In this paper, we introduce an algebra of singular integral operators containing Bessel potentials of positive order, and show that the corresponding unital Banach algebra is an inverse-closed Banach subalgebra of ${\mathcal {B}} (L^q_w)$ , the Banach algebra of all bounded operators on the weighted space $L_w^q$ , for all $1\le q<\infty $ and Muckenhoupt $A_q$ -weights $w$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{B}_{p,w}}$ be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators acting on the weighted Lebesgue space ${L^{p}(\mathbb{R}, w)}$ , where ${p \in (1, \infty)}$ and w is a Muckenhoupt weight. We study the Banach subalgebra ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ of ${\mathcal{B}_{p,w}}$ generated by all multiplication operators aI ( ${a \in PSO^{\diamond}}$ ) and all convolution operators W 0(b) ( ${b \in PSO_{p,w}^{\diamond}}$ ), where ${PSO^{\diamond} \subset L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R})}$ and ${PSO_{p,w}^{\diamond} \subset M_{p,w}}$ are algebras of piecewise slowly oscillating functions that admit piecewise slowly oscillating discontinuities at arbitrary points of ${\mathbb{R} \cup \{\infty\}}$ , and M p,w is the Banach algebra of Fourier multipliers on ${L^{p}(\mathbb{R}, w)}$ . Under some conditions on the Muckenhoupt weight w, we construct a Fredholm symbol calculus for the Banach algebra ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ and establish a Fredholm criterion for the operators ${A \in \mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ in terms of their Fredholm symbols. To study the Banach algebra ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ we apply the theory of Mellin pseudodifferential operators, the Allan–Douglas local principle, the two idempotents theorem and the method of limit operators. The paper is divided in two parts. The first part deals with the local study of ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ and necessary tools for studying local algebras.  相似文献

Let $\mathcal A $ be a semigroup of bounded linear operators on the Banach algebra $B(X)$ for a separable Banach space $X$ . We show the transitivity of $\mathcal A $ with the operator norm topology, implies hypercyclicity with the strong operator topology (SOT) while the converse may not be true. As a consequence, SOT-transitive semigroup of left multiplication operators on $B(X)$ is characterized.  相似文献

Applying the boundedness on weighted Lebesgue spaces of the maximal singular integral operator S * related to the Carleson?CHunt theorem on almost everywhere convergence, we study the boundedness and compactness of pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with non-regular symbols in ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R})), PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the weighted Lebesgue spaces ${L^p(\mathbb{R},w)}$ , with 1?< p <? ?? and ${w\in A_p(\mathbb{R})}$ . The Banach algebras ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ consist, respectively, of all bounded measurable or piecewise continuous ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded total variation, and the Banach algebra ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ consists of all Lipschitz ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions of exponent ${\gamma \in (0,1]}$ on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded variation on dyadic shells. Finally, for the Banach algebra ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ generated by all pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with symbols ${a(x, \lambda) \in PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the space ${L^p(\mathbb{R}, w)}$ , we construct a non-commutative Fredholm symbol calculus and give a Fredholm criterion for the operators ${A \in \mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ .  相似文献

A bounded linear operator is called multiplier with respect to Jacobi polynomials if and only if it commutes with all Jacobi translation operators on $[-1,1]$ . Multipliers on homogeneous Banach spaces on $[-1,1]$ determined by the Jacobi translation operator are introduced and studied. First we prove four equivalent characterizations of a multiplier for an arbitrary homogeneous Banach spaces $B$ on $[-1,1]$ . One of them implies the existence of an algebra isomorphism from the set of all multipliers on $B$ into the set of all pseudomeasures. Further, we study multipliers on specific examples of homogeneous Banach spaces on $[-1,1]$ . Amongst others, multipliers on the Wiener algebra, on the Beurling space and on Sobolev spaces are analyzed. We obtain that the multiplier spaces of the Wiener algebra, the Beurling space and of all Sobolev spaces are isometric isomorphic to each other. Furthermore, these multiplier spaces are all isometric isomorphic to the set of all pseudomeasures.  相似文献

Let $X$ and $ Z$ be Banach spaces, $A$ a closed subset of $X$ and a mapping $f:A\rightarrow Z$ . We give necessary and sufficient conditions to obtain a $C^1$ smooth mapping $F:X \rightarrow Z$ such that $F_{\mid _A}=f$ , when either (i) $X$ and $Z$ are Hilbert spaces and $X$ is separable, or (ii) $X^*$ is separable and $Z$ is an absolute Lipschitz retract, or (iii) $X=L_2$ and $Z=L_p$ with $1<p<2$ , or (iv) $X=L_p$ and $Z=L_2$ with $2<p<\infty $ , where $L_p$ is any separable Banach space $L_p(S,\Sigma ,\mu )$ with $(S,\Sigma ,\mu )$ a $\sigma $ -finite measure space.  相似文献

We prove that, for every $\alpha > -1$ , the pull-back measure $\varphi ({\mathcal A }_\alpha )$ of the measure $d{\mathcal A }_\alpha (z) = (\alpha + 1) (1 - |z|^2)^\alpha \, d{\mathcal A } (z)$ , where ${\mathcal A }$ is the normalized area measure on the unit disk $\mathbb D $ , by every analytic self-map $\varphi :\mathbb D \rightarrow \mathbb D $ is not only an $(\alpha \,{+}\, 2)$ -Carleson measure, but that the measure of the Carleson windows of size $\varepsilon h$ is controlled by $\varepsilon ^{\alpha + 2}$ times the measure of the corresponding window of size $h$ . This means that the property of being an $(\alpha + 2)$ -Carleson measure is true at all infinitesimal scales. We give an application by characterizing the compactness of composition operators on weighted Bergman–Orlicz spaces.  相似文献

We establish smoothness of the density of states for 1D lattice Schrödinger operators with potential taking values ${\pm\lambda}$ , for ${\lambda}$ in a class of small algebraic numbers and energy ${E \in\,) -2, 2(}$ suitably restricted away from ${\pm2}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{B}_{p,w}}$ be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators acting on the weighted Lebesgue space ${L^p(\mathbb{R},w)}$ , where ${p\in(1,\infty)}$ and w is a Muckenhoupt weight. We study the Banach subalgebra ${\mathfrak{U}_{p,w}}$ of ${\mathcal{B}_{p,w}}$ generated by all multiplication operators aI ( ${a\in PSO^\diamond}$ ) and all convolution operators W 0(b) ( ${b\in PSO_{p,w}^\diamond}$ ), where ${PSO^\diamond\subset L^\infty(\mathbb{R})}$ and ${PSO_{p,w}^\diamond\subset M_{p,w}}$ are algebras of piecewise slowly oscillating functions that admit piecewise slowly oscillating discontinuities at arbitrary points of ${\mathbb{R}\cup\{\infty\}}$ , and M p,w is the Banach algebra of Fourier multipliers on ${L^p(\mathbb{R},w)}$ . Under some conditions on the Muckenhoupt weight w, using results of the local study of ${\mathfrak{U}_{p,w}}$ obtained in the first part of the paper and applying the theory of Mellin pseudodifferential operators and the two idempotents theorem, we now construct a Fredholm symbol calculus for the Banach algebra ${\mathfrak{U}_{p,w}}$ and establish a Fredholm criterion for the operators ${A\in\mathfrak{U}_{p,w}}$ in terms of their Fredholm symbols. In four partial cases we obtain for ${\mathfrak{U}_{p,w}}$ more effective results.  相似文献

We propose a general concept of triplet of Hilbert spaces with closed embeddings, instead of continuous ones, and we show how rather general weighted $L^2$ spaces yield this kind of generalized triplets of Hilbert spaces for which the underlying spaces and operators can be explicitly calculated. Then we show that generalized triplets of Hilbert spaces with closed embeddings can be naturally associated to any pair of Dirichlet type spaces $\mathcal{D }_\alpha (\mathbb{D }^N)$ of holomorphic functions on the unit polydisc $\mathbb{D }^N$ and we explicitly calculate the associated operators in terms of reproducing kernels and radial derivative operators. We also point out a rigging of the Hardy space $H^2(\mathbb{D }^N)$ through a scale of Dirichlet type spaces and Bergman type spaces.  相似文献

Let $\mathcal X $ and $\mathcal Y $ be Banach spaces, and let $A\in \mathcal B (\mathcal X )$ and $C\in \mathcal B (\mathcal Y , \mathcal X )$ be given operators. A necessary and sufficient condition is given for $\left[ \begin{array}{cc} A&C \\ X&Y \\ \end{array} \right]$ to be invertible (respectively, left invertible) for some $X\in \mathcal B (\mathcal X , \mathcal Y )$ and $Y\in \mathcal B (\mathcal Y )$ . Furthermore, some related results are obtained.  相似文献

We will investigate the order boundedness of weighted composition operators ${uC_{\varphi}}$ from weighted Bergman spaces ${L_{a}^p(dA_{\alpha})}$ , weighted-type spaces ${H_{\alpha}^{\infty}}$ or Bloch-type spaces ${\mathcal{B}_{\alpha}}$ into the space ${L_{a}^q(dA_{\beta})}$ .  相似文献

We investigate spectral properties of operators of the form $$\begin{aligned} P_\mu f(z):=-\frac{1}{(1-z)^{\mu +1}}\int _1^z f(\zeta )(1-\zeta )^{\mu }\,d\zeta \end{aligned}$$ and $$\begin{aligned} Q_\mu f(z):=(1-z)^{\mu -1}\int _0^z f(\zeta )(1-\zeta )^{-\mu }\,d\zeta \quad (z\in \mathbb{D }) \end{aligned}$$ acting on the analytic Besov spaces $B_p$ and the little Bloch space $\mathcal B _0$ . For $X=B_p$ , $1\le p\le \infty $ , or $X=\mathcal B _0$ , we identify the spectra of $P_\mu $ and $Q_\mu $ in $\mathcal{L }(X)$ , as well as, in the case $X\ne B_\infty $ , the essential spectrum and index together with one sided analytic resolvents in the Fredholm regions of $P_\mu $ and $Q_\mu $ .  相似文献

We consider Banach algebras of infinite matrices defined in terms of a weight measuring the off-diagonal decay of the matrix entries. If a given matrix $A$ is invertible as an operator on $\ell ^2$ we analyze the decay of its inverse matrix entries in the case where the matrix algebra is not inverse closed in ${\mathcal B} (\ell ^2),$ the Banach algebra of bounded operators on $\ell ^2.$ To this end we consider a condition on sequences of weights which extends the notion of GRS-condition. Finally we focus on the behavior of inverses of pseudodifferential operators whose Weyl symbols belong to weighted modulation spaces and the weights lack the GRS condition.  相似文献

Associated with some properties of weighted composition operators on the spaces of bounded harmonic and analytic functions on the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ , we obtain conditions in terms of behavior of weight functions and analytic self-maps on the interior $\mathbb{D}$ and on the boundary $\partial \mathbb{D}$ respectively. We give direct proofs of the equivalence of these interior and boundary conditions. Furthermore we give another proof of the estimate for the essential norm of the difference of weighted composition operators.  相似文献

$C^1$ linearization is of special significance because it preserves smooth dynamical behaviors and distinguishes qualitative properties in characteristic directions. However, $C^1$ smoothness is not enough to guarantee $C^1$ linearization. For $C^{1,1}$ hyperbolic diffeomorphisms on Banach spaces $C^1$ linearization was proved under a gap condition together with a band condition of the spectrum. In this paper, the result of $C^1$ linearization in Banach spaces is strengthened to $C^{1,\beta }$ linearization with a constant $\beta >0$ under a weaker band condition by a decomposition with invariant foliations. The weaker band condition allows the spectrum to be a union of more than two but finitely many bands but restricts those bands to be bounded by a number depending on the supremum of contractive spectrum and the infimum of expansive spectrum. Furthermore, we give an estimate for the exponent $\beta $ and prove that the estimate is sharp in the planar case.  相似文献

We generalize the well-known Lax-Milgram theorem on the Hilbert space to that on the Banach space. Suppose that ${a(\cdot, \cdot)}$ is a continuous bilinear form on the product ${X\times Y}$ of Banach spaces X and Y, where Y is reflexive. If null spaces N X and N Y associated with ${a(\cdot, \cdot)}$ have complements in X and in Y, respectively, and if ${a(\cdot, \cdot)}$ satisfies certain variational inequalities both in X and in Y, then for every ${F \in N_Y^{\perp}}$ , i.e., ${F \in Y^{\ast}}$ with ${F(\phi) = 0}$ for all ${\phi \in N_Y}$ , there exists at least one ${u \in X}$ such that ${a(u, \varphi) = F(\varphi)}$ holds for all ${\varphi \in Y}$ with ${\|u\|_X \le C\|F\|_{Y^{\ast}}}$ . We apply our result to several existence theorems of L r -solutions to the elliptic system of boundary value problems appearing in the fluid mechanics.  相似文献

In this paper we study $p\rightarrow q$ -boundedness of the multi-dimensional Hardy type operators in the vanishing local generalized Morrey spaces $V\mathcal L ^{p,\varphi }_\mathrm{{loc}}(\mathbb R ^n,w)$ defined by an almost increasing function $\varphi (r)$ and radial type weight $w(|x|)$ . We obtain sufficient conditions, in terms of some integral inequalities imposed on $\varphi $ and $w$ , for such a boundedness. In the case where the function $\varphi (r)$ and the weight are power functions, these conditions are also necessary.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the notion of asymptotic spirallikeness in reflexive complex Banach spaces $X$ , and the connection with univalent subordination chains. Poreda initially introduced the notion of asymptotic starlikeness to characterize biholomorphic mappings on the unit polydisc in $\mathbb{C }^{n}$ which have parametric representation in the sense of Loewner theory. The authors introduced the notions of $A$ -asymptotic spirallikeness and $A$ -parametric representation on the Euclidean unit ball of $\mathbb{C }^{n}$ , where $A\in L(\mathbb{C }^{n})$ with $m(A)>0$ . They showed that these notions are equivalent whenever $k_+(A)<2m(A)$ . In this paper we prove that if $k_+(A)<2m(A)$ and $f\in S(B)$ has $A$ -parametric representation, then $f$ is also $A$ -asymptotically spirallike on the unit ball $B$ of $X$ . For the converse, we need the additional assumption that $f$ is a smooth $A$ -asymptotically spirallike mapping, except in the finite-dimensional case $X=\mathbb{C }^{n}$ with an arbitrary norm. The notion of asymptotic spirallikeness involves differential equations and may be regarded as giving a geometric characterization of certain domains in $X$ . That is one of the motivations for considering this notion in the case of reflexive complex Banach spaces.  相似文献
