正The pairing symmetry of the superconducting order parameter contains key information about the pairing mechanism of the superconductor. For conventional superconductors, whose pairing is usually induced by the electron-phonon interaction, the pairing symmetry is s-wave, and the superconducting gap is fully open everywhere on the Fermi surface. For unconventional superconductors such as the cuprate and heavy fermion superconductors, other pairing symmetries may occur, leading to symmetry-mandated nodes in the superconducting order parameter.  相似文献

The recently discovered kagome metal series AV_3Sb_5(A=K, Rb, Cs) exhibits topologically nontrivial band structures, chiral charge order and superconductivity, presenting a unique platform for realizing exotic electronic states. The nature of the superconducting state and the corresponding pairing symmetry are key questions that demand experimental clarification. Here, using a technique based on the tunneling diode oscillator, the magnetic penetration depth ?λ(T) of CsV_3Sb_5 was measured down to 0.07 K. A clear exponential behavior in ?λ(T) with marked deviations from a T or T2 temperature dependence was observed at low temperatures, indicating an absence of nodal quasiparticles. Temperature dependence of the superfiuid density and electronic specific heat can be described by two-gap s-wave superconductivity, consistent with the presence of multiple Fermi surfaces in CsV_3Sb_5. These results evidence nodeless superconductivity in CsV_3Sb_5 under ambient pressure, and constrain the allowed pairing symmetry.  相似文献

Terahertz and infrared spectra of the conductivity, σ(ν), and dielectric constant, ?(ν), of a Ba(Fe0.9Co0.1)2As2 film (T c = 20 K) have been analyzed together with previous specific-heat and angular resolved photoelectron spectroscopy data. It has been shown that the spectra σ(ν) and ?(ν) of Ba(Fe0.9Co0.1)2As2 in the superconducting phase at T = 5 K, as well as the magnetic field penetration depth, can be described well using the standard Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) model with an additive contribution of electron and hole bands. It has been found that the measured temperature dependence of the magnetic field penetration depth in a wide temperature range 5 K < T < T c can be described only with the introduction of interband pairing interaction. The coupling constant of electron and hole bands, λ1, 2 = 0.1, as well as the temperature dependences of superconducting gaps in the electron and hole subsystems, has been determined using the model of two-band superconductivity developed earlier for MgB2.  相似文献

The characteristics of nonphonon pairing of hybridized p and d electrons in planar complexes RuO2 are studied in the presence of a strong short-range Hubbard repulsion. The phase diagram of superconductivity as a function of the degree of underfilling of the 2p 6 and 4d 6 shells in the RuO2 complexes is calculated in a generalized Hubbard model. Fiz. Tverd. Electric transport and scanning tunneling spectrum(STS)have been investigated on polycrystalline samples of the new superconductor Bi4O4S3.A weak insulating behavior in the resistive curve has been induced in the normal state when the superconductivity is suppressed by applying a magnetic field.Interestingly,a kink appears on the temperature dependence of resistivity near 4 K at all high magnetic fields above 1 T when the bulk superconductivity is completely suppressed. This kink associated with the upper critical field as well as the wide range of excess conductance at low fields and high temperatures is explained as the possible evidence of strong superconducting fluctuation. From the tunneling spectra,a superconducting gap of about 3 meV is frequently observed yielding a ratio of 2Δ/kB TC~16.6.This value is much larger than the one predicted by the BCS theory in the weak coupling regime(2Δ/kB TC~3.53),which suggests the strong coupling superconductivity in the present system.Furthermore, the gapped feature persists on the spectra until 14 K in the STS measurement, which suggests a prominent fluctuation region of superconductivity.Such a superconducting fluctuation can survive at very high magnetic fields, which are far beyond the critical fields for bulk superconductivity as inferred both from electric transport and tunneling measurements.  相似文献

We describe damping of hypersonic and ultrasonic longitudinal acoustic (LA) phonons in crystals of Cs 5H (3)(SO (4))(4);xH 2O (PCHS) between 100 and 360 K. The damping of LA phonons exhibits strong dispersion caused by relaxation processes in the region of transformation into the glasslike phase (T(g) approximately 260 K). Near T(g) the damping of ultrasonic phonons propagating in the basal plane reflects the cooperative freezing of acid protons. The damping of LA phonons propagating perpendicular to the basal plane can be fit by the Debye model and is due to the interaction between protons and LA phonons. This suggests that the proton glass state that is realized at T相似文献

We have measured the critical temperature (Tc) and the upper critical magnetic field (Hc2) of La1-xGdxRu2. At low concentrations of the magnetic impurity (Gd), the suppression of Tc follows the expected Abrikosov-Gorkov (A-G) pair breaking curve. However, for larger concentrations, strong deviations below A-G are observed. Samples in this region (4. ? × ? 5. at. %) exhibit two Tc's. La1-xGdxRu2 is known to order magnetically, probably as a spin glass, and the magnetic ordering temperature (TM) has been measured in the normal state. This TM curve intersects the Tc curve in the concentration range where the Tc curve is re-entrant and we therefore attribute the re-entrant Tc behavior to the magnetic ordering of the Gd3+ ions.  相似文献

The superconducting and magnetic states of asymmetric ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet (F/S/F′) nanostructures have been investigated using the boundary value problem for the Eilenberger function. It has been shown that 0- and π-phase superconducting states of pure thin F/S/F′ trilayers are controlled by the magnitude and sign of electron correlations in the F and F′ layers, as well as by the competition between homogeneous Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) pairing and inhomogeneous Larkin-Ovchinnikov-Fulde-Ferrell (LOFF) pairing. The LOFF-BCS-LOFF separate re-entrant superconductivity has been predicted for F/S/F′ trilayers. A continuous control of the pair-breaking factor in the Eilenberger function and transition to the state with re-entrant superconductivity is achieved by varying the thickness of the F′ layer. Sine-modulated 2D LOFF states in asymmetric F/S/F′ trilayers are possible not only for parallel, but also for antiparallel orientations of the magnetizations of the F and F′ layers; this fact significantly facilitates the experimental implementation of the predicted phenomena.  相似文献

A model of quasi-two-dimensional d-wave superconductor, with strong nesting properties of the Fermi surface is considered. The orbital effect of a moderate magnetic field applied perpendicularly to the conducting planes is studied in the mean field approximation. It is shown that the field can induce a time reversal symmetry breaking SDW order coexisting with the superconducting order and can open a gap over the whole Fermi surface. The anomalies recently observed in the heat conductivity in might be ascribed to this effect. Received 7 May 1999 and Received in final form 13 August 1999  相似文献

Bismuth telluride(Bi_2Te_3) based alloys, such as p-type Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_3, have been leading candidates for near room temperature thermoelectric applications. In this study, Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 bulk materials with MnSb_2Se_4 were prepared using high-energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering(SPS) process. The addition of MnSb_2Se_4 to Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 increased the hole concentration while slightly decreasing the Seebeck coefficient, thus optimising the electrical transport properties of the bulk material. In addition, the second phases of MnSb_2Se_4 and Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 were observed in the Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 matrix. The nanoparticles in the semi-coherent second phase of MnSb_2Se_4 behaved as scattering centres for phonons, yielding a reduction in the lattice thermal conductivity. Substantial enhancement of the figure of merit, ZT, has been achieved for Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 by adding an Mn_(0.8)Cu_(0.2)Sb_2Se_4(2mol%) sample, for a wide range of temperatures, with a peak value of 1.43 at 375 K, corresponding to ~40% improvement over its Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 counterpart. Such enhancement of the thermoelectric(TE) performance of p-type Bi_2Te_3 based materials is believed to be advantageous for practical applications.  相似文献

The interlayer and intralayer resistances and Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations in a new dual-layered quasi-two-dimensional organic metal (BETS)4CoBr4(C6H4Cl2) with a periodically varying structure of cation layers have been studied. It has been shown that the interlayer resistivity corresponds to an incoherent or weakly incoherent transport regime. The oscillations of the magnetoresistance have been described by a model of a chain of coherent magnetic breakdown orbits taking into account the quantum interference effect. The behavior of the interlayer transport, as well as quantum oscillations, is in good agreement with the theoretical calculations of the band structure.  相似文献

Quantum magnetization and magnetoresistance oscillations are detected in the quasi-two-dimensional organic metal (BEDO-TTF)5[RbHg(SCN)4]2 for the first time. The magnetization oscillation spectrum corresponds to a calculated Fermi surface provided that a magnetic breakdown is realized. The magnetoresistance oscillation spectrum contains additional frequencies, one of which can unambiguously be related to quantum interference. An analysis of the angular dependence of the magnetoresistance oscillation amplitude indicates that the many-body interactions in this metal are weak.  相似文献

The phase diagram of the organic superconductor (TMTSF)2PF6has been revisited using transport measurements with an improved control of the applied pressure. We have found a 0.8 kbar wide pressure domain below the critical point (9.43 kbar, 1.2 K) for the stabilisation of the superconducting ground state featuring a coexistence regime between spin density wave (SDW) and superconductivity (SC). The inhomogeneous character of the said pressure domain is supported by the analysis of the resistivity between T SDW and T SC and the superconducting critical current. The onset temperature T SC is practically constant ( 1.20±0.01 K) in this region where only the SC/SDW domain proportion below T SC is increasing under pressure. An homogeneous superconducting state is recovered above the critical pressure with T SC falling at increasing pressure. We propose a model comparing the free energy of a phase exhibiting a segregation between SDW and SC domains and the free energy of homogeneous phases which explains fairly well our experimental findings. We performed the single-crystal 13C NMR studies on a quasi-two-dimensional system, deuterated kappa-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu[N(CN)(2)]Br, which is just on the border of the Mott transition. The NMR spectra are separated into two parts coming from the metallic (superconducting) and insulating phases due to the phase separation at low temperature. The examination of the separated spectra revealed that the Mott transition in this system is characterized by the first-order transition between the pseudogapped superconductor and the simplest commensurate antiferromagnet with a moment of 0.26 mu(B)/dimer.  相似文献

The Nambu spinor Green's function approach is applied to calculating the density of states (DOS) and superconducting order parameter in normal-metal/insulator/ferromagnet/superconductor (NM/I/FM/SC) junctions. It is found that the s-wave superconductivity and ferromagnetism can coexist near the FM/SC interface, which is induced by proximity effect. On the SC side, the spin-dependent DOS appears both within and without the energy gap. On the FM side, the superconducting order parameter displays a damped oscillation and the DOS exhibits some superconducting behavior. The calculated result for the DOS in FM for “0 state” and “π state” can reproduce recent tunneling spectra in Al/Al2O3/PdNi/Nb tunnel junctions. We review the main features of odd triplet superconductivity in superconductor-ferromagnet (S/F) structures. We discuss the different types of superconducting condensate that can be experimentally observed and pay special attention to the triplet component induced in a ferromagnet which is in contact with a superconductor. The triplet component is an even function of the momentum and an odd function of the frequency and leads to novel phenomena. PACS 74.78.Fk; 73.23.-b; 74.50.+r; 75.70.-i  相似文献
