A one‐pot/one‐step synthesis strategy was developed for the preparation of a nitrogen‐doped carbon nanoarchitecture with graphene‐nanosheet growth on the inner surface of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The N‐graphene/CNT hybrids exhibit outstanding electrocatalytic activity for several important electrochemical reactions as a result of their unique morphology and defect structures, such as high but uniform nitrogen doping, graphene insertion into CNTs, considerable surface area, and the presence of iron nanoparticles. The high‐yield synthetic process features high efficiency, low‐cost, straightforward operation, and simple equipment.  相似文献

Graphene is a 2D sp2‐hybridized carbon sheet and an ideal material for the adsorption‐based separation of organic pollutants. However, such potential applications of graphene are largely limited, owing to their poor solubility and extensive aggregation properties through graphene? graphene interactions. Herein, we report the synthesis of graphene‐based composites with γ‐Fe2O3 nanoparticle for the high‐performance removal of endocrine‐disrupting compounds (EDC) from water. The γ‐Fe2O3 nanoparticles partially inhibit these graphene? graphene interactions and offer water dispersibility of the composite without compromising much of the high surface area of graphene. In their dispersed form, the graphene component offers the efficient adsorption of EDC, whilst the magnetic iron‐oxide component offers easier magnetic separation of adsorbed EDC.  相似文献

A new hybrid material consisting of ferrocene and layered carbon (LC: graphene oxide (GO) or reduced graphene oxide (RGO)) was prepared through a facile intercalation approach. The structure of ferrocene was well maintained while the strong π-π interaction between LC and ferrocene remarkably suppressed the sublimation of ferrocene and promoted ferrocene to decompose into iron nanoparticles in between layers of LC. The hybrid exhibited excellent electrochemical properties in electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA).  相似文献

The increasing use of lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) in high‐power applications requires improvement of their high‐temperature electrochemical performance, including their cyclability and rate capability. Spinel lithium manganese oxide (LiMn2O4) is a promising cathode material because of its high stability and abundance. However, it exhibits poor cycling performance at high temperatures owing to Mn dissolution. Herein we show that when stoichiometric lithium manganese oxide is coated with highly doped spinels, the resulting epitaxial coating has a hierarchical atomic structure consisting of cubic‐spinel, tetragonal‐spinel, and layered structures, and no interfacial phase is formed. In a practical application of the coating to doped spinel, the material retained 90 % of its capacity after 800 cycles at 60 °C. Thus, the formation of an epitaxial coating with a hierarchical atomic structure could enhance the electrochemical performance of LIB cathode materials while preventing large losses in capacity.  相似文献

Rational composite materials made from transition metal sulfides and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) are highly desirable for designing high‐performance lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). Here, rGO‐coated or sandwiched CoSx composites are fabricated through facile thermal sulfurization of metal–organic framework/GO precursors. By scrupulously changing the proportion of Co2+ and organic ligands and the solvent of the reaction system, we can tune the forms of GO as either a coating or a supporting layer. Upon testing as anode materials for LIBs, the as‐prepared CoSx‐rGO‐CoSx and rGO@CoSx composites demonstrate brilliant electrochemical performances such as high initial specific capacities of 1248 and 1320 mA h g?1, respectively, at a current density of 100 mA g?1, and stable cycling abilities of 670 and 613 mA h g?1, respectively, after 100 charge/discharge cycles, as well as superior rate capabilities. The excellent electrical conductivity and porous structure of the CoSx/rGO composites can promote Li+ transfer and mitigate internal stress during the charge/discharge process, thus significantly improving the electrochemical performance of electrode materials.  相似文献

Core‐shell carbon‐coated LiFePO4 nanoparticles were hybridized with reduced graphene (rGO) for high‐power lithium‐ion battery cathodes. Spontaneous aggregation of hydrophobic graphene in aqueous solutions during the formation of composite materials was precluded by employing hydrophilic graphene oxide (GO) as starting templates. The fabrication of true nanoscale carbon‐coated LiFePO4‐rGO (LFP/C‐rGO) hybrids were ascribed to three factors: 1) In‐situ polymerization of polypyrrole for constrained nanoparticle synthesis of LiFePO4, 2) enhanced dispersion of conducting 2D networks endowed by colloidal stability of GO, and 3) intimate contact between active materials and rGO. The importance of conducting template dispersion was demonstrated by contrasting LFP/C‐rGO hybrids with LFP/C‐rGO composites in which agglomerated rGO solution was used as the starting templates. The fabricated hybrid cathodes showed superior rate capability and cyclability with rates from 0.1 to 60 C. This study demonstrated the synergistic combination of nanosizing with efficient conducting templates to afford facile Li+ ion and electron transport for high power applications.  相似文献

In most graphene‐based electrochemical applications, graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) have been applied. Now, for the first time, electrochemical properties of GNPs, namely, its electrochemical activity, potential window, and double‐layer capacitance, have been investigated. These properties are compared with those of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). GNP‐ and CNT‐coated electrodes were then applied for electrochemical oxidation of endocrine‐disrupting chemicals. The GNP‐coated electrode was characterized by atomic force microscopy and electrochemical techniques. Compared with the CNT‐coated electrode, higher peak current for the oxidation of 4‐nonylphenol is achieved on the GNP‐coated electrode, together with lower capacitive current. Electrochemical oxidation of 2,4‐dichlorophenol, bisphenol A, and octylphenol in the absence or presence of 4‐nonylphenol was studied on the GNP‐coated electrode. The results suggest that GNPs have better electrochemical performance than CNTs and are thus more promising for electrochemical applications, for example, electrochemical detection and removal of endocrine‐disrupting chemicals.  相似文献

A simple pH‐responsive magnetic solid‐phase extraction method was developed using graphene oxide–coated nanoscale zerovalent iron nanoparticles as an efficient adsorbent prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometry for determination of ultra‐trace quinolones in milk samples. Various parameters affecting maghemite synthesis and separation such as pH of sample solution, amount of magnetic adsorbent, eluent type, and volume were optimized. The limits of detection are from 3.1 to 13.3 ng/L. The intra‐ and interprecision values are in the range of 2.9–6.9% and 7.6–15.1%, respectively. Recoveries are from 82.4 to 103.9%. Therefore, this simple and sensitive method is suitable for detecting ultra‐trace quinolone residues in milk.  相似文献

Graphene‐based nanohybrid is considered to be the most promising nanomaterial for electrochemical sensing applications due to the defects created on the graphene oxide layers. These defects provide graphene oxide unique properties, such as excellent conductivity, large specific surface area, and electrocatalytic activity. These unique properties encourage scientists to develop novel graphene‐based nanohybrids and improve the sensing efficiency. This review, therefore, addresses this topic by comprehensively discussing the strategies to fabricate novel graphene based nanohybrids with high sensitivity. The combinations of graphene with various nanomaterials, such as metal nanoclusters, metal compound nanoparticles, carbon materials, polymers and peptides, in the direction of electrochemical sensing, were systematically analyzed. Meanwhile, the challenges in the functional design and application of graphene‐based nanohybrids were described and the reasonable solutions were proposed.  相似文献

The synthesis of nanoporous graphene by a convenient carbon nanofiber assisted self‐assembly approach is reported. Porous structures with large pore volumes, high surface areas, and well‐controlled pore sizes were achieved by employing spherical silica as hard templates with different diameters. Through a general wet‐immersion method, transition‐metal oxide (Fe3O4, Co3O4, NiO) nanocrystals can be easily loaded into nanoporous graphene papers to form three‐dimensional flexible nanoarchitectures. When directly applied as electrodes in lithium‐ion batteries and supercapacitors, the materials exhibited superior electrochemical performances, including an ultra‐high specific capacity, an extended long cycle life, and a high rate capability. In particular, nanoporous Fe3O4–graphene composites can deliver a reversible specific capacity of 1427.5 mAh g?1 at a high current density of 1000 mA g?1 as anode materials in lithium‐ion batteries. Furthermore, nanoporous Co3O4–graphene composites achieved a high supercapacitance of 424.2 F g?1. This work demonstrated that the as‐developed freestanding nanoporous graphene papers could have significant potential for energy storage and conversion applications.  相似文献

Graphene nanosheets were produced on the surface of carbon fibers by in situ electrochemical procedure including oxidative and reductive steps to yield first graphene oxide, later converted to graphene. The electrode material composed of graphene‐functionalized carbon fibers was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and cyclic voltammery demonstrating superior electrochemical kinetics comparing with the original carbon paper. The interfacial electron transfer rate for the reversible redox process of [Fe(CN)6]3?/4? was found ca. 4.5‐fold higher after the electrode modification with the graphene nanosheets. The novel electrode material is suggested as a promising conducting interface for bioelectrocatalytic electrodes used in various electrochemical biosensors and biofuel cells, particularly operating in vivo.  相似文献

Controlling the chemistry of graphene is necessary to enable applications in materials and life sciences. Research beyond graphene oxide is targeted to avoid the highly defective character of the carbon framework. Herein, we show how to optimize the synthesis of oxo‐functionalized graphene (oxo‐G) to prepare high‐quality monolayer flakes that even allow for direct transmission electron microscopy investigation at atomic resolution (HRTEM). The role of undesired residuals is addressed and sources are eliminated. HRTEM provides clear evidence for the exceptional integrity of the carbon framework of such oxo‐G sheets. The patchy distribution of oxo‐functionality on the nm‐scale, observed on our highly clean oxo‐G sheets, corroborates theoretical predictions. Moreover, defined electron‐beam irradiation facilitates gentle de‐functionalization of oxo‐G sheets, a new route towards clean graphene, which is a breakthrough for localized graphene chemistry.  相似文献

The electrode materials with hollow structure and/or graphene coating are expected to exhibit outstanding electrochemical performances in energy‐storage systems. 2D graphene‐wrapped hollow C/Fe3O4 microspheres are rationally designed and fabricated by a novel facile and scalable strategy. The core@double‐shell structure SPS@FeOOH@GO (SPS: sulfonated polystyrene, GO: graphene oxide) microspheres are first prepared through a simple one‐pot approach and then transformed into C/Fe3O4@G (G: graphene) after calcination at 500 °C in Ar. During calcination, the Kirkendall effect resulting from the diffusion/reaction of SPS‐derived carbon and FeOOH leads to the formation of hollow structure carbon with Fe3O4 nanoparticles embedded in it. In the rationally constructed architecture of C/Fe3O4@G, the strongly coupled C/Fe3O4 hollow microspheres are further anchored onto 2D graphene networks, achieving a strong synergetic effect between carbon, Fe3O4, and graphene. As an anode material of Li‐ion batteries (LIBs), C/Fe3O4@G manifests a high reversible capacity, excellent rate behavior, and outstanding long‐term cycling performance (1208 mAh g?1 after 200 cycles at 100 mA g?1).  相似文献

A novel method was developed to simultaneously determine the ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin levels in human urine using an ionic‐liquid‐based, dual‐molecularly imprinted polymer‐coated graphene oxide solid‐phase extraction monolithic column coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography. The molecularly imprinted monolithic column was prepared using ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin as templates, 1‐vinyl‐3‐ethylimidazolium bromide as the functional monomer, and graphene oxide as the core material. The resulting imprinted monoliths were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and fourier transform‐infrared spectroscopy. The efficiency and capacity of the ionic‐liquid‐based imprinted monolithic column were investigated by varying the synthesis conditions (ciprofloxacin/levofloxacin ratio and template/functional monomer/cross‐linker ratio). The solid‐phase extraction process was optimized by changing the washing and eluting conditions. The results suggested that the proposed ionic‐liquid‐based molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction monolithic‐high‐performance liquid chromatography method could separate ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin efficiently and simultaneously from human urine. The mean recoveries of ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin ranged from 89.2 to 93.8 and 86.7 to 94.6%, respectively. The intra‐ and interday relative standard deviation ranged from 0.9 to 3.2 and 0.8 to 2.9%, respectively. Under the optimized conditions, the recoveries of ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin were more than 93.8%.  相似文献

The morphology‐ and size‐controlled synthesis of branched Pt nanostructures on graphene is highly favorable for enhancing the electrocatalytic activity and stability of Pt. Herein, a facile approach is developed for the efficient synthesis of well‐dispersed Pt nanoflowers (PtNFs) on the surface of polydopamine (PDA)‐modified reduced graphene oxide (PDRGO), denoted as PtNFs/PDRGO, in high yield. The synthesis was performed by a simple heating treatment of an aqueous solution that contained K2PtCl4 and PDA‐modified graphene oxide (GO) without the need for any additional reducing agent, seed, surfactant, or organic solvent. The coated PDA serves not only as a reducing agent, but also as cross‐linker to anchor and stabilize PtNFs on the PDRGO support. The as‐prepared PtNFs/PDRGO hybrid, with spatially and locally separated PtNFs on PDRGO, exhibits superior electrocatalytic activity and stability toward both methanol oxidation reaction (MOR) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in alkaline solutions.  相似文献

Heteroatom doping is an effective method to adjust the electrochemical behavior of carbonaceous materials. In this work, boron‐doped, carbon‐coated SnO2/graphene hybrids (BCTGs) were fabricated by hydrothermal carbonization of sucrose in the presence of SnO2/graphene nanosheets and phenylboronic acid or boric acid as dopant source and subsequent thermal treatment. Owing to their unique 2D core–shell architecture and B‐doped carbon shells, BCTGs have enhanced conductivity and extra active sites for lithium storage. With phenylboronic acid as B source, the resulting hybrid shows outstanding electrochemical performance as the anode in lithium‐ion batteries with a highly stable capacity of 1165 mA h g?1 at 0.1 A g?1 after 360 cycles and an excellent rate capability of 600 mA h g?1 at 3.2 A g?1, and thus outperforms most of the previously reported SnO2‐based anode materials.  相似文献

Conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) as emerging porous materials with diverse structures and tunable building‐units have attracted much attention in the electrochemical field. Herein, we designed phthalocyanine‐porphyrin‐based conjugated microporous polymers as precursors for fabrication of Co, Fe, N tri‐doped graphene composites towards oxygen reduction and evolution reaction (ORR/OER). As expected, the elements cobalt and iron are well dispersed in graphene carbon and interact with the nitrogen sites, thereby providing extra electrocatalytic active sites and enhancing its overall conductivity. Benefiting from its unique design and structure, the obtained catalyst affords a superior bifunctional catalytic activity with a positive onset potential of 0.957 V for ORR, and a low overpotential of 0.36 V for OER. More attractively, the CoFeNG is employed as an air cathode catalyst in Zn‐air batteries, showing a maximum current density of 215 mA cm?2 and good cycle stability for 20000 s. The rational design of phthalocyanine‐porphyrin‐based derivatives provides a feasible route for the construction of high‐performance ORR/OER catalysts.  相似文献

The fundamental understanding of the relationship between the nanostructure of an electrode and its electrochemical performance is crucial for achieving high‐performance lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). In this work, the relationship between the nanotubular aspect ratio and electrochemical performance of LIBs is elucidated for the first time. The stirring hydrothermal method was used to control the aspect ratio of viscous titanate nanotubes, which were used to fabricate additive‐free TiO2‐based electrode materials. We found that the battery performance at high charging/discharging rates is dramatically boosted when the aspect ratio is increased, due to the optimization of electronic/ionic transport properties within the electrode materials. The proof‐of‐concept LIBs comprising nanotubes with an aspect ratio of 265 can retain more than 86 % of their initial capacity over 6000 cycles at a high rate of 30 C. Such devices with supercapacitor‐like rate performance and battery‐like capacity herald a new paradigm for energy storage systems.  相似文献

Graphene/mono‐(6‐amino‐6‐deoxy)‐β‐cyclodextrin multilayer films composed of graphene sheet (GS) and mono‐(6‐amino‐6‐deoxy)‐β‐cyclodextrin (NH2β‐CD) were fabricated easily by two steps. First, negatively charged graphene oxide (GO) and positively charged mono‐(6‐amino‐6‐deoxy)‐β‐cyclodextrin (NH2β‐CD) were layer‐by‐layer (LBL) self‐assembled on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with a layer of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA). Then graphene/mono‐(6‐amino‐6‐deoxy)‐β‐cyclodextrin (GS/NH2β‐CD) multilayer films were built up by electrochemical reduction of graphene oxide/mono‐(6‐amino‐6‐deoxy)‐β‐cyclodextrin (GO/NH2β‐CD). Combining the high surface area of GS and the active recognition sites on β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD), the GS/NH2β‐CD multilayer films show excellent electrochemical sensing performance for the detection of DA with an extraordinary broad linear range from 2.53 to 980.05 µmol·L?1. This study offers a simple route to the controllable formation of graphene‐based electrochemical sensor for the detection of DA.  相似文献
