The38Ar levels at Ex=5350, 7289 and 9341 keV have been investigated using the35Cl(α,) reaction at Eα=l4 and 14.5 MeV. From particle-γ-ray angular correlations the spin assignments J(5350)=4, J(7289)=6,4 and J(9341)=8,6,4 have been obtained. Life-time measurements using the Doppler-shift attenuation method yielded τ(9341)=106±25 fs and τ(7289)=77±30 fs, while the lifetime τ(5350)=200±50 fs was known previously. All levels have positive parity and decay by enhanced E2 transitions. Hence we propose that they are the Jπ=4+, 6+ and 8+ members, respectively, of a Kπ=0+ rotational band which has the Ex=3377keV, Jπ=0+ and the 3937 keV, Jπ=2+ levels as further members. The enhancement of inband E2 transitions is 30 ?6 +10 W.u. (4→2), 35 ?14 +30 W.u. (6→4) and 20–36 W.u. (8 → 6), respectively, yielding an average intrinsic quadrupole moment Q0=850 ?125 +200 mb. The moment of inertia is given by h22θ=92 keV. The present data are in good agreement with the predictions of a deformed state in38Ar that coexists with the spherical states.  相似文献

In the48Ti(p, γ)49V reaction gamma decays of thirteen resonances betweenE p =960 and 1570 keV are investigated. Level energies within ±0.5–±2.0 keV andQ-value 6756.8±1.5 keV are obtained. Branching ratios for the resonance states and strongly populated bound states are given. Gamma-ray angular distribution measurements yield the followingJ(keV) assignments of49V bound and resonance states:J(1140)=5/2,J π(2235)=5/2(?),J(2264)=(3/2),J(2308)=3/2,J(3912)=3/2,J(8105,Ep=1374keV)=(1/2) andJ π(8289,E p =1564keV)=3/2(?). Multipolarity mixing ratios for all measured primary and secondary gamma rays are tabulated. Dopplershift attenuation measurements yield the mean lifetimes τ m (keV) of the following bound states in49V:τ m (748)=(200± 100 400 )fs, τ m (1140)=(250± 100 500 )fs, τ m (1155)>400 fs, τ m (1515)=(45± 20 30 )fs, τ m (1644)=(55± 20 30 )fs, τ m (1661)=(25±5)fs, τ m (1994)>400 fs, τ m (2235)=(30± 15 30 )fs, τ m (2264)=(45± 15 30 )fs and τ m (2308)=(20±10)fs.  相似文献

Theγ-decay of 9338Ar levels between 6.84 and 10 MeV excitation energy has been measured using the35Cl(α,) reaction atE α=14 MeV. A previous measurement of the same reaction could be exploited in the light of the present results, yielding spin(-parity) assignmentsJ π(7,070)=5-, J(7,507)=7,5,J π(8,077)=7+, J(8,129)=5,6 and J(8,488)=7,5. Theγ-decay modes of yrast levels, which have been previously observed in heavy ion induced reactions, are revised leading to major changes in their spin-parity assignments. New candidates for theJ π=8- and 9+ levels were found in the levels at 9,644 and 9,928 keV excitation energy, respectively. A comparison of yrast levels with shell-model calculations is satisfying.  相似文献

States in34Ar up to 5.5 MeV excitation energy, populated by the32S(3He,) reaction at 8–12 MeV bombarding energy, have been investigated with the Doppler shift attenuation method, angular correlation andnγγ triple coincidence measurements. For the states at 2.09, 3.29 and 4.52 MeV the lifetimes 200±60 fs, 130±60 fs and 260±80 fs have been found, respectively. The correlations yielded the spin assignmentsJ μ=(2+) for the level at 4.13 MeV andJ μ=3? for the 4.52 MeV state, and the mixing ratiosδ(3.29→2.09)=?0.12±0.05 andδ(4.13→3.29)=?0.52±0.15. The results are compared with shell model calculations and predictions from the weak coupling unified model.  相似文献

Co54m (T 1/2=1.43 min) was produced in iron-foils by irradiation withdE=19 MeV deuterons. The gamma ray spectrum was investigated using a NaJ(Tl) scintillation spectrometer, a coincidence circuit and a Ge(Li)-counter. There were observed three gamma rays having the following energies and intensities per Co54m decay: 411 keV (0.97±0.07), 1130keV (0.98±0.05), 1407 keV (1.00±0.05). The directional correlation between the pairs of gamma rays were determined. These results correspond to spin and parityJ π=2+ for the 1407 keV,J π=4+ for the 2537 keV, andJ π=6+ for the 2948 keV energy level of Fe54. The last-mentioned level was not excited in previous scattering experiments. Our results are compatible withE=210keV andJ π=6+ or 7+ of the isomeric state of Co54m .  相似文献

The radiative decayJ/ψ → γ π+ π? has been studied using the 8.6 millionJ/ψ produced in the DM2 experiment at the DCIe +e? storage rings at Orsay. The π+ π? mass spectrum shows a cleanf 2 (1270) signal, and the possible presence of two other states at thef 2 (1720) andf 4 (2030) masses. For thef 2 (1270), the branching ratio BR(J/ψ →γf)xBR(f→π+ π?) is measured to be (7.50±0.30±1.12)×10?4, and the spin analysis prefers theJ=2 assignment, with helicity parametersx=0.83±0.06 andy=0.01±0.06. Spin assignments have been made to the25Mg levels in theE x=5–6 MeV region fromγ-ray angular distributions measured in the22Ne(α, n y) reaction atE α=8.0 and 8.8 MeV and fromp-γ angular correlations measured in the24Mg(d, p γ) reaction atE d=6 MeV. Unique spin assignments ofJ=7/2, 5/2, 5/2, and 9/2 could be made to the levels atE x=5005, 5511, 5851, and 5967 keV, respectively. Ambigious assignments have been made to the levels atE x=5245, 5524, 5785, 6032 keV (J=11/2, 7/2), 5455 keVJ=13/2, 9/2), and 5738 keV (J=3/2, 5/2). The present data confirm previous assignments ofJ=1/2 to the levels atE x=5108 and 5466 keV, respectively. Lifetime estimates have been obtained, using the Doppler-shift attenuation method, for the levels atE x=5245 keV (τ=30–60 fs), 5785 keV (τ=50–100 fs), 5967 keV (τ=50–100 fs), and 5455 keV (τ>1ps). All other levels in theE x=5–6 MeV region haveτ<60 fs. A breakdown of theK-selection rule has been observed in theγ-decay of some high spin states, indicating a deviation from the strong coupling model.  相似文献

The nuclide141Eu is identified to have two beta decaying isomers,141g Eu and141m Eu, whose decay half-lives are measured to be 40.0±0.7 s and 3.3±0.3s, respectively. Their decay properties are studied by means of beta and gamma spectroscopy techniques. The states withJ π assignments in141Sm thus deduced are compared with those of the other odd-A, N=79 isotones. The total decay energy of141g Eu is measured to be 6.03±0.10 MeV, which is compared with the predictions of several mass formulae and with the decay energy systematics of theN=78 isotones. The141g Eu and141m Eu are deduced to haveJ π =5/2+ and 11/2?, respectively. A 96.4 keV isomeric transition between them is found to be anE3 transition with aB(E3)=1.6±0.4e 2fm6. The structure of141Eu is compared with that of the otherN = 78 isotones.  相似文献

Time-integral and time-differentialγ-γ directional correlation measurements were performed for cascades in168Er populated from the electron-capture decay of168Tm(87d). The168Tm source was dissolved in HF acid to minimize extranuclear perturbations. The results of the time-differential experiment for the 448-99.3 keV and 448-198 keV cascades showed agreement with time dependent interaction and gaveλ 2(1094)=(0.79±0.09) ×107 sec?1. The attenuation factors for the 80 keV level were determined asG 22 (80)=0.90±0.01 and G44(80)=0.94±0.01. OnlyI=4 spin value for the 1094 keV level is consistent with our measurements. The 632, 731, 741, and 816 keV transitions connecting theK=2+ andK = 0+ rotational bands were found to be of almost pureE2 character. The 99.3, 198, 547, 720, 830, and 1277 keV transitions are of practically pureE1 multipolarity. The 448 keVMl transition has (0.8 ?0.4 +2.0 )%E2 admixture. The results for the 1014?80keV cascade give (23±4)%E3 component in the 1014 keV transition.  相似文献

The level scheme of102Rh has been investigated by the102Ru(p, nγ) reaction in the proton energy range 3.1 MeV≦E p≦6 MeV. Excitation functions,γ-γ coincidences and pulsed beam measurements have been performed and a level scheme including 33 excited states up toE x≈650 keV has been constructed. Theγ-branchings of several levels have also been measured. The lifetimes of 5 excited states have been determined with the centroid-shift method:τ m(105.2 keV)=(1.3±0.3) ns,τ m(123.7 keV)=(0.6±0.3) ns,τ m(178.6 keV)=(1.5±0.3) ns,τ m(208.7 keV)=(0.5±0.3) ns,τ m(359.6 keV)=(0.8±0.4) ns. Upper limits have been placed for the lifetimes of 20 other levels.  相似文献

Mean lifetimes, excitation energies and branching ratios of 24Na states, populated in the 23Na(d, p)24Na reaction have been measured. Gamma-ray spectra were measured at three angles in coincidence with proton groups at θp = 169°. Mean lifetimes obtained from DSA are (excitation energy in keV, lifetime in fs): 563, > 1000; 1341, 95 ± 30; 1344, 38 ± 11; 1346, > 1500; 1512, 38 ± 11; 1846, 260 ± 50; 1885, 36 ± 9; 2513, 15 ± 7; 2563, < 25; 2904, 50 ± 15; 2978, < 25; 3216, 22 ± 8; 3372, 19 ± 5. For higher levels up to 4207 keV upper limits of 30 fs were set. In combination with earlier work the following unique spin(-parity) assignments could be made: Jπ(1846) = 2+, J(2513) = 3, Jπ(3745) = 3?. A new level at Ex = 3681.7 ± 0.6 keV is reported.  相似文献

The reactions π+ p→π++π+π-π-)p andppp+π+π-π-)p, where the (π+ π+ π- π-) system is centrally produced have been studied at 85 GeV/c. The π+π+π-π- mass spectrum shows evidence for thef 1 (1285) meson with a mass of 1278±2 MeV and width 41±12 MeV which decays mainly through ρ0(770)π+π-. Thef 1(1285) is also observed in the ηπ+π- channel. There is no significant evidence for ηππ or 4π decay modes of thef 1(1420). The ρ0ρ0 production is found to be small. A Dalitz plot analysis of the 3π system shows evidence fora 2 (1320) production and for a large contribution of theJ PC=1++ ρπ wave.  相似文献

New shell model calculations have predicted several high-spin (I π=5+ and 6+) levels in28Si near 10 MeV excitation energy which are missing from or ambiguous in existing experimental studies. Angular distributions, linear polarizations and Doppler-shifts ofγ-rays have been measured for theγ-decay of theE p=1,911 and 2,073 KeV resonances of the27Al(p, γ) reaction in an attempt to discover these missing states or confirm the discrepancies between experiment and theory. The excitation energies and spin-parities of the resonances were determined as 13,424.4±0.2 keV,I π=5+ and 13,582.3±0.5 keV,I π=6+. States populated in theγ-decay of these resonances were assigned spins and parities as follows: 11,777 keV,I π=5+; 11,331 keV,I π=6+; 10,417 keV,I π=5+; 9,417 keV,I π=4+ and 8,945 keV,I π=5+. On the basis ofγ-ray transition rates T=1 is assigned to the 13,424 keV level and T=0 to the 10,417 and 11,777 keV levels. With the new data excellent agreement is achieved between the experimental spectrum of28Si and the new shell model predictions. These data provide evidence for aK π=3+ rotational band comprised by the 6,276, 6,889, 8,945 and 11,331 keV levels. This band emerges also from the shell model wave functions as do theK π=0+ bands based on the ground state and the 6,691 keV state.  相似文献

The nucleus107In was studied by in-beam spectroscopic methods in (HI, xn yp) reactions. Spin and parity values of some levels were determined by conversion electron andγ-ray measurements. Using the generalized centroid shift method, the half-lives T1/2(19/2+, 2003.6 keV)=0.6±0.2 ns and T1/2(17/2+, 1853.4 keV)=1.7±0.3 ns were measured. By means of the generalized centroid-shift method, the following half-lives were determined:T 1/2(3045 keV)=3.7±0.3 ns in113Sb using the reaction104Pd(12C,p2n) as well asT 1/2 (1322.8 keV)=3.5±0.3 ns,T 1/2(2779.8 keV) =0.50±0.15ns,T 1/2(2874.9 keV)<0.2 ns andT 1/2(3072.9 keV)<0.1 ns in117Sb using the116In(α, 2n) reaction. Three-quasiparticle configurations of the type πd 5/2ν(h11/2 d 3/2) in113,117Sb are found to dominate in the wave functions of the 19/2? states at 3045 and 2780 keV in113Sb and117Sb, respectively. In the linearly polarized radiation field of a 442 nm He-Cd laser containing a natural isotope mixture, saturation-induced mode-crossing signals of the 4d 95s 2 2 5/2 state of Cd II are observed due to the even as well as the odd isotopes. The signal width of about 10?4 T yields high resolution. Thus the signal splitting respective to the magnetic quantum number can be resolved. Theg J - andg F -factors of the2 D 5/2 state are determined as follows:g J=1.1980±0.0036,g F(F=2)=1.397±0.008,g F(F=3)=1.002±0.009.  相似文献

States in203, 205Bi are populated using the reaction203, 205Tl(3He,3n). Theπi 13/2 single-proton states and all the members of thev(2 1 + )?π h 9/2 quintuplet are identified in both nuclei. The half-lives of the isomericJ π=21/2+ states in both isotopes are measured and found to be 90±7 ns and 100±6 ns, and from these values suggestions for the half-lives of the previously reportedJ π=25/2+ isomers are made. The structures of the multiplets of the formv(Pb)?π h 9/2 are calculated in the framework of the shell model and it is shown that the main features can be derived from theπ?v ?1 effective interaction. The wave functions of the 4 1 + and 4 0 + states in202, 204pb are deduced indirectly from the calculation in203, 205Bi.  相似文献

The reaction25Mg(p,γ)26Al has been investigated atE p (lab)=80-350keV. The existence of the resonance atE p =317keV has been verified and new resonances have been found atE p =198, 255 and 304 keV. TheE p = 304keV resonance represents a new compound state in26A1. Information on branching ratios,Ωγ values, total widths andJ π assignments for the observed resonances as well as upper limits on themy strengths for the expected resonances atE p =97 and 134 keV are given. The astrophysical aspects of the data are discussed in the light of the renewed interest in the precise location of26A1 nucleosynthesis.  相似文献

The reactionppp f (ηπ+π?)p s where the ηπ+π? system is centrally produced has been studied at 300 GeV/c incident momentum at the CERN Ω spectrometer. The ηπ± mass spectrum shows a strong δ/a 0(980) signal having a mass of 984±4 and Γ=95±14 MeV. The ηπ+π? mass spectrum shows η′ andf 1(1285) signals over little background. A spin-parity analysis of the ηπ+π? system shows evidence for aJ PC =1++ peak at thef 1(1285) mass but no evidence for the pseudoscalar states η(1270) andl/η(1440). No evidence is found for the ηππ decay of theE/f 1(1420) meson for which we set an upper limit BR(E/f 1(1420)→ηππ)<0.1 at 95% cl.  相似文献

Bombarding a85Rb target by 27 MeVα-particles the following half-lives of excited states in different nuclei have been determined by means of the generalized controid shift method: in87Y,T 1/2(2827.1 keV)=0.75±0.10 ns,T 1/2(2675.9 keV)=0.25±0.10 ns,T 1/2(3595.3 keV)=0.5±0.2 ns andT 1/2(2986.9, 3094.4 keV)<0.1 ns; in88Y,T 1/2(232.1 keV)=0.8±0.1 ns and in85Rb,T 1/2(151.2 keV)=0.6±0.1 ns. In87Y, the members of the doublet (vg 9 2/?2 )8+ (πp1/2) are identified. E2 transition rates 21/2+? 17/2+ in odd A≈ 90 nuclei are shown to represent essentially core transitions. Evidence for the existence of seniority-five configurations is found.  相似文献
