The evolution of a pure coherent state into a chaotic state is described very well by a master equation, as is validated via an examination of the coherent state's evolution during the diffusion process, fully utilizing the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators. The same equation also describes a limitation that maintains the coherence in a weak diffusion process, i.e., when the dissipation is very weak and the initial average photon number is large. This equation is dp/dt = -κ[a+ap -a+pa -apa+ + paa+]. The physical difference between this diffusion equation and the better-known amplitude damping master equation is pointed out. 相似文献

The spheroidal wave functions are found to have extensive applications in many branches of physics and mathematics. We use the perturbation method in supersymmetric quantum mechanics to obtain the analytic ground eigenvalue and the ground eigenfunction of the angular spheroidal wave equation at low frequency in a series form. Using this approach, the numerical determinations of the ground eigenvalue and the ground eigenfunction for small complex frequencies are also obtained. 相似文献

Based on the Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen (EPR) entangled
state representation, this paper introduces the wave function for
the squeezed atomic coherent state (SACS), which turns out to be
just proportional to a single-variable ordinary Hermite polynomial
of order 2j. As important applications of the wave function,
the Wigner function of the SACS and its marginal distribution are
obtained and the eigenproblems of some Hamiltonians for the

The strength and equation of state of molybdenum triboride have been determined under nonhydrostatic compression up to 80?GPa, using an angle-dispersive radial X-ray diffraction technique in a diamond anvil cell (DAC). The RXD data yield a bulk modulus and its pressure derivative as K0?=?342(6)?GPa with K0′?=?2.11(17) at ψ?=?54.7°. Analysis of diffraction data using the strain theory indicates that the ratio of differential stress to shear modulus (t/G) ranges from 0.002 to 0.050 at pressures of 4–80?GPa. Together with theoretical results on the high pressure shear modulus, our results here show that molybdenum triboride sample under uniaxial compression can support a differential stress of ~10?GPa when it started to yield with plastic deformation at ~30?GPa. In addition, we draw a conclusion that MoB3 is not a superhard material but a hard material. 相似文献

A universal cubic equation of state (UC EOS) is proposed based on a modification of the virial Percus-Yevick (PY) integral equation EOS for hard-sphere fluid. The UC EOS is extended to multi-component hard-sphere mixtures based on a modification of Lebowitz solution of PY equation for hard-sphere mixtures. And expressions of the radial distribution functions at contact (RDFC) are improved with the form as simple as the original one. The numerical results for the compressibility factor and RDFC are in good agreement with the simulation results. The average errors of the compressibility factor relative to MC data are 3.40%, 1.84% and 0.92% for CP3P, BMCSL equations and UC EOS, respectively. The UC EOS is a unique cubic one with satisfactory precision among many EOSs in the literature both for pure and mixture fluids of hard spheres. 相似文献
