The hydrogen storage capabilities of alkaline borohydrides through a hydrolyzing process were determined by taking into consideration the hydration of the end products. Comparison of LiBH4, NaBH4 and KBH4 showed their storage capacities to be dependent on the composition of the metaborate formed. This composition is ruled by the hydrolysis conditions, especially the temperature reached during the reaction and the stability of the hydrates. The borohydride with the highest hydrogen content in the solid state, LiBH4, could be less efficient than KBH4 if the hydrolysis is performed at 120°C.  相似文献

Specific conductivity of molten salt mixtures of the LiF-ZrF4, NaF-ZrF4, KF-ZrF4, RbF-ZrF4, and CsF-ZrF4 systems is measured in the whole concentration range using the reference capillary technique. The results are presented in the form of equations of the χ = a + bT + cT 2 [S m?1] type. The concentration dependences of molar conductivity are calculated on the basis of the density data. The obtained regularities are explained in the terms of the complex model of ion melt structures.  相似文献

Kinetics of LiFePO4, LiMn2O4, and LiCoO2 cathodes operating in 1 M LIPF6 solution in a mixture of ethylene carbonate and dimethyl carbonate was deduced from impedance spectra taken at different temperatures. The most striking difference of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) curves is the impedance magnitude: tens of ohms in the case of LiFePO4, hundreds of ohms for LiMn2O4, and thousands of ohms for LiCoO2. Charge transfer resistances (R ct) for lithiation/delitiation processes estimated from the deconvolution procedure were 6.0 Ω (LiFePO4), 55.4 Ω (LiCoO2), and 88.5 Ω (LiMn2O4), respectively. Exchange current density for all the three tested cathodes was found to be comparable (0.55–1·10?2 mAcm?2, T = 298 K). Corresponding activation energies for the charge transfer process, \( {E}_{ct}^{\#} \), differed considerably: 66.3, 48.9, and 17.0 kJmol?1 for LiMn2O4, LiCoO2, and LiFePO4, respectively. Consequently, temperature variation may have a substantial influence on exchange current densities (j o) in the case of LiMn2O4 and LiCoO2 cathodes.  相似文献

Adsorption microcalorimetry has been employed to study the interaction of ethylene with the reduced and oxidized Pt-Ag/SiO2catalysts with different Ag contents to elucidate the modified effect of Ag towards the hydrocarbon processing on platinum catalysts. In addition, microcalorimetric adsorption of H2, O2, CO and FTIR of CO adsorption were conducted to investigate the influence of Ag on the surface structure of Pt catalyst. It is found from the microcalorimetric results of H2and O2adsorption that the addition of Ag to Pt/SiO2leads to the enrichment of Ag on the catalyst surface which decreases the size of Pt surface ensembles of Pt-Ag/SiO2catalysts. The microcalorimetry and FTIR of CO adsorption indicates that there still exist sites for linear and bridged CO adsorption on the surface of platinum catalysts simultaneously although Ag was incorporated into Pt/SiO2. The ethylene microcalorimetric results show that the decrease of ensemble size of Pt surface sites suppresses the formation of dissociative species (ethylidyne) upon the chemisorption of C2H4on Pt-Ag/SiO2. The differential heat vs. uptake plots for C2H4adsorption on the oxygen-preadsorbed Pt/SiO2and Pt-Ag/SiO2catalysts suggest that the incorporation of Ag to Pt/SiO2could decrease the ability for the oxidation of C2H4.  相似文献

Five-component reciprocal systems Na,K∥Cl,CO3,MoO4,WO4 and Na,K∥F,CO3,MO4,WO4 have been studied by differential thermal analysis (DTA) and X-ray powder diffraction (XPD). The systems have been triangulated to phase simplexes. The main reciprocal and complex-formation reactions have been revealed. The stability of [Na,K]2CO3, Na2[Mo,W]O4, and K2[Mo,W]O4 binary solid solutions and the nonexistence of quintuple invariant points in the title systems have been verified.  相似文献

Intermetallic compounds Al13Co4, Al13Fe4, and Al13Co2Fe2 were obtained by solid-phase synthesis in air at temperatures below 600°C using precursor metals subjected to mechanochemical preactivation. Eleven kinds of density functionals in conjunction with three different basis sets are employed to investigate the homonuclear 5d-electron dimers: Hf2, Ta2, Re2, W2 and Hg2. The computed bond lengths, vibrational frequencies and dissociation energies of these molecules are used to compare with available experimental data to find the appropriate combination of functional and basis set. The different functionals and basis sets favor different ground electronic state for Hf2 and Re2 molecules, indicating that these two dimers are sensitive to the functionals used. The molecular properties of Hg2 dimer depend strongly on both functionals and basis sets used. It is found that the BP86 and PBEPBE functionals are generally successful in describing the 5d-electron dimers. For the ground states of these dimers, the bonding patterns are determined by natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis. Natural electron configurations show that the 6s and 5d orbitals in the bonding atoms hybrid with each other for the studied dimers except for Hg2.  相似文献

Quantum-chemical study of the adsorption of two-, four- and eight-atomic silver clusters on stoichiometric and partially reduced rutile (110) surface, and of silver tetramer on the surface of anatase (101) was carried out in the framework of periodic DFT model. The most energetically favorable positions of clusters on the surface of TiO2 and the mechanism of binding the clusters with the substrate were revealed. According to the calculations, the adsorption of silver clusters on the surface of stoichiometric rutile (110) is more preferable than on the partially reduced one. The mechanism of binding the clusters with the surface of anatase and rutile is shown to be similar.  相似文献

Abstract  

Direct reductive amination of 1,3-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde and 3-(4-methylphenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde with various substituted aromatic amines using NaBH4 in the presence of I2 as reducing agent is described. The reaction has been carried out in anhydrous methanol under neutral conditions at room temperature. The structure of newly synthesized diphenyl pyrazolylmethylanilines was established on the basis of IR, 1H, 13C NMR, and mass spectral data. All diphenyl pyrazolylmethylaniline derivatives were tested in vitro for their antifungal and antibacterial activity against different strains of fungi and bacteria. Most of the compound exhibited considerable antifungal activity but poor antibacterial activity against the test strains.  相似文献

Additives to MgB2 can improve the superconducting functional characteristics, such as critical current density (J c) and irreversibility field (H irr). Recently, we have shown that repagermanium (C6H10Ge2O7) is an effective additive, enhancing both J c and H irr. To look into details of the processes taking place during the reactive sintering, a thermal analysis study (0.167 K s?1, in Ar) is reported. We used differential scanning calorimetry between 298 and 863 K and simultaneous thermogravimetric—differential thermal analysis between 298 and 1233 K. Samples were mixtures of powders with composition 97 mol% MgB2 and 3 mol% C6H10Ge2O7. Up to 863 K, repagermanium decomposes by multiple steps and forms amorphous phases. A reaction with MgB2 is not observed. Above this temperature, partial decomposition of MgB2 occurs. Crystalline Ge and MgO are detected before formation of Mg2Ge and MgB4, when temperature approaches the melting point of Ge (1211 K). Carbon substitution for boron in the crystal lattice of MgB2 is observed for samples heated above 863 K. The amount of substitutional C does not significantly change with temperature.  相似文献

Quantum-mechanical calculations with the FEFF8 code were used to study the electronic energy structure of 200-atomic clusters of As2S3, AsSI, AgAsS2, and TiS2 semiconductor compounds. The calculated local partial densities of electronic states are compared with the sulfur K and L X-ray emission spectra and sulfur K absorption spectra for fine powders of these compounds. Good agreement between theory and experiment has been obtained.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of cobalt borides forming in situ under conditions of NH3BH3 and NaBH4 hydrolysis have been investigated. The reaction properties of the catalysts depend on the nature of the hydride. According to high-temperature X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, IR spectroscopy, and chemical analysis data, the nature of the hydride determines the particle size, chemical composition, and crystallization properties of the cobalt borides.  相似文献

Experimental results on the interaction of Cr atoms with various oxygen-containing molecules (NO, N2O, CO2, NO2, and SO2) at high temperatures (>1000 K) are presented. It is demonstrated that activation barrier for spin-forbidden reactions is higher, all other things being equal. For the reaction of Cr atoms with N2O, an interpolated temperature dependence of the rate constant, based on the high-temperature measurements conducted in the present work and the published low-temperature data, is proposed.  相似文献

The absorption feasibility of benzene molecule in the C24, Si@C24, Si-doped C24, and C20 fullerenes has been studied based on calculated electronic properties of these fullerenes using Density functional Theory (DFT). It is found that energy of benzene adsorption on C24, Si@C24, and Si-doped C24 fullerenes were in range of –2.93 and –51.19 kJ/mol with little changes in their electronic structure. The results demonstrated that the C24, Si@C24, and Si-doped C24 fullerenes cannot be employed as a chemical adsorbent or sensor for benzene. Silicon doping cannot significantly modify both the electronic properties and benzene adsorption energy of C24 fullerene. On the other hand, C20 fullerene exhibits a high sensitivity, so that the energy gap of the fullerene is changed almost 89.19% after the adsorption process. We concluded that the C20 fullerene can be employed as a reliable material for benzene detection.  相似文献

The interaction of ozone with chlorinated methanes adsorbed on a thin ice film was studied over the temperature range 77–292 K. Ozone was shown to oxidize chlorinated methanes starting with 210 K to produce chlorine oxides of various compositions. The products formed in the oxidation of chlorinated methanes with ozone over the temperature range 77–292 K were analyzed by IR Fourier transform spectroscopy. Along with carbon dioxide and water, chlorine oxides in high oxidation states were predominantly formed.  相似文献

The solubility of YF3, CeF3, PrF3, NdF3, and DyF3 in solutions containing 0–4.496% mol/L (0–35 wt %) of H2SO4 and 0–27.6 g/L of H3PO4 (0–20 g/L of P2O5) at 20 °C was determined. Higher solubility in sulfuric acid solutions compared to that in hydrochloric and phosphoric acid solutions was attributed to the formation of fluorosulfate complexes M2(SO4)F4(M = Y, Ce, Pr, Nd, Dy). The effect of minor concentrations of the phosphate ions on the solubility of YF3, CeF3, PrF3, NdF3, and DyF3 in sulfuric acid solutions and the effect of fluoride ions on the recovery of lanthanides during sulfuric acid leaching from the phosphohemihydrate were discussed.  相似文献

As the solubility is a direct measure of stability, this study compares the solubilities of ZnFe2O4, Fe3O4 and Fe2O3 in high temperature water. Through literature analysis and formula derivation, it is shown that it is reasonable to assume ZnFe2O4 and Fe(OH)3 coexist when ZnFe2O4 is dissolved in water. Results indicated that the solubility of ZnFe2O4 is much lower than that of Fe2O3 or Fe3O4. The low solubility of ZnFe2O4 indicates that it is more protectively stable as an anticorrosion phase. Moreover, the gap between the solubility of ZnFe2O4 and that of Fe3O4 or Fe2O3 was enlarged with an increase of temperature. This means that ZnFe2O4 is more protective at higher temperatures. Further analysis indicated that with the increase of temperature, the solubility of ZnFe2O4 changed little while those of Fe2O3 or Fe3O4 changed a lot. Little change of the solubility of ZnFe2O4 with increase of temperature showed that ZnFe2O4 is stable. The very low and constant solubility of ZnFe2O4 suggests that it is more protective than Fe2O3 and Fe3O4, especially in water at higher temperature.  相似文献

Phase equilibria in the three-component systems LiBr-LiVO3-Li2MoO4 and LiBr-Li2SO4-Li2MoO4 have been studied using differential thermal analysis (DTA). Eutectic compositions have been determined (mol %): in the system LiBr-LiVO3-Li2MoO4, 56.0 LiBr, 22.0 LiVO3, and 22.0 Li2MoO4 with a melting temperature of 413°C; and in the system LiBr-Li2SO4-Li2MoO4, 65.0 LiBr, 14.0 Li2SO4, and 21.0 Li2MoO4 with a melting temperature of 421°C.
