Fixed Point Theory for 1-Set Weakly Contractive Operators in Banach Spaces

In this work, using an analogue of Sadovskii＇s fixed point result and several important inequalities we investigate and give new existence theorems for the nonlinear operator equation F（x） =μx, （μ≥1） for some weakly sequentially continuous, weakly condensing and weakly 1-set weakly contractive operators with different boundary conditions. Correspondingly, we can obtain some applicable fixed point theorems of Leray-Schauder, Altman and Furi-Pera types in the weak topology setting which generalize and improve the corresponding results of [3,15,16].     

FIXED POINTS FOR WEAKLY INWARD MAPPINGS IN BANACH SPACES （II）

S. Hu and Y. Sun[1] defined the fixed point index for weakly inward mappings, investigated its properties and studied fixed points for such mappings. In this paper, following S. Hu and Y. Sun, we further investigate boundary conditions, under which the fixed point index for i（A, Ω, p） is equal to nonzero, where i（A, Ω, p） is the completely continuous and weakly inward mapping. Correspondingly, we can obtain many new fixed point theorems of the completely continuous and weakly inward mapping, which generalize some famous theorems such as Rothe＇s theorem, Altman＇s theorem, Petryshyn＇s theorem etc. in the case of weakly inward mappings. In addition, our conclusions extend the famous fixed point theorem of cone expansion and compression to the case of weakly inward mappings. Moreover, the main results contain and generalize the corresponding results in the recent work[2].     

An order preserving inequality for three operators via furuta inequality

Furuta showed that if A≥B≥0,then for each r≥0,f（p）=（A^r/2 B^p A^r/2）^t＋r/p＋r is decreasing for p≥t≥0.Using this result,the following inequality（C^r/2（AB^2A）^δC^ r/2）^ p-1＋r/4δ＋r ≤C^p-1＋r is obtained for 0〈p ≤1,r≥1,1/4≤δ≤1 and three positive operators A, B, C satisfy（A^1/2BA^1/2）^p/2≤A^p,（B^1/2AB^1/2）^p/2≥B^p,（C^1/2AC^1/2）^p/2≤C^p,（A^1/2CA^1/2）^p/2≥A^p.     

Weighted Endpoint Estimates for Multilinear θ-type Calderon-Zygmund Operator

In this paper, weighted endpoint boundedness of multilinear θ-type Calderon-Zygmund operator is obtained.     

Weighted Estimates for the Maximal Commutator of Singular Integral Operator on Spaces of Homogeneous Type

Weighted estimates with general weights are established for the maximal operator associated with the commutator generated by singular integral operator and BMO function on spaces of homogeneous type, where the associated kernel satisfies the HSlder condition on the first variable and some condition which is fairly weaker than the Holder condition on the second variable.     

Small Compact Perturbation of Operators in B∞（Ω）

Abstract： We consider an approximation problem related to strongly irreducible operators, that is, does the direct sum of a strongly irreducible operator in B∞（Ω） and certain operator have a small compact perturbation which is a strongly irreducible operator in B∞（Ω）？ In this paper, we prove that the direct sum of any strongly irreducible operator in B∞（Ω） and certain biquasitriangular operator have small compact perturbations which are strongly irreducible operators in B∞（Ω）.     

一个减算子不动点定理及其对非线性Volterra型积分方程的应用

利用锥理论,在不需要上下解的条件下,获得一个新的减算子不动点定理,推广了最近文献的结果;并给出Banach空间中非线性Volterra型积分方程解的唯一性.     

COMMON FIXED POINT OF GENERALIZED WEAKLY CONTRACTIVE MAPS IN PARTIAL METRIC SPACES

In this paper, using the context of complete partial metric spaces, some common fixed point results of maps that satisfy the generalized(φ, ψ)-weak contractive conditions are obtained. Our results generalize, extend, unify, enrich and complement many existing results in the literature. Example are given showing the validaty of our results.

设p≥1,且A、B是Hilbert空间上两个正算子,T.Furuta给出若A≥B>0,那么对任意t∈[0,1]有,G(r,s)=A-r/2{Ar/2(A-t/2BpA-t/2)sAr/2}1-t+r/(p-t)+srA-r/2是关于r,s在r≥t及s≥1上单调递减的,我们给出该结果可以推广到多个算子的情形.     

函数F(α)=(A~rB~αA~r)~((p+2r)/(α+2r))的最优单调区间

设p>0且A,B是Hilbert空间上两个正算子,Furuta给出若A>B>0,那么对任意r>0,F(α)=(ArBαAr)p+2r/α+2r 是关于α>P单调递减的,但是他指出这个结果在0<α0的条件下并不一定成立.本文给出: (1)如果-1/2-2r,那么F(α)在(-∞,-P-4r]及[p,+∞)上单调递增,并且这两个区间不能扩大; (3)如果r>0,P>0,那么[p,+∞)也是F(α)的最佳单调区间.     

Least number of periodic points of self-maps of Lie groups

There are two algebraic lower bounds of the number of n-periodic points of a self-map f :M → M of a compact smooth manifold of dimension at least 3:N Fn(f) = min{#Fix(gn); g ～f; g is continuous} and N J Dn(f) = min{#Fix(gn); g ～ f; g is smooth}.In general,N J Dn(f) may be much greater than N Fn(f).If M is a torus,then the invariants are equal.We show that for a self-map of a nonabelian compact Lie group,with free fundamental group,the equality holds  all eigenvalues of a quotient cohomology homomorphism induced by f have moduli ≤ 1.     

The product of the restrained domination numbers of a graph and its complement

Let G=(V,E) be a graph.A set S■V is a restrained dominating set if every vertex in V-S is adjacent to a vertex in S and to a vertex in V-S.The restrained domination number of G,denoted γr(G),is the smallest cardinality of a restrained dominating set of G.In this paper,we show that if G is a graph of order n≥4,then γr(G)γr(G)≤2n.We also characterize the graphs achieving the upper bound.     

ON POINTWISE R-SUBWEAKLY COMMUTING MAPS AND BEST APPROXIMATIONS

The main purpose of this paper is to prove some common fixed point theorems for pointwise R-subweakly commuting maps on non-starshaped domains in p-normed spaces and locally convex topological vector spaces. As applications, invariant approximation results are established. This work provides extension as well as substantial improvement of several results in the existing literature.     

Strong Convergence of an Implicit Iteration Process for a Finite Family of Asymptotically Ф-pseudocontractive Mappings

Strong convergence theorems for approximation of common fixed points of asymptotically Ф-quasi-pseudocontractive mappings and asymptotically C-strictly- pseudocontractive mappings are proved in real Banach spaces by using a new composite implicit iteration scheme with errors. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the main results of Sun, Gu and Osilike published on J. Math. Anal. Appl.     

THE BOUNDEDNESS OF MAXIMAL BOCHNER-RIESZ OPERATOR AND MAXIMAL COMMUTATOR ON MORREY TYPE SPACES

The boundedness of maximal Bochner-Riesz operator B^δ＊ and that of maximal commutator B^bδ＊, generated by this operator and Lipschitz function on the classical Morrey space and generalized Morrey space are established.     

Sharp upper bounds for \lambda _1^{L_r } of immersed hypersurfaces and their stability in space forms

In this paper we derive new sharp upper bounds for the first positive eigenvalue λ1^Lr of the linearized operator of the higher order mean curvature of a closed hypersurface immersed into a Riemannian space form R^（n＋l）（c） （c 〉 0）. Our bounds are extrinsic in the sense that they are given in terms of the higher order mean curvatures. Under the assumption Hr＋2 〉 0, by establishing two valuable integral formulas, we obtain unified sharp upper bounds of λ1^Lr. We also give an estimation of the upper bounds of the first eigenvalue of a SchrSdinger-type operator, by which we prove those hypersurfaces with positive constant Hr＋l in any space forms are stable if and only if they are geodesic spheres, thus generalizing the previous result obtained only in the case c≤0.     

Approximation Properties by q-Durrmeyer-Stancu Operators

In this paper, we are dealing with q-Bemstein-Durrmeyer-Stancu operators. Firstly, we have estimated moments of these operators. Then we have discussed some approximation properties and asymptotic formulas. We have obtained better estimations by using King type approach and given statistical convergence for the operators.

POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO FOURTH ORDER MULTI-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS WITH p-LAPLACIAN OPERATOR

In this paper, we consider the existence of positive solutions to a singular fourth order p-Laplacian equation. By the upper and lower solution method and fixed point theorems, the existence of positive solutions to the boundary value problem is obtained under the assumption that the nonlinear term is decreasing.     

Multilinear Commutators of Sublinear Operators on Triebel-Lizorkin Spaces

In this sublinear operators paper, the boundedness of multilinear commutators related to with Lipschitz function on Triebel-Lizorkin spaces is given. As an application, we prove that the multilinear commutators of Littlewood-Paley operator and Bochner-Riesz operator are bounded on Triebel-Lizorkin spaces.
