We have calculated the one-neutron absorption cross-section and the longitudinal momentum distribution of the core fragment coming out from the breakup of 11Be and 19C on 9Be target at 63 MeV/A and 88 MeV/A beam energies respectively. The reaction mechanism is treated within the framework of the eikonal approximation. The effective range of the nuclear interaction between the core and the valence neutron within the projectile has been determined by comparing the predicted stripping cross-section with the recently measured one. The effective range for 19C has been found to be smaller than that for 11Be. It qualitatively indicates that 19C is slightly more halo than 11Be. The smaller width, predicted as well as measured, of the LMD of 18C than 10Be also strengthens this fact. The experimental data concerning the LMD of core fragments have been well represented.   相似文献

Experimental data on the momentum distributions of 4He nuclei originating from 6He and 6Li breakup on various targets are presented over a wide beam energy range. The experiment with 6He was performed at the DRIBs accelerator complex for radioactive beams at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna). The intensity of the 6He beam used was 5 × 106 particles per second and its energy was 10 MeV per nucleon. The momentum distributions of breakup products were measured by means of the MSP-144 magnetic spectrometer. The distribution width was shown to be virtually independent of the target mass. A small value of this width, σ ~ 28 MeV/c, confirms the presence of a halo in 6He. The measurements performed with 6Li beams of energy 18 and 46 MeV per nucleon at the U-400M accelerator yielded a width value of σ ~ 50 MeV/c for the momentum distributions of 4He nuclei, which is intermediate between that for 6He and those for stable nuclei. A compilation of the widths of the momentum distributions of fragments originating from the breakup of various nuclei is presented versus the binding energy of one or two neutrons in these nuclei, the target mass and the projectile energy.  相似文献

A theory is developed for describing the diffractive dissociation of loosely bound two-cluster nuclei in the nuclear and Coulomb fields of nuclei having a diffuse boundary. The energy spectra of charged products of the breakup of 2H, 6He, and 19C nuclei are calculated on the basis of the proposed approach, and the results are found to be rather sensitive to nuclear structure. For some angles of neutron and proton emission from the reaction 12C(d, np)12C, the calculated cross sections are in satisfactory agreement with the results of kinematically complete experiments performed recently to study the breakup of intermediate-energy deuterons.  相似文献

The ground state wave function of11Li obtained in a three-body model proposed earlier (S Kumar and V S Bhasin,Phys. Rev. C65, 034007 (2002)) has been employed to study the probability distributions, momentum distributions and n−n correlation. Complex scaling method has been used to find the energy positions and widths of the three resonant states of11Li above the breakup threshold. The formalism is extended further to study the β-decay of11Li to two channels. One is the β-transition of11Li into a high lying excited state of11Be at 18.3 MeV, i.e.,11Be* and the second is the decay to deuteron +9Li channel. The11Be* state has been considered as a halo analog state identified as a bound three-body (9Li + n + p) system. The n-9Li interaction incorporates both the virtual state and the p-wave resonance observed experimentally. For p-9Li interaction, a Coulomb corrected separable interaction is constructed using charge indepedendence for strong interaction part. The n-p interaction is operative only in3S1 state corresponding to the isotopic spin Th =0. As a result the11Be* state has the same isotopic spin as that of9Li core, i.e.,T = 3/2. Using these realistic parameters as input and without invoking any other free parameter, the model has been used to predict the strength of the Gamow-Teller β-decay of11Li to11Be*, i.e.,Bgt = 1.5 and the value of the branching ratio to9Li + deuteron channel to be 1.3 × 10-4. These results are found to be in rather good agreement with the recent experimental findings.  相似文献

We have compared the halo of 11Be, 15C, and 19C nuclei by analyzing the one-neutron stripping reaction data on the Be target at 60-, 54-, and 57-MeV/A beam energies, respectively, within the framework of the eikonal approximation approach. The determination of effective range through the comparison of the total cross section data and prediction has revealed that the halo of 19C is the well developed, while that of 15C is the least and that of 11Be lies in between these two. The longitudinal momentum distribution data also strengthen these observations. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

Inclusive spectra and differential cross sections of the 3H(d, 3He)nn reaction, measured at E d = 36.9 MeV are presented. The shape of 3He spectra was reconstructed by modeling amplitudes of the neutron-neutron final state interaction (Watson-Migdal amplitudes), sequential decay via the 4He* resonance (E* = 21.2 MeV, Γ = 0.7 MeV), and their interferences. The model allowed the determination of the angular dependence of the differential cross section of the 3H(d, 3He)nn reaction accompanied by singlet nn-pair production. The results are compared to the supermultiplet potential model of the lightest nuclei interaction.  相似文献

New data on the cross sections of reactions occurring during the interaction of 6He nuclei with 197Au at energies of 6He from 40 to 120 MeV are presented. The experiments were performed in the ACCULINNA secondary beam separator of the Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. To identify the reaction products, the activation method for measuring the gamma activity of the target assembly of thin foils was used. The excitation functions for fusion reactions involving the evaporation of up to ten neutrons from the compound nucleus as well as reactions with the emission of charged particles and nucleon transfer in the investigated energy region are obtained. Data analysis was carried out using two codes: ALICE-MP and NRV. The cross sections for the (6He, xn) reactions occurring through the compound nucleus are mostly in agreement with the results of model calculations based on the statistical approach. It is shown that, up to the energies of 114 MeV, the cross-section drop in the complete fusion reactions is negligible. The experimental excitation functions of reactions leading to the formation of isotopes of mercury and gold (transfer reaction) indicate that the main contribution to their formation is made by direct processes and that evaporation reactions (6He, pxn) and (6He, αxn) play a minor role, as is evidenced by a comparison of the measured cross sections with the calculation results.  相似文献

It is found that the scattering of the fragile nucleus 6Li from 12C and 16O is unexpectedly transparent. It is shown that the internal-wave contribution is significantly large in the scattering, which suggests that some transparency could persist in the scattering involving the fragile nucleus 6He.  相似文献

The results obtained by estimating the contribution of 8Be and 9B nuclei to the coherent dissociation of 10C, 10B, and 12C relativistic nuclei in nuclear track emulsions (“white” stars) are presented. The selection of white stars accompanied by 9B leads to a distinct peak appearing in the distribution of the excitation energy of 2α2p ensembles and having a maximum at 4.1 ± 0.3 MeV. A 8Be nucleus manifests itself in the coherent-dissociation reaction 10B → 2He + H with a probability of (25 ± 5)%, (14 ± 3)% of it being due to 9B decays. The ratio of the branching fractions of the 9B + n and 9Be + p mirror channels is estimated at 6 ± 1. An analysis of the relativistic dissociation of 12C nuclei in a nuclear track emulsion revealed nine 3α events corresponding to the Hoyle state.  相似文献

Excitation functions are measured for complete-fusion and transfer reactions induced by the interaction of 6He and 6Li with 206Pb, 209Bi, and Pt. Data obtained for fusion reactions induced by 6He ions deviate from the predictions of the statistical model of compound-nucleus decay at projectile energies in the vicinity of the Coulomb barrier height. A strong enhancement of cross sections for fusion reactions induced by the interaction of 6He with target nuclei is observed. The cross sections for reactions of cluster transfer, neutron transfer from 6He, and deuteron transfer from 6Li at deep-subbarrier energies are also found to be enhanced. These results are discussed from the point of view of the effect of the cluster structure of nuclei on the interaction probability at energies in the vicinity of the Coulomb barrier height.  相似文献

We have studied 12C in full kinematics via the 10B(3He,pααα) reaction at an energy of 2.45 MeV. In our data we have identified states in 12C from the ground state up to about 18 MeV, with spins ranging from 0 to 4. Due to the very good resolution, we are able to determine properties of these 12C resonances, such as their energy, width, and spin. In this contribution preliminary results from the ongoing analysis are presented. Main focus on the precise determination of the breakup spectra for all resonances.  相似文献

Full finite-range (FFR) distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) method has been applied to analyse the angular distributions of cross-sections of the 40Ca(6Li, d) 44Ti reaction at 28 MeV incident energy for the 22 transitions involving both the bound and unbound states of 44Ti by using the normal optical, Michel and molecular potentials. The extracted spectroscopic factors for the three optical potentials are compared with those of some previous studies of zero-range (ZR) calculations of the 40Ca(6Li, d) 44Ti reaction using the normal optical potential. The χ2 values of all the levels are obtained for the three optical potentials to estimate the quality of the fits. Molecular and Michel potentials have been used for the first time to analyse the four-nucleon transfer reaction and it seems that the molecular potential fits the experimental data more satisfactorily for some of the states than the normal optical and Michel potentials.  相似文献

The effect of polarization of the 6Li and 3H clusters on the parameters of states of the 7Li nucleus and on the cross section for the reaction 6Li(n,3H)4He was studied. The 4He + d + n three-cluster configuration was invoked for this purpose, and cluster dynamics was determined within a microscopic model where the relative motion of the clusters was described in terms of Faddeev amplitudes. The 4He + d + n three-cluster configuration made it possible to consider the 4He + 3H and 6Li + n binary channels, which are dominant in 7Li, and to take simultaneously into account the cluster polarization of 6Li as a two-cluster subsystemin the 4He + d representation and the cluster polarization of 3Has a two-cluster subsystem in the d + n representation.  相似文献

We use the relation between Structure Functions (SFs) of nuclei A and nucleons N in order to fomulate a criterion which isolates the QE part out of the total inclusive cross-section. From data points around the QEP we extract the reduced neutron magnetic form factor 〈α n = G M n/μ n G d〉. The latter shows an unexpected decrease up to Q 2 = 10GeV^2, the largest measured.  相似文献

We have extracted the B(E1) strength for the transition 1/2+ → 1/2 occurring in 11Be from the recent Coulomb excitation measurements using the nonrelativistic and intermediate-energy Coulomb-excitation (IECE) theory and have found that the results of IECE theory are in good agreement with the adopted value of B(E1). When the survival probability of the projectile is taken into account the agreement between the calculated and the adopted value of B(E1) strength improves further. We have also studied the effect of diffuseness parameter of survival probability on the B(E1) strength. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

Excited states of 68Ga have been investigated through the 55Mn(16O, 2pn) reaction at projectile energy 55 MeV. The level scheme has been extended up to 7.8 MeV. Altogether six new excited levels could be identified and twelve previously unobserved γ-transitions have been placed in the modified level scheme. Using objective physical criteria for data reliability, cross sections of partial photoneutron reactions (γ, 1n), (γ, 2n) and (γ, 3n) that are free of the shortcomings of neutron multiplicity sorting methods used on beams of quasimonoenergetic annihilation photons are obtained for 141Pr and 186W nuclei. Evaluation is performed using the experimental–theoretical method (ETM), based on the experimental cross section of neutron yield reaction σexp(γ, xn) = σexp(γ, 1n) + 2 σexp(γ, 2n) + 3 σexp(γ, 3n) + … and ratios F i theor= σtheor(γ, in)/σtheor(γ, xn) calculated within the combined model (CM) of photonuclear reactions, which stipulates that σeval(γ, in) = F i theor σexp(γ, xn). It is found that for 141Pr and 186W, ratios F exp i do not contradict the data reliability criteria only at energies up to ~21 and ~22 MeV, respectively. At the same time, there are notable discrepancies between F i theor and F exp i, and thus between the evaluated and experimental cross sections of reactions. It is shown that the discrepancies between the evaluated and experimental cross sections are due to the assumed unreliable experimental distribution of neutrons in the channels with multiplicities 1, 2, and 3.  相似文献

The work is aimed at experimental determination of the independent and cumulative yields of radioactive residual nuclei produced in intermediate-energy proton-irradiated thin targets made of highly isotopic enriched and natural lead (206,207,208,natPb) and 209Bi. 5972 radioactive product nuclide yields have been measured in 55 thin targets induced by 0.04, 0.07, 0.10, 0.15, 0.25, 0.6, 0.8, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 and 2.6 GeV protons extracted from the ITEP U-10 proton synchrotron. The measured data have been compared with data obtained at other laboratories as well as with theoretical simulations by seven codes. We found that the predictive power of the tested codes is different but is satisfactory for most of the nuclides in the spallation region, though none of the codes agree well with the data in the whole mass region of product nuclides and all should be improved further.   相似文献
