Conditions for the solvability of lacunary trigonometric interpolation have been given by Cavaretta, Sharma, and Varga. When these conditions are satisfied, linear operators are defined on the space of continuous periodic functions. Abstract Let A be the mod p Steenrod algebra and S the sphere spectrum localized at p, where p is an odd prime. In 2001 Lin detected a new family in the stable homotopy of spheres which is represented by (b0hn-h1bn-1)∈ ExtA^3,(p^n+p)q(Zp,Zp) in the Adams spectral sequence. At the same time, he proved that i.(hlhn) ∈ExtA^2,(p^n+P)q(H^*M, Zp) is a permanent cycle in the Adams spectral sequence and converges to a nontrivial element ξn∈π(p^n+p)q-2M. In this paper, with Lin's results, we make use of the Adams spectral sequence and the May spectral sequence to detect a new nontrivial family of homotopy elements jj′j^-γsi^-i′ξn in the stable homotopy groups of spheres. The new one is of degree p^nq + sp^2q + spq + (s - 2)q + s - 6 and is represented up to a nonzero scalar by hlhnγ-s in the E2^s+2,*-term of the Adams spectral sequence, where p ≥ 7, q = 2(p - 1), n ≥ 4 and 3 ≤ s 〈 p.  相似文献

We study the rank-one convex hull of compact sets . We show that if K contains no two matrices whose difference has rank one, and if K contains no four matrices forming a T 4 configuration, then the rank-one convex hull K rc is equal to K. Furthermore, we give a simple numerical criterion for testing for T 4 configurations. The restriction of a Verma module of ${\bf U}(\mathfrak{sl}_3)$ to ${\bf U}(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ is isomorphic to a Verma module tensoring with all the finite dimensional simple modules of ${\bf U}(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ . The canonical basis of the Verma module is compatible with such a decomposition. An explicit decomposition of the tensor product of the Verma module of highest weight 0 with a finite dimensional simple module into indecomposable projective modules in the category $\mathcal O_{\rm{int}}$ of quantum $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ is given.  相似文献

We study the structure of cyclic DNA codes of odd length over the finite commutative ring \(R=\mathbb {F}_2+u\mathbb {F}_2+v\mathbb {F}_2+uv\mathbb {F}_2 + v^2\mathbb {F}_2+uv^2\mathbb {F}_2,~u^2=0, v^3=v\), which plays an important role in genetics, bioengineering and DNA computing. A direct link between the elements of the ring R and 64 codons used in the amino acids of living organisms is established by introducing a Gray map from R to \(R_1=\mathbb {F}_2+u\mathbb {F}_2 ~(u^2=0)\). The reversible and the reversible-complement codes over R are investigated. We also discuss the binary image of the cyclic DNA codes over R. Among others, some examples of DNA codes obtained via Gray map are provided.  相似文献

Given a Lie group G with a bi-invariant metric and a compact Lie subgroup K, Bittencourt and Ripoll used the homogeneous structure of quotient spaces to define a Gauss map ${\mathcal{N}:M^{n}\rightarrow{\mathbb{S}}}$ on any hypersupersurface ${M^{n}\looparrowright G/K}$ , where ${{\mathbb{S}}}$ is the unit sphere of the Lie algebra of G. It is proved in Bittencourt and Ripoll (Pacific J Math 224:45–64, 2006) that M n having constant mean curvature (CMC) is equivalent to ${\mathcal{N}}$ being harmonic, a generalization of a Ruh–Vilms theorem for submanifolds in the Euclidean space. In particular, when n = 2, the induced quadratic differential ${\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}:=(\mathcal{N}^{\ast}g)^{2,0}}$ is holomorphic on CMC surfaces of G/K. In this paper, we take ${G/K={\mathbb{S}}^{2}\times{\mathbb{R}}}$ and compare ${\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}}$ with the Abresch–Rosenberg differential ${\mathcal{Q}}$ , also holomorphic for CMC surfaces. It is proved that ${\mathcal{Q}=\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}}$ , after showing that ${\mathcal{N}}$ is the twisted normal given by (1.5) herein. Then we define the twisted normal for surfaces in ${{\mathbb{H}}^{2}\times{\mathbb{R}}}$ and prove that ${\mathcal{Q}=\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{N}}}$ as well. Within the unified model for the two product spaces, we compute the tension field of ${\mathcal{N}}$ and extend to surfaces in ${{\mathbb{H}}^{2}\times{\mathbb{R}}}$ the equivalence between the CMC property and the harmonicity of ${\mathcal{N}.}$   相似文献

In this work, we investigate linear codes over the ring ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ . We first analyze the structure of the ring and then define linear codes over this ring which turns out to be a ring that is not finite chain or principal ideal contrary to the rings that have hitherto been studied in coding theory. Lee weights and Gray maps for these codes are defined by extending on those introduced in works such as Betsumiya et al. (Discret Math 275:43–65, 2004) and Dougherty et al. (IEEE Trans Inf 45:32–45, 1999). We then characterize the ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ -linearity of binary codes under the Gray map and give a main class of binary codes as an example of ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ -linear codes. The duals and the complete weight enumerators for ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ -linear codes are also defined after which MacWilliams-like identities for complete and Lee weight enumerators as well as for the ideal decompositions of linear codes over ${\mathbb{F}_2+u\mathbb{F}_2+v\mathbb{F}_2+uv\mathbb{F}_2}$ are obtained.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of solution of the quaternion matrix equation ${A \tilde{X} -X B = C}$ by means of real representation of a quaternion matrix, derives a similarity version of Roth’s theorem for the existence of solution to the quaternion matrix equation, and obtains closed-form solutions of the quaternion matrix equation in explicit forms. As a special case, this paper also gives some applications of the solutions of complex matrix equation ${A \bar{X} -X B = C}$ and of the consimilarity of complex matrices.  相似文献
