本文针对过冷沸腾中汽泡顶部射流现象进行分析与模拟。建立汽泡界面模型,考虑蒸发凝结以及Marangoni效应。利用CFD软件Fluent6.0对模型进行计算分析,成功模拟得到泡顶射流流场。模拟结果无论是流场结构,还是流场强度,都与实验一致吻合,充分证明泡顶射流由Marangoni效应引起。  相似文献

本文报告了使用R-12作工质进行的自然循环过冷沸腾起始点和净蒸汽产生点的实验结果。实验过程中使用可视化方法观察确定过冷沸腾起始点和净蒸汽产生点。在相当宽广的工质压力、入口过冷度及加热功率范围内研究了上述参数对过冷沸腾起始点和净蒸汽产生点的影响,在此基础上提出了计算自然循环过冷沸腾起始点和净蒸汽产生点的计算方法。  相似文献

超弹性材料是工程实际中常用的材料,具有很强的非线性力学性能.将超弹性材料应用于入水问题是一个新的跨学科研究方向.与传统的刚性球体入水现象不同,超弹性球体入水后极易发生变形.为了探究该大变形的入水流固耦合问题,本文采用高速摄像方法,对超弹性球体垂直入水问题开展实验研究.基于实验结果,对比分析了球体材料属性和入水冲击条件对入水空泡流动及球体变形行为的影响.实验结果表明,超弹性球体入水后产生嵌套空泡现象的条件是需要足够大的入水冲击条件和小的材料剪切模量.嵌套空泡产生和保持的时间与球体的剪切模量和直径有关.超弹性球体的入水位移及其形成空泡的长度随入水冲击速度和剪切模量的增大而增大,却随球体直径的增大而减小.入水冲击速度的增加只会加剧球体的变形程度,而不影响嵌套空泡的产生时刻.同时,本文对球体的变形行为随弗劳德数和剪切模量与水动力之比的变化特性进行了描述与研究.  相似文献

Subcooled flow boiling heat transfer experiments were performed with water and ethylene glycol/water mixtures at five flow velocities and four fluid inlet temperatures. Both turbulent flow and laminar flow were tested in a special test facility with its experimental test section heated from the bottom surface only. Boiling curves and subcooled flow boiling heat transfer coefficients of the tested fluids were determined from the experimental measurements. Predictive correlations of the subcooled flow boiling heat transfer coefficients were developed based on the experimental data. Comparisons are presented of wall temperatures between the experimental measurements and the correlation predictions.  相似文献

Splashes caused by a spherical body plunging into water were investigated experimentally using a high speed CMOS camera. We categorized types of splash according to impact velocities of the sphere. Three types of splash were found: Type-I is a thin spire-type splash, Type-II is a mushroom-type splash with many droplets, and Type-III is a crown-type splash with many droplets. The reaction to the concave water surface attached to the sinking sphere is a cause of the Type-I splash. The film flow climbing up the sphere is a dominant cause of the Type-II splash. The velocity of the film flow, which is proportional to the impact velocity of the sphere, affects the fingers of the film flow, detaching of droplets, and maximum height of the Type-II splash. The Type-III crown-type splash is characterized by water jets with many droplets. A bulky air column in water is formed behind the sinking sphere, and longitudinal ridges and ripples on the surface of the air column were observed.  相似文献

A closed-loop two-phase mini-channel-based heat sink driven by a micro-gear pump was developed in this work. Using water as an example, experiments were performed in two micro-channel heat sinks under the conditions of initial pressure of Pin = 34–113 kPa, mass velocity of G = 19–468 kg/m2s, outlet quality of xe,out = ?14–66%, and heat flux of q″ = 0–230 W/cm2, which covered single-phase flow, subcooled flow boiling, and saturated flow boiling regions. The results showed distinctive differences between the subcooled and saturated boiling regime and revealed that the influence of the system pressure. The experimental data were also compared to a boiling mechanism demarcation map and assessed against some empirical correlations, which suggests some uniqueness of the current heat sink associated with flow boiling at the mesoscale.  相似文献

At the impact of a liquid droplet on a smooth surface heated above the liquid's boiling point, the droplet either immediately boils when it contacts the surface ("contact boiling"), or without any surface contact forms a Leidenfrost vapor layer towards the hot surface and bounces back ("gentle film boiling"), or both forms the Leidenfrost layer and ejects tiny droplets upward ("spraying film boiling"). We experimentally determine conditions under which impact behaviors in each regime can be realized. We show that the dimensionless maximum spreading γ of impacting droplets on the heated surfaces in both gentle and spraying film boiling regimes shows a universal scaling with the Weber number We (γ~We(2/5)), which is much steeper than for the impact on nonheated (hydrophilic or hydrophobic) surfaces (γ~We(1/4)). We also interferometrically measure the vapor thickness under the droplet.  相似文献

在蒸汽爆炸的粗混合过程中,由于液体的快速蒸发,高温金属液滴的周围会产生一层很薄的蒸汽膜,此时液滴周围的边界层流动与没有液体蒸发时有很大的不同,因此,常温情况下的小球在连续液体中运动时的通用阻力模型在这种情况下是不适用的.本文通过受力分析,考虑了高温小球受力的分布和表面蒸发对小球周围力的影响,从阻力的基本机理上分析了蒸发状态下小球的运动阻力,分别提出了高温颗粒穿过自由表面时与其在液体中运动时的蒸发阻力模型.分析表明,当小球温度高于2500 K,特别是在靠近自由表面的区域,由于小球表面液体蒸发而产生的蒸发阻力作用非常明显.分析指出,小球的入水初速、小球表面的液体蒸发速率以及汽膜厚度都是影响小球运动阻力大小的重要因素.  相似文献

This paper studies the propagating characteristics of the electromagnetic waves through the coupled-resonator optical waveguides based on the two-dimensional square-lattice photonic crystals by the finite-difference time-domain method.When the traditional circular rods adjacent to the centre of the cavities are replaced by the oval rods,the simulated results show that the waveguide mode region can be adjusted only by the alteration of the oval rods’ obliquity.When the obliquity of the oval rods around one cavity is different from the obliquity of that around the adjacent cavities,the group velocities of the waveguide modes can be greatly reduced and the information of different frequencies can be shared and chosen at the same time by the waveguide branches with different structures.If the obliquities of the oval rods around two adjacent cavities are equal and they alternate between two values,the group velocities can be further reduced and a maximum value of 0.0008c(c is the light velocity in vacuum) can be acquired.  相似文献

基于高速摄像方法,针对入水空泡流动特征和机理,进行了开放腔体圆柱壳垂直入水实验研究.通过对实验现象的观测,发现开放腔体圆柱壳入水运动会形成波动流动和云化流动两种流动方式,结合影像数据,分别描述了两种流动状态下的空泡形态特征,并获得了空泡波动参数的变化规律;对比不同入水速度实验,分析了入水速度对入水空泡流动方式和流动参数的影响;依据流体力学基本理论,分析了入水空泡波动和云化现象的形成机理.结果表明:随入水速度增加,入水空泡依次呈现波动和云化两种流动状态,波动频率与入水速度无关,闭合发生时间随入水速度增加而减小,与Froude数呈线性关系;入水导致开放空腔内部气体涨缩,引起开放端压力场和速度场周期性扰动,空泡截面扩展程度出现差异,形成空泡波动现象;空泡闭合后尾部形成回射流,回射流触及空泡壁面引起壁面流动转捩,形成空泡云化现象.  相似文献

This paper represents results on investigating the dynamics of boiling and disintegration of superheated liquid films and jets. The first part deals with experimental study of boiling liquid outflow through short cylindrical and slit channels. Evolution of disintegration of a hot water jet flow is observed both at low and moderate superheating and at high and limit superheating, and also for vaporization mechanisms corresponding to these superheatings. Peculiarities of disintegration of jets through slit and cylindrical channels are noticed. Results on measuring the reactive thrust of the jet through a slit channel under different geometrical conditions behind the channel outlet are represented. The 1/f fluctuations in transient regimes of superheated liquid boiling and in transient regimes of behavior of the jet shape are found. The second part of this article represents results on experimental investigation of nonsteady heat transfer and dynamics of the development of crisis phenomena at boiling of a falling subcooled liquid film in the conditions of stepwise heat release. The experimental data were obtained using synchronized high-speed infrared thermography and video. It is shown that with growth and condensation of vapor bubbles, on the liquid film interface appear large-amplitude waves that lead to considerably increasing local intensity of heat transfer. New data on the boiling incipience temperature in a subcooled liquid film, depending on the heat flux density, are obtained. It is found that the development of boiling crisis is a result of appearance of local dry patches and their subsequent growth by the mechanism of longitudinal thermal conductivity in the heat transfer wall as the equilibrium heat flux density is exceeded.  相似文献

基于已知的2087组水的过冷流动沸腾传热实验数据,通过努塞尔数(Nu)和格拉晓夫数(Gr)的关系探讨了不同流动方向和加热方式下浮升力对过冷流动沸腾传热性能的影响。对上壁面单边加热水平矩形管内过冷流动沸腾传热进行了实验研究。实验结果表明,向上的浮升力阻碍了气泡向流体中的扩散,使得传热恶化。在增加流速、增大压力和减小过冷度的条件下,Nu均随Gr增加,使过冷流动沸腾传热得到强化。  相似文献

A closed flowing thick film filtered water immersion technique ensures a controlled geometry for both the optical interfaces of the flowing liquid film and allows repeatable control of flow-rate during machining. This has the action of preventing splashing, ensures repeatable machining conditions and allows control of liquid flow velocity. To investigate the impact of this technique on ablation threshold, bisphenol A polycarbonate samples have been machined using KrF excimer laser radiation passing through a medium of filtered water flowing at a number of flow velocities, that are controllable by modifying the liquid flow-rates. An average decrease in ablation threshold of 7.5% when using turbulent flow velocity regime closed thick film filtered water immersed ablation, compared to ablation using a similar beam in ambient air; however, the use of laminar flow velocities resulted in negligible differences between closed flowing thick film filtered water immersion and ambient air. Plotting the recorded threshold fluence achieved with varying flow velocity showed that an optimum flow velocity of 3.00 m/s existed which yielded a minimum ablation threshold of 112 mJ/cm2. This is attributed to the distortion of the ablation plume effected by the flowing immersion fluid changing the ablation mechanism: at laminar flow velocities Bremsstrahlung attenuation decreases etch rate, at excessive flow velocities the plume is completely destroyed, removing the effect of plume etching. Laminar flow velocity regime ablation is limited by slow removal of debris causing a non-linear etch rate over ‘n’ pulses which is a result of debris produced by one pulse remaining suspended over the feature for the next pulse. The impact of closed thick film filtered water immersed ablation is dependant upon beam fluence: high fluence beams achieved greater etch efficiency at high flow velocities as the effect of Bremsstrahlung attenuation is removed by the action of the fluid on the plume; low fluences loose efficiency as the beam makes proportionally large fluence losses at it passes through the chamber window and immersion medium.  相似文献

In this paper, the subcooled flow boiling heat transfer coefficient of pure water, water–ethanol mixture and pure ethanol is determined experimentally in horizontal rectangular channels for various parameters like heat flux, mass flux and channel inlet temperatures. Flow visualization is carried out using high speed camera. The bubble departure diameter, growth period and waiting period of bubbles are determined. Correlations are developed for subcooled flow boiling Nusselt number of water–ethanol mixture based on force balance approach and heat transfer approach. The parameters considered for correlation are grouped as dimensionless numbers by Buckingham π-theorem. The significance of each dimensionless number on heat transfer coefficient is discussed. The correlations developed for subcooled flow boiling heat transfer coefficient are validated with the experimental data. They are found to be in good agreement with the experimental data. It is found that the correlation based on force balance approach predicts the subcooled flow boiling Nusselt number well when compared with that of heat transfer approach correlation.  相似文献

Heat transfer with vapor condensation inside a longitudinally finned tube is numerically studied. The proposed model considers vapor condensation on two initial flow areas, namely, annular and rivulet. The model allows prediction of pressure difference along the tube length, vapor velocity profiles in the central channel and an interfin groove, and also a velocity profile in the condensate rivulet at the bottom of the interfin channel, local heat transfer coefficients at different fin points, and average heat transfer coefficients over tube section and length. The calculations showed that in the case of vapor condensation in longitudinally finned tubes of a small diameter it is of fundamental importance to divide the flow tube section into a central channel and interfin channels. The governing vapor velocities in these channels may differ by more than an order of magnitude. The reduced vapor velocity, used in engineering calculations, does not reflect the character of dynamic vapor impact on a condensate film on the most part of the heat transfer surface. For tubes with relatively large fins the proposed model describes vapor condensation almost completely,meanwhile, the mass vapor quality by the time of filling of the grooves reaches 0.01–0.05. The highest heat transfer intensification was obtained for “sharp fins” with a high value of the fin head curvature. Comparison of results of calculation by the model with results of the known experiments on water vapor condensation yields a good qualitative and quantitative agreement for low vapor velocities at the channel inlet (under 30 m/s). The wall thermal conductivity coefficient value affects significantly the condensation efficiency.  相似文献

We propose a method of increasing the pitch factor and decreasing the spread of rotational velocities of helical electron beams (HEBs) formed in nonadiabatic magnetron-injection guns of gyroresonant devices. The method is based on the effect of a special diaphragm mounted at the starting point of the transport channel on the process of formation of the laminar electron beam. The diaphragm located at one of the trajectory minima has such a diameter that it cannot be bent around by electrons with minimum rotational velocities. Such electrons land on it, whereas the remaining electrons pass further, moving in an increasing magnetic field. Then the electrons with the maximum rotational velocities reflect from the magnetic mirror adiabatically and land on the other side of the same diaphragm. Thus, the electron beam in the cavity contains electrons with a smaller resulting spread of rotational velocities. In the region of the HEB formation, the accumulation of the space charge of reflected electrons is eliminated, and the shielding of the electric field at the cathode is reduced, which eventually leads to an increase in the HEB pitch factor. In the present work, a Cz-Silicon wafer is implanted with helium ions to produce a buried porous layer, and then thermally annealed in a dry oxygen atmosphere to make oxygen transport into the cavities. The formation of the buried oxide layer in the case of internal oxidation (ITOX) of the buried porous layer of cavities in the silicon sample is studied by positron beam annihilation (PBA). The cavities are formed by 15 keV He implantation at a fluence of 2×10^16 cm^-2 and followed by thermal annealing at 673 K for 30 min in vacuum. The internal oxidation is carried out at temperatures ranging from 1073 to 1473 K for 2 h in a dry oxygen atmosphere. The layered structures evolved in the silicon are detected by using the PBA and the thicknesses of their layers and nature are also investigated. It is found that rather high temperatures must be chosen to establish a sufficient flux of oxygen into the cavity layer. On the other hand high temperatures lead to coarsening the cavities and removing the cavity layer finally.  相似文献
