Lattices , are similar if one can be transformed into the other by an angle-preserving linear map. Similarity classes of lattices of rankn may be parametrized by a fundamental domain of the action ofGL n () on the generalized upper half-plane n . This article explores L structures on 3-dimensional vector spaces with both ?- and ?2-gradings. Since ?-graded L algebras are special cases of ?2-graded algebras in the induced ?2-grading, there are generally fewer ?-graded L structures on a given space. However, degree zero automorphisms (rather than even automorphisms) determine equivalence in a ?-graded space. We therefore find nontrivial examples in which the map from the ?-graded moduli space to the ?2-graded moduli space is bijective, injective but not surjective, or surjective but not injective. Additionally, we study how the codifferentials in the moduli spaces deform into other nonequivalent codifferentials.  相似文献

An irreducible algebraic ℤ d -actionα on a compact abelian group X is a ℤ d -action by automorphisms of X such that every closed, α-invariant subgroup YX is finite. We prove the following result: if d≥2, then every measurable conjugacy between irreducible and mixing algebraic ℤ d -actions on compact zero-dimensional abelian groups is affine. For irreducible, expansive and mixing algebraic ℤ d -actions on compact connected abelian groups the analogous statement follows essentially from a result by Katok and Spatzier on invariant measures of such actions (cf. [4] and [3]). By combining these two theorems one obtains isomorphism rigidity of all irreducible, expansive and mixing algebraic ℤ d -actions with d≥2. Let E be the infinite-dimensional Grassmann algebra over a field F of characteristic zero, and consider L the F-vector space spanned by all generators of E. Let ? l be any fixed automorphism of E of order 2 such that L is an homogeneous subspace.

Our goal is to finish the computation of the sequences of ? l -codimensions, by finding its exact value for the unique open case, that is, when the subspace of L corresponding to the eigenvalue 1 is finite-dimensional. In this paper we classifyℤ-graded transitive Lie superalgebras with prescribed nonpositive parts listed in [K2]. The classification of infinite-dimensional simple linearly compact Lie superalgebras given in [K2] is based on this result. We also study the structure of the exceptionalℤ-graded transitive Lie superalgebras and give their geometric realization. In this paper,a definition of entropy for Z+k(k≥2)-actions due to Friedland is studied.Unlike the traditional definition,it may take a nonzero value for actions whose generators have finite(even zero) entropy as single transformations.Some basic properties are investigated and its value for the Z+k-actions on circles generated by expanding endomorphisms is given.Moreover,an upper bound of this entropy for the Z+k-actions on tori generated by expanding endomorphisms is obtained via the preimage entropies,which are entropy-like invariants depending on the "inverse orbits" structure of the system.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a pseudo-random method to construct extremal Type II codes overℤ4 . As an application, we give a number of new extremal Type II codes of lengths 24, 32 and 40, constructed from some extremal doubly-even self-dual binary codes. The extremal Type II codes of length 24 have the property that the supports of the codewords of Hamming weight 10 form 5−(24,10,36) designs. It is also shown that every extremal doubly-even self-dual binary code of length 32 can be considered as the residual code of an extremal Type II code over ℤ4.  相似文献

By using quantum vertex operators we study the invariance of the rank n free-fermion vertex algebra under the action of the group ?∕2? and obtain its minimal generating set. When n = 1, it is well known that this subalgebra is isomorphic to the Virasoro vertex algebra with central charge 1∕2. In the n = 2 case we show that invariant subalgebra is isomorphic to a simple quotient of a certain W-algebra, which we explicitly construct. For n≥3, our approach leads to a rediscovery of the spinor representation of the a?ne vertex algebra associated to the Lie algebra 𝔰𝔬(n) of I. Frenkel.  相似文献

Abstract

Let L be a positive definite even lattice and let g ∈ Aut L be a fixed point free automorphism of order 3. We determine the twisted Zhu's algebra A ? (V L ) for the lattice vertex operator algebra V L , where ? is an automorphism of V L induced from g. As a result, we show that the set of all irreducible ?-twisted modules for V L (up to isomorphism) are exactly those constructed by Dong and Lepowsky (1996 Dong, C. and Lepowsky, J. 1996. We first study the d th levels of the finite prime fields ? p . These are the numbers
where p≠ 2 is a prime number, d≥ 2 is an even rational integer and d|p− 1 without loss of generality. Our main result establishes that s d (? p ) is the minimal k for which , where α i , 1≤id, are the coefficients of the Gauss period equation of degree d associated to p. Similarly, the d th levels of the rings of integers mod p l , p≥ 3, l≥ 1 are characterized while s d (Z/ 2 l Z), l≥ 1, is found in an elementary way. Given a polynomial f ∈ ?[X] such that f(?) ? ?, we investigate whether the set f(?) can be parametrized by a multivariate polynomial with integer coefficients, that is, the existence of g ∈ ?[X 1,…, X m ] such that f(?) = g(? m ). We offer a necessary and sufficient condition on f for this to be possible. In particular, it turns out that some power of 2 is a common denominator of the coefficients of f, and there exists a rational β with odd numerator and odd prime-power denominator such that f(X) = f(β ?X). Moreover, if f(?) is likewise parametrizable, then this can be done by a polynomial in one or two variables.  相似文献

LetB n be the unit ball of ℂn and ℤ ≅ Γ ⊂ AutB n be generated by a parabolic element of AutB n. We show that the quotientB n/Γ is biholomorphic to a holomorphically convex domain of ℂn, whose automorphism group is explicity described. It follows thatB n/ℤ is Stein for any free action of ℤ.
