Making use of the Carlson-Shaffer convolution operator, we introduce and study a new class of analytic functions related to conic domains. The main object of this paper is to investigat inclusion relations, coefficient bound for this class. We also show that this class is closed under convolution with a convex function. Krust established that all conjugate and associate surfaces of a minimal graph over a convex domain are also graphs. Using a convolution theorem from the theory of harmonic univalent mappings, we generalize Krust's theorem to include the family of convolution surfaces which are generated by taking the Hadamard product or convolution of mappings. Since this convolution involves convex univalent analytic mappings, this family of convolution surfaces is much larger than just the family of associated surfaces. Also, this generalization guarantees that all the resulting surfaces are over close-to-convex domains. In particular, all the associate surfaces and certain Goursat transformation surfaces of a minimal graph over a convex domain are over close-to-convex domains.

In this paper, we define and study some subclasses of analytic functions by using fractional derivative operator. Some interesting properties, coefficients problems and inclusion results of these classes are investigated. In this paper, we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for a sense-preserving harmonic function to be absolutely convex in the open unit disc. We also estimate the coefficient bound and obtain growth, covering and area theorems for absolutely convex harmonic mappings. A natural generalization of the classical Bernardi-type operator for harmonic functions is considered and its connection between certain classes of uniformly starlike harmonic functions and uniformly convex harmonic functions is also investigated. At the end, as applications, we present a number of results connected with hypergeometric and polylogarithm functions.  相似文献

Functions f in the class $ K_H $ are convex, univalent, harmonic, and sense preserving in the unit disk. Such functions can be expressed as $ f = h + \overline {g} $ where h and g are analytic functions. If $ f \in K_H $ has $ h(0) = 0, g(0) = 0, h'(0) = 1$ , and $ g'(0) = 0 $ , then $ f \in K_H^0 $ . For $ f \in K_H^0 $ and } analytic in the unit disk, an integral representation for $ f\tilde {*}\varphi = h*\varphi + \overline {g*\varphi } $ is found. With } a strip mapping, $ f\tilde {*}\varphi $ is shown to be in $ K_H^0 $ . In a 1958 paper, Pólya and Schoenberg conjectured that if f and g are conformal mappings of the unit disk onto convex domains, then the Hadamard product f 2 g of f and g has the same property. It is known that the analogue of that result for harmonic mappings is false. In this paper, some examples are given in which the property of convexity is preserved for Hadamard products of certain convex harmonic mappings. In addition, an integral formula is used to determine the geometry of the Hadamard product from the geometry of the factors. This is true in particular for the convolution of strip mappings with certain functions $ f_n \in K_H^0 $ which take the unit disk to regular n -gons.  相似文献

In this work we present some new results on convolution and subordination in geometric function theory. We prove that the class of convex functions of order α is closed under convolution with a prestarlike function of the same order. Using this, we prove that subordination under the convex function order α is preserved under convolution with a prestarlike function of the same order. Moreover, we find a subordinating factor sequence for the class of convex functions. The work deals with several ideas and techniques used in geometric function theory, contained in the book Convolutions in Geometric Function Theory by Ruscheweyh (1982).  相似文献

In this paper several types of perturbations on a convex inequality system are considered, and conditions are obtained for the system to be well-conditioned under these types of perturbations, where the well-conditionedness of a convex inequality system is defined in terms of the uniform boundedness of condition numbers under a set of perturbations. It is shown that certain types of perturbations can be used to characterize the well-conditionedness of a convex inequality system, in which either the system has a bounded solution set and satisfies the Slater condition or an associated convex inequality system, which defines the recession cone of the solution set for the system, satisfies the Slater condition. Finally, sufficient conditions are given for the existence of a global error bound for an analytic system. It is shown that such a global error bound always holds for any inequality system defined by finitely many convex analytic functions when the zero vector is in the relative interior of the domain of an associated convex conjugate function.  相似文献

Two new subclasses of harmonic univalent functions defined by convolution are introduced. The subclasses generate a number of known subclasses of harmonic mappings, and thus provide a unified treatment in the study of these subclasses. Sufficient coefficient conditions are obtained that are shown to be also necessary when the analytic parts of the harmonic functions have negative coefficients. In this article, we firstly discuss a kind of Phragemén‐Lindelöf Principle of harmonic functions by using the Nevanlinna's representation in the high dimensional space. Secondly, we derive the sufficient conditions for subharmonic functions being in the Nevanlinna class as well. Locally convex convolutor spaces are studied which consist of those distributions that define a continuous convolution operator mapping from the space of test functions into a given locally convex lattice of measures. The convolutor spaces are endowed with the topology of uniform convergence on bounded sets. Their locally convex structure is characterized via regularization and function-valued seminorms under mild structural assumptions on the space of measures. Many recent generalizations of classical distribution spaces turn out to be special cases of the general convolutor spaces introduced here. Recent topological characterizations of convolutor spaces via regularization are extended and improved. A valuable property of the convolutor spaces in applications is that convolution of distributions inherits continuity properties from those of bilinear convolution mappings between the locally convex lattices of measures.  相似文献

In the present investigation, the Mittag-Leffler functions with their normalization are considered. Several sufficient conditions are obtained so that the Mittag-Leffler functions have certain geometric properties including univalency, starlikeness, convexity and close-to-convexity in the open unit disk. Partial sums of Mittag-Leffler functions are also studied. The results obtained are new and their usefulness is depicted by deducing several interesting corollaries and examples.  相似文献

Aratio of affine functions is a function which can be expressed as the ratio of a vector valued affine function and a scalar affine functional. The purpose of this note is to examine properties of sets which are preserved under images and inverse images of such functions. Specifically, we show that images and inverse images of convex sets under such functions are convex sets. Also, images of bounded, convex polytopes under such functions are bounded, convex polytopes. In addition, we provide sufficient conditions under which the extreme points of images of convex sets are images of extreme points of the underlying domains. Of course, this result is useful when one wishes to maximize a convex function over a corresponding set. The above assertions are well known for affine functions. Applications of the results include a problem that concerns the control of stochastic eigenvectors of stochastic matrices.  相似文献
