Asymptotic behaviors of zero modes of the massless Dirac operator H = α · D + Q(x) are discussed, where α = (α1, α2, α3) is the triple of 4 × 4 Dirac matrices, , and Q(x) = (q

(x)) is a 4 × 4 Hermitian matrix-valued function with | q

(x) | ≤ C 〈x〉−ρ, ρ > 1. We shall show that for every zero mode f, the asymptotic limit of |x|2
f (x) as |x| → + ∞ exists. The limit is expressed in terms of the Dirac matrices and an integral of Q(x) f (x).

According to the characterization of local thermal equilibrium states in Local Quantum Physics proposed by Buchholz et al. microscopic and corresponding macroscopic observables are computed for the model of massless, free fermions on Minkowski space. An example for a local equilibrium state describing a hot bang is given, the main step being the proof of its positivity. 相似文献

The Casimir effect has been studied for various quantum fields in both flat and curved spacetimes. As a further step along this line, we provide an explicit derivation of Casimir effect for massless spin-3/2 field with periodic boundary condition imposed in four-dimensional Minkowski spacetime. The corresponding results with Dirichlet ard Neumann boundary conditions are also discussed. 相似文献

We consider the ground state energy of a massive scalar field in the space-time of a thick cosmic string in the 2+1 dimensional case for arbitrary angle deficit by using the zeta-function approach. Final numerical calculations were made in the massless case, only. We show that the zero point energy is negative, and for small angle deficit it is proportional to the fourth degree of the deficit. 相似文献

We have theoretically analyzed the quasibound states in a Mraphene quantum dot (GO, D) with a magnetic flux -φ in the centre. It is shown that the two-fold time reversal degeneracy is broken and the quasibound states of GQD with positive~negative angular momentum shifted upwards/downwards with increasing the magnetic flux. The variation of the quasibound energy depends linearly on the magnetic flux, which is quite different from the parabolic relationship for SchrSdinger electrons. The GQD's quasibound states spectrum shows an obvious Aharonov-Bohm (AB) oscillations with the magnetic flux. It is also shown that the quasibound state with energy equal to the barrier height becomes a bound state completely confined in GQD. 相似文献

A new method of calculating the amplitudes of processes involving massless fermions with a spin of 1/2 is suggested in the present paper. The method is based on the use of the isotropic tetrad in Minkowski space and the basic spinors related to it. As an illustration, the amplitudes of the electron-positron annihilation into a fermion pair and the collisions of two -quanta and their transformation into an electron-positron pair are obtained. 相似文献

We have attempted to identify the circumstances under which a weakly coupled massive gauge theory such as the standard Glashow-Salam-Weinberg model, can emerge as a low energy effective Lagrangian of an ASF preon gauge theory. This involves many issues including the interplay between global and local symmetries and sum rules connecting long and short distance physics. The article puts together these issues and demonstrates that ASF preon models can be very tight and predictive frameworks. We make a systematic search of a minimal extension of the standard electro-weak theory, which could emerge as a low energy effective Lagrangian of an ASF preon gauge theory, in which the left-right symmetry is spontaneously broken by vacuum condensation. 相似文献

The aim of the present paper is to investigate the minimally coupled rotationally symmetric scalar field configurations in spatially closed Friedman-Robertson-Walker Universe with incoherent dust. We have got the closed form solution of the Klein-Gordon equation in terms of two real-valued linearly independent hypergeometric functions. The orthonormal set of positive-frequency-like parity modes thereafter derived points out that each parity given state is conformally built up of three Einsteinian particle states and also leads to the explicit coordinate-representation of the field propagator. 相似文献

In this article, we shall obtain the boundary state associated with a moving Dp-brane in the presence of the Kalb–Ramond field B μν , an internal U(1) gauge field A α and a tachyon field, in the compact spacetime. According to this state, properties of the brane and a closed string, with mixed boundary conditions emitted from it, will be obtained. Using this boundary state, we calculate the interaction amplitude of two moving Dp 1 and Dp 2-branes with above background fields in a partially compact spacetime. They are parallel or perpendicular to each other. Properties of the interaction amplitude will be analyzed, and contribution of the massless states to the interaction will be extracted. 相似文献

In this paper, utilizing Møller’s energy-momentum complex, we explicitly evaluate the energy and momentum density associated with a metric describing a four-dimensional, Schwarzschild-like, spacetime derived from an effective gravity coupled with a U(1) gauge field in the context of a D3-brane dynamics in the classical regime, i.e., between the asymptotic and the Planck regime. 相似文献

The energy (due to matter and fields including gravitation) of the Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime is investigated by using the Møller energy-momentum definition in both general relativity and teleparallel gravity. We found the same energy distribution for a given metric in both of these different gravitation theories. It is also independent of the teleparallel dimensionless coupling constant, which means that it is valid in any teleparallel model. Our results sustain that (a) the importance of the energy-momentum definitions in the evaluation of the energy distribution of a given spacetime and (b) the viewpoint of Lessner that the Møller energy-momentum complex is a powerfifi concept of energy and momentum. 相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to investigate energy bounds in the context of f(R,G) gravity. To meet this aim, we choose static spherically symmetric spacetime in f(R,G) gravity to develop the field equations. We select three different models of f(R,G) gravity, which are thoroughly discussed in the literature. Firstly, the inequalities are formulated using energy bounds and then viability of the considered models are checked respectively. Graphical analysis show that specific f(R,G) gravity models are satisfied under suitable values of model parameters. It is shown that in a certain case energy bounds are satisfied expect SEC, which supports the late time acceleration expansion of unverse. 相似文献

The study of the energy localization in f(R) theories of gravity has attracted much interest in recent years. In this paper, the vacuum solutions of the modified field equations for a power model of plane symmetric metric are studied in metric f(R) gravity with the assumption of constant Ricci scalar. Next, we determine the energy-momentum complexes in f(R) theories of gravity for this spacetime for some important models. We also show that these models satisfy the stability and constant curvature conditions. 相似文献

We study the energy conditions of a relativistic λΦ4 self-interact& charged boson condensate coupled to degenerate fermions. It is found that strong energy condition will be violated within certain range of the mass parameters and the coupling constants in the model. 相似文献
