Regioselective photodimerization of trans‐4‐styrylpyridine (4‐spy) derivatives is performed using pseudorotaxane‐like Zn‐based metal organic frameworks MOFs as templates. The formation of rctt‐HT (head‐to‐tail) dimers is achieved by confining pairs of coordinated 4‐spy derivative ligands within hexagonal windows and then irradiating them with UV light. It is also possible to achieve a photodimerization reaction where two different substituted 4‐spy ligands are included in such a MOF material. The ether bond formation is employed to protect the sensitive ‐OH group of HO‐spy and the methyl group of CH3O‐spy is subsequently removed after the formation of cyclobutane derivative in the CH3O‐spy‐based MOF. Introducing substituents at the 2‐ or 3‐position of the phenyl group of 4‐spy does not significantly affect the rate of the dimerization process except in the case of the strongly electron‐withdrawing nitro group where the rate is significantly decreased. These results are in striking contrast to the mixtures of photoproducts and low yields obtained by untemplated photodimerization in organic solvents. 相似文献

The rapid development of organic electronics is closely related to the availability of molecular materials with specific electronic properties. Here, we introduce a novel synthetic route enabling a unilateral functionalization of acenes along their long side, which is demonstrated by the synthesis of 1,2,10,11,12,14‐hexafluoropentacene ( 1 ) and the related 1,2,9,10,11‐pentafluorotetracene ( 2 ). Quantum chemical DFT calculations in combination with optical and X‐ray absorption spectroscopy data indicate that the single‐molecule properties of 1 are a connecting link between the organic semiconductor model systems pentacene (PEN) and perfluoropentacene (PFP). In contrast, the crystal structure analysis reveals a different packing motif than for the parent molecules. This can be related to distinct F???H interactions identified in the corresponding Hirshfeld surface analysis and also affects solid‐state properties such as the exciton binding energy and the sublimation enthalpy. 相似文献

Semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs) possess high photoluminescence (PL) typically in the solution phase. In contrary, PL rapidly quenches in the solid state. Efficient solid state luminescence can be achieved by inducing a large Stokes shift. Here we report on a novel synthesis of compositionally controlled CuCdS NCs in air avoiding the usual complexity of using inert atmosphere. These NCs show long‐range color tunability over the entire visible range with a remarkable Stokes shift up to about 1.25 eV. Overcoating the NCs leads to a high solid‐state PL quantum yield (QY) of ca. 55 % measured by using an integrating sphere. Unique charge carrier recombination mechanisms have been recognized from the NCs, which are correlated to the internal NC structure probed by using extended X‐ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy. EXAFS measurements show a Cu‐rich surface and Cd‐rich interior with 46 % CuI being randomly distributed within 84 % of the NC volume creating additional transition states for PL. Color‐tunable solid‐state luminescence remains stable in air enabling fabrication of light‐emitting diodes (LEDs). 相似文献

以N,N-二甲基-1,3-丙二胺、固体光气、溴代烷为原料合成了三种新型含脲基双子表面活性剂(LY-12、LY-14、LY-16),并通过1H NMR、ESI-MS和FT-IR表征了结构。测定了其Krafft点、乳化性能、起泡性能;通过测定表面张力γcmc以及不同温度下的临界胶束浓度(CMC)计算表面活性参数(Γmax、Amin、pc20)与热力学参数(ΔGmθ、ΔHmθ、ΔSmθ)。结果表明,LY-12、LY-14的Krafft点低于0℃,LY-16的Krafft点低于10℃;LY-12、LY-14、LY-16的乳化时间分别为173、275和338 s;LY-12的起泡性显著优于LY-14和LY-16;三种表面活性剂的表面张力γcmc分别为38. 77、37. 42和36. 59 m N/m;298. 15K条件下,其CMC值分别为0. 19、0. 15、0. 13 mmol/L。表面活性参数与热力学参数计算表明,三种表面活性剂均具有高的表面活性且胶束的形成是熵驱动的自发放热过程。 相似文献

A series of novel metal‐free organic dyes containing the thiazolo[5,4‐d]thiazole moiety were designed and synthesized for quasi‐solid‐state dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Different alkoxy chains were introduced into the electron donor part of the dye molecules for comparison. The optical, electrochemical, and photovoltaic properties for all sensitizers were systematically investigated. It was found that the sensitizers with the different alkoxy groups have similar photophysical and electrochemical properties, such as absorbance and energy levels, owing to their close chemical structures. However, the quasi‐solid‐state DSSCs based on the resulting sensitizers exhibit different performance parameters. The quasi‐solid‐state DSSC based on sensitizer FNE74 with two octyloxy chains possessed the highest solar energy conversion efficiency of 5.10 % under standard AM 1.5G sunlight illumination without the use of coadsorbant agents. 相似文献

A series of 6,13‐diamino‐substituted pentacenes 1 a – d has been prepared and characterized as a new class of pentacene derivatives with strong donor ability and enhanced solubility in common organic solvents. The spectroelectrochemical and DFT studies revealed that the two‐electron oxidation process was accompanied by the substantial structural change into a butterfly‐like conformation of the pentacene moiety. More importantly, the extent of deformation from the planar pentacene moiety in the dications of 6,13‐diaminopentacene is tunable by varying the N‐substituents. 相似文献

Organic electrode materials are promising for green and sustainable lithium‐ion batteries. However, the high solubility of organic materials in the liquid electrolyte results in the shuttle reaction and fast capacity decay. Herein, azo compounds are firstly applied in all‐solid‐state lithium batteries (ASSLB) to suppress the dissolution challenge. Due to the high compatibility of azobenzene (AB) based compounds to Li3PS4 (LPS) solid electrolyte, the LPS solid electrolyte is used to prevent the dissolution and shuttle reaction of AB. To maintain the low interface resistance during the large volume change upon cycling, a carboxylate group is added into AB to provide 4‐(phenylazo) benzoic acid lithium salt (PBALS), which could bond with LPS solid electrolyte via the ionic bonding between oxygen in PBALS and lithium ion in LPS. The ionic bonding between the active material and solid electrolyte stabilizes the contact interface and enables the stable cycle life of PBALS in ASSLB. 相似文献

Single‐ion magnets (SIMs) are the smallest possible magnetic devices and are a controllable, bottom‐up approach to nanoscale magnetism with potential applications in quantum computing and high‐density information storage. In this work, we take advantage of the promising, but yet insufficiently explored, solid‐state chemistry of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) to report the single‐crystal to single‐crystal inclusion of such molecular nanomagnets within the pores of a magnetic MOF. The resulting host–guest supramolecular aggregate is used as a playground in the first in‐depth study on the interplay between the internal magnetic field created by the long‐range magnetic ordering of the structured MOF and the slow magnetic relaxation of the SIM. 相似文献

Coordination polymers serving as molecular magnetic refrigerants have been attracting great interest. In particular, coordination cluster compounds that demonstrate their apparent advantages on cryogenic magnetic refrigerants have attracted more attention in the last five years. Herein, we mainly focus on depicting aspects of syntheses, structures, and magnetothermal properties of coordination clusters that serve as magnetic refrigerants on account of the magnetocaloric effect. The documented molecular magnetic refrigerants are classified into two primary categories according to the types of metal centers, namely, homo‐ and heterometallic clusters. Every section is further divided into several subgroups based on the metal nuclearity and their dimensionalities, including discrete molecular clusters and those with extended structures constructed from molecular clusters. The objective is to present a rough overview of recent progress in coordination‐cluster‐based molecular magnetic refrigerants and provide a tutorial for researchers who are interested in the field.
