The adsorption and dissociation of NH(3) on the clean and hydroxylated TiO(2) rutile (110) surfaces have been investigated by the first-principles calculations. The monodentate adsorbates such as H(3)N-Ti(a), H(2)N-Ti(a), N-Ti(a), H(2)N-O(a), HN-O(a), N-O(a) and H-O(a), as well as the bidentate adsorbate, Ti-N-Ti(a) can be formed on the clean surface. It is found that the hydroxyl group enhances the adsorption of certain adsorbates on the five-fold-coordinated Ti atoms (5c-Ti), namely H(2)N-Ti(a), HN-Ti(a), N-Ti(a) and Ti-N-Ti(a). In addition, the adsorption energy increases as the number of hydroxyl groups increases. On the contrary, the opposite effect is found for those on the two-fold-coordinated O atoms (2c-O). The enhanced adsorption of NH(x) (x = 1-2) on the 5c-Ti is due to the large electronegativity of the OH group, increasing the acidity of the Ti center. This also contributes to diminish the adsorption of NH(x) (x = 1-2) on the two-fold-coordinated O atoms (2c-O) decreasing its basicity. According to potential energy profile, the NH(3) dissociation on the TiO(2) surface is endothermic and the hydroxyl group is found to lower the energetics of H(2)N-Ti(a)+H-O(a) and HN-Ti(a)+2{H-O(a)}, but slightly raise the energetic of Ti-N-Ti(a)+3{H-O(a)} compare to those on the clean surface. However, the dissociation of NH(3) is found to occur on the hydroxylated surface with an overall endothermic by 31.8 kcal/mol and requires a barrier of 37.5 kcal/mol. A comparison of NH(3) on anatase surface has been discussed. The detailed electronic analysis is also carried out to gain insights into the interaction nature between adsorbate and surface.  相似文献

Complexes [MoCp(#)(PMe(3))(2)H(3)] (Cp(#)=1,2,4-C(5)H(2)tBu(3), 2 a; C(5)HiPr(4), 2 b) have been synthesized from the corresponding compounds [MoCp(#)Cl(4)] (1 a, 1 b) and fully characterized, including by X-ray crystallography and by a neutron diffraction study for 2 a. Protonation of 2 a led to complex [Mo(1,2,4-C(5)H(2)tBu(3))(PMe(3))(2)H(4)](+) (3 a) in THF and to [Mo(1,2,4-C(5)H(2)tBu(3))(PMe(3))(2)(MeCN)H(2)](+) (4 a) in MeCN. Complex 4 b analogously derives from protonation of 2 b in MeCN, whereas the tetrahydride complex 3 b is unstable. One-electron oxidation of 2 a and 2 b by [FeCp(2)]PF(6) produces the EPR-active 17-electron complexes 2 a(+) and 2 b(+). The former is thermally more stable than the latter and could be crystallographically characterized as the PF(6) (-) salt by X-ray diffraction, providing evidence for the presence of a stretched dihydrogen ligand (H...H=1.36(6) angstroms). Controlled thermal decomposition of 2 a(+) yielded the product of H(2) elimination, the 15-electron monohydride complex [Mo(1,2,4-C(5)H(2)tBu(3))(PMe(3))(2)H]PF(6) (5 a), which was characterized by X-ray crystallography and by EPR spectroscopy at liquid He temperature. The compound establishes an equilibrium with the solvent adduct in THF. An electrochemical study by cyclic voltammetry provides further evidence for a rapid H(2) elimination process from the 17-electron complexes. In contrast to the previously investigated [MoCp*(dppe)H(3)](+) system (dppe=1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane; Cp*=pentamethylcyclopentadienyl), the decomposition of 2 a(+) by H(2) substitution with a solvent molecule appears to follow a dissociative pathway in MeCN.  相似文献

The ambiphilic nature of geometrically constrained Group 15 complexes bearing the N,N‐bis(3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐phenolate)amide pincer ligand (ONO3?) is explored. Despite their differing reactivity towards nucleophilic substrates with polarised element–hydrogen bonds (e.g., NH3), both the phosphorus(III), P(ONO) ( 1 a ), and arsenic(III), As(ONO) ( 1 b ), compounds exhibit similar reactivity towards charged nucleophiles and electrophiles. Reactions of 1 a and 1 b with KOtBu or KNPh2 afford anionic complexes in which the nucleophilic anion associates with the pnictogen centre ([(tBuO)Pn(ONO)]? (Pn=P ( 2 a ), As ( 2 b )) and [(Ph2N)Pn(ONO)]? (Pn=P ( 3 a ), As ( 3 b )). Compound 2 a can subsequently be reacted with a proton source or benzylbromide to afford the phosphorus(V) compounds (tBuO)HP(ONO) ( 4 a ) and (tBuO)BzP(ONO) ( 5 a ), respectively, whereas analogous arsenic(V) compounds are inaccessible. Electrophilic substrates, such as HOTf and MeOTf, preferentially associate with the nitrogen atom of the ligand backbone of both 1 a and 1 b , giving rise to cationic species that can be rationalised as either ammonium salts or as amine‐stabilised phosphenium or arsenium complexes ([Pn{ON(H)O}]+ (Pn=P ( 6 a ), As ( 6 b )) and [Pn{ON(Me)O}]+ (Pn=P ( 7 a ), As ( 7 b )). Reaction of 1 a with an acid bearing a nucleophilic counteranion (such as HCl) gives rise to a phosphorus(V) compound HPCl(ONO) ( 8 a ), whereas the analogous reaction with 1 b results in the addition of HCl across one of the As?O bonds to afford ClAs{(H)ONO} ( 8 b ). Functionalisation at both the pnictogen centre and the ligand backbone is also possible by reaction of 7 a / 7 b with KOtBu, which affords the neutral species (tBuO)Pn{ON(Me)O} (Pn=P ( 9 a ), As ( 9 b )). The ambiphilic reactivity of these geometrically constrained complexes allows some insight into the mechanism of reactivity of 1 a towards small molecules, such as ammonia and water.  相似文献

Mononuclear nonheme iron(III) complexes of tetradentate ligands containing two deprotonated amide moieties, [Fe(Me(2)bpb)Cl(H(2)O)] (3 a) and [Fe(bpc)Cl(H(2)O)] (4 a), were prepared by substitution reactions involving the previously synthesized iron(III) complexes [Et(3)NH][Fe(Me(2)bpb)Cl(2)] (3) and [Et(3)NH][Fe(bpc)Cl(2)] (4). Complexes 3 a and 4 a were characterized by IR and elemental analysis, and complex 3 a also by X-ray crystallography. Nonheme iron(III) complexes 3, 3 a, 4, and 4 a catalyze olefin epoxidation and alcohol oxidation on treatment with m-chloroperbenzoic acid. Pairwise comparisons of the reactivity of these complexes revealed that the nature of the axial ligand (Cl(-) versus H(2)O) influences the yield of oxidation products, whereas an electronic change in the supporting chelate ligand has little effect. Hydrocarbon oxidation by these catalysts was proposed to involve an iron(V) oxo species which is formed on heterolytic O-O bond cleavage of an iron acylperoxo intermediate (FeOOC(O)R). Evidence for this iron(V) oxo species was derived from KIE (k(H)/k(D)) values, H(2) (18)O exchange experiments, and the use of peroxyphenylacetic acid (PPAA) as the peracid. Our results suggest that an Fe(V)=O moiety can form in a system wherein the supporting chelate ligand comprises a mixture of neutral and anionic nitrogen donors. This work is relevant to the chemistry of mononuclear nonheme iron enzymes that are proposed to oxidize organic substrates via reaction pathways involving high-valent iron oxo species.  相似文献

The aim of this work was to study the effect of a concentrate solution pH value and of the composition in calcium, carbonate, and protein of a diluate solution to be treated by conventional electrodialysis on the fouling of cation-exchange membranes (CEM). It appeared that after demineralization of solutions containing CaCl(2) and CaCl(2)+Na(2)CO(3) using a concentrate solution maintained at a pH of 12, mineral fouling appeared on both sides of the CEM. The nature of the deposits was identified as calcium hydroxide and/or carbonate on both surfaces. The mineral fouling presented an aggregation-like crystal following a carnation-like pattern of aggregates of small rhombohedral crystals with CaCl(2) added alone, while CaCl(2)+Na(2)CO(3) yielded a smoother spherical crystal. Protein fouling was detected only on the CEM surface in contact with the diluate after demineralization of a solution containing CaCl(2)+Na(2)CO(3) using a concentrate pH value of 2.  相似文献

Protein adsorption characteristics of calcium hydroxyapatite (Hap) modified with pyrophosphoric acids (PP(a)) were examined. The PP(a) modified Hap particles (abbreviated as PP-Hap) possessed anchored polyphosphate (PP: P-{O-PO(OH)}(n)-OH) branches on their surfaces. The proteins of bovine serum albumin (BSA: isoelectric point (iep)=4.7, molecular mass (M(s))=67,200 Da, acidic protein), myoglobin (MGB: iep=7.0, M(s)=17,800 Da, neutral protein), and lysozyme (LSZ: iep=11.1, M(s)=14,600 Da, basic protein) were examined. The zeta potential (zp) of PP-Hap particles as a function of pH overlapped; zp-pH curves were independent of the concentration of pyrophosphoric acids (abbreviated as [PP(a)]) used for modifying Hap surface. The saturated amounts of adsorbed BSA (Delta n(ads)(BSA)) were increased three-fold by the surface modification with PP(a) though they were independent of the [PP(a)]. Furthermore, the fraction of BSA desorption was independent of the [PP(a)]. This enhancement of BSA adsorption onto the PP-Hap is due to the hydrogen bonding between oxygen and OH groups of the PP-branches and functional groups of BSA molecules. In the case of LSZ, a more higher adsorption enhancement was observed; the saturated amount of adsorbed LSZ (Delta n(ads)(LSZ)) for Hap modified at [PP(a)]=6 mmol/dm(3) was nine-fold than that for Hap unmodified. This remarkable adsorption enhancement was explained by a three-dimensional binding mechanism; LSZ molecules were trapped inside of the PP-branches. Hence, a fraction of LSZ desorption was decreased with an increase in the [PP(a)]; as more PP-branches are presented on the surface the higher retardation of LSZ desorption was induced. It was expected from their small size that MGB adsorb between the PP-branches as well as LSZ. However, the amounts of adsorbed MGB (Delta n(ads)(MGB)) did not vary and were independent of the [PP(a)] due to the small numbers of functional groups of MGB. In addition, no dependence of the fraction of MGB desorption on the [PP(a)] was observed. The results of zp for all the protein systems supported the mode of protein adsorption discussed. The anchored structure of the PP-branches developed on the Hap surface to provide three-dimensional protein adsorption spaces was proved by a comparative experiment that was elucidating the effect of pyrophosphate ions for BSA adsorption onto Hap.

三种化合物均属正交晶系, 空间群分别为P212121(1), Pnaa(2), Pnaa(3). 1的晶胞参数为:a=9.963(2), b=11.004(3), c=20.144(6)埃, Z=4. 2的晶胞参数为: a=8.135(2),b=16.716(3), c=36.426(6)埃, Z=8. 3的昌胞参数为: a=8.165(1), b=16.714(3),c=36.710(4)埃, Z=8.

The hexadecanuclear, mixed-valence cluster [Mo(16)O(42)(OH)(2)(3-iPrC(3)H(3)N(2))(12)].H(2)O (1), has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, IR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The C(2)-symmetric complex consists of a cubane Mo(VI) (4)O(4) "jewel" held in a 10-point "setting" comprised of five dinuclear Mo(V) units tethered together by two tetrahedral Mo(VI) centers. The dinuclear units are ligated by twelve 3-isopropylpyrazole units that interact with the Mo--O framework through a network of hydrogen bonds. Structural parameters, charge requirements, and bond valence sum analyses support the assignment of +5 and +6 oxidation states to the dinuclear and cubane/tetrahedral Mo centers, respectively. Space filling models reveal that the pyrazole groups coat much of the surface of the molecule, apart from a number of oxo-rich seams that trace a chiral pattern across the surface. Complex 1 exhibits a unique structure that combines moieties generally atypical of polyoxometalates, viz., a Mo cubane containing only two terminal oxo ligands, and three distinct Mo(V) (2) units (including a 5-coordinate Mo center) tethered into a 10-point "setting" by tetrahedral Mo(VI) centers.  相似文献

Metal complex formation of the two cyclic triamines 6-methyl-1,4-diazepan-6-amine (MeL(a)) and all-cis-2,4,6-trimethylcyclohexane-1,3,5-triamine (Me(3)tach) was studied. The structure of the free ligands (H(x)MeL(a))(x+) and H(x)Me(3)tach(x+) (0 ≤ x ≤ 3) was investigated by pH-dependent NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction experiments. The crystal structure of (H(2)Me(3)tach)(p-O(3)S-C(6)H(4)-CH(3))(2) showed a chair conformation with axial nitrogen atoms for the doubly protonated species. In contrast to a previous report, Me(3)tach was found to be a stronger base than the parent cis-cyclohexane-1,3,5-triamine (tach); pK(a)-values of H(3)Me(3)tach(3+) (25 °C, 0.1 M KCl): 5.2, 7.4, 11.2. The crystal structures of (H(3)MeL(a))(BiCl(6))·2H(2)O and (H(3)MeL(a))(ClO(4))Cl(2) exhibited two distinct twisted chair conformations of the seven membered diazepane ring. [Co(MeL(a))(2)](3+) (cis: 1(3+), trans: 2(3+)), trans-[Fe(MeL(a))(2)](3+) (3(3+)), [(MeL(a))ClCd(μ(2)-Cl)](2) (4), trans-[Cu(MeL(a))(2)](2+) (5(2+)), and [Cu(HMeL(a))Br(3)] (6) were characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis of 1(ClO(4))(3)·H(2)O, 2Br(3)·H(2)O, 3(ClO(4))(3)·0.8MeCN·0.2MeOH, 4, 5Br(2)·0.5MeOH, and 6·H(2)O. Formation constants and redox potentials of MeL(a) complexes were determined by potentiometric, spectrophotometric, and cyclovoltammetric measurements. The stability of [M(II)(MeL(a))](2+)-complexes is low. In comparison to the parent 1,4-diazepan-6-amine (L(a)), it is only slightly enhanced. In analogy to L(a), MeL(a) exhibited a pronounced tendency for forming protonated species such as [M(II)(HMeL(a))](3+) or [M(II)(MeL(a))(HMeL(a))](3+) (see 6 as an example). In contrast to MeL(a), Me(3)tach forms [M(II)L](2+) complexes (M = Cu, Zn) of very high stability, and the coordination behavior corresponds mainly to an "all-or-nothing" process. Molecular mechanics calculations showed that the low stability of L(a) and MeL(a) complexes is mainly due to a large amount of torsional strain within the pure chair conformation of the diazepane ring, required for tridentate coordination. This behavior is quite contrary to Me(3)tach and tacn (tacn =1,4,7-triazacyclononane), where the main portion of strain is already preformed in the free ligand, and the amount, generated upon complex formation, is comparably low.  相似文献

1-Triphenylphosphoniobenzo[c]phospholide 1 reacts with [M(CO)(5)Br] (M = Mn, Re) and [Mn(CO)(3)(naphthalene)][BF(4)] to give complexes cis-[M(CO)(4)(1)Br] (5 a,b) and [Mn(CO)(3)(1)][BF(4)] (6 a[BF(4)]), respectively, featuring eta(1)(P)- and eta(5)(pi)-coordination of the phosphole ring. The corresponding reactions with [M(2)(CO)(10)] proceed with conservation of the metal-metal bond and yield, depending on the reaction temperature, dinuclear complexes [M(2)(CO)(8)(1)] (M=Mn, 7 a) or [M(2)(CO)(6)(1)(2)] (M=Mn, Re, 8 a,b) with mu(2)-bridging eta(1)(P):eta(2)(Pdbond;C) coordination of the phosphole moiety. All complexes formed were characterized by spectroscopic data; 5 b, 6 a[BF(4)], and 8 a,b were characterized by X-ray diffraction studies as well. The structural and (31)P NMR data of the dinuclear manganese complex 8 a suggest that the interaction between the metal atoms and the eta(2)-bound Pdbond;C double bond moieties is dominated by the L-->M charge-transfer contribution; this hints at a very low back-donation ability of the central M(2)(CO)(6) fragment. Investigation of the reactions of the Mn complexes 6 a and 8 a with Mg or ferrocenium hexafluorophosphate ([Fc][PF(6)]), respectively, revealed that the chemically reversible mutual interconversion between both species was feasible. Likewise, oxidation of the rhenium complex 8 b with [Fc][PF(6)] gave spectroscopic evidence for the formation of a Re analogue of 6 a. Electrochemical studies suggested that the oxidation 8 a-->2 6 a involves two consecutive single-electron-transfer steps, the first of which is electrochemically reversible and produces a metastable radical cation that is detectable by ESR spectroscopy. The mutual interconversion between 6 a and 8 a represents the first case of a reversible coordination isomerization of a phosphaarene that is triggered by a redox process and might stimulate further studies directed at the use of dinuclear phosphaarene complexes in redox-catalysis.  相似文献

Two synthetic models of the active site of cytochrome c oxidase--[(LN4-OH)CuI-FeII(TMP)]+ (1 a) and [(LN3-OH)CuI-FeII(TMP)]+ (2 a)-have been designed and synthesized. These models each contain a heme and a covalently attached copper moiety supported either by a tetradentate N4-copper chelate or by a tridentate N3-copper chelate including a moiety that acts as a mimic of the crosslinked His-Tyr component of cytochrome c oxidase. Low-temperature oxygenation reactions of these models have been investigated by spectroscopic methods including UV/Vis, resonance Raman, ESI-MS, and EPR spectroscopy. Oxygenation of the tetradentate model 1 a in MeCN and in other solvents produces a low-temperature-stable dioxygen-bridged peroxide [(LN4-OH)CuII-O2-FeIII(TMP)]+ {nuO--O=799 (16O2)/752 cm(-1) (18O2)}, while a heme superoxide species [(TMP)FeIII(O2-)CuIILN3-OH] {nuFe--O2: 576 (16O2)/551 cm(-1) (18O2)} is generated when the tridentate model 2 a is oxygenated in EtCN solution under similar experimental conditions. The coexistence of a heme superoxide species [(TMP)FeIII(O2-)CuIILN3-OH] and a bridged peroxide [(LN3-OH)CuII-O2-FeIII(TMP)]+ species in equal amounts is observed when the oxygenation reaction of 2 a is performed in CH2Cl(2)/7 % EtCN, while the percentage of the peroxide (approximately 70 %) in relation to superoxide (approximately 30 %) increases further when the crosslinked phenol moiety in 2 a is deprotonated to produce the bridged peroxide [(LN3-OH)CuII-O2-FeIII(TMP)]+ {nuO--O: 812 (16O2)/765 cm(-1) (18O2)} as the main dioxygen intermediate. The weak reducibility and decreased O2 reactivity of the tricoordinated CuI site in 2 a are responsible for the solvent-dependent formation of dioxygen adducts. The initial binding of dioxygen to the copper site en route to the formation of a bridged heme-O2-Cu intermediate by model 2 a is suggested and the deprotonated crosslinked His-Tyr moiety might contribute to enhancement of the O2 affinity of the CuI site at an early stage of the dioxygen-binding process.  相似文献

Five polymorphous frameworks of cobalt(II) imidazolates (1-5) have been prepared by solvatothermal syntheses. Of these, compound 3 has already been synthesized in a gas-phase reaction by Seel et al. in 1969 and structurally characterized by Sturm et al. in 1975. The new synthetic strategy affords four polymorphous frameworks of cobalt(II) imidazolates (1, 2, 4, 5) of crystalline substances, of which the compound 4 (a = b = 23.450(3), c = 12.460(3) A, tetragonal, I4(1)cd, Z = 16) is an isomorphous compound of [Zn(im)(2)]( infinity ), which was also synthesized in a gas-phase reaction in 1980. The frameworks of compounds 1 and 2 are porous and isostructural; they have the same framework topology that represents a novel uninodal (6,4)-net: 1: a = 18.513(4), b = 24.368(5), c = 9.2940(19) A, orthorhombic, Fdd2, Z = 16; 2: a = 17.635(4), b = 27.706(6), c = 9.0810(18) A, orthorhombic, Fdd2, Z = 16. The framework of compound 5 exhibits a topology of zeolitic structure with the unit-cell parameters: a = 24.3406(8), b = 9.4526(3), c = 24.8470(8) A, beta = 91.977(1) degrees, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4. All polymorphous frameworks of cobalt(II) imidazolates reflect the structural features of silica (SiO(2)) and also exhibit different magnetic behaviors, although the imidazolates transmit the antiferromagnetic coupling between the cobalt(II) ions in all cases. However, the uncompensated antiferromagnetic couplings arise from spin-canting are sensitive to the structures: compound 1 is an antiferromagnet with T(N) = 13.11 K; compounds 2-4 are weak ferromagnets (canted antiferromagnets): 2 shows a very weak ferromagnetism below 15 K, 3 exhibits a relatively strong ferromagnetism below 11.5 K and a coercive field (H(C)) of 1800 Oe at 1.8 K, and 4 displays the strongest ferromagnetism of the three cobalt imidazolates and demonstrates a T(C) of 15.5 K with a coercive field, H(C), of 7300 Oe at 1.8 K. However, compound 5 seems to be a hidden canted antiferromagnet with a magnetic ordering temperature of 10.6 K.  相似文献

Persistent noncyclic phosphoranyl radicals have been prepared and observed by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) for the first time. They were obtained by UV-photolysis of a solution containing a bis(trialkylsilyl) peroxide (R = Me, Et) and a tris(trialkylsilyl) phosphite (R = Me, Et, iPr). EPR parameters (a(P) approximately 100 mT) are typical of phosphoranyl radicals exhibiting a trigonal-bipyramidal structure, with the odd electron in an equatorial site. Analysis of the pseudo-first-order decay shows that these phosphoranyl radicals decay by S(H)2 homolytic substitution on the bis(trialkylsilyl) peroxide and by loss of a trialkylsilyloxyl radical (alpha-scission reaction). Both the S(H)2 and alpha-scission reactions depend on the steric bulk of the alkyl groups, that is, the bulkier the alkyl group, the slower the S(H)2 and alpha-scission reactions.  相似文献

The PCP-Rh(I) complex 1a based on the [1,3-phenylenebis(methylene)]bis(diisopropylphosphine) ligand reacts with [diazo(phenyl)methyl]trimethylstannane (2) at room temperature to give novel pincer-type phenyl(dimethylstannyl)methylene]hydrazinato complex 3a. The reaction sequence involves a unique combination of Sn-C bond cleavage, C-C bond formation, C-H activation and intramolecular deprotonation of a rhodium hydride intermediate, which results in methylene transfer from an SnMe group to the pincer system and PCP-chelate expansion. A methylene-transfer reaction was also demonstrated with tetramethyltin as the methylene source in the presence of KOC(CH(3))(3) at room temperature. The resulting unstable "chelate-expanded" Rh(I) complex [(C(10)H(5)(CH(2)PiPr(2))(2))(CH(2))Rh(L)] (L=N(2), THF; 4a) was isolated as its carbonyl derivative 5a. Heating 4a in benzene yielded an equimolar amount of toluene and 1a, which demonstrates the ability of the Rh(I) pincer complex to extract a methylene group from an unactivated alkyl tin substrate and transfer it, via C-C followed by C-H activation, to an arene. Use of fluorobenzene resulted in formation of fluorotoluene. Catalytic methylene-group transfer mediated by 1a was not possible, because of formation of o-xylylene complex 8 under the reaction conditions. Steric parameters play a decisive role in the reactivity with tin compounds; while iPrP derivative 1 a underwent facile reactions, tBuP complex 1b was inert.  相似文献

Micellar inhibition effect of gangliosides on a degradation of drug was investigated, where ganglioside G(M1) (GM1), G(D1a) (GD1a) and G(T1b) (GTlb) whose sialic acid residue is one, two and three, respectively, were used. The base-catalyzed isomerization of prostaglandin A(2) (PGA(2)) to prostaglandin B(2) (PGB(2)) was chosen as a model experiment. The rate for the isomerization of PGA(2) was determined by measuring the concentration of PGA(2) (and PGB(2)) with a high-performance liquid chromatography. Gangliosides micelles inhibited the isomerization of PGA(2). The inhibition effect of GT1b micelles was larger than that of GD1a micelles. This result would be due to the larger absolute value of surface potential of GT1b micelles, which brings about a larger electrostatic repulsion between micellar surface and OH(-). The terminal sialic acid residue of ganglioside was effective to inhibit the isomerization of PGA(2). GM1 micelles without terminal sialic acid residue but with large aggregation number exhibited a superior steric shielding effect rather than an electrostatically repulsive effect. The inhibition effect of GM1 micelles was enhanced by the mixed micellization with the other ganglioside with a terminal sialic acid residue. GM1-GD1a or GM1-GT1b mixed micelles remarkably inhibited the isomerization of PGA(2). The physiological activity of PGs in the biological membranes containing gangliosides was also discussed.  相似文献

The structure and aromaticity of a royal crown-shaped molecule Li(3)-N(3)-Be are studied at the CCSD(T)/aug-cc-pVDZ level. This molecule is a charge-separated system and can be denoted as Li(3) (2+)N(3) (3-)Be(+). It is found that the Li(3) (2+) ring exhibits aromaticity mainly because the Li(3) (2+) ring can share the pi-electron with the N(3) (-3) ring. The 4n+2 electron counter rule can be satisfied for the Li(3) (2+) subunit if the shared pi valence electron of N(3) (3-) subunit is also taken into account. This new knowledge on aromaticity of a ring from the interactions between subunits is revealed first time in this paper. Li(3)-N(3)-Be can be also regarded as a molecule containing two superatoms (Li(3) and N(3)), which may be named as a "superomolecule." Li(3)-N(3)-Be is a new metal-nonmetal-metal type sandwich complex. The N(3) (3-) trianion in the middle repulses the electron clouds of the two metal subunits (mainly to the Li(3) superatom) to generate an excess electron, and thus Li(3)-N(3)-Be is also an electride. This phenomenon of the repulsion results in: (a) the HOMO energy level increased, (b) the electron cloud in HOMO distended, (c) the area of the negative NICS value extended, and (d) the VIE value lowered. So the superomolecule Li(3)-N(3)-Be is not only a new metal-nonmetal-metal type sandwich complex but also a new type electride, which comes from the interaction between the alkali superatom (Li(3)) and the nonmetal superatom (N(3)).  相似文献

The performance of microchip electrophoresis/electrochemistry system with carbon nanotube (CNT) film electrodes was studied. Electrocatalytic activities of different carbon materials (single-wall CNT (SWCNT), multiwall CNT (MWCNT), carbon powder) cast on different electrode substrates (glassy carbon (GC), gold, and platinum) were compared in a microfluidic setup and their performance as microchip electrochemical detectors was assessed. An MWCNT film on a GC electrode shows electrocatalytic effect toward oxidation of dopamine (E(1/2) shift of 0.09 V) and catechol (E(1/2) shift of 0.19 V) when compared to a bare GC electrode, while other CNT/carbon powder films on the GC electrode display negligible effects. Modification of a gold electrode by graphite powder results in a strong electrocatalytic effect toward oxidation of dopamine and catechol (E(1/2) shift of 0.14 and 0.11 V, respectively). A significant shift of the half-wave potentials to lower values also provide the MWCNT film (E(1/2) shift of 0.08 and 0.08 V for dopamine and catechol, respectively) and the SWCNT film (E(1/2) shift of 0.10 V for catechol) when compared to a bare gold electrode. A microfluidic device with a CNT film-modified detection electrode displays greatly improved separation resolution (R(s)) by a factor of two compared to a bare electrode, reflecting the electrocatalytic activity of CNT.  相似文献

The COSMO-RS method, a combination of the quantum chemical dielectric continuum solvation model COSMO with a statistical thermodynamics treatment for realistic solvation simulations, has been used for the prediction of base pK(a) constants. For a variety of 43 organic bases the directly calculated values of the free energies of dissociation in water showed a very good correlation with experimental base pK(a) values (r2 = 0.98), corresponding to a standard deviation of 0.56 pK(a) units. Thus, we have an a priori prediction method for base pK(a) with the regression constant and the slope as only adjusted parameters. In accord with recent findings for pK(a) acidity predictions, the slope of pK(a) vs. DeltaG(diss) was significantly smaller than the theoretically expected value of 1/RTln(10). The predictivity of the presented method is general and not restricted to certain compound classes, but systematic corrections of 1 and 2 pKa units for secondary and tertiary aliphatic amines are required, respectively. The pK(a) prediction method was validated on a set of 58 complex multifunctional drug-like compounds, yielding an RMS accuracy of 0.66 pK(a) units.  相似文献
