A novel fluorinated aromatic dianhydride, 4,4′‐[2,2,2‐trifluoro‐1‐(3‐trifluoromethyl‐phenyl)ethylidene]diphthalic anhydride (TFDA) was synthesized by coupling of 3′‐trifluoromethyl‐2,2,2‐trifluoroacetophenone with o‐xylene under the catalysis of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, followed by oxidation of KMnO4 and dehydration. A series of fluorinated aromatic polyimides derived from the novel fluorinated aromatic dianhydride TFDA with various aromatic diamines, such as p‐phenylenediamine (p‐PDA), 4,4′‐oxydianiline (ODA), 1,4‐bis(4‐aminophenoxy)benzene (p‐APB), 1,3‐bis(4‐amino‐phenoxy)benzene (m‐APB), 4‐(4‐aminophenoxy)‐3‐trifluoromethylphenylamine (3FODA) and 1,4‐bis(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)benzene (6FAPB), were prepared by polycondensation procedure. All the fluorinated polyimides were soluble in many polar organic solvents such as NMP, DMAc, DMF, and m‐cresol, as well as some of low boiling point organic solvents such as CHCl3, THF, and acetone. Homogeneous and stable polyimide solutions with solid content as high as 35–40 wt % could be achieved, which were prepared by strong and flexible polyimide films or coatings. The polymer films have good thermal stability with the glass transition temperature of 232–322 °C, the temperature at 5% weight loss of 500–530 °C in nitrogen, and have outstanding mechanical properties with the tensile strengths of 80.5–133.2 MPa as well as elongations at breakage of 7.1–12.6%. It was also found that the polyimide films derived from TFDA and fluorinated aromatic diamines possess low dielectric constants of 2.75–3.02, a low dissipation factor in the range of 1.27–4.50 × 10?3, and low moisture absorptions <1.3%. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Catalytic enantioselective α‐fluorination reactions of carbonyl compounds are among the most powerful and efficient synthetic methods for constructing optically active α‐fluorinated carbonyl compounds. Nevertheless, α‐fluorination of α‐nonbranched carboxylic acid derivatives is still a big challenge because of relatively high pKa values of their α‐hydrogen atoms and difficulty of subsequent synthetic transformation without epimerization. Herein we show that chiral copper(II) complexes of 3‐(2‐naphthyl)‐l ‐alanine‐derived amides are highly effective catalysts for the enantio‐ and site‐selective α‐fluorination of N‐(α‐arylacetyl) and N‐(α‐alkylacetyl) 3,5‐dimethylpyrazoles. The substrate scope of the transformation is very broad (25 examples including a quaternary α‐fluorinated α‐amino acid derivative). α‐Fluorinated products were converted into the corresponding esters, secondary amides, tertiary amides, ketones, and alcohols with almost no epimerization in high yield.  相似文献

A novel, fluorinated diamine monomer, 2,5‐bis(4‐amino‐2‐ trifluoromethylphenoxy)‐tert‐butylbenzene ( II ) was synthesized through the nucleophilic substitution reaction of tert‐butylhydroquinone (t‐BHQ) and 2‐chloro‐5‐nitrobenzotrifluoride in the presence of potassium carbonate to yield the intermediate dinitro compound I , followed by catalytic reduction with hydrazine and Pd/C to afford diamine II . A series of fluorinated polyimides V were prepared from II with various aromatic dianhydrides ( III a–f ) via the thermal imidization of poly(amic acid). Most of V a–f could be soluble in amide‐type solvents and even in less polar solvents. These polyimide films showed tensile strengths up to 106 MPa, elongation at break up to 21%, and initial modulus up to 2.1 GPa. The glass‐transition temperature of V was recorded at 245–304 °C, the 10% weight loss temperatures were above 488 °C, and left more than 41% residue even at 800 °C in nitrogen. Low dielectric constants, low moisture absorptions, and higher and light‐colored transmittances were also observed. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A reddish‐brown fluoroalkyl end‐capped 2‐acrylamido‐2‐methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS) oligomer/acetone composite was prepared by heating the white oligomer powder with acetone at 80 °C for 3 h. The color was not observed in the corresponding non‐fluorinated AMPS oligomer/acetone composite, which was prepared under similar conditions. The coloring was probably caused by the formation of acetone polyaldol condensation products in the fluorinated oligomeric gel network cores. The colored RF‐(AMPS)n‐RF/acetone composite powders were stable and did not exhibit any color change after 2 years in natural light at room temperature. The colored composite powders dissolved in methanol to give a reddish‐brown solution at room temperature. However, the retro‐polyaldol condensation decolored the solution after 1 day at room temperature. This is the first example of the retro‐aldol polycondensation of acetone under mild conditions. The decoloration increased by between 38‐ and 70‐fold under UV irradiation, compared with that in dark conditions. The coloring–decoloring behavior was consistent and repeatable; therefore our fluorinated oligomer/acetone composites are promising candidates for new fluorinated coloring materials. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this research, a new fluorinated diamine based on 2,2′‐substituted 1,1′‐binaphthyl units, 2,2′‐bis(2‐amino‐4‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl (AFPBN) was synthesized and then used to prepare the corresponding ortho‐linked poly(ether‐imide)s via chemical polyimidization with several aromatic carboxylic dianhydrides. The resulting poly(ether‐imide)s were fully characterized by FT‐IR, NMR, viscosity measurements, gel‐permeation chromatography, UV–vis, X‐ray diffraction, organo‐solubility, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and differential scanning calorimetry. Probing optical behavior of the colorless films prepared from these poly(ether‐imide)s demonstrated that they possess a high degree of optical transparency, and UV–visible absorption cut‐off wavelength values were found to be in the range of 404–471 nm. The resulting polymers exhibited excellent organo‐solubility in polar solvents such as dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, pyridine, and even tetrahydrofuran. To investigate the heat stability of the samples, their thermograms obtained from TGA were plotted, and for example, it is found that the 10% weight loss temperature of representative polymer AFPBN/3,3′,4,4′‐benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride occurred at 532°C in nitrogen. These poly(ether‐imide)s had glass‐transition temperatures (Tg's) up to 280°C. Two previously prepared analogues of AFPBN, i.e. nonfluorinated diamine DAM1 and para‐linked fluorinated diamine DAM2 used to prepare the corresponding poly(ether‐imide)s, were also considered to compare the results obtained. The title compound, 3‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]‐1‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C17H17NO2, is a chalcone derivative substituted by 2′‐hydroxyl and 4′′‐dimethylamino groups. The crystal structure indicates that the aniline and hydroxyphenyl groups are nearly coplanar, with a dihedral angle of 10.32 (16)° between their phenyl rings. The molecular planarity of this substituted chalcone is strongly affected by the 2′‐hydroxyl group.  相似文献

In the molecules of 5‐amino‐1‐phenyltetrazole, C7H7N5, (I), and 5‐amino‐1‐(1‐naphthyl)tetrazole, C11H9N5, (II), the tetrazole rings and aryl fragments are not coplanar; corresponding dihedral angles are 50.58 (5) and 45.19 (7)° for the two independent molecules of (I), and 64.14 (5)° for (II). Intermolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds between the amino groups and tetrazole N atoms are primarily responsible for formation of two‐dimensional networks extending parallel to the bc plane in both compounds. The presence of the amino group has a distinct effect on the geometry of the tetrazole rings in each case.  相似文献

Aromatic ketones such as 4′‐methoxyacetophenone (MAP), acetophenone (AP), 4‐acetylbiphenyl (ABP), and 2‐acetyl‐6‐methoxynapthalene (AMN) interacted with fluoroalkyl end‐capped 2‐acrylamido‐2‐methylpropanesulfonic acid oligomer [RF‐(AMPS)n‐RF] at 80°C for 3 h to give the corresponding fluorinated oligomer/aromatic ketones composites. In these composites, the RF‐(AMPS)n‐RF/MAP and /AP composites were found to give the homoaldol condensation products of MAP and AP, respectively. In contrast, the corresponding non‐fluorinated AMPS oligomer/MAP and sulfuric acid/MAP composites could not give the homoaldol product at all under similar conditions. This suggests that the RF‐(AMPS)n‐RF oligomer could provide the suitable fluorinated oligomeric gel newtwok cores to interact with MAP or AP as a guest molecule, and the homoaldol condensation of encapsulated MAP and AP should proceed smoothly in the fluorinated oligomeric gel network cores. The RF‐(AMPS)n‐RF/ABP and /AMN composites could not give the homoaldol products at all under similar conditions, indicating that the more bulky aromotic ketones than MAP or AP are not likely to be encapasulated as guest molecules into the fluorinated AMPS oligomeric gel netwok cores. Two series of fluorinated polyimides were prepared from 2,2′‐bis(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)biphenyl ( 2 ) and 2,2′‐bis(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl ( 4 ) with various aromatic dianhydrides via a conventional, two‐step procedure that included a ring‐opening polyaddition to give poly(amic acid)s, followed by chemical or thermal cyclodehydration. The inherent viscosities of the polyimides ranged from 0.54 to 0.73 and 0.19 to 0.36 dL/g, respectively. All the fluorinated polyimides were soluble in many polar organic solvents, such as N,N‐dimethylacetamide and N‐methylpyrrolidone, and afforded transparent and light‐colored films via solution‐casting. These polyimides showed glass‐transition temperatures in the ranges of 222–280 and 257–351 °C by DSC, softening temperatures in the range of 264–301 °C by thermomechanical analysis, and a decomposition temperature for 10% weight loss above 520 °C both in nitrogen and air atmospheres. The polyimides had low moisture absorptions of 0.23–0.58%, low dielectric constants of 2.84–3.61 at 10 kHz, and an ultraviolet–visible absorption cutoff wavelength at 351–434 nm. Copolyimides derived from the same dianhydrides with an equimolar mixture of 4,4′‐oxydianiline and diamine 2 or 4 were also prepared and characterized. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A new method for the synthesis of fluorinated α‐C‐glycosides is described. The reactions between highly electrophilic radicals (fluorinated or unfluorinated) and a 2‐benzyloxyglucal or galactal provide 2‐keto‐D ‐arabino‐ or 2‐keto‐D ‐lyxo‐hexopyranosides through an addition/fragmentation process. Sodium borohydride mediated or Meerwein–Ponndorf–Verley (MPV) reduction of these compounds provides α‐C‐glycosides that feature appropriate anchoring groups for further synthetic elaboration. The presence of CF2CO2iPr or CF2Br groups at the pseudo‐anomeric position allows efficient reduction/olefination or Br/Li‐exchange/nucleophilic‐addition sequences. These transformations open the way for the synthesis of fluorinated C‐glycosidic analogues of glycoconjugates.  相似文献

The molecules of 3‐amino‐4‐anilino‐1H‐isochromen‐1‐one, C15H12N2O2, (I), and 3‐amino‐4‐[methyl(phenyl)amino]‐1H‐isochromen‐1‐one, C16H14N2O2, (II), adopt very similar conformations, with the substituted amino group PhNR, where R = H in (I) and R = Me in (II), almost orthogonal to the adjacent heterocyclic ring. The molecules of (I) are linked into cyclic centrosymmetric dimers by pairs of N—H...O hydrogen bonds, while those of (II) are linked into complex sheets by a combination of one three‐centre N—H...(O)2 hydrogen bond, one two‐centre C—H...O hydrogen bond and two C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

A novel aromatic diamine monomer, 3,3′‐diisopropyl‐4,4′‐diaminodiphenyl‐3′′,4′′‐difluorophenylmethane (PAFM), was successfully synthesized by coupling of 2‐isopropylaniline and 3,4‐difluorobenzaldehyde. The aromatic diamine was adopted to synthesize a series of fluorinated polyimides by polycondensation with various dianhydrides: pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA), 3,3′,4,4′‐biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA), 4,4′‐oxydiphthalic anhydride (ODPA) and 3,3′,4,4′‐benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA) via the conventional one‐step method. These polyimides presented excellent solubility in common organic solvents, such as N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N‐dimethyl acetamide (DMAc), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (NMP), chloroform (CHCl3), tetrahydrofuran (THF) and so on. The glass transition temperatures (Tg) of fluorinated polyimides were in the range of 260–306°C and the temperature at 10% weight loss in the range of 474–502°C. Their films showed the cut‐off wavelengths of 330–361 nm and higher than 80% transparency in a wavelength range of 385–463 nm. Moreover, polymer films exhibited low dielectric properties in the range of 2.76–2.96 at 1 MHz, as well as prominent mechanical properties with tensile strengths of 66.7–97.4 MPa, a tensile modulus of 1.7–2.1 GPa and elongation at break of 7.2%–12.9%. The polymer films also showed outstanding hydrophobicity with the contact angle in the range of 91.2°–97.9°.  相似文献

To investigate the position and amount of the CF3 group affecting the coloration of polyimides (PIs), we prepared 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]hexafluoropropane ( 2 ) with four CF3 groups with 2‐chloro‐5‐nitrobenzotrifluoride and 2,2‐bis(4‐hydroxyphenol)hexafluoropropane. A series of soluble and light‐colored fluorinated PIs ( 5 ) were synthesized from 2 and various aromatic dianhydrides ( 3a – 3f ). 5a – 5f had inherent viscosities ranging from 0.80 to 1.19 dL/g and were soluble in amide polar solvents and even in less polar solvents. The glass‐transition temperatures of 5 were 221–265 °C, and the 10% weight‐loss temperatures were above 493 °C. Their films had cutoff wavelengths between 343 and 390 nm, b* values (a yellowness index) ranging from 5 to 41, dielectric constants of 2.68–3.01 (1 MHz), and moisture absorptions of 0.03–0.29 wt %. In a comparison of the PI series 6 – 8 based on 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐aminophenoxy)phenyl]hexafluoropropane, 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐amino‐2‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]propane, and 2,2‐bis[4‐(4‐aminophenoxy)phenyl]propane, we found that the CF3 group close to the imide group was more effective in lowering the color; this means that CF3 of 5 , 7 , and 8f was more effective than that of 6c . The color intensity of the four PI series was lowered in the following order: 5 > 7 > 6 > 8 . The PI 5f , synthesized from diamine 2 and 4,4′‐hexafluoroisopropylidenediphthalic anhydride, had six CF3 groups in a repeated segment, so it exhibited the lightest color among the four series. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The title complex, [CuCl2(C6H6N4S2)], has a flattened tetrahedral coordination. The CuII atom is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by two N atoms from a chelating 2,2′‐diamino‐4,4′‐bi‐1,3‐thiazole ligand and by two Cl atoms. Intramolecular hydrogen bonding exists between the amino groups of the 2,2′‐diamino‐4,4′‐bi‐1,3‐thiazole ligand and the Cl atoms. The intermolecular separation of 3.425 (1) Å between parallel bithiazole rings suggests there is a π–π interaction between them.  相似文献

A novel fluorinated aromatic diamine, 1,1‐bis(4‐amino‐3,5‐dimethylphenyl)‐1‐(3,5‐ditrifluoromethylphenyl)‐2,2,2‐trifluoroethane (9FMA), was synthesized by the coupling reaction of 3′,5′‐ditrifluoromethyl‐2,2,2‐trifluoroacetophenone with 2,6‐dimethylaniline under the catalysis of 2,6‐dimethylaniline hydrochloride. A series of fluorinated aromatic polyimides were synthesized from 9FMA and various aromatic dianhydrides, including pyromellitic dianhydride, 3,3′4,4′‐biphenyl tetracarboxylic dianhydride, 4,4′‐oxydiphthalic anhydride, 3,3′,4,4′‐benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA), and 4,4′‐hexafluoroisopropylidene diphthalic anhydride, via a high‐temperature, one‐stage imidization process. The inherent viscosities of the polyimides ranged from 0.37 to 0.74 dL/g. All the polyimides were quickly soluble in many low‐boiling‐point organic solvents such as tetrahydrofuran, chloroform, and acetone as well as some polar organic solvents such as N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidinone, N,N′‐dimethylacetamide, and N,N′‐dimethylformamide. Freestanding fluorinated polyimide films could be prepared and exhibited good thermal stability with glass‐transition temperatures of 298–334 °C and outstanding mechanical properties with tensile strengths of 69–102 MPa and elongations at break of 3.3–9.9%. Moreover, the polyimide films possessed low dielectric constants of 2.70–3.09 and low moisture absorption (<0.58%). The films also exhibited good optical transparency with a cutoff wavelength of 303–351 nm. One polyimide (9FMA/BTDA) also exhibited an intrinsic negative photosensitivity, and a fine pattern could be obtained with a resolution of 5 μm after exposure at the i‐line (365‐nm) wavelength. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel fluorinated diamine monomer based on 4,4′‐biphenol was synthesized via a straightforward, high‐yielding two‐step procedure. 4,4′‐Biphenol was reacted with 2‐chloro‐5‐nitrobenzotrifluoride in the presence of potassium carbonate to yield the intermediate dinitro compound, which was subsequently reduced to afford the fluorinated diamine, 4,4′‐bis(4‐amino‐3‐trifluoromethylphenoxy)biphenyl. A series of organosoluble fluorinated polyimides were prepared from the diamine with various aromatic dianhydrides via a conventional two‐step thermal imidization method. All polyimides were soluble in strong dipolar solvents such as N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone and N,N‐dimethylacetamide. The polyimides showed excellent thermal and thermooxidative stability and good mechanical properties. No significant weight loss was observed below a temperature of 520 °C in nitrogen or in air, and the glass‐transition temperatures ranged from 247 to 313 °C. Low dielectric constants (2.57–3.65 at 10 kHz), low moisture absorption (0.1–0.7 wt %), and low color intensity were also observed. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. A set of pentacoordinated dimethyltin(IV) complexes of flexible N‐protected amino acids and fluorinated β‐diketone/β‐diketones was screened for their antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Staphylococcus aureus and Streptomyces griseus . These pentacoordinated complexes of the type Me2SnAB (where : R = CH(CH3)C2H5, A1H; CH2CH(CH3)2, A2H; CH(CH3)2, A3H; CH2C6H5, A4H; and BH = R'C(O)CH2C(O)R″: R′ = C6H5, R″ = CF3, B1H; R′ = R″ = CH3, B2H; R′ = C6H5, R″ = CH3, B3H; R′ = R″ = C6H5, B4H) were generated by the reactions of dimethyltin(IV) dichloride with sodium salts of flexible N‐protected amino acids (ANa) and fluorinated β‐diketone/β‐diketones (BNa) in 1:1:1 molar ratio in refluxing dry benzene solution. Plausible structures of these complexes were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical and spectral studies. 119Sn NMR spectral data revealed the presence of pentacoordinated tin centres in these dimethyltin(IV) complexes.  相似文献

The structures of 3,5‐bis[4‐(diethylamino)benzylidene]‐1‐methyl‐4‐piperidone, C28H37N3O, (I), and 3,5‐bis[4‐(diethylamino)cinnamylidene]‐1‐methyl‐4‐piperidone, C32H41N3O, (II), have been characterized. Because of conjugation between donor and acceptor parts, the central heterocycles (including the carbonyl group) in (I) and (II) are flattened and exhibit a `sofa' conformation, with a deviation of the N atom from the planar fragment. The dihedral angles between the planar part of the heterocycle and the two almost flat fragments that include a phenyl ring and bridging atoms are 23.2 (1) and 11.2 (1)° in (I), and 11.8 (1) and 8.7 (2)° in (II). One‐ and two‐photon absorption of light and the fluorescence of (I) and (II) have also been characterized.  相似文献
