Temperature dependence studies of the fluorescence quantum yield and decay time on 9-acetoxy-10-halogenphenylanthracene derivatives have been carried out. The activation energy for intersystem crossing processes increases with the atomic number of the halogen atom substituted, independent from the position of the heavy atom in the phenyl ring. The fluorescence rate constant kF depends on the temperature only for those compounds with a substituted heavy atom. The kF− values determined from i) absorption measurements and ii) quantum yield and decay time fluorescence are in good correspondence. The internal conversion rate has turned out to be insignificant.  相似文献

Cyclohepta[cd]benzofuran 2 was synthesized by heating (5-oxo-5H-benzocyclohepten-4-yloxy)acetic acid 16 with sodium acetate in acetic anhydride or by photocyclization of 16 in acetonitrile. Several reactions of cyclohepta[cd]benzofuran 2 were examined. Protonation of 2 with trifluoroacetic acid occurred at the 2-position to give a tropylium ion 17 . Catalytic hydrogenation of 2 with palladium on charcoal proceeded smoothly to give tetrahydrocyclohepta[cd]benzofuran 18 . The Diels-Alder reaction of 2 with tetracyano-ethylene produced an adduct 19 . Formylation of 2 with phosphorus oxychloride and dimethylformamide occurred easily at the 2-position to afford compound 20 . Cyclohepta[cd]benzofuran 2 has both properties of heptafulvene and benzofuran.  相似文献

The solvent effects on the electronic absorption spectra of 9,10-anthraquinone (AQ) and its symmetric dihydroxy derivatives namely 1,5-dihydroxyanthraquinone (1,5-DHAQ) and 2,6-dihydroxyanthraquinone (2,6-DHAQ) have been studied in pure solvents and some binary solvent mixtures. The frequencies of the absorption for AQ and 2,6-DHAQ are quite solvent sensitive while those for 1,5-DHAQ are not. Due to the intramolecular hydrogen bond between the CO and OH groups, no influence of solvent hydrogen bond acceptors is observed in 1,5-DHAQ. This hydrogen bond gives a stable six member cycle which is not broken even by the strongest hydrogen bond acceptor solvents used in this work, such as DMSO and DMF. The Taft and Kamlet's solvatochromic comparison method was applied for AQ and 2,6-DHAQ. Aromatic solvents and aliphatic amines were not included in the correlations since they strongly deviate suggesting another type of interactions. All the π→π* bands of AQ and 2,6-DHAQ show strong influence of π* despite the fact that their dipole moment is zero. Although it would be reasonable to expect that in the absence of a solute dipole moment there is not significant orientation of solvent molecules around the solute molecules, in this case dipolar interactions between solute and solvent due to local effects might be expected. AQ may be considered as formed by two carbonyl groups weakly interacting with the benzene rings; that means that the carbonyl group can behave as an isolated dipole and independently of the other. To detect possible specific interactions between the AQ and aliphatic amines and aromatic hydrocarbons, preferential solvation in mixed solvent was investigated. It is concluded that EDA interactions are important in the solvation of AQ with these compounds as solvents.  相似文献

The electrochemical one-electron oxidation of 9-hydroxy-ellipticinium cations at a platinum electrode has been examined with particular attention to the thermodynamic redox potential and to the dimerization rate of the radical species produced. Both the reactant and the product of the electrochemical reaction are strongly adsorbed at the solution/electrode interface. The initial step of the anodic process is a reversible electron transfer accompanied by a fast deprotonation; E0′=900?53 pH mV vs. NHE. The resulting neutral radical dimerizes, the rate constant of the surface dimerization being ca. 2.5×109 mol?1 cm2 s?1.  相似文献

Cyclohepta[cd]benzofurans 1a-c were synthesized by heating (5-oxo-5H-benzocyclohepten-4-yloxy)acetic acids 7a-c with sodium acetate in acetic anhydride or by irradiation of 7a-c in acetonitrile. Several reactions such as protonation, catalytic hydrogenation, Diels-Alder reaction, acylation, and photoreaction were examined for 1a-b . The results show that cyclohepta[cd]benzofurans have both properties of heptafulvene and benzofuran. The carbon-carbon double bond in the furan ring of 1a has aromatic character, however, the carbon-carbon double bonds in the seven-membered ring have olefinic character.  相似文献

Photolysis of N-benzyl-N-phenylearbamoylazide (IVc) afforded 1-benzy 1-2-benzimidazolinone (Ic), 2-benzimidazolinone (IIe), 4-benzy 1-2-benzimidazolinone (IIe), and 5-benzy1-2-benzimidazo-linone (IIf)- The same reaction of N-benzyl-N-(4-chlorophenyl) carbamoyl azide (IVd) gave 3-benzyl-1-(phenylhydrazocarbonyl)-2-benzimidazolinone (VIb) besides the above four products. In the case of N-benzyl-4-(4-butoxyphenyl)carbamoyl azide (IVe), 1-benzy1-5-butoxy-2-benz-imidazolinone (1e), 5-butoxy-2-benzimidazolinone (IId), 5-benzy1-2-benzimidazolinone (IIf), and 4-benzy1-6-butoxy-2-benzimidazolinone (IIg).  相似文献

The reactions of the isomeric dibrometetrafluorobenzenes with the methanethiolate anion and copper(I) methanethiolate have been examined. Using the thiolate anion replacement of fluorine by the SMe group occurred, but with copper(I) methanethiolate protodebromination and replacement of the bromine with the SMe group occurred. The new compounds isolated have been characterized and their spectra (NMR, IR, and mass) examined.  相似文献
