基于磁流体理论利用CIP方法数值对电阻磁流体中的磁岛演化动力学行为进行了长时间模拟。研究发现,磁岛饱和后流体演化并未结束,磁场重联将导致流体的宏观剪切流动。这一物理图象可用于解释托卡马克等离子体L-H模转换过程中观察到的磁流体行为。  相似文献

The magnetic merging process related to pairwise magnetic islands coalescence is investigated by two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations with a guide field.Owing to the force of attraction between parallel currents within the initial magnetic islands,the magnetic islands begin to approach each other and merge into one big island.We find that this newly formed island is unstable and can be divided into two small magnetic islands spontaneously.Lastly,these two small islands merge again.We follow the time evolution of this process,in which the contributions of three mechanisms of electron acceleration at different stages,including the Fermi,parallel electric field,and betatron mechanisms,are studied with the guide center theory.  相似文献

The effects of out-of-plane shear flows on fast magnetic reconnection are numerically investigated by a twodimensional(2D)hybrid model in an initial Harris sheet equilibrium with flows.The equilibrium and driven shear flows out of the 2D reconnection plane with symmetric and antisymmetric profiles respectively are used in the simulation.It is found that the out-of-plane flows with shears in-plane can change the quadrupolar structure of the out-of-plane magnetic field and,therefore,modify the growth rate of magnetic reconnection.Furthermore,the driven flow varying along the anti-parallel magnetic field can either enhance or reduce the reconnection rate as the direction of flow changes.Secondary islands are also generated in the process with converting the initial X-point into an O-point.  相似文献

近20年来,大量的磁岛链现象从空间、天体物理到磁约束实验室等离子体中被观察到,并且有关磁岛链现象的许多物理特性可以直接被计算机模拟结果所证实.磁岛链理论在磁重联理论中的重要进展为快速磁重联的发生机制提供了更加具有说服力的解释.本文采用二维三分量的磁流体力学模型,数值研究了不同宽度和不同强度的垂直平面驱动流对磁重联中磁岛链不稳定性的影响,并分析了导向场和垂直平面的驱动流对磁岛链的共同作用.研究结果表明:垂直平面驱动流的宽度越宽或强度越强,越容易产生磁岛链结构.电流片中的小磁岛个数及重联率随着垂直平面驱动流宽度及强度的增加而增加.另外,导向场会改变重联平面内磁岛链的对称性.相同导向场情况下,驱动流强度越大,小磁岛的增长速度越快.  相似文献

A rotamak is one kind of compact spherically shaped magnetic-confinement device. In a rotamak the plasma current is driven by means of rotating magnetic field (RMF). The driven current can reverse the original equilibrium field and generate a field-reversed-configuration. In a conventional rotamak, a toroidal field (TF) is not necessary for the RMF to drive plasma current, but it was found that the present of an additional TF can influence the RMF current drive. In this paper the effect of TF on the RMF current drive in a rotamak are investigated in some detail. The experimental results show that addition of TF increases the RMF driven current greatly and enhances the RMF penetration dramatically. Without TF, the RMF can only penetrate into plasma in the edge region. When a TF is added, the RMF can reach almost the whole plasma region. This is an optimal strength of toroidal magnetic field for getting maximum plasma current when Bv and radio frequency generator power are fixed. Besides driving current, the RMF generates high harmonic fields in rotamak plasma. The effect of TF on the harmonic field spectra are also reported.[第一段]  相似文献

In this work, we present the investigation of the formation features and internal structure of dust clouds created in plasma of glow discharge in the external magnetic field corresponding to a range of moderate and strong fields, at which the ion component is magnetized. The analysis of the plasma magnetization in the presence of dust components is carried out. We defined the values of magnetic induction at which the changes in dynamics of plasma particles in magnetic field in light inert gases are expected. The experimental setup was built in two versions. For the purpose of generating of magnetic field, the first setup was equipped with ordinary magnetic coils, and the second one included a superconducting solenoid. The discharge tubes, the main chambers where plasma was ignited and maintained in a glow discharge in lowered pressure, also have certain peculiarities, which we describe below. While using helium as a bulk gas, our study focused only on the dust trap in the region of narrowing discharge current. For neon, we used two traps: the striation trap and one just mentioned above placed in the narrowing of the discharge tube. As a result, the steady dust structures in a glow discharge under the magnetization of ions and electrons were obtained for the first time. Dust structures were rotated and tended to form a dust cluster and shell structure. A number of parameters of magnetization achieved in experiments were calculated.  相似文献

We consider a model with two conserved currents, vector and axial, and two associated chemical potentials, μ   and μ5μ5. In the presence of external magnetic and electric fields the axial current is anomalous. Generalizing recent results and using thermodynamic relations alone we demonstrate that one can evaluate the chiral magnetic effect (ChME), that is the electric current flowing in the direction of the external magnetic field. In the linear in the chemical potential approximation the current is the same as for non-interacting fermions. In other words, there exists a hydrodynamic “non-renormalization theorem for the ChME”.  相似文献

The effects of a shear flow on nonlinear evolution of double tearing mode in Hall magnetohydrodynamics are investigated. The parallel shear flow displays a suppressing effect on the double tearing mode. Due to the effect of the shear flow, the relative displacements between the magnetic islands are changed, and therefore their mutual interactions become weak. Furthermore, the nonlinear impulsive growth phase of the double tearing mode is delayed with increasing the shear flow velocity. When the magnetic islands are pushing against each other, the width of current sheets decreases drastically, and therefore the Hall effects are dominant and the magnetic reconnection enhances greatly.  相似文献

Evidences of internal particle transport barriers have been observed in plasma discharges with reversed plasma flow. To investigate the influence of the radial electric field profile on these barriers, we apply a drift wave map that describe the plasma particle transport and allows the integration of particle drift in the presence of a given electrostatic turbulence spectrum. With this procedure we show that transport barriers due to the shearless flow invariant lines are created inside the plasma. Moreover, by varying the radial electric field profile, we observe the formation and destruction of internal transport barriers constituted by shearless invariant lines, as well as its effects on the transport in the map's phase space. Applicability of our results are discussed for the Texas Helimak, a toroidal plasma device in which the radial electric field can be changed by application of bias potential.  相似文献

In the last decades, many studies have been done about nervous system from the mathematical and computational point of view. Many mathematical models have been proposed to describe neuron. Most of them have described the membrane potential of a neuron in terms of the leakage current and the synaptic inputs. Very recently, according to the Maxwell electromagnetic induction theorem, researchers proposed a new neuron model which considers inner magnetic fluctuation and external electromagnetic radiation as a significant missing part that can participate in neural activity. In this paper, dynamical properties of this new model, such as equilibria and its stability, phase portraits, bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponents, and basin of attraction, are investigated. Moreover, an implementation of electronic circuit and FPGA is also done to verify the feasibility of the theoretical model.  相似文献

Inverse bremsstrahlung is one important way to deliver laser energy to the plasma in inertial confinement fusion. In this article, we study the collisional absorption rate as obtained from the Fokker–Planck treatment of an unmagnetized plasma in harmonic laser field. The electron–ion collision rate is considered in the Krook approximation, and the electron distribution function is considered a Maxwellian function. We evaluate the inverse bremsstrahlung absorption near the irradiated plasma surface in the critical layer. We observe that absorption increases with shorter laser wavelength and lower electron temperatures. When the maximum electron velocity in the limit of q → 1 reaches infinity, the q-non-extensive distribution function reduces to the standard Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution.  相似文献

大型高功率脉冲装置广泛应用于高能量密度物理的实验室中,随着诊断技术和流体力学模拟技术水平的提高,基于此类装置,实验室天体物理方向取得一些新的重要进展,文章主要介绍帝国理工大学Z箍缩结构的MAGPIE 脉冲功率装置上开展的关于磁重联和喷流的实验进展,在磁重联实验中,发现重联电流片中电子温度和离子温度远高于入流等离子体的温度,必然有其他效应导致电子和离子的异常高温;喷流实验中观察到弓形激波和锥形激波的产生。最后对Z 箍缩装置实验室天体物理学的未来发展做一些展望。  相似文献

The formation mechanism of the interplanetary magnetic cloud (MC) boundaries is numerically investigatedby simulating the interactions between an MC of some initial momentum and a local interplanetary current sheet.The compressible 2.5D MHD equations are solved. Results show that the magnetic reconnection process is a possibleformation mechanism when an MC interacts with a surrounding current sheet. A number of interesting features arefound. For instance, the front boundary of the MCs is a magnetic reconnection boundary that could be caused by adriven reconnection ahead of the cloud, and the tail boundary might be caused by the driving of the entrained flowas a result of the Bernoulli principle. Analysis of the magnetic field and plasma data demonstrates that at these twoboundaries appear large value of the plasma parameterβ, clear increase of plasma temperature and density, distinctdecrease of magnetic magnitude, and a transition of magnetic field direction of about 180 degrees. The outcome of thepresent simulation agrees qualitatively with the observational results on MC boundary inferred from IMP-8, etc.  相似文献
