An interactive satisficing method based on alternative tolerance is proposed for fuzzy multiple objective optimization. The new tolerances of the dissatisficing objectives are generated using an auxiliary programming problem. According to the alternative tolerant limits, either the membership functions are changed, or the objective constraints are added. The lexicographic two-phase programming is implemented to find the final solution. The results of the dissatisficing objectives are iteratively improved. The presented method not only acquires the efficient or weak efficient solution of all the objectives, but also satisfies the progressive preference of decision maker. Numerical examples show its power.  相似文献

For decision making problems involving uncertainty, both stochastic programming as an optimization method based on the theory of probability and fuzzy programming representing the ambiguity by fuzzy concept have been developing in various ways. In this paper, we focus on multiobjective linear programming problems with random variable coefficients in objective functions and/or constraints. For such problems, as a fusion of these two approaches, after incorporating fuzzy goals of the decision maker for the objective functions, we propose an interactive fuzzy satisficing method for the expectation model to derive a satisficing solution for the decision maker. An illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, by considering the experts' vague or fuzzy understanding of the nature of the parameters in the problem formulation process, multiobjective linear fractional programming problems with block angular structure involving fuzzy numbers are formulated. Using the a-level sets of fuzzy numbers, the corresponding nonfuzzy a-multiobjective linear fractional programming problem is introduced. The fuzzy goals of the decision maker for the objective functions are quantified by eliciting the corresponding membership functions including nonlinear ones. Through the introduction of extended Pareto optimality concepts, if the decision maker specifies the degree a and the reference membership values, the corresponding extended Pareto optimal solution can be obtained by solving the minimax problems for which the Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition method and Ritter's partitioning procedure are applicable. Then a linear programming-based interactive fuzzy satisficing method with decomposition procedures for deriving a satisficing solution for the decision maker efficiently from an extended Pareto optimal solution set is presented. An illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper considers multiobjective integer programming problems where each coefficient of the objective functions is expressed by a random fuzzy variable. A new decision making model is proposed by incorporating the concept of probability maximization into a possibilistic programming model. For solving transformed deterministic problems, genetic algorithms with double strings for nonlinear integer programming problems are introduced. An interactive fuzzy satisficing method is presented for deriving a satisficing solution to a decision maker by updating the reference probability levels. An illustrative numerical example is provided to clarify the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper proposes linear goal programming models for deriving intuitionistic fuzzy weights from intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations. Novel definitions are put forward to define additive consistency and weak transitivity for intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations, followed by a study of their corresponding properties. For any given normalized intuitionistic fuzzy weight vector, a transformation formula is furnished to convert the weights into a consistent intuitionistic fuzzy preference relation. For any intuitionistic fuzzy preference relation, a linear goal programming model is developed to obtain its intuitionistic fuzzy weights by minimizing its deviation from the converted consistent intuitionistic fuzzy preference relation. This approach is then extended to group decision-making situations. Three numerical examples are provided to illustrate the validity and applicability of the proposed models.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a solid transportation problem with interval cost using fractional goal programming approach (FGP). In real life applications of the FGP problem with multiple objectives, it is difficult for the decision-maker(s) to determine the goal value of each objective precisely as the goal values are imprecise, vague, or uncertain. Therefore, a fuzzy goal programming model is developed for this purpose. The proposed model presents an application of fuzzy goal programming to the solid transportation problem. Also, we use a special type of non-linear (hyperbolic) membership functions to solve multi-objective transportation problem. It gives an optimal compromise solution. To express uncertain information in decision making, triangular fuzzy reciprocal preference relations (TFRPRs) might be adopted by decision makers. Considering consistency of this type of preference relations, this paper defines a new additive consistency concept, which can be seen as an extension of that for reciprocal preference relations. Then, a simple method to calculate the triangular fuzzy priority weight vector is introduced. When TFRPRs are inconsistent, a linear goal programming framework to derive the completely additive consistent TFRPRs is provided. Meanwhile, an improved linear goal programming model is constructed to estimate the missing values in an incomplete TFRPR that can address the situation where ignored objects exist. After that, an algorithm for decision making with TFRPRs is presented. Finally, numerical examples and comparison analysis are offered.  相似文献

Manpower scheduling is an intricate problem in production and service environments with the purpose of generating fair schedules that consider employers’ objectives and employees’ preferences as much as possible. However, sometimes, vagueness of information related to employers’ objectives and employees’ preferences leads to the fuzzy nature of the problem. This paper presents a multi-objective manpower scheduling model regarding the lack of clarity on the target values of employers’ objectives and employees’ preferences. Hence, a fuzzy goal programming model is developed for the presented model. Afterwards, two fuzzy solution approaches are used to convert the fuzzy goal programming model to two single-objective models. Finally, the results obtained by both single-objective models are compared with each other to select the solution that has the greatest degree of the satisfaction level of employers’ objectives and employees’ preferences.  相似文献

Goal programming is an important technique for solving many decision/management problems. Fuzzy goal programming involves applying the fuzzy set theory to goal programming, thus allowing the model to take into account the vague aspirations of a decision-maker. Using preference-based membership functions, we can define the fuzzy problem through natural language terms or vague phenomena. In fact, decision-making involves the achievement of fuzzy goals, some of them are met and some not because these goals are subject to the function of environment/resource constraints. Thus, binary fuzzy goal programming is employed where the problem cannot be solved by conventional goal programming approaches. This paper proposes a new idea of how to program the binary fuzzy goal programming model. The binary fuzzy goal programming model can then be solved using the integer programming method. Finally, an illustrative example is included to demonstrate the correctness and usefulness of the proposed model.  相似文献

This paper describes the use of preemptive priority based fuzzy goal programming method to fuzzy multiobjective fractional decision making problems under the framework of multistage dynamic programming. In the proposed approach, the membership functions for the defined objective goals with fuzzy aspiration levels are determined first without linearizing the fractional objectives which may have linear or nonlinear forms. Then the problem is solved recursively for achievement of the highest membership value (unity) by using priority based goal programming methodology at each decision stages and thereby identifying the optimal decision in the present decision making arena. In this paper, we focus on multiobjective nonconvex nonlinear programming problems and present an interactive fuzzy satisficing method through floating point genetic algorithms. After determining the fuzzy goals of the decision maker, if the decision maker specifies the reference membership values, the corresponding Pareto optimal solution can be obtained by solving the augmented minimax problems for which the floating point genetic algorithm, called GENOCOP III, is applicable. In order to overcome the drawbacks of GENOCOP III, we propose the revised GENOCOP III by introducing a method for generating an initial feasible point and a bisection method for generating a new feasible point efficiently. Then an interactive fuzzy satisficing method for deriving a satisficing solution for the decision maker efficiently from a Pareto optimal solution set is presented together with an illustrative numerical example.  相似文献

This paper concerns a real-life problem of loading and scheduling a batch-processing machine. The integrated loading and scheduling problem is stated as a multicriteria optimization problem where different types of objectives are included: (1) short-term objectives of relevance to the shop floor, such as throughput maximization and work-in-process inventory minimization, and (2) long-term objectives such as balancing of end product inventory levels and meeting financial targets imposed by the higher production planning level. Two types of uncertainty are considered: (1) uncertainty inherent in loading and scheduling objective targets (goals) such as the allocated budget and end product demand, and (2) uncertainty in importance relations among the objectives. These two types of uncertainty are modelled using fuzzy sets and fuzzy relations, respectively. A fuzzy goal programming model and the corresponding method are developed which handle both fuzzy and crisp goals and fuzzy importance relations among the goals. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed model.  相似文献

In choosing the best alternative with respect to multiple criteria, one approach is to estimate the criterion weights that influence the preferences of all the alternatives presented. When decision makers are able to make preference judgements based on the alternative as a whole, preference decomposition methods attempt to determine part-worths which represent the contribution of the criterion levels to the overall preference values. For each alternative, the sum of the part-worths estimates its overall preference value. In this work, we use linear goal programming to determine the part-worths of all the criterion levels. Simulation experiments are conducted to compare the performances of linear goal programming and ordinary least squares regression in preference decomposition and to examine the effectiveness of including constraints on the parameters. Our simulated results suggest that the linear goal programming model with constrained parameters has better predictive power.  相似文献
