The attitude dynamics of the multi-spin spacecraft (MSSC) and the torque-free angular motion of the multi-rotor system are considered. Some types of homoclinic and general solutions are obtained in hyperbolic and elliptic functions. The local homoclinic chaos in the MSSC angular motion is investigated under the influence of polyharmonic perturbations. Some possible applications of the multi-rotor system are indicated, including gyrostat-satellites, dual-spin spacecraft, roll-walking robots, and also the inertialess method of the spacecraft attitude (angular) reorientation/control.  相似文献

A scheme to stabilize nonlinear time-varying systems with both matched and mismatched uncertainties is proposed in this paper by switching between two control laws: a first-order sliding-mode control and a second-order sliding-mode control. Based on this idea, a variable structure control algorithm is designed for a class of second-order systems. The closed-loop system is globally or locally asymptotically stable. It has been proven that the stability region has relation with the order of the boundary function and the region can be obtained by solving an inequality. The uncertainty considered in this work is also more general than those in the existing works.  相似文献

We investigate the Cauchy problems of Euler equations coupled with chemical reaction equation. The specific heat and adiabatic parameters of compressible fluid are introduced as functions with respect to reactant mass fraction in this paper. By means of fractional step wave-front tracking scheme, we derive the existence of global BV solution, and verify that it is indeed an entropy weak solution. This system is also regarded as balance law with resonant characteristic fields. Hence some decay condition is imposed on the source term, in order to handle the damping effect.  相似文献

This work presents a boundary layer analysis about variable viscosity effects on the double-diffusive convection near a vertical truncated cone in a fluid-saturated porous medium with constant wall temperature and concentration. The viscosity of the fluid is assumed to be an inverse linear function of the temperature. A boundary layer analysis is employed to derive the nondimensional nonsimilar governing equations, and the transformed boundary layer governing equations are solved by the cubic spline collocation method to yield computationally efficient numerical solutions. The obtained results are found to be in good agreement with previous papers on special cases of the problem. Results for local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are presented as functions of viscosity-variation parameter, buoyancy ratio, and Lewis number. For a porous medium saturated with a Newtonian fluid with viscosity proportional to an inverse linear function of temperature, higher value of viscosity-variation parameter leads to the decrease of the viscosity in fluid flow, thus increasing the fluid velocity as well as the local Nusselt number and the local Sherwood number.  相似文献

A delayed predator–prey system with Holling type II functional response and stage structure for both the predator and the prey is investigated. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of each feasible equilibrium of the system is discussed, and the existence of a Hopf bifurcation at the coexistence equilibrium is established. By means of the persistence theory for infinite dimensional systems, it is proven that the system is permanent if the coexistence equilibrium exists. By using suitable Lyapunov functions and the LaSalle invariant principle, it is shown that the trivial equilibrium is globally stable when both the predator–extinction equilibrium and the coexistence equilibrium do not exist, and that the predator–extinction equilibrium is globally stable when the coexistence equilibrium does not exist. Further, sufficient conditions are obtained for the global stability of the coexistence equilibrium. Numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the main theoretical results. This paper deals with the field enhancement due to insertion of a bow-tie structure of perfectly conducting inclusions into the two-dimensional space with a given field. The field enhancement is represented by the gradient blow-up of a solution to the conductivity problem. The bow-tie structure consists of two disjoint bounded domains which have corners with possibly different aperture angles. The domains are parts of cones near the vertices which are nearly touching to each other. We construct functions explicitly which characterize the field enhancement. As consequences, we derive optimal estimates of the gradient in terms of the distance between two inclusions and aperture angles of the corners. The estimates show in quantitatively precise way that the field is enhanced beyond the corner singularities due to the interaction between two inclusions, and the blow-up rate is much higher than the one for the case of inclusions with smooth boundaries.  相似文献

This work is a continuation of our previous work [Z.-Q. Shao, D.-X. Kong, Y.-C. Li, Shock reflection for general quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws, Nonlinear Anal. TMA 66 (1) (2007) 93-124]. In this paper, we study the global structure instability of the Riemann solution containing shocks, at least one rarefaction wave for general n×n quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws in the presence of a boundary. We prove the nonexistence of global piecewise C1 solution to a class of the mixed initial-boundary value problem for general n×n quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws on the quarter plane. Our result indicates that this kind of Riemann solution mentioned above for general n×n quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws in the presence of a boundary is globally structurally unstable. Some applications to quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws arising from physics and mechanics are also given.  相似文献

The possibility of using the finite-element method for investigating two-dimensional problems on natural vibrations in the mechanics of composite materials with curved structures is considered. With the example of a hinge-supported strip made of a composite material with a locally curved structure, the influence of geometrical and mechanical parameters of the strip on its eigenfrequencies is examined. This paper describes a prey-predator model with stage structure for prey. The adult prey and predator populations are harvested in the proposed system. The dynamic behavior of the model system is discussed. It is observed that singularity induced bifurcation phenomenon is appeared when variation of the economic interest of harvesting is taken into account. State feedback controller is incorporated to stabilize the model system in case of positive economic interest. Harvesting of prey and predator population are used as controls to develop a dynamic framework to investigate the optimal utilization of the resource, sustainability properties of the stock and the resource rent earned from the resource. The Pontryagin’s maximum principle is used to characterize the optimal controls. The optimality system is derived and then solved numerically using an iterative method with Runge-Kutta fourth order scheme. Simulation results show that the optimal control scheme can achieve sustainable ecosystem.  相似文献

We study the distribution of tax payments in the model of Kyprianou and Zhou [Kyprianou, A.E., Zhou, X., 2009. General tax structures and the Lévy insurance risk model. J. Appl. Probab. (in press)], that is a Lévy insurance risk model with a surplus-dependent tax rate. More precisely, after a short discussion on the so-called tax identity, we derive a recursive formula for arbitrary moments of the discounted tax payments until ruin and we identify the distribution of the tax payments when there is no force of interest.  相似文献
