The aim of this paper is to present a quantitative version of the Radon–Nikodým property and some other results related to it. This approach gives an extra insight to the classical results. We introduce two indexes: an index of representability of measures and an index of dentability. We review classic results in order to obtain relationships between these and other indexes.  相似文献

We apply results in operator space theory to the setting of multidimensional measure theory. Using the extended Haagerup tensor product of Effros and Ruan, we derive a Radon–Nikodým theorem for bimeasures and then extend the result to general Fréchet measures (scalar-valued polymeasures). We also prove a measure-theoretic Grothendieck inequality, provide a characterization of the injective tensor product of two spaces of Lebesgue integrable functions, and discuss the possibility of a bounded convergence theorem for Fréchet measures.  相似文献

We characterize the Banach spaces Y   for which certain subspaces of operators from L1(μ)L1(μ) into Y have the Bishop–Phelps–Bollobás property in terms of a geometric property of Y, namely AHSP. This characterization applies to the spaces of compact and weakly compact operators. New examples of Banach spaces Y with AHSP are provided. We also obtain that certain ideals of Asplund operators satisfy the Bishop–Phelps–Bollobás property.  相似文献

If we consider the moduli space of flat connections of a non trivial principal SO(3)-bundle over a surface, then we can define a map from the set of perturbed closed geodesics, below a given energy level, into families of perturbed Yang–Mills connections depending on a parameter ${\varepsilon}$ . In this paper we show that this map is a bijection and maps perturbed geodesics into perturbed Yang–Mills connections with the same Morse index.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new limiting form of the Radon–Nikodym property for the Bochner integral. We prove that the limiting form holds for an arbitrary Fr′echet space as opposed to an ordinary Radon–Nikodym property. We consider some applications in linear and nonlinear analysis.  相似文献

Let (Xd) be a metric space, Y be a nonempty subset of X, and let \(T:Y \rightarrow P(X)\) be a non-self multivalued mapping. In this paper, by a new technique we study the fixed point theory of multivalued mappings under the assumption of the existence of a bounded sequence \((x_n)_n\) in Y such that \(T^nx_n\subseteq Y,\) for each \(n \in \mathbb {N}\). Our main result generalizes fixed point theorems due to Matkowski (Diss. Math. 127, 1975), W?grzyk (Diss. Math. (Rozprawy Mat.) 201, 1982), Reich and Zaslavski (Fixed Point Theory 8:303–307, 2007), Petru?el et al. (Set-Valued Var. Anal. 23:223–237, 2015) and provides a solution to the problems posed in Petru?el et al. (Set-Valued Var. Anal. 23:223–237, 2015) and Rus and ?erban (Miskolc Math. Summary The index of a family of a family of Dirac operators is aK-Theory element in the parameter space. Sullivan's/k-manifolds are used to detect this index completely. We study the spectral polynomial of the Treibich–Verdier potential. Such spectral polynomial, which is a generalization of the classical Lamé polynomial, plays fundamental roles in both the finite-gap theory and the ODE theory of Heun's equation. In this paper, we prove that all the roots of such spectral polynomial are real and distinct under some assumptions. The proof uses the classical concept of Sturm sequence and isomonodromic theories. We also prove an analogous result for a polynomial associated with a generalized Lamé equation, where we apply a new approach based on the viewpoint of the monodromy data.  相似文献

A Danilov–Gizatullin surface is an affine surface V which is the complement of an ample section S for the ruling of a Hirzebruch surface. The remarkable theorem of Danilov and Gizatullin states that the isomorphism class of V depends only on the self-intersection number (S.S). In this paper we apply the theorem of Danilov–Gizatullin to prove that the Lie algebra generated by the complete algebraic vector fields on V coincides with the set of all algebraic vector fields of V.  相似文献

The Vlasov–Nordström–Fokker–Planck system describes the evolution of self-gravitating matter experiencing collisions with a fixed background of particles in the framework of a relativistic scalar theory of gravitation. We study the spatially-homogeneous system and prove global existence and uniqueness of solutions for the corresponding initial value problem in three momentum dimensions. Additionally, we study the long time asymptotic behavior of the system and prove that even in the absence of friction, solutions possess a non-trivial asymptotic profile. An exact formula for the long time limit of the particle density is derived in the ultra-relativistic case.  相似文献
