In this paper,we explore the properties of holographic entanglement entropy(HEE),mutual information(MI) and entanglement of purification(EoP) in holographic Lifshitz theory.These informational quantities exhibit some universal properties of holographic dual field theory.For most configuration parameters and temperatures,these informational quantities change monotonically with the Lifshitz dynamical critical exponent z.However,we also observe some non-monotonic behaviors for these informational quantities in some specific spaces of configuration parameters and temperatures.A particularly interesting phenomenon is that a dome-shaped diagram emerges in the behavior of MI vs z,and correspondingly a trapezoid-shaped profile appears in that of EoP vs z.This means that for some specific configuration parameters and temperatures,the system measured in terms of MI and EoP is entangled only in a certain intermediate range of z.  相似文献

We compute the axial anomaly of a Lifshitz fermion theory with anisotropic scaling z = 3 which is minimally coupled to geometry in 3+1 space‐time dimensions. We find that the result is identical to the relativistic case using path integral methods. An independent verification is provided by showing with spectral methods that the η‐invariant of the Dirac and Lifshitz fermion operators in three dimensions are equal. Thus, by the integrated form of the anomaly, the index of the Dirac operator still accounts for the possible breakdown of chiral symmetry in non‐relativistic theories of gravity. We apply this framework to the recently constructed gravitational instanton backgrounds of Hořava–Lifshitz theory and find that the index is non‐zero provided that the space‐time foliation admits leaves with harmonic spinors. Using Hitchin's construction of harmonic spinors on Berger spheres, we obtain explicit results for the index of the fermion operator on all such gravitational instanton backgrounds with SU(2) × U(1) isometry. In contrast to the instantons of Einstein gravity, chiral symmetry breaking becomes possible in the unimodular phase of Hořava–Lifshitz theory arising at λ = 1/3 provided that the volume of space is bounded from below by the ratio of the Ricci to Cotton tensor couplings raised to the third power. Some other aspects of the anomalies in non‐relativistic quantum field theories are also discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, we generalize the study of the model of holographic superconductors in excited states to the framework of massive gravity at the probe limit. By taking into account the effect of a massive graviton, we numerically present a family of solutions for holographic superconductors in excited states and find that the critical temperatures can be higher due to the effect of the massive graviton, in comparison with the superconductor in Einstein gravity. We also investigate the condensates and conductivities in the ground state and the excited states by studying various parameters that determine the framework of gravity background.  相似文献

We present analytic expressions for the gravitational potentials associated with triaxial ellipsoids, spheroids, spheres and disks in Weyl gravity. The gravitational potentials of these configurations in Newtonian gravity, i.e. the potentials derived by integration of the Poisson equation Green's function 1/|rr| over the volume of the configuration, are well known in the literature. Herein we present the results of the integration of |rr|, the Green's function associated with the fourth order Laplacian 4 of Weyl gravity, over the volume of the configuration to obtain the resulting gravitational potentials within this specific theory. As an application of our calculations, we solve analytically Euler's equations pertaining to incompressible rotating fluids to show that, as in the case of Newtonian gravity, homogeneous prolate configurations are not allowed within Weyl gravity either.  相似文献

We investigate non-trivial localized solutions of the condensate in a (2+12+1)-dimensional D-wave holographic superconductor model in the presence of a background magnetic field. The calculation is done in the context of the (3+13+1)-dimensional dual gravity theory of a charged massive spin-2 field in an AdS black hole background. By using numeric techniques, we find both vortex and droplet solutions. These solutions are important for studying the full phase diagram of D-wave superconductors.  相似文献

We introduce the strange quark mass to the Sakai–Sugimoto model of holographic QCD. We compute mass shifts in the spectra of three-flavor baryons at the leading order in perturbation in quark masses. Comparison with experimental data shows an agreement only qualitatively.  相似文献

The dynamics of the large‐scale structure of the universe enjoys at all scales, even in the highly non‐linear regime, a Lifshitz symmetry during the matter‐dominated period. In this paper we propose a general class of six‐dimensional spacetimes which could be a gravity dual to the four‐dimensional large‐scale structure of the universe. In this set‐up, the Lifshitz symmetry manifests itself as an isometry in the bulk and our universe is a four‐dimensional brane moving in such six‐dimensional bulk. After finding the correspondence between the bulk and the brane dynamical Lifshitz exponents, we find the intriguing result that the preferred value of the dynamical Lifshitz exponent of our observed universe, at both linear and non‐linear scales, corresponds to a fixed point of the RGE flow of the dynamical Lifshitz exponent in the dual system where the symmetry is enhanced to the Schrödinger group containing a non‐relativistic conformal symmetry. We also investigate the RGE flow between fixed points of the Lifshitz dynamical exponent in the bulk and observe that this flow is reflected in a growth rate of the large‐scale structure, which seems to be in qualitative agreement with what is observed in current data. Our set‐up might provide an interesting new arena for testing the ideas of holography and gravitational duals.  相似文献

In this paper, the so-cMled Husimi operator △h(q,p; κ), which is introduced by smoothing out the Wigner operator △ω(q,p) br averaging over the "coarse graining" function exp[-κ(q' - q)^2- (p'- p)^2/κ], is now regarded as a Weft correspondence connecting the Husimi operator △h(q, p; κ) with its classical correspondence, since the integration kernel is just the Wigner operator. In this way we can easily identify |p, q; κ ) such that △ h ( q, p; κ ) = |p, q;κ ) (P, q; κ|, where |P, q;κ) is a new kind of squeezed coherent states. The entangled Husimi operator is also treated in this way. Thus a simple way to tnd the Husimi operator is presented.  相似文献

By virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we present a new formulation of the Weyl quantization scheme in the coherent state representation, which not only brings convenience for calculating the Weyl correspondence of normally ordered operators, but also directly leads us to find both the coherent state representation and the Weyl ordering representation of the Wigner operator.  相似文献

最近,由于在铁基Ln(O,F)FeAs化合物及其相关化合物中发现具有高于40K的超导电性,层状的铁基化合物引起了凝聚态物理学界很大的兴趣和关注.在随后的研究中发现,在该类材料中最高超导临界温度可达到55K.这些重要的发现使得人们又重新对高温超导体的探索产生了极大的兴趣,并且为研究高温超导的机理提供了新的一类材料.文章主要介绍了作者所在组在新型铁基超导体方面的最新研究进展,包括:(1)铁基超导材料探索研究;(2)铁基超导体的单晶制备及物性研究;(3)铁基超导体的电子相图及自旋密度波(SDW)和超导共存研究;(4)同位素交换对超导转变和SDW转变的效应.最后,在已完成的工作基础上提出了一些今后的研究方向和发展前景.  相似文献

In this paper, we study peculiar properties of p‐wave superconductors in dilaton gravity. The scale invariance of the bulk geometry is effectively broken due to the existence of a dilaton. By coupling the dilaton to the non‐Abelian gauge field, i.e., ‐1/4 e‐β Φ FaμνFaμν, we find that the dissipative conductivity of the normal phase decreases and approaches zero at the zero frequency as β increases. Intuitively, the system behaves more and more like an insulator. When the hairy solution is turned on, the system crosses a critical point to the superconducting phase. We find that the critical chemical potential decreases with the increasing of β and the maximum height of the conductivity is suppressed gradually which are consistent with our intuition for insulator/supercondutor transition.  相似文献

The periastron position advance for geodesic motion in axially symmetric solutions of the Einstein field equations belonging to the Weyl class of vacuum solutions is investigated. Explicit examples corresponding to either static solutions (single Chazy-Curzon, Schwarzschild and a pair of them), or stationary solutions (single rotating Chazy-Curzon and Kerr black hole) are discussed. The results are then applied to the case of S2-SgrA* binary system of which the periastron position advance will be soon measured with a great accuracy.  相似文献

We apply a covariant and generic procedure to obtain explicit expressions of the transverse frames that a type I spacetime admits in terms of an arbitrary initial frame. We also present a simple and general algorithm to obtain the Weyl scalars 2T, 0T and 4T associated with these transverse frames. In both cases it is only necessary to choose a particular root of a cubic expression.  相似文献
