We characterize complex measures on the unit disk for which the Toeplitz operator , is bounded or compact on the Bloch type spaces .

     

Toeplitz operators on Bergman spaces

Let ? be an element in \(H^\infty (D) + C(\overline D )\) such that ?^* is locally sectorial. In this paper it is shown that the Toeplitz operator defined on the Bergman spaceA ² (D) is Fredholm. Also, it is proved that ifS is an operator onA ²(D) which commutes with the Toeplitz operatorT _? whose symbol ? is a finite Blaschke product, thenS H ^∞ (D) is contained inH ^∞ (D). Moreover, some spectral properties of Toeplitz operators are discussed, and it is shown that the spectrum of a class of Toeplitz operators defined on the Bergman spaceA ² (D), is not connected.     

Toeplitz operators on Dirichlet spaces

In this paper we consider Toeplitz operators on Dirichlet spaces of the unit disk in whose symbols are nonnegative measures. We obtain necessry and sufficient conditions on the symbols for the operator to be bounded and compact. If the symbols are supported in a cone we also get necessary and sufficient conditions for the operators to belong to the Schatten p-class. Toeplitz operators on harmonic Bergman spaces

We study Toeplitz operators on the harmonic Bergman spaceb ^p (B), whereB is the open unit ball inR ⁿ(n2), for 1<p. We give characterizations for the Toeplitz operators with positive symbols to be bounded, compact, and in Schatten classes. We also obtain a compactness criteria for the Toeplitz operators with continuous symbols.     

Hankel and Toeplitz operators in hardy spaces

In this paper one considers some general theorems of the theory of Hankel and Toeplitz operators in spaces of analytic functions. Under natural restrictions on the spaces X, it is shown that the symbols of the Toeplitz operators, acting in X, are bounded. Toeplitz operators on weighted Bergman spaces

In [2], Axler, Conway and McDonald, discuss the essential spectrum of Toeplitz operator, with continuous symbol, on the unweighted Bergman space. This paper extends their results to the weighted Bergman space, where the weight and its logarithm are assumed to be locally integrable.This paper represents part of the author's Ph.D. thesis, written at Indiana University under the direction of Professor John B. Conway.     

Toeplitz operators on generalised H2 spaces

Some aspects are developed of the theory of Toeplitz operators on generalised HardyH ² spaces associated to function algebras. It is shown that a substantial number of results of the classical theory of Toeplitz operators on the circle extend to this situation, although counterexamples are given which show that there are also important differences. Spectral connectedness results are obtained, and a characterisation of invertibility for Toeplitz operators. The Fredholm theory is also studied.     

Hankel and Toeplitz operators on Dirichlet spaces

In this paper we study Hankel and Toeplitz operators on Dirichlet type spaces D. We obtain necessary and sufficient condition on the symbols for these operators to be bounded and to belong to the Schatten ideal S^p for certain and p.     

Toeplitz operators with symbols from in the spaces

It is shown that the algebra of the multipliers of the space ^p (1<<) contains the closed subalgebra C_p+H _p , which coincides with the Douglas algebra C + H for =2. Toeplitz operators on weighted Hardy and Besov spaces

We obtain estimates of the norm of Toeplitz operators on weighted Hardy and Besov spaces. As an application we give characterizations of some spaces of pointwise multipliers.     

Schatten class Toeplitz operators on generalized Fock spaces

In this paper we characterize the Schatten p   class membership of Toeplitz operators with positive measure symbols acting on generalized Fock spaces for the full range 0<p<∞$0<p<\infty$.     

Positive Toeplitz operators between the pluriharmonic Bergman spaces

We study Toeplitz operators between the pluriharmonic Bergman spaces for positive symbols on the ball. We give characterizations of bounded and compact Toeplitz operators taking a pluriharmonic Bergman space b ^p into another b ^q for 1 < p, q < ∞ in terms of certain Carleson and vanishing Carleson measures. Isomorphism properties of Toeplitz operators and pseudo-differential operators between modulation spaces

We investigate the lifting property of modulation spaces and construct explicit isomorphisms between them. For each weight function ?? and suitable window function ??, the Toeplitz operator (or localization operator) Tp _?? (??) is an isomorphism from $M_{({\omega _0})}^{p,q}$ , onto $M_{({\omega _0}/\omega )}^{p,q}$ for every p, q ?? [1,??] and arbitrary weight function ?? ₀. The methods involve the pseudo-differential calculus of Bony and Chemin and the Wiener algebra property of certain symbol classes of pseudo-differential Operators.     

Toeplitz operators on weightedl p spaces and associated asymptotics

Asymptotic information is found in this paper for finite Toeplitz matrices generated by a piecewise continuous function. The eigenvalues for certain finite matrices are shown to lie near the range of the generating function. An asymptotic formula for f( _i ) where _i are the eigenvalues is also given. The basic technique of the paper is to get the above type of asymptotic information by studying the ordinary Toeplitz operators on weightedl _p spaces.     

Toeplitz operators on Fock-Sobolev spaces with positive measure symbols

We discuss Toeplitz operators on Fock-Sobolev space with positive measure symbols.By FockCarleson measure,we obtain the characterizations for boundedness and compactness of Toeplitz operators.We also give some equivalent conditions of Schatten p-class properties of Toeplitz operators by Berezin transform.     

Schatten-Herz type positive Toeplitz operators on pluriharmonic Bergman spaces

Recently, Schatten-Herz type Toeplitz operators have been studied on the Bergman spaces and the harmonic Bergman spaces. Motivated these results, we study characterizations of positive Toeplitz operators of Schatten-Herz type in terms of averaging functions and Berezin transforms of symbol functions on the ball of pluriharmonic Bergman spaces.     

Similarity of analytic Toeplitz operators on the Bergman spaces

In this paper we give a function theoretic similarity classification for Toeplitz operators on weighted Bergman spaces with symbol analytic on the closure of the unit disk.
