We introduce the notion of partial uniform boundedness of solutions with partially controlled initial conditions in the general case, that is, the case in which the part of variables with respect to which the boundedness of solutions is studied is a subset of the part of variables with respect to which the initial conditions are controlled. We obtain a criterion for the partial uniform boundedness of solutions with partly controlled initial conditions. We introduce the notion of partial total boundedness of solutions with partly controlled initial conditions. We obtain a sufficient condition for the partial total boundedness of solutions with partly controlled initial conditions.  相似文献

We introduce the notions of Poisson total boundedness of solutions, partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions, and partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions with partly controlled initial conditions. We use the Lyapunov vector function method to obtain sufficient conditions for the Poisson total boundedness of solutions, the partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions, and the partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions with partly controlled initial conditions. As a consequence, we obtain sufficient conditions for the above-mentioned kinds of Poisson total boundedness of solutions based on the Lyapunov function method.

We show that conditions ensuring the existence of strong and weak solutions of stochastic differential equations with standard and fractional Brownian motions guarantee the continuous dependence of these solutions on the initial conditions and right-hand sides. We study the existence of positive solutions of a nonlinear eigenvalue problem for a two-point boundary-value problem for a family of second-order disfocal ordinary differential equations. We use the nonlinear capacity method to prove the blow-up of solutions of initial-boundary value problems of hydrodynamic type in bounded domains. We present sufficient boundary conditions ensuring the blow-up of the solution of an equation that is globally solvable under the classical boundary conditions. We estimate the blow-up time of solutions under given initial conditions. Note that it is the first result concerning blow-up for one of the problems considered.  相似文献

We consider the stability of isotropic solutions for two-field models in the Bianchi I metric. We prove that the sufficient conditions for Lyapunov stability in the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker metric ensure the stability under anisotropic perturbations in the Bianchi I metric and also under perturbations of the energy density for cold dark matter. We find sufficient conditions for the Lyapunov stability of isotropic fixed points for the system of Einstein equations. We use the superpotential method to construct stable kink-type solutions and obtain sufficient conditions on the superpotential for the Lyapunov stability of the corresponding exact solutions. We analyze the stability of isotropic kink-type solutions for models related to string field theory.  相似文献

We give conditions on the coefficient matrix for certain perturbed linear dynamic equations on time scales ensuring that there exists a bounded solution (which is explicitly given) to which all other solutions converge, and similarly conditions ensuring a bounded solution from which all other solutions diverge. We study convergence in variation of probability solutions of nonlinear Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equations to stationary solutions. We obtain sufficient conditions for the exponential convergence of solutions to the stationary solution in case of coefficients that can have an arbitrary growth at infinity and depend on the solutions through convolutions with unbounded discontinuous kernels. In addition, we study a more difficult case where the nonlinear equation has several stationary solutions and convergence to a stationary solution depends on initial data. We consider a family of integral equations used as models of some living systems. We prove that an integral equation is reducible to the equivalent Cauchy problem for a non-autonomous differential equation with point or distributed delay dependently on the choice of the survival function of system elements. We also study the issues of the existence, uniqueness, nonnegativity, and continuability of solutions. We describe all stationary solutions and obtain sufficient conditions for their asymptotic stability. We have found sufficient conditions for the existence of a limit of solutions on infinity and present an example of equations where the rate of generation of elements of living systems is described by a unimodal function (namely, the Hill function).  相似文献

We investigate solutions to superlinear or sublinear operator equations and obtain some abstract existence results by minimax methods. These results apply to superlinear or sublinear Hamiltonian systems satisfying several boundary value conditions including Sturm-Liouville boundary value conditions and generalized periodic boundary value conditions, and yield some new theorems concerning existence of solutions or nontrivial solutions. In particular, some famous results about periodic solutions to superlinear or sublinear Hamiltonian systems by Rabinowitz or Benci and Rabinowitz are special cases of the theorems.  相似文献

We study stochastic equations of non-negative processes with jumps. The existence and uniqueness of strong solutions are established under Lipschitz and non-Lipschitz conditions. Under suitable conditions, the comparison properties of solutions are proved. Summary. We investigate global equilibria of twisted, isotropic elastic rings. The high degree of symmetry in the problem leads to nonisolated solutions. We prove that all solutions are flip-symmetric, and from this we can globally isolate all solution branches. We consider semilinear second-order parabolic equations whose principal parts may have either divergence or nondivergence form and whose nonlinear terms satisfy conditions of Bernstein-Dini type.
