In this paper, we investigate the problem for finding the set of solutions for equilibrium problems, the set of solutions of the variational inequalities for k-Lipschitz continuous mappings and fixed point problems for nonexpansive mappings in a Hilbert space. We introduce a new viscosity extragradient approximation method which is based on the so-called viscosity approximation method and extragradient method. We show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under some parameters controlling conditions. Finally, we utilize our results to study some convergence problems for finding the zeros of maximal monotone operators. Our results are generalization and extension of the results of Kumam [P. Kumam, Strong convergence theorems by an extragradient method for solving variational inequalities and equilibrium problems in a Hilbert space, Turk. J. Math. 33 (2009) 85–98], Wangkeeree [R. Wangkeeree, An extragradient approximation method for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings, Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2008, Article ID 134148, 17 pages, doi:10.1155/2008/134148], Yao et al. Viscosity approximation methods for nonexpansive mappings are studied. Consider the iteration process {xn}, where x0C is arbitrary and xn+1=αnf(xn)+(1−αn)SPC(xnλnAxn), f is a contraction on C, S is a nonexpansive self-mapping of a closed convex subset C of a Hilbert space H. It is shown that {xn} converges strongly to a common element of the set of fixed points of nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse strongly-monotone mapping which solves some variational inequality.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new three-step iterative scheme for finding the common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality using the technique of updating the solution. We show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of two sets under some control conditions. Results proved in this paper may be viewed as an improvement and refinement of the recent results of Noor and Huang [M. Aslam Noor, Z. Huang, Three-step methods for nonexpansive mappings and variational inequalities, Appl. Math. Comput., in press] and Yao and Yao [Y. Yao, J.C. Yao, On modified iterative method for nonexpansive mappings and monotone mappings, Appl. Math. Comput., in press].  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of finding a common element of the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem (for short, GEP) and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in the setting of Hilbert spaces. By using well-known Fan-KKM lemma, we derive the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the auxiliary problem for GEP. On account of this result and Nadler’s theorem, we propose an iterative scheme by the viscosity approximation method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of GEP and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping. Furthermore, it is proven that the sequences generated by this iterative scheme converge strongly to a common element of the set of solutions of GEP and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to present an iterative scheme by a hybrid method for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping, the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for α-inverse-strongly monotone mappings in the framework of a Hilbert space. We show that the iterative sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under appropriate conditions. Additionally, the idea of our results are applied to find a zero of a maximal monotone operator and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a real Hilbert space.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study an iterative scheme by a hybrid method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem, the set of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse-strongly-monotone mapping in a real Hilbert space. Then, we prove that the iterative sequence converges strongly to a common element of the three sets. Using this result, we consider the problem of finding a common fixed point of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping and the problem of finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of zeros of an inverse-strongly monotone mapping. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve the several recent results in this area.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative process for finding the common element of the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for an αα-inverse-strongly-monotone mapping. We obtain a weak convergence theorem for a sequence generated by this process. Moreover, we apply our result to the problem for finding a common element of the set of equilibrium problems and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem of a monotone mapping.  相似文献

Nakajo and Takahashi [K. Nakajo, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372–379] proved strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings, nonexpansive semigroups and the proximal point algorithm for zero-point of monotone operators in Hilbert spaces by the CQ iteration method. The purpose of this paper is to modify the CQ iteration method of K. Nakajo and W. Takahashi using the monotone CQ method, and to prove strong convergence theorems. In the proof process of this article, the Cauchy sequence method is used, so we proceed without use of the demiclosedness principle and Opial’s condition, and other weak topological techniques.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme by the viscosity approximation method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. Then, we prove a strong convergence theorem which is connected with Combettes and Hirstoaga's result [P.L. Combettes, S.A. Hirstoaga, Equilibrium programming in Hilbert spaces, J. Nonlinear Convex Anal. 6 (2005) 117-136] and Wittmann's result [R. Wittmann, Approximation of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings, Arch. Math. 58 (1992) 486-491]. Using this result, we obtain two corollaries which improve and extend their results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme based on the extragradient approximation method for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem, and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone L-Lipschitz continuous mapping in a real Hilbert space. Then, the strong convergence theorem is proved under some parameters controlling conditions. Applications to optimization problems are given. In this paper, we introduce an iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem, the set of fixed points of an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of a general system of variational inequalities for a cocoercive mapping in a real Hilbert space. The purpose of this paper is to introduce and construct the implicit and explicit viscosity iterative processes by a generalized contraction mapping f and a nonexpansive semigroup {T(t):t0}, and to prove that under suitable conditions these iterative processes converge strongly to a unique common fixed point of {T(t):t0} in reflexive Banach spaces which admits a weakly sequentially continuous duality mapping.  相似文献

We introduce iterative algorithms for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a system of equilibrium problems and of the set of fixed points of a finite family and a left amenable semigroup of nonexpansive mappings in a Hilbert space. We prove the strong convergence of the proposed iterative algorithm to the unique solution of a variational inequality, which is the optimality condition for a minimization problem. Our results extend, for example, the recent result of [V. Colao, G. Marino, H.K. Xu, An Iterative Method for finding common solutions of equilibrium and fixed point problems, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 344 (2008) 340–352] to systems of equilibrium problems.  相似文献
