In this paper we study the existence of global attractors for multivalued dynamical systems. These theorems are then applied to dynamical systems generated by differential inclusions for which the solution is not unique for a given initial state. In this paper we define multivalued semiprocesses and give theorems providing the existence of global attractors for such systems. This theory generalizes the construction of nonautonomous dynamical systems given by V. V. Chepyzhov and M. I. Vishik to the case where the system is not supposed to have a unique solution for each initial state. Further, we apply these theorems to nonautonomous differential inclusions of reaction–diffusion type.  相似文献

Understanding the structure of attractors is fundamental in nonautonomous stability and bifurcation theory. By means of clarifying theorems and carefully designed examples we highlight the potential complexity of attractors for nonautonomous differential equations that are as close to autonomous equations as possible. We introduce and study bounded uniform attractors and repellors for nonautonomous scalar differential equations, in particular for asymptotically autonomous, polynomial, and periodic equations. Our results suggest that uniformly attracting or repelling solutions are the true analogues of attracting or repelling fixed points of autonomous systems. We provide sharp conditions for the autonomous structure to break up and give way to a bewildering diversity of nonautonomous bifurcations.  相似文献

This paper investigates the pullback asymptotic behaviors for the non-autonomous micropolar fluid flows in 2D bounded domains. We use the energy method, combining with some important properties of the generated processes, to prove the existence of pullback exponential attractors and global pullback attractors and show that they both with finite fractal dimension. Further, we give the relationship between global pullback attractors and pullback exponential attractors.  相似文献

The algebraic structure of the attractors in a dynamical system determines much of its global dynamics. The collection of all attractors has a natural lattice structure, and this structure can be detected through attracting neighborhoods, which can in principle be computed. Indeed, there has been much recent work on developing and implementing general computational algorithms for global dynamics, which are capable of computing attracting neighborhoods efficiently. Here we address the question of whether all of the algebraic structure of attractors can be captured by these methods.  相似文献

We prove a theorem stating that the uniform attractors of a family of semiprocesses that do not necessarily have a common time semigroup depend on the parameter uppersemicontinuously. We consider an explicit finite-difference scheme for a nonautonomous system of ordinary differential equations and an explicit spectral-difference scheme for the vorticity equation with time-dependent bounded right-hand side on a sphere. We obtain theorems on the existence of uniform attractors of numerical schemes and their closeness to true attractors of the original differential problems.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the global attractors for a new partially damped porous-elasticity system by taking a truncated version which is free of blow-up on second wave speed. We establish the global well-posedness of the system via Faedo–Galerkin method. By considering only one damping term acting on the volume fraction in the system we prove the existence of absorbing set for the solution semigroup regardless any relationship between coefficients of the system. Finally, by using Lyapunov and recent quasi-stability methods we prove the existence of smooth global attractors with finite fractal dimension.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the asymptotic behavior of solutions for the partly dissipative lattice dynamical systems in weighted spaces. We first establish the dynamic systems on infinite lattice, and then prove the existence of the global attractor in weighted spaces by the asymptotic compactness of the solutions. It is shown that the global attractors contain traveling waves. The upper semicontinuity of the global attractor is also considered by finite-dimensional approximations of attractors for the lattice systems.  相似文献

In this paper we give a detailed study of the global attractors for parabolic equations governed by the p-Laplacian in a heterogeneous medium. Not only the existence but also the infinite dimensionality of the global attractors is presented by showing that their ε-Kolmogorov entropy behaves as a polynomial of the variable 1/ε as ε tends to zero, which is not observed for non-degenerate parabolic equations. The upper and lower bounds for the Kolmogorov ε-entropy of infinite-dimensional attractors are also obtained.  相似文献

Sufficient conditions for existence of minimal uniform trajectory attractors and uniform global attractors of non-autonomous evolution equations in Banach spaces are obtained. It is not assumed that the symbol space of an equation is a compact metric space and that the family of trajectory spaces corresponding to this symbol space is translation-coordinated or closed in any sense. Using these results, existence of minimal uniform trajectory attractors and uniform global attractors for weak solutions of the boundary value problem for motion equations of an incompressible viscoelastic medium with the Jeffreys constitutive law is shown.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a detailed study of the global attractors for porous medium equations in a heterogeneous medium. Not only the existence but also the infinite dimensionality of the global attractors is obtained by showing that their ?‐Kolmogorov entropy behaves as a polynomial of the variable 1 ∕ ? as ? tends to zero, which is not observed for non‐degenerate parabolic equations. The upper and lower bounds for the Kolmogorov ?‐entropy of infinite‐dimensional attractors are also obtained. This current study deals with the long-time dynamics of a nonlinear system of coupled parabolic equations with memory. The system describes the thermodiffusion phenomenon where the fluxes of mass diffusion and heat depend on the past history of the chemical potential and the temperature gradients, respectively, according to Gurtin-Pipkin's law. Inspired by the works of Chueshov and Lasiecka on the property of quasi-stability of dynamic systems, we prove this property for the problem considered in this study. This property allows us to analyze certain properties of global and exponential attractors in a more efficient and practical way. This approach is applied for the first time for coupled parabolic equations. We analyze the continuity of global attractors with respect to a pair of parameters in a residual dense set and their upper semicontinuity in a complete metric space. Finally, we analyze the upper semicontinuity of global attractors with respect to small perturbations of the damping terms.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to demonstrate how the approximating topological method can be effectively combined with the theory of attractors of trajectory spaces in problems of fluid mechanics. First we give an exposition of the theory. Then we consider the model of motion of weak aqueous polymer solutions and prove that it has the minimal trajectory attractor and the global one. Finally we prove that the attractors of approximating problem converge to the attractors of the unperturbed one.  相似文献
