This paper presents a definition of L-fuzzifying nets and the related L-fuzzifying generalized convergence spaces. The Moore-Smith convergence is established in L-fuzzifying topology. It is shown that the category of L-fuzzifying generalized convergence spaces is a cartesianclosed topological category which embeds the category of L-fuzzifying topological spaces as a reflective subcategory.  相似文献

It is shown that the forgetful functor from the category of contiguity spaces to the category of generalized proximity spaces is topological, and that the right adjoint right inverse of this functor extends the inverse of the forgetful functor from the category of totally bounded uniform spaces to the category of proximity spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we generalize our work on Gelfand dualities in cartesian closed topological categories [42] to categories which are only monoidally closed. Using heavily enriched category theory we show that under very mild conditions on the base category function algebra functor and spectral space functor exist, forming a pair of adjoint functors and establishing a duality between function algebras and spectral spaces. Using recent results in connection with semitopological functors, we show that every (E,M)-topological category is endowed with at least oneconvenient monoidal structure admitting a generalized Gelfand duality. So it turns out that there is no need for a cartesian closed structure on a topological category in order to study generalized Gelfand-Naimark dualities.  相似文献

Based on a refinement of the notion of internal sets in Colombeau's theory, so-called strongly internal sets, we introduce the space of generalized smooth functions, a maximal extension of Colombeau generalized functions. Generalized smooth functions as morphisms between sets of generalized points form a sub-category of the category of topological spaces. In particular, they can be composed unrestrictedly.  相似文献

Different generalizations of topological Baire spaces to the case of generalized topological spaces are considered and the properties of such spaces are examined. In particular, these considerations are focused on the relationship between Baire generalized topological spaces and semi-continuous real functions and infinite games. Generalized Esakia spaces are the topological duals of bounded implicative semilattices in the duality studied by G. Bezhanishvili and R. Jansana. We study the relation between a Hilbert algebra and the generalized Esakia space dual to its free implicative semilattice extension. To establish the relation we introduce a category whose objects are a generalized Esakia space together with a family of clopen up-sets that constitutes a subalgebra of the implication fragment of the Heyting algebra of the up-sets of the generalized Esakia space.  相似文献

Using Escardó’s characterization of injectivity via Kock–Zöberlein monads, we introduce suitable monads in comma categories of topological spaces that yield characterizations of fibrewise injectivity in topological T0-spaces, with respect to the class of embeddings, and of dense, of flat and of completely flat embeddings. Characterizations, in the category of topological spaces, of injective maps with respect to the same classes of embeddings follow easily from the results obtained for T0-spaces. Moreover, it is shown that, together with the corresponding embeddings, injective continuous maps form a weak factorization system in the category of topological (T0-)spaces and continuous maps.  相似文献

We develop a generalized covering space theory for a class of uniform spaces called coverable spaces. Coverable spaces include all geodesic metric spaces, connected and locally pathwise connected compact topological spaces, in particular Peano continua, as well as more pathological spaces like the topologist's sine curve. The uniform universal cover of a coverable space is a kind of generalized cover with universal and lifting properties in the category of uniform spaces and uniformly continuous mappings. Associated with the uniform universal cover is a functorial uniform space invariant called the deck group, which is related to the classical fundamental group by a natural homomorphism. We obtain some specific results for one-dimensional spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct a topological category of pretopological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces, which contains the category of topological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces as a bireflective full subcategory. Considering the connections with L-fuzzy topology, it is proved that the category of topological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces is isomorphic to the category of topological L-fuzzy quasi-coincident neighborhood spaces, and the latter is isomorphic to the category of L-fuzzy topological spaces. Moreover, we find that our pretopological L-fuzzy Q-convergence spaces can be characterized as a kind of L-fuzzy quasi-coincident neighborhood spaces, which is called strong L-fuzzy quasi-coincident neighborhood space.  相似文献

Many examples of compact fuzzy topological spaces which are highly non topological are known [5, 6]. Equally many examples of Hausdorff fuzzy topological spaces which are highly non topological can be given. In this paper we show that the two properties - compact and Hausdorff - combined however necessarily imply that the fuzzy topological space is topological. This at once solves some open questions with regard to the compactification of fuzzy topological spaces [8]. It also emphasizes once more the particular role played by compact Hausdorff topological spaces not only in the category of topological spaces but even in the category of fuzzy topological spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we consider topological spaces as generalised orders and characterise those spaces which satisfy a (suitably defined) topological distributive law. The sectional category of a subgroup inclusion H?G can be defined as the sectional category of the corresponding map between Eilenberg–MacLane spaces. We extend a characterization of topological complexity of aspherical spaces given by Farber, Grant, Lupton and Oprea to the context of sectional category of subgroup inclusions and investigate it by means of Adamson cohomology theory.  相似文献
