Let ? be an element in \(H^\infty (D) + C(\overline D )\) such that ?* is locally sectorial. In this paper it is shown that the Toeplitz operator defined on the Bergman spaceA 2 (D) is Fredholm. Also, it is proved that ifS is an operator onA 2(D) which commutes with the Toeplitz operatorT ? whose symbol ? is a finite Blaschke product, thenS H (D) is contained inH (D). Moreover, some spectral properties of Toeplitz operators are discussed, and it is shown that the spectrum of a class of Toeplitz operators defined on the Bergman spaceA 2 (D), is not connected.  相似文献

In this paper we consider Toeplitz operators on Dirichlet spaces of the unit disk in whose symbols are nonnegative measures. We obtain necessry and sufficient conditions on the symbols for the operator to be bounded and compact. If the symbols are supported in a cone we also get necessary and sufficient conditions for the operators to belong to the Schatten p-class. We study Toeplitz operators on the harmonic Bergman spaceb p (B), whereB is the open unit ball inR n(n2), for 1<p. We give characterizations for the Toeplitz operators with positive symbols to be bounded, compact, and in Schatten classes. Some aspects are developed of the theory of Toeplitz operators on generalised HardyH 2 spaces associated to function algebras. It is shown that a substantial number of results of the classical theory of Toeplitz operators on the circle extend to this situation, although counterexamples are given which show that there are also important differences. Spectral connectedness results are obtained, and a characterisation of invertibility for Toeplitz operators. The Fredholm theory is also studied.  相似文献

It is shown that the algebra of the multipliers of the space p (1<<) contains the closed subalgebra Cp+H p , which coincides with the Douglas algebra C + H for =2. We investigate the lifting property of modulation spaces and construct explicit isomorphisms between them. For each weight function ?? and suitable window function ??, the Toeplitz operator (or localization operator) Tp ?? (??) is an isomorphism from $M_{({\omega _0})}^{p,q}$ , onto $M_{({\omega _0}/\omega )}^{p,q}$ for every p, q ?? [1,??] and arbitrary weight function ?? 0. Asymptotic information is found in this paper for finite Toeplitz matrices generated by a piecewise continuous function. The eigenvalues for certain finite matrices are shown to lie near the range of the generating function. An asymptotic formula for f( i ) where i are the eigenvalues is also given. The basic technique of the paper is to get the above type of asymptotic information by studying the ordinary Toeplitz operators on weightedl p spaces.  相似文献
