利用渐近方法和对角化技巧研究了伴有边界摄动的高维非线性系统边值问题的奇摄动，在适当的假设下，证得摄动问题解的存在并导出其解关于ε的高阶近似．     

On the Cauchy problem for a doubly nonlinear degenerate parabolic equation with strongly nonlinear sources

In this article, we consider the existence of local and global solution to the Cauchy problem of a doubly nonlinear equation. By introducing the norms |||_f||| _h and 〈f〉_h, we give the sufficient and necessary conditions on the initial value to the existence of local solution of doubly nonlinear equation. Moreover some results on the global existence and nonexistence of solutions are considered. This work was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 10531020)     

On well-posedness of semilinear parabolic and elliptic problems in the hyperbolic space

We investigate existence and uniqueness of solutions to semilinear parabolic and elliptic equations in bounded domains of the n-dimensional hyperbolic space (n?3). Lp→Lq estimates for the semigroup generated by the Laplace-Beltrami operator are obtained and then used to prove existence and uniqueness results for parabolic problems. Moreover, under proper assumptions on the nonlinear function, we establish uniqueness of positive classical solutions and nonuniqueness of singular solutions of the elliptic problem; furthermore, for the corresponding semilinear parabolic problem, nonuniqueness of weak solutions is stated.     

On the transfer matrix of a MIMO system

We develop a deterministic ab initio model for the input–output relationship of a multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) wireless channel, starting from the Maxwell equations combined with Ohm's law. The main technical tools are scattering and geometric perturbation theories. The derived relationship can lead us to a deep understanding of how the propagation conditions and the coupling effects between the elements of multiple‐element arrays affect the properties of an MIMO channel, e.g. its capacity and its number of degrees of freedom. A new proof of the existence of weak solutions to a model for phase evolution driven by material forces

We prove the existence of weak solutions to a one‐dimensional initial‐boundary value problem for a model system of partial differential equations, which consists of a sub‐system of linear elasticity and a nonlinear non‐uniformly parabolic equation of second order. To simplify the existence proof of weak solutions in the 2006 paper of Alber and Zhu, we replace the function in that work by . The qualitative analysis of a dynamical system of differential equations arising from the study of multilayer scales on pure metals II

We provide a qualitative analysis of the -dimensional dynamical system:

where is an arbitrary positive integer. Under mild algebraic conditions on the constant matrix , we show that every solution , , extends to a solution on , such that , for . Moreover, the difference between any two solutions approaches as . We then use this result to give a complete qualitative analysis of a 3-dimensional dynamical system introduced by F. Gesmundo and F. Viani in modeling parabolic growth of three-oxide scales on pure metals.

     

On the solution of elliptic partial differential equations on regions with corners II: Detailed analysis

In this paper we investigate the solution of boundary value problems on polygonal domains for elliptic partial differential equations. Previously, we observed that when the boundary value problems are formulated as boundary integral equations of classical potential theory, the solutions are representable by series of elementary functions, to arbitrary order, for all but finitely many values of the angles. Here, we extend this observation to all values of the angles. We show that the solutions near corners are representable, to arbitrary order, by linear combinations of certain non-integer powers and non-integer powers multiplied by logarithms.     

The influence of oscillations on global existence for a class of semi‐linear wave equations

The goal of this paper is to study the global existence of small data solutions to the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear wave equation In particular we are interested in statements for the 1D case. We will explain how the interplay between the increasing and oscillating behavior of the coefficient will influence global existence of small data solutions.
