In this paper higher order linear impulsive differential equations with fixed moments of impulses subject to linear boundary conditions are studied. Green's formula is defined for piecewise differentiable functions. Properties of Green's functions for higher order impulsive boundary value problems are introduced. An appropriate example of the Green's function for a boundary value problem is provided. Furthermore, eigenvalue problems and basic properties of eigensolutions are considered.  相似文献

In this work, we study Kirchhoff type problems on a bounded domain. We consider the cases where the nonlinearity is superlinear near zero but asymptotically 4-linear at infinity, and the nonlinearity is asymptotically linear near zero but 4-superlinear at infinity. By computing the relevant critical groups, we obtain nontrivial solutions via Morse theory.  相似文献

In this paper, we use the ordinary differential equation theory of Banach spaces and minimax theory, in particular, the local mountain pass lemma to study asymptotically linear and superlinear elliptic boundary value problems with a reaction term nonzero at zero, and get new multiple solutions and sign-changing solutions theorems. Moreover, the sign-changing solutions change sign exactly once under some conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of infinitely many classical solutions for a class of second-order impulsive differential equations. By using two new fountain theorems, we deal with two cases: that when the nonlinearity is superlinear and that when it is asymptotically linear at infinity. In various real-world applications, there is a necessity given to steer processes in time. More and more it becomes acknowledged in science and engineering, that these processes exhibit discontinuities. Our paper on theory of control (especially, optimal control) and on theory of dynamical systems gives a contribution to this natural or technical fact.One of the central results of our paper is the Pontryagin maximum principle [L.S. Pontryagin, V.G. Boltyanskii, R.V. Gamkrelidze, E.F. Mishchenko, The Mathematical Theory of Optimal Processes, Interscience Publishers, John Wiley, New York, 1962] which is considered in sufficient form for the linear case of impulsive differential equations. The problem of controllability of boundary-value problems for quasilinear impulsive system of integrodifferential equations is investigated. The control consists of a piecewise continuous function part as well as impulses which act at a variable time.By studying the optimal control of response, we give a first inclusion of an objective function. By this pioneering contribution, we invite to future research in the wide field of optimal control with impulses and in modern challenging applications.  相似文献

In this work, we consider an elliptic system of two equations in dimension one (with Neumann boundary conditions) where the nonlinearities are asymptotically linear at −∞ and superlinear at +∞. We obtain that, under suitable hypotheses, a solution exists for any couple of forcing terms in L2.We also present a similar result in which the superlinearity is in only one of the two equations, and we discuss the resonant problem too.  相似文献

In this paper, we derive some less stringent conditions for the exponential and asymptotic stability of impulsive control systems with impulses at fixed times. In this paper, we get the existence of periodic and homoclinic solutions for a class of asymptotically linear or sublinear Hamiltonian systems with impulsive conditions via variational methods. However, without impulses, there is no homoclinic or periodic solution for the system considered in this paper. Moreover, our results can be used to study the existence of periodic and homoclinic solutions of difference equations.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce an impulsive cellular neural network models with piecewise alternately advanced and retarded argument. The model with the advanced argument is system with strong anticipation. Some sufficient conditions are established for the existence and global exponential stability of a unique periodic solution. The approaches are based on employing Banach’s fixed point theorem and a new integral inequality of Gronwall type with impulses and deviating arguments. The criteria given are easily verifiable, possess many adjustable parameters, and depend on impulses and piecewise constant argument deviations, which provides flexibility for the design and analysis of cellular neural network models. Several numerical examples and simulations are also given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

The existence of solutions of periodic boundary value problems for second order impulsive integro-differential equations of Volterra type is investigated. By using the method of upper and lower solutions, it is proved that the problem in whi h impulses occur at fixed times has a solution. In this paper, we consider the impulsive stabilization problems for two kinds of 2nd-order linear delay differential equations. By the method of Lyapunov functionals, criteria on the exponential stabilization by impulses and exponential stabilization by periodical impulses are gained. The control effects of impulses are especially stressed in the definitions and results. Some examples are also given to show the applications of our results.  相似文献

In this article, we propose a new smoothing inexact Newton algorithm for solving nonlinear complementarity problems (NCP) base on the smoothed Fischer-Burmeister function. In each iteration, the corresponding linear system is solved only approximately. The global convergence and local superlinear convergence are established without strict complementarity assumption at the NCP solution. Preliminary numerical results indicate that the method is effective for large-scale NCP.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a fast primal-dual algorithm for solving bilaterally constrained total variation minimization problems which subsume the bilaterally constrained total variation image deblurring model and the two-phase piecewise constant Mumford-Shah image segmentation model. The presence of the bilateral constraints makes the optimality conditions of the primal-dual problem semi-smooth which can be solved by a semi-smooth Newton’s method superlinearly. But the linear system to solve at each iteration is very large and difficult to precondition. Using a primal-dual active-set strategy, we reduce the linear system to a much smaller and better structured one so that it can be solved efficiently by conjugate gradient with an approximate inverse preconditioner. Locally superlinear convergence results are derived for the proposed algorithm. Numerical experiments are also provided for both deblurring and segmentation problems. In particular, for the deblurring problem, we show that the addition of the bilateral constraints to the total variation model improves the quality of the solutions.  相似文献

In the present paper we investigate the existence of almost periodic processes of ecological systems which are presented with the general impulsive nonautonomous Lotka–Volterra system of integro-differential equations with infinite delay. The impulses are at fixed moments of time, and by using the techniques of piecewise continuous Lyapunov’s functions, new sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of the unique positive almost periodic solutions of these systems are given.  相似文献

In this paper, a single species system with linear/constant impulsive perturbations is established. The linear and constant impulses are realized at fixed moments of time. By using the comparison principle of impulsive differential equations and analysis techniques, sufficient conditions for the permanence of the system with linear and constant impulsive perturbations are obtained, respectively.
