Let (L, [p]) be a finite dimensional restricted Lie algebra over an algebraically closed field F of characteristic p ≥ 3, X ∈ L* a linear form. In this article we study the Auslander-Reiten quivers of certain blocks of the reduced enveloping algebra u(L,x). In particular, it is shown that the enveloping algebras of supersolvable Lie algebras do not possess AR-components of Euclidean type.  相似文献

Let A and B be two finite dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field, related to each other by a stable equivalence of Morita type. We prove that A and B have the same number of isomorphism classes of simple modules if and only if their 0-degree Hochschild Homology groups HH 0(A) and HH 0(B) have the same dimension. The first of these two equivalent conditions is claimed by the Auslander-Reiten conjecture. For symmetric algebras we will show that the Auslander-Reiten conjecture is equivalent to other dimension equalities, involving the centers and the projective centers of A and B. This motivates our detailed study of the projective center, which now appears to contain the main obstruction to proving the Auslander-Reiten conjecture for symmetric algebras. As a by-product, we get several new invariants of stable equivalences of Morita type.  相似文献

Let A be a finite dimensional, basic and connected algebra (associative, with 1) over an algebraically closed field k. Denote by e1,...,en a complete set of primitive orthogonal idempotents in A and by Ai= A/AeiA. A is called a minimal algebra of infinite representation type provided A is itself of infinite representation type, whereas all Ai, 1≤i≤n,are of finite representation type. The main result gives the classification of the minimal algebras having a preprojective component in their Auslander-Reiten quiver. The classification is obtained by realizing that these algebras are essentially given by preprojective tilting modules over tame hereditary algebras.  相似文献

Let 𝔭 q (1 + 1) be a nonstandard Poincaré Hopf algebra, we characterize all finite dimensional completely E-semisimple modules of 𝔭 q (1 + 1). We also classify all finite dimensional E-semisimple modules of 𝔭 q for a special quotient algebra of 𝔭 q (1 + 1). Moreover, the decomposition of tensor product of two finite dimensional E-semisimple indecomposable modules is obtained.  相似文献

In the paper, we introduce a wide class of domestic finite dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field which are obtained from the hereditary algebras of Euclidean type , n≥1, by iterated one-point extensions by two-ray modules. We prove that these algebras are domestic and their Auslander-Reiten quivers admit infinitely many nonperiodic connected components with infinitely many orbits with respect to the action of the Auslander-Reiten translation. Moreover, we exhibit a wide class of almost sincere domestic simply connected algebras of large global dimensions.  相似文献

Abstract

Let A be a basic connected finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field. We show that if Γ is an infinite connected component of the Auslander-Reiten quiver ΓA of A in which each ΓA-orbit contains only finitely many vertices, then the number of indecomposable direct summands of the middle term of any mesh, whose starting vertex belongs to the infinite stable part of Γ, is less than or equal to 3. Moreover, if the nonstable vertices belong to τA-orbits of exceptional projectives in Γ, then Γ can be obtained from a stable tube by a finite number of multiple coray-ray insertions of type α?γ and multiple coray-ray insertions of type α?γ.  相似文献

Stable equivalence preserves representation type   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Given two finite dimensional algebras and , it is shown that is of wild representation type if and only if is of wild representation type provided that the stable categories of finite dimensional modules over and $\Gamma$ are equivalent. The proof uses generic modules. In fact, a stable equivalence induces a bijection between the isomorphism classes of generic modules over and , and the result follows from certain additional properties of this bijection. In the second part of this paper the Auslander-Reiten translation is extended to an operation on the category of all modules. It is shown that various finiteness conditions are preserved by this operation. Moreover, the Auslander-Reiten translation induces a homeomorphism between the set of non-projective and the set of non-injective points in the Ziegler spectrum. As a consequence one obtains that for an algebra of tame representation type every generic module remains fixed under the Auslander-Reiten translation. Received: July 24, 1996  相似文献

Let X be a 3 local, finite, simply connected H-space with associative homology ring . Some known examples are the Lie group , Harper's H-space X(3) and any odd dimensional sphere . We prove the cohomology algebra is isomorphic to the cohomology algebra of a finite product of and odd dimensional spheres. Let G be a finite group. The stable module category of G has been applied extensively in group representation theory. In particular, it has been used to great effect that it is a triangulated category which is compactly generated by the class of finitely generated modules. Let H be a subgroup of G. It is possible to define a stable module category of G relative to H. This is also a triangulated category, but no non-trivial examples have been known where it was compactly generated. While the finitely generated modules are compact objects, they do not necessarily generate the category. We show that the relative stable category is compactly generated if the group algebra of H has finite representation type. In characteristic p, this is equivalent to the Sylow p-subgroups of H being cyclic.  相似文献

We investigate the behaviour of Auslander-Reiten sequences of modules over a finite dimensional algebra over a field under base field extension. It is proved that an Auslander-Reiten sequence splits into a direct sum of Auslander-Reiten sequences provided the extension is separable in the sense of MacLane.

We call a monoidal category C a Serre category if for any C, DC such that CD is semisimple, C and D are semisimple objects in C. Let H be an involutory Hopf algebra, M, N two H-(co)modules such that MN is (co)semisimple as a H-(co)module. If N (resp. M) is a finitely generated projective k-module with invertible Hattory-Stallings rank in k then M (resp. N) is (co)semisimple as a H-(co)module. In particular, the full subcategory of all finite dimensional modules, comodules or Yetter-Drinfel’d modules over H the dimension of which are invertible in k are Serre categories.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group acting linearly on a finite dimensional vector space V defined over a field k of characteristic p, where p is assumed to divide the group order. Let R := S(V *) be the symmetric algebra of the dual on which G acts naturally by algebra automorphisms. We study the RG-modules Hi(G, R) for i > 0. In particular we give a formula which describes the annihilator of a general element of Hi(G, R) in terms of the relative transfer ideals of RG, and consequently prove that the associated primes of these cohomology modules are equal to the radicals of certain relative transfer ideals. Let R be an associative ring with identity. A unital right R-module M is called “strongly finite dimensional” if Sup{G.dim (M/N) | N ≤ M} < +∞, where G.dim denotes the Goldie dimension of a module. Properties of strongly finite dimensional modules are explored. It is also proved that: (1) If R is left F-injective and semilocal, then R is left finite dimensional. (2) R is right artinian if and only if R is right strongly finite dimensional and right semiartinian. Some known results are obtained as corollaries.  相似文献

Let X be an orthosymplectie Lie superalgebra of type B or D. The weight structure of the tensor product moduleW=? M V, of M-copies of the natural representation. V, of X is studied from a partition point of view. A combinatorial characterization of the dominant weights of W and the weights of W which are highest weights for the finite dimensional irreducible modules is given. This partition point of view allows us to prove that the dominant weights of W and the weights of W which are highest weights for the finite dimensional irreducible modules stabilize as the rank of X gets large.  相似文献

Let (K, M, H) be an upper triangular biomodule problem. Brüstle and Hille showed that the opposite algebra A of the endomorphism algebra of a projective generator P of the matrices category of (K, M, H) is quasi-hereditary, and there is an equivalence between the category of Δ-good modules of A and Mat(K, M). In this note, based on the tame theorem for bimodule problems, we show that if the algebra A associated with an upper triangular bimodule problem is of Δ-tame representation type, then the category F(Δ) has the homogeneous property, i.e. almost all modules in F(Δ) are isomorphic to their Auslander-Reiten translations. Moreover, if (K, M, H) is an upper triangular bipartite bimodule problem, then A is of Δ-tame representation type if and only if F(Δ) is homogeneous. Let G = SL(2,pn ) with p odd. Let KG be the group algebra of G over an algebraically closed field K of characteristic p. In general, a finite dimensional basic algebra can be described by a quiver with relations. For KG, the quiver has been known. Namely the simple KG modules and their extensions determine it. The aim of this paper is to get the relations and describe the basic algebra of KG by the quiver with them.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group and k be a field of characteristic p. We show how to glue Rickard idempotent modules for a pair of open subsets of the cohomology variety along an automorphism for their intersection. The result is an endotrivial module. An interesting aspect of the construction is that we end up constructing finite dimensional endotrivial modules using infinite dimensional Rickard idempotent modules. We prove that this construction produces a subgroup of finite index in the group of endotrivial modules. More generally, we also show how to glue any pair of kG-modules.  相似文献

Let H be a Hopf algebra over a field k. Under some assumptions on H we state and prove a generalization of the Wedderburn-Malcev theorem for i7-comodule algebras. We show that our version of this theorem holds for a large enough class of Hopf algebras, such as coordinate rings of completely reducible affine algebraic groups, finite dimensional Hopf algebras over fields of characteristic 0 and group algebras. Some dual results are also included.  相似文献

Let H and its dual H* be finite dimensional semisimple Hopf algebras. In this paper, we firstly prove that the derived representation types of an algebra A and the crossed product algebra A#σH are coincident. This is an improvement of the conclusion about representation type of an algebra in Li and Zhang [Sci China Ser A, 2006, 50: 1-13]. Secondly, we give the relationship between Gorenstein projective modules over A and that over A#σH. Then, using this result, it is proven that A is a finite dimensional CM-finite Gorenstein algebra if and only if so is A#σH.  相似文献
