The mixing angles of meson isosinglets belonging to the 24-dimensional and singlet representations of SU(5) are calculated under specific assumptions in the non-relativistic quark model. In order to describe Kaon-Nucleon scattering data, the mixing of scalar meson σ_0 and σ_8 must be introduced in the chiral SU(3) quark model. Inspired by this, now the mixing of scalar meson is further considered to study some interesting dibaryons in the chiral SU(3) quark model. The results show that the mixing of scalar meson has different effects on these dibaryons.  相似文献

Sum rules for the coupling constants for D (20), B (20′) and P (16) are given taking into account first order breaking of SU (4) and SU (3) symmetries. The D (20) and B (20′) contain the usual 3/2+ baryon decuplet and 1/2+ baryon octet of SU (3), while the P (16) contains the usual pseudoscalar octet of pions, etc. These sum rules generalize the decuplet → octet + octet sum rules of broken SU (3 to a broken SU (4) symmetry scheme, in particular the charm SU (4) for hadrons. It is pointed out that, of the many sum rules, it may be possible to check some of them experimentally (see Section 5) and thus provide a test for an underlying SU (4 symmetry for strong interactions.  相似文献

We obtain mass spectra of the light and heavy meson-antimeson(molecular states) sectors by using a nonrelativistic potential model with Coulomb and one pion exchange potential terms for meson-meson interaction.The digamma decay widths are also obtained for the light sector.We compare our results with available experimental and theoretical data.  相似文献

In a non-relativistic quark model, by parametrizing the quark-antiquark potentials, some mass relations have been obtained. Algebraic expressions for the masses of higher flavour meson isosinglets have been given in terms of the meson masses of lower symmetries. Hallock and Oneda’s contention of two types of sumrules for nonet mesons in SU(3) has been examined and the possibilities of such different sum-rules of this type in SU(4) and SU(5) have been explored.  相似文献

The meson masses are considered to retain total relativistic effects for spinors instead of Fermi-Breit approximation. This necessitates a diagonalization approach instead of solutions of differential equations. Correction over Fermi-Breit form appears to be significant. For heavy quark systems agreement with experiment is found. The method will be quite useful if the quark-antiquark dynamics becomes sufficiently known.  相似文献

We report the progress on understanding some of those existing puzzles in charmonium decays.We show that the intermediate meson loops (IML) as a long-distance transition mechanism will provide novel insights into these issues.In particular,we show that the IML mechanism would be essentially important for understanding the ψ(3770) non-DD decays.We also comment that such a mechanism is correlated with the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka (OZI) rule evasions in charmonium hadronic decays.  相似文献

We have developed an analytic continuation method for extracting parameters of nucleon resonances within a Hamiltonian formulation of meson-nucleon reactions. The method was tested for simple solvable models and then applied for our recent coupled channels model (πN, ηN, π△, ρN, and σN ) of the πN and γ~*N reactions. The resonance pole positions and their properties are studied for P_(33) and P_(11) channels.  相似文献

We calculate the physical mass and the width of the sigma meson by considering that it couples in vacuum to two virtual pions. The mass is calculated by using the spectral function, and we find that it is about 600 MeV. In addition, we obtained 220 MeV as the value for the width of its spectral function. The value obtained for the mass is in good agreement with that reported in the Particle Data Book for the σ-meson, which is also named f 0 (600). This result also shows that σ-meson can be considered as a two-pion resonance.   相似文献

With sufficiently light u and d quarks the isovector (a0) and isosinglet (f0) scalar meson propagators are dominated at large distances by two-meson states. In the staggered fermion formulation of lattice QCD, taste-symmetry breaking causes a proliferation of multihadron states that complicates the analysis of these channels. Of special interest is the bubble contribution, which makes a considerable contribution to these channels. Using numerical simulation we have measured the correlators for both a0 and f0 channels in the “Asqtad” improved staggered fermion formulation in a MILC fine (a=0.09 fm) lattice ensemble. We analyze those correlators using rooted staggered chiral perturbation theory (rSχPT) and achieve chiral couplings that are well consistent with previous determinations.  相似文献

A program of experiments using meson photoproduction off the nucleon is being carried out to improve this situation. A new large acceptance recoil polarimeter has been developed by the Edinburgh group for use in such reactions with the Crystal Ball at MAMI. This work summarizes the procedure used to measure recoil polarization with the new device and presents some preliminary results for the double polarization observable C_x in the reaction γp→pπ~0, compared to the current partial wave analysis.  相似文献

We study the \begin{document}$ B_{c,u,d}\to X(3872)P $\end{document} decays in the perturbative QCD (PQCD) approach, involving the puzzling resonance \begin{document}$ X(3872) $\end{document}, where P represents a light pseudoscalar meson (K or π). Assuming \begin{document}$ X(3872) $\end{document} to be a \begin{document}$ 1^{++} $\end{document} charmonium state, we obtain the following results. (a) The branching ratios of the \begin{document}$ B^+_c\to X(3872)\pi^+ $\end{document} and \begin{document}$ B^+_c\to X(3872) K^+ $\end{document} decays are consistent with the results predicted by the covariant light-front approach within errors; however, they are larger than those given by the generalized factorization approach. (b) The branching ratio of the \begin{document}$ B^+\to X(3872)K^+ $\end{document} decay is predicted as \begin{document}$ (3.8^{+1.1}_{-1.0})\times10^{-4} $\end{document}, which is smaller than the previous PQCD calculation result but still slightly larger than the upper limits set by Belle and BaBar. Hence, we suggest that the\begin{document}$ B^{0,+}\to X(3872)K^{0,+} $\end{document} decays should be precisely measured by the LHCb and Belle II experiments to help probe the inner structure of \begin{document}$ X(3872) $\end{document}. (c) Compared with the \begin{document}$ B_{u,d}\to X(3872)K $\end{document}decays, the \begin{document}$ B_{u,d}\to X(3872)\pi $\end{document} decays have significantly smaller branching ratios, which drop to values as low as \begin{document}$ 10^{-6} $\end{document}. (d) The direct CP violations of these considered decays are small (\begin{document}$ 10^{-3}\sim 10^{-2} $\end{document}) because the penguin contributions are loop suppressed compared to the tree contributions. The mixing-induced CP violation of the \begin{document}$ B\to X(3872)K^0_S $\end{document} decay is highly consistent with the current world average value \begin{document}$ \sin2\beta=(69.9\pm1.7)$\end{document}%. Experimentally testing the results for the branching ratios and CP violations, including the implicit \begin{document}$S U(3)$\end{document} and isospin symmetries of these decays, helps probe the nature of \begin{document}$ X(3872) $\end{document}.  相似文献
