Let X be a nonsingular algebraic curve of genus g?3, and let Mξ denote the moduli space of stable vector bundles of rank n?2 and degree d with fixed determinant ξ over X such that n and d are coprime. We assume that if g=3 then n?4 and if g=4 then n?3, and suppose further that n0, d0 are integers such that n0?1 and nd0+n0d>nn0(2g-2). Let E be a semistable vector bundle over X of rank n0 and degree d0. The generalised Picard bundle Wξ(E) is by definition the vector bundle over Mξ defined by the direct image where Uξ is a universal vector bundle over X×Mξ. We obtain an inversion formula allowing us to recover E from Wξ(E) and show that the space of infinitesimal deformations of Wξ(E) is isomorphic to H1(X,End(E)). This construction gives a locally complete family of vector bundles over Mξ parametrised by the moduli space M(n0,d0) of stable bundles of rank n0 and degree d0 over X. If (n0,d0)=1 and Wξ(E) is stable for all EM(n0,d0), the construction determines an isomorphism from M(n0,d0) to a connected component M0 of a moduli space of stable sheaves over Mξ. This applies in particular when n0=1, in which case M0 is isomorphic to the Jacobian J of X as a polarised variety. The paper as a whole is a generalisation of results of Kempf and Mukai on Picard bundles over J, and is also related to a paper of Tyurin on the geometry of moduli of vector bundles.  相似文献

Let (X,D) be an ?-pointed compact Riemann surface of genus at least two. For each point xD, fix parabolic weights such that . Fix a holomorphic line bundle ξ over X of degree one. Let PMξ denote the moduli space of stable parabolic vector bundles, of rank two and determinant ξ, with parabolic structure over D and parabolic weights . The group of order two line bundles over X acts on PMξ by the rule EL?EL. We compute the Chen-Ruan cohomology ring of the corresponding orbifold.  相似文献

Let (X,x0) be any one-pointed compact connected Riemann surface of genus g, with g≥3. Fix two mutually coprime integers r>1 and d. Let MX denote the moduli space parametrizing all logarithmic -connections, singular over x0, on vector bundles over X of degree d. We prove that the isomorphism class of the variety MX determines the Riemann surface X uniquely up to an isomorphism, although the biholomorphism class of MX is known to be independent of the complex structure of X. The isomorphism class of the variety MX is independent of the point x0X. A similar result is proved for the moduli space parametrizing logarithmic -connections, singular over x0, on vector bundles over X of degree d. The assumption r>1 is necessary for the moduli space of logarithmic -connections to determine the isomorphism class of X uniquely.  相似文献

Let X be a smooth projective curve of genus g?2 defined over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic p>0. Let MX(r) be the moduli space of semi-stable vector bundles with fixed trivial determinant. The relative Frobenius map induces by pull-back a rational map . We determine the equations of V in the following two cases (1) (g,r,p)=(2,2,2) and X nonordinary with Hasse-Witt invariant equal to 1 (see math.AG/0005044 for the case X ordinary), and (2) (g,r,p)=(2,2,3). We also show the existence of base points of V, i.e., semi-stable bundles E such that F∗E is not semi-stable, for any triple (g,r,p).  相似文献

Let X be a smooth n-dimensional projective variety defined over and let L be a line bundle on X. In this paper we shall construct a moduli space parametrizing -cohomology L-twisted Higgs pairs, i.e., pairs where E is a vector bundle on X and . If we take , the canonical line bundle on X, the variety is canonically identified with the cotangent bundle of the smooth locus of the moduli space of stable vector bundles on X and, as such, it has a canonical symplectic structure. We prove that, in the general case, in correspondence to the choice of a non-zero section , one can define, in a natural way, a Poisson structure on . We also analyze the relations between this Poisson structure on and the canonical symplectic structure of the cotangent bundle to the smooth locus of the moduli space of parabolic bundles over X, with parabolic structure over the divisor D defined by the section s. These results generalize to the higher dimensional case similar results proved in [Bo1] in the case of curves. Received November 4, 1997; in final form May 28, 1998  相似文献

Let C be a smooth projective curve of genus g?2 over a field k. Given a line bundle L on C, let Sympl2n,L be the moduli stack of vector bundles E of rank 2n on C endowed with a nowhere degenerate symplectic form up to scalars. We prove that this stack is birational to BGm×As for some s if deg(E)=n⋅deg(L) is odd and C admits a rational point PC(k) as well as a line bundle ξ of degree 0 with ξ⊗2?OC. It follows that the corresponding coarse moduli scheme of Ramanathan-stable symplectic bundles is rational in this case.  相似文献

Let M be a moduli space of stable principal G-bundles over a compact Kähler manifold (X,ωX), where G is a reductive linear algebraic group defined over C. Using the existence and uniqueness of a Hermite-Einstein connection on any stable G-bundle P over X, we have a Hermitian form on the harmonic representatives of H1(X,ad(P)), where ad(P) is the adjoint vector bundle. Using this Hermitian form a Hermitian structure on M is constructed; we call this the Petersson-Weil form. The Petersson-Weil form is a Kähler form, a fact which is a consequence of a fiber integral formula that we prove here. The curvature of the Petersson-Weil Kähler form is computed. Some further properties of this Kähler form are investigated.  相似文献

Let M(n, ξ) be the moduli space of stable vector bundles of rank n ≥ 3 and fixed determinant ξ over a complex smooth projective algebraic curve X of genus g ≥ 4. We use the gonality of the curve and r-Hecke morphisms to describe a smooth open set of an irreducible component of the Hilbert scheme of M(n, ξ), and to compute its dimension. We prove similar results for the scheme of morphisms ${M or_P (\mathbb{G}, M(n, \xi))}$ and the moduli space of stable bundles over ${X \times \mathbb{G}}$ , where ${\mathbb{G}}$ is the Grassmannian ${\mathbb{G}(n - r, \mathbb{C}^n)}$ . Moreover, we give sufficient conditions for ${M or_{2ns}(\mathbb{P}^1, M(n, \xi))}$ to be non-empty, when s ≥ 1.  相似文献

Let ??(n , d ) be a coprime moduli space of stable vector bundles of rank n ≥ 2 and degree d over a complex irreducible smooth projective curve X of genus g ≥ 2 and ??ξ ? ??(n , d ) a fixed determinant moduli space. Assuming that the degree d is sufficiently large, denote by ?? the vector bundle over X ×??(n , d ) defined by the kernel of the evaluation map H 0(X , E ) → Ex , where E ∈??(n , d ) and xX . We prove that ?? and its restriction ??ξ to X × ??ξ are stable. The space of all infinitesimal deformations of ?? over X ×??(n , d ) is proved to be of dimension 3g and that of ??ξ over X × ??ξ of dimension 2g , assuming that g ≥ 3 and if g = 3 then n ≥ 4 and if g = 4 then n ≥ 3. We define the notion of a hypercube structure on a functor between two commutative Picard categories which generalizes the notion of a cube structure on a Gm-torsor over an abelian scheme. We prove that the determinant functor of a relative scheme X/S of relative dimension n is canonically endowed with a (n+2)-cube structure. We use this result to define the intersection bundle IX/S(L1,…,Ln+1) of n+1 line bundles on X/S and to construct an additive structure on the functor IX/S:PIC(X/S)n+1PIC(S). Then, we construct the resultant of n+1 sections of n+1 line bundles on X, and the discriminant of a section of a line bundle on X. Finally we study the relationship between the cube structures on the determinant functor and on the discriminant functor, and we use it to prove a polarization formula for the discriminant functor.  相似文献

LetX be a compact Riemann surface andM s p (X) the moduli space of stable parabolic vector bundles with fixed rank, degree, rational weights and multiplicities. There is a natural Kähler metric onM s p (X). We obtain a natural metrized holomorphic line bundle onM s p (X) whose Chern form equalsmr times the Kähler form, wherem is the common denominator of the weights andr the rank.  相似文献

We construct a holomorphic Hermitian line bundle over the moduli space of stable triples of the form (E1, E2,?), where E1 and E2 are holomorphic vector bundles over a fixed compact Riemann surfaceX, and?: E2 E1 is a holomorphic vector bundle homomorphism. The curvature of the Chern connection of this holomorphic Hermitian line bundle is computed. The curvature is shown to coincide with a constant scalar multiple of the natural Kähler form on the moduli space. The construction is based on a result of Quillen on the determinant line bundle over the space of Dolbeault operators on a fixed C Hermitian vector bundle over a compact Riemann surface.  相似文献

If π:XB is a non-Kählerian elliptic surface with generic fibreF, the moduli space of stable holomorphic vector bundles with torsion Chern classes onX has an induced fibred structure with base Pico(F) and the moduli space of stable parabolic bundles onB orb as fibre. This is specific to the non-Kähler case.  相似文献

We show that a Banach lattice X is r-convex, 1<r<∞, if and only if all positive operators T on X with values in some r-concave Köthe function spaces F(ν) (over measure spaces (Ω,ν)) factorize strongly through Lr(ν) (i.e., T=MgR, where R is an operator from X to Lr(ν) and Mg a multiplication operator on Lr(ν) with values in F). This characterization of r-convexity motivates a Maurey-Rosenthal type factorization theory for positive operators acting between vector valued Köthe function spaces.  相似文献

Let X   be a smooth projective curve of genus g≥2g2 defined over an algebraically closed field k   of characteristic p>0p>0. For p>r(r−1)(r−2)(g−1)p>r(r1)(r2)(g1) we construct an atlas for the locus of all Frobenius-destabilized bundles of rank r (i.e. we construct all Frobenius-destabilized bundles of rank r and degree zero up to isomorphism). This is done by exhibiting a surjective morphism from a certain Quot-scheme onto the locus of stable Frobenius-destabilized bundles. Further we show that there is a bijective correspondence between the set of stable vector bundles E over X   such that the pull-back F?(E)F?(E) under the Frobenius morphism of X has maximal Harder–Narasimhan polygon and the set of opers having zero p-curvature. We also show that, after fixing the determinant, these sets are finite, which enables us to derive the dimension of certain Quot-schemes and certain loci of stable Frobenius-destabilized vector bundles over X. The finiteness is proved by studying the properties of the Hitchin–Mochizuki morphism; an alternative approach to finiteness has been realized in [3]. In particular we prove a generalization of a result of Mochizuki to higher ranks.  相似文献

For a Riemann surface X and the moduli of regularly stable G-bundles M, there is a naturally occuring “adjoint” vector bundle over X × M. One can take the determinant of this vector bundle with respect to the projection map onto M. Our aim here is to study the curvature of the determinant bundle as the conformal structure on X varies over the Teichmüller space.  相似文献

Let F be a genus g curve and σ:FF a real structure with the maximal possible number of fixed circles. We study the real moduli space N=Fix(σ#) where σ#:NN is the induced real structure on the moduli space N of stable holomorphic bundles of rank 2 over F with fixed non-trivial determinant. In particular, we calculate H?(N,Z) in the case of g=2, generalizing Thaddeus' approach to computing H?(N,Z).  相似文献

We say that an oriented contact manifold (M,ξ) is Milnor fillable if it is contactomorphic to the contact boundary of an isolated complex-analytic singularity (X,x). In this article we prove that any three-dimensional oriented manifold admits at most one Milnor fillable contact structure up to contactomorphism. The proof is based on Milnor open books: we associate an open book decomposition of M with any holomorphic function f:(X,x)→(C,0), with isolated singularity at x and we verify that all these open books carry the contact structure ξ of (M,ξ)—generalizing results of Milnor and Giroux.  相似文献
