We present the preliminary results of measurement of atmospheric temperature and density at the E-region heights near Nizhny Novgorod in the 1990–1991 period (λ=56.15°N, ϕ=44.3°E). The monthly mean temperature and density are given in the height interval 100–110 km for September and October 1990. The temporal variations of temperature and density, associated with the propagation of acoustic-gravity and internal waves, are presented. The influence of natural turbulence on the measurement accuracy has been analyzed. The method is based on the generation of artificial periodic inhomogeneities (APIs) by a powerful radio wave and registration of the amplitudes of pulse probe radio waves backscattered by APIs. We present the results of studies of wave motions at lower-ionosphere altitudes by a new method based on measurements of the velocity of vertical motion of plasma by the variation of the phase of the signal that is backscattered from artificial periodic inhomogeneities of electron density (ionospheric arrays). The method allows us to study processes with different time scales and periods of from several dozens of seconds to some hours or longer. In the course of long-term 1990–1991 observations conducted near Nizhny Novgorod we determined some dynamic and spectral characteristics of internal gravity waves. The dependence of the characteristics of the macro- and microporosity on the condensation temperature has been studied for condensation temperatures from 30 to 450°C by small-angle x-ray scattering, hydrostatic weighing, and low-temperature desorption of argon in polycrystalline and single-crystal lead sulfide films with thickness 3–5 m condensed for normal incidence of the molecular beam on polycrystalline and single-crystal substrates. The porosity of the polycrystalline films is an order of magnitude greater than in the epitaxial films. In polycrystalline condensates, the pores are elongated and are oriented along the normal to the film. The pores in the epitaxial films have a platelet form with faces along the {100} planes and are parallel to the direction of growth of the condensate. At high substrate temperature (about 400°C), more nearly equiaxial pores, with additional {110} faces are formed, as a result of the plastic deformation of the condensate by thermal macrostresses.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 8, pp. 46–52, August, 1979.  相似文献

The energy spectrum and the angular correlation distributions for the reaction 12C(e, e'p)11B are calculated within the framework of DWBA using spherical Hartree-Fock wave functions. A comparison with experiment and some of the earlier calculations is made. It is observed that a large spatial extent of the wave functions significantly improves the agreement.  相似文献

We present the results of studying the sporadic layers of ionization in the lower ionosphere observed in the sunset-sunrise time during the summer months of 2000 and 2001. Measurements were performed at the Sura heating facility of the Radiophysical Research Institute (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia). Based on the analysis of the altitude-time dependences of the amplitude, relaxation time, and phase of the scattered signal, we obtain new data on the formation and dynamics of the evening and nighttime mid-latitude sporadic E layer, present the results of measuring the velocity of the plasma vertical motion, and estimate the relative molecular mass and total number density of metal ions whose pile-up due to the wind shear can cause the formation of the observed sporadic layers.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Radiofizika, Vol. 48, No. 1, pp. 16–32, January 2005.  相似文献

大气压空气电火花激波等离子体射流的电子密度在亚微秒时间尺度上瞬变,其电子密度的测定很难.基于微波瑞利散射原理,本文测量了空气电火花冲击波流注放电等离子体射流的时变电子密度.实验结果表明:测量系统的标定参数A为1.04 × 105 V·Ω·m–2;空气流注放电等离子体射流的电子密度与等离子体射流的半径和长度有关,结合高速放电影像展示的等离子体射流的等效半径和等效长度,测定的电子密度在1020 m–3的量级,且随时间先快速增长至峰值再成指数衰减.此外,本文还探讨了等离子体射流的不同等效尺度对测定结果的影响;分析结果表明,采用时变等效半径和时变等效长度的计算结果最有效,且第1个快速波峰是由光电离的电离波导致的.  相似文献

We study the single scattering of a plane electromagnetic wave by random inhomogeneities in a plane periodically nonuniform layer with a reflecting rear boundary. It is shown that when the incident wave satisfies the condition of excitation of the fundamental Bragg cavity mode and its field is large in the layer depth, the average angular spectrum of the backscattered wave field at the cavity output has a narrow maximum proportional to the exponent of the quadruple optical thickness of the periodic structure. This maximum corresponds to the condition of excitation of the fundamental Bragg cavity mode by the scattered field. The other spectral maxima have small amplitudes and intensities. Such scattering takes place if the characteristic size of random inhomogeneities in the direction perpendicular to the layer boundary exceeds the scale of multiple scattering on a periodic structure. Numerical simulation of radio energy transfer in the ionospheric layer with random small-scale irregularities for the case of a point ground-based source and total reflection has been carried out using a specially designed algorithm based on Monte Carlo method ideas. The model demonstrates a redistribution of the reflected radiation power at the Earth's surface caused by multiple scattering. The data obtained can serve as confirmation of the effect of the anomalous attenuation of the signal power in the vicinity of the sounder. This result is in agreement with a more rigorous theory of the anomalous attenuation effect based on the solution of the radiative transfer equation.  相似文献

We present a calculation of the electronic Raman cross section for the scattering of light across the energy gap of an antiferromagnetic insulator. The antiferromagnet is described in terms of a spin density wave state for the Hubbard model at half filling. We consider the coupling of the light to the current density and the inverse mass tensor on equal footing. A comparison of the cross section for different scattering geometries is given.  相似文献

We consider the flow being a superposition of random waves and describe the evolution of the spectrum of the passive scalar in the leading (fourth) order with respect to the wave amplitudes. We find that wave turbulence can produce an exponential growth of the passive scalar fluctuations when either both solenoidal and potential components are present in the flow or there are potential waves with the same frequencies but different wave numbers.  相似文献

Temporally integrated ultraviolet collective Thomson scattering measurements were performed with frequency-quadrupled Nd:YAG laser radiation on an underdense long-scalelength aluminum plasma (nc ~1021 cm-3, Z≈7, Te≈Ti ⩾50 eV, L⩾100 μm). The plasma was preformed by an Nd:YAG fundamental beam (1.06 μm) with focusable intensities of 10 11 W/cm2. Color images of two-dimensional (2-D) spatially resolved (30 μm) electron density and electron temperature were obtained.
