The non-local transport phenomenon induced by supersonic molecular beam injection (SMBI) was first observed in the HL-2A tokomak. In comparison with the phenomena induced by other methods in various tokamaks, it has its own feature: the effect induced by SMBI in HL-2A lasts much longer than that induced by pellet injection in other similar size tokomaks. Both the bolometer radiation and He emission decrease when the non-local effect appears. This suggests that an electron transport barrier has been formed at the position just outside the q = 1 surface when the non-local effect appears.  相似文献

It is very important to improve the penetration depth and fueling efficiency of supersonic molecular beam injection(SMBI) especially for the next generation fusion devices such as ITER. Two components, a fast component(FC) and a slow component(SC), have been observed in the HL-2A SMBI experiments for several years, and the FC can penetrate much more deeply than the common SMBIs which draws a great deal of attention for a better fueling method. It is the first time to the FC and SC of SMBI have been simulated and interpreted in theory and simulation in this paper with the trans-neut module of the BOUT++ code. The simulation results of the FC and SC are clear and distinguishable in the same way as the observation in experiment. For the major mechanism of the FC and SC, it is found that although the difference in the injection velocity has some effect on the penetration depth difference between the FC and SC, it is mainly caused by the self-blocking effect of the first ionized SMB. We also discuss the influence of the initial plasma density on the FC and SC,and the variation of the SC penetration depth with its injection velocity.  相似文献

用22道Hα辐射测量阵列观测了HL-2A装置偏滤器位形超声分子束的注入过程。观测结果表明:在HL-2A装置偏滤器位形下,当分子束注入气源压强大于1MPa时,Hα辐射沿径向分布存在两个峰值,其第二个Ha辐射峰值位于r/a~0.8附近,表明大部分氢粒子在等离子体边缘(SOL区域)即被离解或电离,但仍有部分氢粒子沉积在分界面内5cm。  相似文献

The improved energy confinement has been observed in many tokamaks with center pellet injection since 1980's. The pellet enhanced performance ( PEP ) was achieved with high power additional heating in JET and other large tokamaks. The mechanism of the PEP mode has been analyzed theoretically . The analysis shows that a few mechanisms are involved in the reduction of anomalous transport and the relative weight of these mechanisms depends on the experimental conditions. In this paper we report the pellet injection experiment results without auxiliary heating on HL-2A tokamak. Our works focus on the investigation of the electron heat transport in ohmic discharges with center pellet fuelling.  相似文献

As an ordinary mainly auxiliary heating on tokamak plasma, electron cyclotron resonance heating ( ECRH ) is an useful method to the study of electron heat transport and confinement performance. The ELMy H-mode plasmas realized with the supersonic molecular beam injection(SMBI) are studied in relation to the energy confinement and the heating power for the L–H transition(P_(L-H) ) in the HL-2A tokamak. A database is assembled for this study based on the ELMy H-mode discharges during the experimental campaigns in the period 2009–2013at the HL-2A tokamak. The statistical results show that the SMBI is favourable for reaching the H-mode by reducing the heating power at the L–H transition and for the H-mode performance by improving the energy confinement compared with the ordinary gas puffing(GP). The reduction of P_(L-H) is about 20% when the density is low, and the energy confinement enhancement factor of H_(H98y2)= τ_E/τ_(th,98y2) ≈ 1.5 is achieved with the SMBI. Note that in the database the density dependence of P_(L-H) is non-monotonic with the ˉne,min≈ 3×10~(19) m~(-3) at which the P_(L-H) is minimum. Most of P_(L-H) data are on the low density branch where the P_(L-H) increases with the decrease in density. The minimum of the P_(L-H) in HL-2A is comparable to the ITPA multi-machine threshold power scaling P_(thr■scal08). The physics behind the reduction of the P_(L-H) with the SMBI is also investigated in relation to the change of the density gradient at the plasma edge, the gas fuelling efficiency, and the recycling.  相似文献

Using the trans-neut module of the BOUT++ code, we study how the fueling penetration depth of supersonic molecular beam injection(SMBI) is affected by plasma density and temperature profiles. The plasma densities and temperatures in L-mode are initialized to be a set of linear profiles with different core plasma densities and temperatures. The plasma profiles are relaxed to a set of steady states with different core plasma densities or temperatures. For a fixed gradient, the steady profiles are characterized by the core plasma density and temperature. The SMBI is investigated based on the final steady profiles with different core plasma densities or temperatures. The simulated results suggest that the SMB injection will be blocked by dense core plasma and high-temperature plasma. Once the core plasma density is set to be N_(i0)= 1.4N_0(N_0= 1 × 10~(19)m~(-3)) it produces a deeper penetration depth. When N_(i0) is increased from 1.4N_0 to 3.9N_0 at intervals of 0.8N_0, keeping a constant core temperature of T_(e0)= 725 eV at the radial position of ψ = 0.65, the penetration depth gradually decreases. Meanwhile, when the density is fixed at N_(i0)= 1.4N_0 and the core plasma temperature T_(e0) is set to 365 eV,the penetration depth increases. The penetration depth decreases as T_(e0) is increased from 365 eV to 2759 eV. Sufficiently large N_(i0) or T_(e0) causes most of the injected molecules to stay in the scrape-off-layer(SOL) region, lowering the fueling efficiency.  相似文献

Transient perturbation methods are most appropriate to study particle transport in tokamaks. Two most commonly used techniques of impurity injection are laser blow-off and gas puffing. The laser blow-off injection technique is undoubtedly the best one to study impurity transport because the injection time and the alnount of injected material can be controlled in a certain phase of the discharge with a minimum perturbation of the plasma parameters. The information of the impurity transport is obtained from the detection of emission of injected impurity ions located in different spatial regions. The radiation includes line emission, soft X-ray emission and plasma global radiation.  相似文献

Non-recycling impurities are injected into ohmic HL-2A plasma for the first time. The impurities of titanium and aluminium are injected in the discharges with varying plasma density and current. The convection and diffusion process of the injected impurity ions during the inward phase are qualitatively investigated. The results show that the transport of impurities is much slower in the central region of the plasma than outside of it and that it is greatly enhanced during sawtooth crashes.  相似文献

HL-2A is a new middle-sized tokamak device with two closed divertors. In 2004 campaign siliconization as a wall condition has been first done on HL-2A since the starting operation of the device. By using sil-iconization we observed that impurity has been obviously decreased. The tokamak disruption is a dramatic event in which the plasma confinement is suddenly destroyed. Detailed experimental studies of disruptions have been made in many machines. During disruption, the plasma current and plasma thermal energy content collapse in an uncontrollable way, thereby applying mechanical forces and heat loads onto the vacuum vessel components. For that reason, the disruptions in a tokamak must be investigated and the physical processes leading to and occurring at the disruption need to be understood.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a bipartite system composed of two subsystems each coupled to its own thermal environment. Based on a collision model, we mainly study whether the approximation (i.e., the inter-system coupling is ignored when modeling the system–environment interaction) is valid or not. We also address the problem of heat transport unitedly for both excitation-conserving system–environment interactions and non-excitation-conserving system–environment interactions. For the former interaction, as the inter-system interaction strength increases, at first this approximation gets worse as expected, but then counter-intuitively gets better even for a stronger inter-system coupling. For the latter interaction with asymmetry, this approximation gets progressively worse. In this case we realize a perfect thermal rectification, and we cannot find an apparent rectification effect for the former interaction. Finally and more importantly, our results show that whether this approximation is valid or not is closely related to the quantum correlations between the subsystems, i.e., the weaker the quantum correlations, the more justified the approximation and vice versa.  相似文献

1 Introduction HL-2A is a middle size ( R= 1.65 m, α=0.40 m) tokamak with a closed divertor. The main subjects are investigation of the divertor and edge plasma physics, plasma transport and its mechanism, plasma profile control with auxiliary heating and so on. 在HL-2A装置的偏滤器位形运行模式下,用偏滤器靶板上的平面型嵌入式静电探针阵列测量了同一环截面的内外和上下四个中性化板上的电子温度、密度、悬浮电位分布。偏滤器运行模式下的边缘电子温度高于孔栏运行模式下的边缘的电子温度。比较了内外靶板之间的温度不对称性。给出了由18个米尔诺夫线圈信号重建获得的磁分界面,并用强磁场快速电离规测量了偏滤器室的中性气体压强变化。测量结果表明,在偏滤器运行模式下,主真空室中边缘粒子再循环降低,杂质通量水平下降。  相似文献

The application of the hyperspherical harmonic approach to the case of non-local two-body potentials is described. Given the properties of the hyperspherical harmonic functions, there are no difficulties in considering the approach in both coordinate and momentum space. The binding energies and other ground-state properties of A = 3 and 4 nuclei are calculated using the CD Bonn 2000 and N3LO two-body potentials. The results are shown to be in excellent agreement with corresponding ones obtained by other accurate techniques.  相似文献
