高功率宽调谐范围掺Yb3+光子晶体光纤激光器   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用闪耀光栅作为色散元件,构建了前向、后向输出两种结构的可调谐掺Yb3 光子晶体光纤激光器,并对其输出特性进行了分析研究.在抽运功率5.75W时,前向输出结构实现了1050.6~1110.2 nm的连续调谐输出,光谱线宽约0.1 nm,边模抑制比大于44 dB.在调谐激光波长为1085 nm时,得到最高输出功率677 mW.结构改进的后向输出结构的可调谐输出结构在抽运功率4.43 W,调谐波长1075 nm,实现了2.21 W的功率输出,斜率效率为73%;调谐范围50.9 nm(1042.1~1093 nm),光谱线宽小于0.08 nm,边模抑制比大于50 dB.两种结构的可调谐激光器输出均为线偏振光,偏振度大于89.5%.  相似文献

Based on periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN), a mini intracavity optical parameter oscillator (IOPO) driven by an diode-end-pumped composite Nd3+:YAG/Cr4+:YAG laser was demonstrated. The PPLN wafer has 20 domain reversal periods from 27.8 to 31.6 μm with a step of 0.2 μm between the neighbor periods. The output signal laser of OPO can be widely tunable in the range of 1402–1676 nm by changing the period at a certain temperature of 50°C. Under the diode pump power of 14 W, the maximum average output power of 600 mW at 1534 nm with pulse width of 2.0 ns and repetition rate of 16 kHz was obtained, corresponding to a peak power of 18.7 kW and a single pulse energy of 37.5 μJ, respectively.  相似文献

We demonstrate a widely tunable near-infrared source from 767 nm to 874 nm generated by the intracavity second harmonic generation(SHG) in an optical parametric oscillator pumped by a Yb:LYSO solid-state laser. The home-made Yb:LYSO oscillator centered at 1035 nm delivers an average power of 2 W and a pulse duration as short as 351 fs. Two Mg O doped periodically poled lithium niobates(Mg O:PPLN) with grating periods of 28.5–31.5 μm in steps of 0.5 μm and19.5–21.3 μm in steps of 0.2 μm are used for the OPO and intracavity SHG, respectively. The maximum average output power of 180 m W at 798 nm was obtained and the output pulses have pulse duration of 313 fs at 792 nm if a sech2-pulse shape was assumed. In addition, tunable signal femtosecond pulses from 1428 nm to 1763 nm are also realized with the maximum average power of 355 m W at 1628 nm.  相似文献

We report a continuous-wave (CW) yellow laser emission by sum-frequency mixing in two Nd:LuVO4 and Nd:YLF crystals. Using type-I critical phase-matching (CPM) LBO crystal, a yellow laser at 590 nm is obtained by 1066 and 1321 nm intracavity sum-frequency mixing. The maximum laser output power of 223 mW is obtained when an incident pump laser of 18.2 W is used. At the output power level of 223 mW, the output stability is better than 4.5%.  相似文献

Continuous-wave tunable laser operation of direct diode-pumped Cr(4+):Mg(2)SiO(4) (Cr:forsterite) and Cr(4+):Ca(2)GeO(4) (cunyite) crystal were demonstrated. Diode-pumped Cr:forsterite was tunable over the 1236-1300-nm spectral range. The maximum output of 10 mW was measured at 1260 nm for 640 mW of pump power absorbed by the crystal. Diode-pumped laser operation of cunyite was also demonstrated over the 1390-1475-nm range. Free-running 20-mW output was centered at 1410 nm.  相似文献

We report for the first time a continuous-wave (CW) blue laser emission by sum-frequency mixing in Nd:LuVO4 crystal. Using type-I critical phase-matching (CPM) LBO crystal, a blue laser at 493 nm is obtained by 1066 and 916 nm intracavity sum-frequency mixing. The maximum laser output power of 520 mW is obtained when an incident pump laser of 18.2 W is used. At the output power level of 520 mW, the output stability is better than 2.8%. The beam quality M 2 value is are about 1.22 and 1.31 in both horizontal and vertical dimensions respectively.  相似文献

We report room-temperature continuous-wave upconversion laser emission on the green transition (4)S(3/2)?(4)I(15/2) in Er(1%), Yb(3%):YLiF(4) at 551nm. Green laser operation was obtained for titanium-sapphire pump wavelengths continuously tunable between 955 and 974.5nm. Codoping with Yb(3+) resulted in a more efficient excitation of the upper laser level by upconversion processes. The maximum green laser output power was 37mW at an incident titanium-sapphire pump power level of 1580mW at 966nm.  相似文献

We have developed a gain-switched room-temperature Cr:forsterite laser operating at repetition rates of between 1 and 34 kHz, and pumped by a continuous wave, Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. With optimised output coupling, an output pulse energy of 52 μJ was measured at 1.5 kHz repetition rate, corresponding to 11% efficiency and 13% slope efficiency. Threshold pulse energy was 53 μJ. Output power of 370 mW was obtained at 10 kHz repetition rate and 4.4 W pump power. Water cooling was not required for repetition rates up to 10 kHz. In a tunable, folded resonator, the Cr:forsterite wavelength tuned between 1173 and 1338 nm. This laser operated with maximum pulse energy of 34 μJ, efficiency of 13%, and power of 307 mW. 增益介质中泵浦光束提供的软光阑效应对于实现克尔透镜稳定锁模及其超宽带光谱脉冲的产生具有非常重要的作用.实验上首先对半导体泵浦全固化钛宝石飞秒激光器的锁模动态特性进行了研究,在4 W绿光泵浦状态下获得了平均输出功率为570 mW、中心波长在794 nm~835 nm范围内调谐、光谱带宽最大可达135 nm的近红外光脉冲输出,其相应的时域变换极限脉冲宽度均小于10 fs.另外,将光束聚焦在超薄BBO晶体上,获得了中心波长在418 nm~429 nm之间调谐、光谱宽带时域变换极限小于15 fs的蓝光飞秒脉冲.  相似文献

We report on continuous-wave lasing of Yb(3+) at room temperature in the noncentrosymmetric RbTiOPO(4) crystal, codoped with Nb(5+), for all three possible polarizations. A maximum output power of 154 mW at 1050 nm was obtained for an absorbed power of 386 mW. The highest slope efficiency reached approximately 60% and the lowest threshold (with respect to the absorbed power) was 18 mW. The laser was tunable from 1009 to 1081 nm.  相似文献

We report efficient cw laser operation of laser diode pumped Pr(3+)-doped LiYF4 crystals in the visible spectral region. Using two InGaN laser diodes emitting at λ(P)=443.9?nm with maximum output power of 1?W each and a 2.9-mm-long crystal with a doping concentration of 0.5%, output powers of 938?mW, 418?mW, 384?mW, and 773?mW were achieved for the laser wavelengths 639.5?nm, 607.2?nm, 545.9?nm, and 522.6?nm, respectively. The maximum absorbed pump powers were approximately 1.5?W, resulting in slope efficiencies of 63.6%, 32.0%, 52.1%, and 61.5%, as well as electro-optical efficiencies of 9.4%, 4.2%, 3.8%, and 7.7%, respectively. Within these experiments, laser diode-pumped laser action at 545.9?nm was demonstrated for what is believed to be the first time.  相似文献

Continuous-wave Yb3+ laser operation is studied in single crystals of disordered NaLa(MoO4)2 at room temperature. The sample used was grown by the Czochralski technique and incorporates an Yb ion density of 3.1×1020 cm-3. The effect of the Yb concentration on some of the crystal properties is described as well as the spectroscopic Yb3+ properties at 5 K. Maximum slope efficiencies of about 40% for π and 38% for σ polarization were obtained under Ti:sapphire laser pumping near 976 nm, respectively. The maximum output power for the π polarization was 400 mW at 1039.5 nm, the threshold in this case amounted to 240 mW (absorbed pump power). The laser emission was tunable between 1016 and 1064 nm with a Lyot filter. Lasing was also realized by pumping with a fiber-coupled diode laser module. Maximum output power of 900 mW at 1035 nm was achieved in this case for the π polarization and the threshold was 280 mW. The results, in terms of output power and tunability, are superior in comparison to all previous reports on Yb-doped disordered double tungstate or molybdate crystals and represent a significant improvement in comparison to earlier experiments with low-doped Yb:NaLa(MoO4)2.PACS 42.55.Rz; 42.55.Xi; 42.70.Hj  相似文献

We report cw laser emission of a Pr, Yb-doped ZrF(4)-BaF(2)-LaF(3)-AlF(3)-NaF fiber in the red spectral region. Laser emission was achieved on the transition P(0)(3)?F(2)(3)(lambda(L)=635 nm) with a Ti:sapphire pump laser tuned to lambda(p)=850 nm . A maximum output power of P(out)=675 mW was obtained at an incident pump power of P(in)=3.37 W . The output power was increased to P(out)=1020 mW when pumping with P(in)=5.51 W was provided by two Ti:sapphire lasers. A photon avalanche process was found to contribute strongly to the population of the upper laser level.  相似文献

We report on the efficient continuous-wave (CW) dual-wavelength operation of a Nd:LuVO4 laser at 916 and 1343 nm. An output power of 2.15 W for the dual-wavelength was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W. Intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 916 and 1343 nm was then realized in a LBO crystal to reach the yellow-green range. A maximum output power of 523 mW in the yellow-green spectral range at 545 nm has been achieved. The yellow-green output stability is better than 3.5%. The yellow-green beam quality M 2 value are about 1.31 and 1.18 in both horizontal and vertical dimensions, respectively.  相似文献
