLL) with a narrow MWD of 1.07 has also been synthesized. The polymerization mechanisms have been investigated in detail. The results show that both nucleophilic attack at the 5‐CO of NCA and deprotonation of 3‐NH of NCA in the initiation process take place simultaneously, resulting in two active centers, that is, an yttrium ALA carbamate derivative [H2BOCH2(CH)NHC(O)OLn? ] and a N‐yttriumlated ALA NCA. Propagation then proceeds on these centers via both normal monomer insertion and polycondensation. After termination, two kinds of telechelic polypeptide chains, that is, α‐hydroxyl‐ω‐aminotelechelic chains and α‐carboxylic‐ω‐aminotelechelic ones, are formed as characterized by MALDI‐TOF MS, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 1H–1H COSY, and 1H–13C HMQC measurements. By decreasing the reaction temperature, the normal monomer insertion pathway can be exclusively selected, forming an unprecedented α‐hydroxyl‐ω‐aminotelechelic polypeptide. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The reaction of lanthanide(III) nitrates with 4‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyleneamino‐1,2,4‐triazole (L) was studied. The compounds [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] ? 2 L, in which Ln=Eu ( 1 ), Gd ( 2 ), Tb ( 3 ), or Dy ( 4 ), obtained in a mixture of MeCN/EtOH have the same structure, as shown by XRD. In the crystals of these compounds, the mononuclear complex units [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] are linked to L molecules through intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions to form a 2D polymeric supramolecular architecture. An investigation into the optical characteristics of the Eu3+‐, Tb3+‐, and Dy3+‐containing compounds ( 1 , 3 , and 4 ) showed that these complexes displayed metal‐centered luminescence. According to magnetic measurements, compound 4 exhibits single‐ion magnet behavior, with ΔEeff/kB=86 K in a field of 1500 Oe.  相似文献

By using the node‐and‐spacer approach in suitable solvents, four new heterotrimetallic 1D chain‐like compounds (that is, containing 3d–3d′–4f metal ions), {[Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)Fe(Tp*)(CN)3] ? 2 CH3CN ? CH3OH}n (H2L=N,N′‐bis(3‐methoxysalicylidene)‐1,3‐diaminopropane, Tp*=hydridotris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl)borate; Ln=Gd ( 1 ), Dy ( 2 ), Tb ( 3 ), Nd ( 4 )), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. All of these compounds are made up of a neutral cyanide‐ and phenolate‐bridged heterotrimetallic chain, with a {? Fe? C?N? Ni(? O? Ln)? N?C? }n repeat unit. Within these chains, each [(Tp*)Fe(CN)3]? entity binds to the NiII ion of the [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ motif through two of its three cyanide groups in a cis mode, whereas each [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ unit is linked to two [(Tp*)Fe(CN)3]? ions through the NiII ion in a trans mode. In the [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ unit, the NiII and LnIII ions are bridged to one other through two phenolic oxygen atoms of the ligand (L). Compounds 1 – 4 are rare examples of 1D cyanide‐ and phenolate‐bridged 3d–3d′–4f helical chain compounds. As expected, strong ferromagnetic interactions are observed between neighboring FeIII and NiII ions through a cyanide bridge and between neighboring NiII and LnIII (except for NdIII) ions through two phenolate bridges. Further magnetic studies show that all of these compounds exhibit single‐chain magnetic behavior. Compound 2 exhibits the highest effective energy barrier (58.2 K) for the reversal of magnetization in 3d/4d/5d–4f heterotrimetallic single‐chain magnets.  相似文献

Herein we report the fabrication of an advanced sensor for the detection of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) at room temperature, using thin films of rare‐earth metal (RE)‐based metal–organic framework (MOF) with underlying fcu topology. This unique MOF‐based sensor is made via the in situ growth of fumarate‐based fcu ‐MOF (fum‐ fcu ‐MOF) thin film on a capacitive interdigitated electrode. The sensor showed a remarkable detection sensitivity for H2S at concentrations down to 100 ppb, with the lower detection limit around 5 ppb. The fum‐ fcu ‐MOF sensor exhibits a highly desirable detection selectivity towards H2S vs. CH4, NO2, H2, and C7H8 as well as an outstanding H2S sensing stability as compared to other reported MOFs.  相似文献
