A simple and mild method for the conversion of varieties of aldehydes to the corresponding nitriles using aqueous ammonia and aqueous sodium dichloroiodate reagent at room temperature is discussed. A general and convenient method for a one-pot conversion of aldehydes and ketones into thioamides has been developed. The protocol involves oximation of aldehydes and ketones followed by deoxygenative thioamidation of oximes with O,O-diethyl dithiophosphoric acid which acts as an acid as well a source of sulfur. The method is operationally simple, high yielding, and also applicable to the conversion of amides and nitriles into the corresponding thioamides.  相似文献

The reaction of mercaptoacetic acid with nitriles was investigated. Whereas 4-hydroxythiazole derivative could be obtained from the reaction of benzoylacetonitrile and of ethyl cyanoacetate with mercaptoacetic acid, a bithiazole derivative was obtained on treatment of benzonitrile with the same reagent. The behaviour of the synthesised thiazole derivatives towards aromatic aldehydes and hydrazines is reported.  相似文献

An efficient and scalable route for the synthesis of nitriles was developed by oxoammonium salt (4-acetamido-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxoammonium tetrafluoroborate) mediated oxidative conversion of aldehydes with NH4OAc. A variety of aliphatic aldehydes as well as benzaldehydes were converted into the corresponding nitriles in high yields. The nitroxyl radical which is the reduced species of the used oxoammonium salt was recovered by simple acid-base extraction for the recycling.  相似文献

Organotin enolates and α-organotin substituted nitriles or esters which are generally easy to obtain, can be used to alkylate α to functional groups.In the case of organotin enolates, heating with alkylating agents, usually gives monoalkylated products in very good yields: numerous examples with ketones and aldehydes are described.With α-organotin substituted nitriles and esters, direct alkylation does not occur, but good results can be obtained in the presence of either magnesium or lithium bromide, or after a metal exchange reaction with a Grignard or lithium reagent.  相似文献

The direct conversion of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes to corresponding nitriles promoted by Pd(OAc)2 and phthalic acid which was hydrolyzed from N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) has been disclosed. Additionally, it was found that when water was used as the solvent, α,β-unsaturated amides was obtained as the main products in good to excellent yields. It was first reported that NHPI was utilized as the nitrogen source to synthesize α,β-unsaturated nitriles and amides from aldehydes. Control experiment demonstrated that aldehydes undergo a process of oximation and dehydration to form nitriles and amides.  相似文献

N,N-Dimethylhydrazones of aldehydes undergo a rapid oxidative cleavage to form nitriles in very high yields on reaction with HOF·CH3CN under mild conditions. The reaction is chemoselective and proceeds rapidly without racemization. The nitriles were resistant to further oxidation, even when a large excess of the reagent was employed.  相似文献

A new and efficient protocol for the conversion of aldehyde into nitriles by modified Schmidt reaction. The reaction is carried out under solvent free condition using sodium azide as a source of nitrogen and catalysed by p-toluene sulphonic acid in presence of silica surface with no side product. This transformation gives good to excellent yield for numerous aromatic, aliphatic and heterocyclic nitriles using very simple reagent. This method has avoided the use of transition metal catalyst, toxic cyanide, hazardous solvent and offers a greener, simple and environment friendly procedure.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] An efficient two-step conversion of alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydes into optically active gamma-oxy-alpha,beta-unsaturated nitriles is described. First, catalytic asymmetric cyanation-ethoxycarbonylation using (S)-YLi(3)tris(binaphthoxide) (YLB) afforded chiral allylic cyanohydrin carbonate. Second, a [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement proceeded without racemization under thermal conditions to give gamma-oxy-alpha,beta-unsaturated nitriles. Lewis acids were also effective for the rearrangement, and the reaction proceeded smoothly under mild conditions. To demonstrate the utility of the conversion, concise catalytic enantioselective total synthesis of (+)-patulolide C was performed.  相似文献

Dioxygen is used as the oxygenation agent in the rhodium‐mediated conversion of nitriles into amides. The characterization of intermediate species and model compounds as well as isotope‐labeling studies provided an insight into the reaction mechanism. The conversions of rhodium hydroperoxido or methylperoxido complexes with nitriles into metallacyclic rhodium‐ κ2‐(N,O)‐peroxyimidate compounds represent essential key steps. The former are accessible from a rhodium(III) peroxido complex and the latter represent rhodium derivatives of Payne’s reagent (peroxyimidic acids).  相似文献

We describe a nickel‐catalyzed cyanation reaction of aryl (pseudo)halides that employs butyronitrile as a cyanating reagent instead of highly toxic cyanide salts. A dual catalytic cycle merging retro‐hydrocyanation and cross‐coupling enables the conversion of a broad array of aryl chlorides and aryl/vinyl triflates into their corresponding nitriles. This new reaction provides a strategically distinct approach to the safe preparation of aryl cyanides, which are essential compounds in agrochemistry and medicinal chemistry.  相似文献
