A series of optically active helical polyphosphazene block copolymers of general formula R? [N?P(O2C20H12)]nb‐[N?PMePh]m (R‐ 7 a – c ) was synthesized and characterized. The polymers were prepared by sequential living cationic polycondensation of N‐silylphosphoranimines using the mono‐end‐capped initiator [Ph3P?N?PCl3][PCl6] ( 5 ) and exhibit a low polydispersity index (ca. 1.3). The temperature dependence of the specific optical activity ([α]D) of R‐ 7 a , b relative to that for the homopolymers R‐[N?P(O2C20H12)]n (R‐ 8 a ) and the R/S analogues (R/S‐ 7 a , b ), revealed that the binaphthoxy–phosphazene segments induce a preferential helical conformation in the [N?PMePh] blocks through a “sergeant‐and‐soldiers” mechanism, an effect that is unprecedented in polyphosphazenes. The self‐assembly of drop‐cast thin films of the chiral block copolymer R‐ 7 b (bearing a long chiral and rigid R? [N?P(O2C20H12)] segment) evidenced a transfer of helicity mechanism, leading to the formation of twisted morphologies (twisted “pearl necklace”), not observed in the nonchiral R/S‐ 7 b . The chiral R‐ 7 a and the nonchiral R/S‐ 7 a , self‐assemble by a nondirected morphology reconstruction process into regular‐shaped macroporous films with chiral‐rich areas close to edge of the pore. This is the first nontemplate self‐assembly route to chiral macroporous polymeric films with pore size larger than 50 nm. The solvent annealing (THF) of these films leads to the formation of regular spherical nanostructures (ca. 50 nm), a rare example of nanospheres exclusively formed by synthetic helical polymers.  相似文献

We describe a new and very versatile method to place chosen chemical functionalities at the edge of the pores of macroporous materials. The method is based on the synthesis and self‐assembly of inorganic block copolymers (BCPs) having chiral rigid segments bearing controllable quantities of randomly distributed functional groups. The synthesis of a series of optically active block copolyphosphazenes (PP) with the general formula [N?P(R‐O2C20H12)0.9(FG)0.2]nb‐[N?PMePh]m (FG=‐OC5H4N ( 6 ), ‐NC4H8S ( 7 ), and ‐NC4H8O ( 8 )), was accomplished by the sequential living cationic polycondensation of N‐silylphosphoranimines, using the mono‐end‐capped initiator [Ph3P?N?PCl3][Cl] ( 3 ). The self‐assembly of the phosphazene BCPs 6 – 8 led to chiral porous films. The functionality present on those polymers affected their self‐assembly behaviour resulting in the formation of pores of different diameters (Dn=111 ( 6 ), 53 ( 7 ) and 77 nm ( 8 )). The specific functionalisation of the pores was proven by decorating the films with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). Thus, the BCPs 6 and 7 , having pyridine and thiomorpholine groups, respectively, were treated with HAuCl4, followed by reduction with NaBH4, yielding a new type of block copolyphosphazenes, which self‐assembled into chiral porous films specifically decorated with AuNPs at the edge of the pores.  相似文献

Poly(phenylacetylene)s containing L ‐valine residues (P 1 ) with (a)chiral pendant terminal groups R(*) [?(HC?C{C6H4CONHCH[CH(CH3)2]COO? R(*)})n?]; R(*) = 1‐octyl (P 1 o), (1S,2R,5S)‐(+)‐menthyl [P 1 (+)], (1R,2S,5R)‐(?)‐menthyl [P 1 (?)] are designed and synthesized. The polymers are prepared by organorhodium catalysts in high yields (yield up to 88%) with high molecular weights (Mw up to ?6.4 × 105). Their structures and properties are characterized by NMR, IR, TGA, UV, and circular dichroism analyses. All the polymers are thermally fairly stable (Td ≥ 320 °C). The chiral moieties induce the poly(phenylacetylene) chains to helically rotate in a preferred direction. The chirality of the pendant terminal groups affects little the helicity of the polymers but their bulkiness stabilizes the helical conformation against solvent perturbation. The backbone conjugation and chain helicity of the polymers can be modulated continuously and reversibly by acid. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Novel chiral N‐propargylphosphonamidate monomers (HC?CCH2NHP(?O)R? O? menthyl, 1 : R = CH3, 2 : R = C2H5, 3 : R = n‐C3H7, 4 : R = Ph) were synthesized by the reaction of the corresponding phosphonic dichlorides with menthol and propargylamine. Pairs of diastereomeric monomers 1 – 4 with different ratios were obtained due to the chiral P‐center and menthyl group. One diastereomer could be separated from another one in the cases of monomers 1 and 2 . Polymerization of 1 – 4 with (nbd)Rh+6‐C6H5B?(C6H5)3] as a catalyst in CHCl3 gave the polymers with number‐average molecular weights ranging from 5000 to 12,000 in 65–85%. Poly( 1 )–poly( 4 ) exhibited quantitative cis contents, and much larger specific rotations than 1 – 4 did in CHCl3. The polymers showed an intense Cotton effect around 325 nm based on the conjugated polyacetylene backbone. It was indicated that the polymers took a helical structure with predominantly one‐handed screw sense, and intramolecular hydrogen bonding between P?O and N? H of the polymers contributed to the stability of the helical structure. Poly( 1a ) and poly( 2a ) decreased the CD intensity upon raising CH3OH content in CHCl3/CH3OH. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The chiral tris‐monodentate imidazolinyl ligands 1 a – c exhibit a strong tendency to form the discrete, helical [2+3] nanocages 3 ([ 1 2 ?2 3]) with tartaric acids 2 . Circular dichroism (CD) spectra and theoretical calculations reveal that supramolecular handedness of capsulelike architectures is determined only by the chirality of the imidazolinyl ligands rather than tartaric acids. The chirality of imidazolinyl ligands is transferred to the helicity of the complexes through the directed hydrogen bonds between the N3 atom of imidazoline rings and the carboxyl of tartaric acids. These hydrogen‐bonded nanocages can spontaneously self‐assemble into spherical vesicles, during which the hydrogen bonding that arises from the hydroxyl groups of tartaric acids plays a crucial issue. The vesicles formed by [{(S,S,S)‐ 1 a }2( 2 L)3] ( 3 a ) may further evolve into microspheres that gelate organic solvents after being aged at ?20 °C for 24 h, and can also be unprecedentedly transformed to tubular assemblies capable of rigidifying the solvents when subjected to ultrasound irradiation.  相似文献

Deprotonation of the aminophosphanes Ph2PN(H)R 1a – 1h [R = tBu ( 1a ), 1‐adamantyl ( 1b ), iPr ( 1c ), CPh3 ( 1d ), Ph ( 1e ), 2,4,6‐Me3C6H2 (Mes) ( 1f ), 2,4,6‐tBu3C6H2 (Mes*) ( 1g ), 2,6‐iPr2C6H3 (DIPP) ( 1h )], followed by reactions of the phosphanylamide salts Li[Ph2PNR] 2a , 2b , 2g , and 2h with the P‐chlorophosphaalkene (Me3Si)2C=PCl, and of 2a – 2g with (iPrMe2Si)2C=PCl, gave the isolable P‐phosphanylamino phosphaalkenes (Me3Si)2C=PN(R)PPh2 3a , 3b , 3g , and (iPrMe2Si)2C=PN(R)PPh2 4a – 4g . 31P NMR spectra, supported by X‐ray structure determinations, reveal that in compounds 2a , 2b , 3a , and 3b , with bulky N‐alkyl groups the Si2C=P–N–P skeleton is non‐planar (orthogonal conformation), whereas 3g , 3h , and 4g with bulky N‐aryl groups exhibit planar conformations of the Si2C=P–N–P skeleton. Solid 3g and 4g exhibit cisoid orientation of the planar C=P–N–C units (planar I) but in solid 3h the transoid rotamer is present (planar II). From 3g , 4d , and 4g mixtures of rotamers were detected in solution by pairs of 31P NMR patterns ( 3h : line broadening).  相似文献

Treatment of (NH4)[Au(D‐Hpen‐S)2](D‐H2pen = D‐penicillamine) with CoCl2·6H2O in an acetate buffer solution, followed by air oxidation, gave neutral AuICoIII and anionic AuI3CoIII2 polynuclear complexes, [Au3Co3(D‐pen‐N,O,S)6]([ 1 ]) and [Au3Co2(D‐pen‐N,S)6]3? ([ 2 ]3?), which were separated by anion‐exchange column chromatography. Complexes [ 1 ] and [ 2 ]3? each formed a single isomer, and their structures were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography. In [ 1 ], each of three [Au(D‐pen‐S)2]3?metalloligands coordinates to two CoIII ions in a bis‐tridentate‐N,O,S mode to form a cyclic AuI3CoIII3 hexanuclear structure, in which three [Co(D‐pen‐N,O,S)2]? octahedral units and six bridging S atoms adopt trans(O) geometrical and R chiral configurations, respectively. In [ 2 ]3?, each of three [Au(D‐pen‐S)2]3? metalloligands coordinates to two CoIII ions in a bis‐bidentate‐N,S mode to form a AuI3CoIII2 pentanuclear structure, in which two [Co(D‐pen‐N,S)3]3? units and six bridging S atoms adopt ∧ and R chiral configurations, respectively.  相似文献

Reaction of CuCl2 · 2H2O with chiral Schiff bases and sodium dicyanamide led to the formation of two chiral copper(II) coordination polymers, namely [Cu4(L1)2(dca)4]n ( 1 ) and [Cu2(L2)(μ‐Cl)(dca)(H2O)]n · nH2O ( 2 ) {H2L1 = (1R, 3S)‐N′,N′′‐bis[salicylidene]‐1,3‐diamino‐ 1,2,2‐trimethylcyclopentane, H2L2 = (1R, 3S)‐N′,N′′‐bis[3‐ethoxysalicylidene]‐1,3‐diamino‐ 1,2,2‐trimethylcyclopentane, dca = dicyanamide}. Both complexes were structurally characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Complex 1 exhibits a two‐dimensional polymeric structure formed by single dca bridging tetranuclear Cu4 units. Complex 2 displays a left‐handed helical chain structure constructed from Cu2 dimers with single dca bridges. The chirality of 1 and 2 was confirmed by circular dichroism (CD) measurements in solution. Both complexes exhibit strong antiferromagnetic couplings with J = –308(4) cm–1 for 1 and J = –123(1) cm–1 for 2 in 2–300 K.  相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, poly[(dimethylamine‐κN)[μ3‐(E)‐2,6‐dimethyl‐4‐styrylpyridine‐3,5‐dicarboxylato‐κ3O3:O3′:O5]zinc(II)], [Zn(C17H13NO4)(C2H7N)]n, consists of one crystallographically independent distorted tetrahedral ZnII cation, one (E)‐2,6‐dimethyl‐4‐styrylpyridine‐3,5‐dicarboxylate (mspda2−) ligand and one coordinated dimethylamine molecule. Two S‐ and R‐type chiral units are generated from the axially prochiral mspda2− ligand through C—H...O hydrogen bonds. The R‐type chiral units assemble a left‐handed (M) Zn–mspda helical chain, while the right‐handed (P) Zn–mspda helical chain is constructed from neighbouring S‐type chiral units. The P‐ and M‐type helical chains are interlinked by carboxylate O atoms to form a one‐dimensional ladder. Interchain N—H...O hydrogen bonds extend these one‐dimensional ladders into a two‐dimensional supramolecular architecture. The title compound exhibits luminescence at λmax = 432 nm upon excitation at 365 nm.  相似文献

By using the node‐and‐spacer approach in suitable solvents, four new heterotrimetallic 1D chain‐like compounds (that is, containing 3d–3d′–4f metal ions), {[Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)Fe(Tp*)(CN)3] ? 2 CH3CN ? CH3OH}n (H2L=N,N′‐bis(3‐methoxysalicylidene)‐1,3‐diaminopropane, Tp*=hydridotris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl)borate; Ln=Gd ( 1 ), Dy ( 2 ), Tb ( 3 ), Nd ( 4 )), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. All of these compounds are made up of a neutral cyanide‐ and phenolate‐bridged heterotrimetallic chain, with a {? Fe? C?N? Ni(? O? Ln)? N?C? }n repeat unit. Within these chains, each [(Tp*)Fe(CN)3]? entity binds to the NiII ion of the [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ motif through two of its three cyanide groups in a cis mode, whereas each [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ unit is linked to two [(Tp*)Fe(CN)3]? ions through the NiII ion in a trans mode. In the [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ unit, the NiII and LnIII ions are bridged to one other through two phenolic oxygen atoms of the ligand (L). Compounds 1 – 4 are rare examples of 1D cyanide‐ and phenolate‐bridged 3d–3d′–4f helical chain compounds. As expected, strong ferromagnetic interactions are observed between neighboring FeIII and NiII ions through a cyanide bridge and between neighboring NiII and LnIII (except for NdIII) ions through two phenolate bridges. Further magnetic studies show that all of these compounds exhibit single‐chain magnetic behavior. Compound 2 exhibits the highest effective energy barrier (58.2 K) for the reversal of magnetization in 3d/4d/5d–4f heterotrimetallic single‐chain magnets.  相似文献

Herein, a unique coordination system that exhibits multiple chiral inversions and molecular dimerization in response to a subtle pH change is reported. Treatment of (Δ)2‐H3[Au3Co2(L ‐cys)6] (H3[ 1 a ]) with [Co3(aet)6](NO3)3 (aet=2‐aminoethanethiolate) in water at pH 7 gave a 1:1 complex salt of [Co3(aet)6]3+ and [ 1 a ]3?, retaining the AuI3CoIII2 structure and chiral configurations of [ 1 a ]3?. Similar treatment at pH 9 led to not only the inversion of all of the chiral CoIII and S centers but also the dimerization of [ 1 a ]3?, giving a 2:1 complex salt of [Co3(aet)6]3+ and (Λ)4(R)12‐[Au6Co4(L ‐cys)12]6? ([ 2 ]6?). When dissociated from [Co3(aet)6]3+ in solution, [ 2 ]6? was converted to (Λ)2(R)6‐[Au3Co2(L ‐cys)6]3? ([ 1 b ]3?) with retention of the chiral configurations.  相似文献

The treatment of N,C,N‐chelated antimony(III) and bismuth(III) chlorides [C6H3‐2,6‐(CH=NR)2]MCl2 [R = tBu and M = Sb ( 1 ) or Bi ( 2 ); R = Dmp and M = Sb ( 3 ) or Bi ( 4 )] (Dmp = 2,6‐Me2C6H3) with one molar equivalent of Ag[CB11H12] led to a smooth formation of corresponding ionic pairs {[C6H3‐2,6‐(CH=NR)2]MCl}+[CB11H12] [R = tBu and M = Sb ( 7 ) or Bi ( 8 ), R = Dmp and M = Sb ( 9 ) or Bi ( 10 )]. Similarly, the reaction of C,N‐chelated analogues [C6H2‐2‐(CH=NDip)‐4,6‐(tBu)2]MCl2 [M = Sb ( 5 ) or Bi ( 6 ), Dip = 2′,6′‐iPr2C6H3] gave compounds {[C6H2‐2‐(CH=NDip)‐4,6‐(tBu)2]MCl}+[CB11H12] [M = Sb ( 11 ) or Bi ( 12 )]. All compounds 7 – 12 were characterized with 1H, 11B and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopy, ESI‐mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy, and molecular structures of 7 – 9 and 12 were determined by the help of single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. In contrast, all attempts to cleave also the second M–Cl bond in 7 – 12 using another molar equivalent Ag[CB11H12] remained unsuccessful. Nevertheless, the reaction between 7 (or 8 ) and Ag[CB11H12] produced unprecedented adducts of both reagents namely {[C6H3‐2,6‐(CH=NtBu)2]SbCl}22+[Ag2(CB11H12)4]2– ( 13 ) and {[C6H3‐2,6‐(CH=NtBu)2]BiCl}+[Ag(CB11H12)2] ( 14 ) in a reproducible manner. The molecular structures of these sparingly soluble compounds were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

Molecules of phthalimide [1H‐isoindole‐1,3(2H)‐dione], C8H5NO2, are linked by N—H?O hydrogen bonds [H?O 2.02 Å, N?O 2.8781 (16) Å and N—H?O 167°] and by C—H?O hydrogen bonds [H?O 2.54 and 2.56 Å, C?O 3.3874 (18) and 3.4628 (19) Å, and C—H?O 149 and 159°] into molecular ribbons, which are pierced by three different ring motifs; there are two centrosymmetric R(8) rings, each containing a single hydrogen bond, N—H?O in one case and C—H?O in the other, and R(9) rings containing all three hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The osmium complexes trans‐[OsCl2(dppf)(diamine)] (dppf: 1,1′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene; diamine: ethylenediamine in 3 , propylenediamine in 4 ) were prepared by the reaction of [OsCl2(PPh3)3] ( 1 ) with the ferrocenyl diphosphane, dppf and the corresponding diamine in dichloromethane. The reaction of derivative 3 with NaOCH2CF3 in toluene afforded the alkoxide cis‐[Os(OCH2CF3)2(dppf)(ethylenediamine)] ( 5 ). The novel precursor [Os2Cl4(P(m‐tolyl)3)5] ( 2 ) allows the synthesis of the chiral complexes trans‐[OsCl2(diphosphane)(1,2‐diamine)] ( 6 – 9 ; diphosphane: (R)‐[6,6′‐dimethoxy(1,1′‐biphenyl)‐2,2′‐diyl]bis[1,1‐bis(3,5‐dimethylphenyl)phosphane] (xylMeObiphep) or (R)‐(1,1′‐binaphthalene)‐2,2′‐diylbis[1,1‐bis(3,5‐dimethylphenyl)phosphane] (xylbinap); diamine=(R,R)‐1,2‐diphenylethylenediamine (dpen) or (R,R)‐1,2‐diaminocyclohexane (dach)), obtained by the treatment of 2 with the diphosphane and the 1,2‐diamine in toluene at reflux temperature. Compounds 3 – 5 in ethanol and in the presence of NaOEt catalyze the reduction of methyl aryl, dialkyl, and diaryl ketones and aldehydes with H2 at low pressure (5 atm), with substrate/catalyst (S/C) ratios of 10 000–200 000 and achieving turnover frequencies (TOFs) of up to 3.0×105 h?1 at 70 °C. By employment of the chiral compounds 6 – 9 , different ketones, including alkyl aryl, bulky tert‐butyl, and cyclic ketones, have successfully been hydrogenated with enantioselectivities up to 99 % and with S/C ratios of 5000–100 000 and TOFs of up to 4.1×104 h?1 at 60 °C.  相似文献

The reduction of N,C,N‐chelated bismuth chlorides [C6H3‐2,6‐(CH?NR)2]BiCl2 [where R=tBu ( 1 ), 2′,6′‐Me2C6H3 ( 2 ), or 4′‐Me2NC6H4 ( 3 )] or N,C‐chelated analogues [C6H2‐2‐(CH?N‐2′,6′‐iPr2C6H3)‐4,6‐(tBu)2]BiCl2 ( 4 ) and [C6H2‐2‐(CH2NEt2)‐4,6‐(tBu)2]BiCl2 ( 5 ) is reported. Reduction of compounds 1 – 3 gave monomeric N,C,N‐chelated bismuthinidenes [C6H3‐2,6‐(CH?NR)2]Bi [where R=tBu ( 6 ), 2′,6′‐Me2C6H3 ( 7 ) or 4′‐Me2NC6H4 ( 8 )]. Similarly, the reduction of 4 led to the isolation of the compound [C6H2‐2‐(CH?N‐2′,6′‐iPr2C6H3)‐4,6‐(tBu)2]Bi ( 9 ) as an unprecedented two‐coordinated bismuthinidene that has been structurally characterized. In contrast, the dibismuthene {[C6H2‐2‐(CH2NEt2)‐4,6‐(tBu)2]Bi}2 ( 10 ) was obtained by the reduction of 5 . Compounds 6 – 10 were characterized by using 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and their structures, except for 7 , were determined with the help of single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. It is clear that the structure of the reduced products (bismuthinidene versus dibismuthene) is ligand‐dependent and particularly influenced by the strength of the N→Bi intramolecular interaction(s). Therefore, a theoretical survey describing the bonding situation in the studied compounds and related bismuth(I) systems is included. Importantly, we found that the C3NBi chelating ring in the two‐coordinated bismuthinidene 9 exhibits significant aromatic character by delocalization of the bismuth lone pair.  相似文献

Reactions of [Cu(NCMe)4]+ with stoichiometric amount of diphosphine R2P–(C6H4)n–PR2, (R = NC4H4, n = 1; R = Ph, n = 1, 2, 3) or tri‐phosphine 1, 3, 5‐(PPh2–C6H4–)3–C6H3 ligands give the corresponding di‐ or trinuclear copper(I) acetonitrile‐phosphine complexes 1 – 5 . Substitution of the labile acetonitrile groups with chelating aromatic diimines – 2, 2′‐bipyridine (bpy), 1, 10‐phenanthroline (phen), 5, 6‐dimethyl‐1, 10‐phenanthroline (dmp), 5, 6‐dibromo‐1, 10‐phenanthroline (phenBr2) – gives the corresponding substituted compounds 6 – 16 . In all complexes 1 – 16 each central CuI atom has tetrahedral configuration completed with two N‐ and two P‐donor groups. The compounds obtained were characterized using elemental analysis, ESI‐MS, X‐ray crystallography, and NMR spectroscopy. All phosphine‐diimine compounds 6 – 16 are photoluminescent at room temperature both in dichloromethane solution and in solid state (λex = 385 nm). In CH2Cl2 solution the maxima of emission bands are found in a range 540–640 nm, and in solid in a similar range 538–620 nm. Emission of 6 – 16 is assigned to the triplet excited state dominated by the charge transfer transitions with contribution of the MLCT character.  相似文献

The reactions of MCl5 or MOCl3 with imidazole‐based pro‐ligand L1H, 3,5‐tBu2‐2‐OH‐C6H2‐(4,5‐Ph21H‐)imidazole, or oxazole‐based ligand L2H, 3,5‐tBu2‐2‐OH‐C6H2(1H‐phenanthro[9,10‐d])oxazole, following work‐up, afforded octahedral complexes [MX(L1, 2)], where MX=NbCl4 (L1, 1 a ; L2, 2 a ), [NbOCl2(NCMe)] (L1, 1 b ; L2, 2 b ), TaCl4 (L1, 1 c ; L2, 2 c ), or [TaOCl2(NCMe)] (L1, 1 d ). The treatment of α‐diimine ligand L3, (2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?CH)2, with [MCl4(thf)2] (M=Nb, Ta) afforded [MCl4(L3)] (M=Nb, 3 a ; Ta, 3 b ). The reaction of [MCl3(dme)] (dme=1,2‐dimethoxyethane; M=Nb, Ta) with bis(imino)pyridine ligand L4, 2,6‐[2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?(Me)C]2C5H3N, afforded known complexes of the type [MCl3(L4)] (M=Nb, 4 a ; Ta, 4 b ), whereas the reaction of 2‐acetyl‐6‐iminopyridine ligand L5, 2‐[2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?(Me)C]‐6‐Ac‐C5H3N, with the niobium precursor afforded the coupled product [({2‐Ac‐6‐(2,6‐iPr2C6H3N?(Me)C)C5H3N}NbOCl2)2] ( 5 ). The reaction of MCl5 with Schiff‐base pro‐ligands L6H–L10H, 3,5‐(R1)2‐2‐OH‐C6H2CH?N(2‐OR2‐C6H4), (L6H: R1=tBu, R2=Ph; L7H: R1=tBu, R2=Me; L8H: R1=Cl, R2=Ph; L9H: R1=Cl, R2=Me; L10H: R1=Cl, R2=CF3) afforded [MCl4(L6–10)] complexes (M=Nb, 6 a – 10 a ; M=Ta, 6 b – 9 b ). In the case of compound 8 b , the corresponding zwitterion was also synthesised, namely [Ta?Cl5(L8H)+] ? MeCN ( 8 c ). Unexpectedly, the reaction of L7H with TaCl5 at reflux in toluene led to the removal of the methyl group and the formation of trichloride 7 c [TaCl3(L7‐Me)]; conducting the reaction at room temperature led to the formation of the expected methoxy compound ( 7 b ). Upon activation with methylaluminoxane (MAO), these complexes displayed poor activities for the homogeneous polymerisation of ethylene. However, the use of chloroalkylaluminium reagents, such as dimethylaluminium chloride (DMAC) and methylaluminium dichloride (MADC), as co‐catalysts in the presence of the reactivator ethyl trichloroacetate (ETA) generated thermally stable catalysts with, in the case of niobium, catalytic activities that were two orders of magnitude higher than those previously observed. The effects of steric hindrance and electronic configuration on the polymerisation activity of these tantalum and niobium pre‐catalysts were investigated. Spectroscopic studies (1H NMR, 13C NMR and 1H? 1H and 1H? 13C correlations) on the reactions of compounds 4 a / 4 b with either MAO(50) or AlMe3/[CPh3]+[B(C6F5)4]? were consistent with the formation of a diamagnetic cation of the form [L4AlMe2]+ (MAO(50) is the product of the vacuum distillation of commercial MAO at +50 °C and contains only 1 mol % of Al in the form of free AlMe3). In the presence of MAO, this cationic aluminium complex was not capable of initiating the ROMP (ring opening metathesis polymerisation) of norbornene, whereas the 4 a / 4 b systems with MAO(50) were active. A parallel pressure reactor (PPR)‐based homogeneous polymerisation screening by using pre‐catalysts 1 b , 1 c , 2 a , 3 a and 6 a , in combination with MAO, revealed only moderate‐to‐good activities for the homo‐polymerisation of ethylene and the co‐polymerisation of ethylene/1‐hexene. The molecular structures are reported for complexes 1 a – 1 c , 2 b , 5 , 6 a , 6 b, 7 a, 8 a and 8 c .  相似文献

A series of binuclear complexes [{Cp*Ir(OOCCH2COO)}2(pyrazine)] ( 1 b ), [{Cp*Ir(OOCCH2COO)}2(bpy)] ( 2 b ; bpy=4,4′‐bipyridine), [{Cp*Ir(OOCCH2COO)}2(bpe)] ( 3 b ; bpe=trans‐1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethylene) and tetranuclear metallamacrocycles [{(Cp*Ir)2(OOC‐C?C‐COO)(pyrazine)}2] ( 1 c ), [{(Cp*Ir)2(OOC‐C?C‐COO)(bpy)}2] ( 2 c ), [{(Cp*Ir)2(OOC‐C?C‐COO)(bpe)}2] ( 3 c ), and [{(Cp*Ir)2[OOC(H3C6)‐N?N‐(C6H3)COO](pyrazine)}2] ( 1 d ), [{(Cp*Ir)2[OOC(H3C6)‐N?N‐(C6H3)COO](bpy)}2] ( 2 d ), [{(Cp*Ir)2[OOC(H3C6)‐N?N‐(C6H3)COO](bpe)}2] ( 3 d ) were formed by reactions of 1 a – 3 a {[(Cp*Ir)2(pyrazine)Cl2] ( 1 a ), [(Cp*Ir)2(bpy)Cl2] ( 2 a ), and [(Cp*Ir)2(bpe)Cl2] ( 3 a )} with malonic acid, fumaric acid, or H2ADB (azobenzene‐4,4′‐chcarboxylic acid), respectively, under mild conditions. The metallamacrocycles were directly self‐assembled by activation of C? H bonds from dicarboxylic acids. Interestingly, after exposure to UV/Vis light, 3 c was converted to [2+2] cycloaddition complex 4 . The molecular structures of 2 b , 1 c , 1 d , and 4 were characterized by single‐crystal x‐ray crystallography. Nanosized tubular channels, which may play important roles for their stability, were also observed in 1 c , 1 d , and 4 . All complexes were well characterized by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy, as well as elemental analysis.  相似文献
