The dependence of the superconducting (Meissner) phase volume V m on the YBa2Cu3O6+δ doping level was studied. It was found that V m monotonically decreases as the doping level is lowered and vanishes at the same value of δ ~ 0.3 as Tc does. It was concluded that the Tc decrease and the increase in the pseudogap formation temperature T* as the doping level is lowered are caused by a decrease in the average size of superconducting clusters. This conclusion suggests an extraordinary superconductivity mechanism in HTSC.  相似文献

An HTSC model, in which the interaction of valence-band electrons with diatomic negative U centers is assumed to be responsible for the anomalous properties of HTSC compounds, is proposed and used to explain the nature of the pseudogap and pseudogap anomalies (including the giant Nernst effect, the anomalous diamagnetism above T c, the “transfer” of the optical spectral weight). For YBa2Cu3O6 + δ, the pseudogap opening temperature T* and T c are calculated as functions of the degree of doping δ. The calculated dependences agree quantitatively with the experimental dependences without using scale fitting parameters. The good agreement between the calculated and experimental results can serve as an argument for the proposed HTSC model.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of magnetization higher harmonics were studied experimentally in single-domain YBa2Cu3O7?x samples above T c . YBa2Cu3O7?x magnetization nonlinearity was found in different samples up to temperatures T = 103–112 K, which is much higher than the temperature of transition into the superconducting state of the given compound. The observed specific feature of YBa2Cu3O7?x magnetization is associated with the occurrence of pseudogap state in this compound.  相似文献

Static magnetic susceptibility χ(T) in the normal state (Tc ≤ T ≤ 400 K) and specific heat C(T) near temperature Tc of the transition to the superconducting state are experimentally studied for a series of fine crystalline samples of high-temperature YBa2Cu3Oy superconductor, having y and Tc close to optimal but differing in the degree of nanoscale structural disordering. It is shown that under the influence of structural disordering, there is enhancement of anomalous pseudogap behavior of the studied characteristics and a significant increase in the width of the pseudogap.  相似文献

The magnetization M(H) in the superconducting state, dc magnetic susceptibility χ(T) in the normal state, and specific heat C(T) near the superconducting transition temperature T c have been measured for a series of fine-crystalline YBa2Cu3O y samples having nearly optimum values of y = 6.93 ± 0.3 and T c = (91.5 ± 0.5) K. The samples differ only in the degree of nanoscale structural inhomogeneity. The characteristic parameters of superconductors (the London penetration depth and the Ginzburg–Landau parameter) and the thermodynamic critical field H c are determined by the analysis of the magnetization curves M(H). It is found that the increase in the degree of nanoscale structural inhomogeneity leads to an increase in the characteristic parameters of superconductors and a decrease in H c(T) and the jump of the specific heat ΔC/T c. It is shown that the changes in the physical characteristics are caused by the suppression of the density of states near the Fermi level. The pseudogap is estimated by analyzing χ(T). It is found that the nanoscale structural inhomogeneity significantly enhances and probably even creates the pseudogap regime in the optimally doped high-T c superconductors.  相似文献

Magnetization M(H,T) in magnetic fields H up to 90 kOe and at temperatures 2 K ≤ T < T c (where Tc is the superconducting transition temperature), along with magnetic susceptibility χ(T) in the normal state T c < T < 400 K for optimally oxygen-doped samples of YBa2Cu3O6.92 with varying degrees of defects in the crystal structure, are studied to determine the influence of structural inhomogeneity on the electron systems characteristics of cuprate superconductors. It is shown that the existence of structural inhomogeneity of samples leads to the manifestation of peculiarities appropriate to pseudogap regime in their properties.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the third and other higher magnetization harmonics for YBa2Cu3O7 ? x textured polycrystals are experimentally investigated in the temperature range 77–120 K. It is revealed that the magnetization of the YBa2Cu3O7 ? x textured polycrystals exhibits a nonlinear behavior up to temperatures considerably higher than the superconducting transition temperature. The observed nonlinearity of the magnetization of the YBa2Cu3O7 ? x textured polycrystals is attributed to the pseudogap state that appears for this compound at a temperature T ~ 102 K.  相似文献

Temperature dependences of the resistivity ρ(T) of samples of granular high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7 – δ are measured at various transverse external magnetic fields at 0 < H ext < 1900 Оe in the temperature range from the upper Josephson critical temperature of “weak bonds” T c2J to temperatures slightly exceeding the superconducting transition temperature T c . Based on the data obtained, the behavior of the field dependences of the critical temperatures of superconducting grains and “weak bonds,” and temperature and field dependences of the magnetic contribution to the resistivity \(\left[ {\Delta \rho \left( {T,H} \right) = \rho {{\left( T \right)}_{{H_{ext}} = const}} - \rho {{\left( T \right)}_{{H_{ext}} = 0}}} \right]\). It is shown that the behavior of the magnetic contribution to the resistivity Δρ along the line of the phase transition related to the onset of the magnetic field penetration in the form of Abrikosov vortices into the subsystem of superconducting grains T c1g (H ext) is anomalous. The concepts on the magnetic flux redistribution between both subsystems of two-level HTSC near in the vicinity of T c1g : the Josephson vortex decreases, and the Abrikosov vortex density increases.  相似文献

The upper boundary of the pseudogap state has been derived as a function of the doping within the impurity mechanism of high-T c superconductivity under the assumption that, in the region bordering the superconducting phase on the side of the doping less than the optimum level (the pseudogap region), there exist finite superconducting clusters and the boundary of the superconducting phase corresponds to the threshold of the existence of an infinite superconducting cluster. The position of this boundary is in agreement with experiment. The condition imposed on the doping level at which the giant proximity effect should be observed has been derived. It means essentially that the thickness of the nonsuperconducting layer should be small compared to the average size of the superconducting clusters.  相似文献

The penetration of a magnetic field into superconducting grains and weak links of YBa2Cu3O7?δ ceramic high-temperature superconductors is investigated using measurements of the transverse and longitudinal magnetoresistances at T=77.3 K and 0≤H≤~500 Oe as a function of the transport current in the range ~0.01≤I/I c ≤~0.99. The effects associated with the complete penetration of Josephson vortices into weak links of the high-temperature superconductor in magnetic fields Hc2J, the onset of penetration of Abrikosov vortices into superconducting grains in magnetic fields Hc1A, and the first-order transition from the Bragg glass phase to the vortex glass phase in fields HBG-VG are revealed and interpreted. The I-H phase diagrams YBa2Cu3O7?δ high-temperature superconductors are constructed for IH and IH.  相似文献

It has been shown that the strong coupling model taking into account a rise in the spin antiferromagnetic insulating state explains the doping dependence of the topology and shape of the Fermi contour of superconducting cuprates. Hole pockets with shadow bands in the second Brillouin zone form the Fermi contour with perfect ordinary and mirror nesting, which ensures the coexistence of orbital antiferromagnetism and superconductivity with a large pair momentum for T < TC. The weak pseudogap region (T* < T < T*) corresponds to the orbital antiferromagnetic ordering, which coexists with the incoherent state of superconducting pairs with large momenta in the strong pseudogap region (TC < T < T*).  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the specific heat C(T) and thermal conductivity K(T) of MgB2 were measured at low temperatures and in the neighborhood of T c . In addition to the well-known superconducting transition at T c ≈40 K, this compound was found to exhibit anomalous behavior of both the specific heat and thermal conductivity at lower temperatures, T≈10–12 K. Note that the anomalous behavior of C(T) and K(T) is observed in the same temperature region where MgB2 was found to undergo negative thermal expansion. All the observed low-temperature anomalies are assigned to the existence in MgB2 of a second group of carriers and its transition to the superconducting state at Tc2≈10?12 K.  相似文献

Experiments on the irradiation-induced suppression of the critical temperature in high-T c superconductors are analyzed within the mean-field Abrikosov-Gor’kov-like approach. It is shown that the experimental data for YBa2Cu3O7-δ single crystals can be quantitatively explained by the pair-breaking effects under the assumption of the combined effect of potential and spin-flip scattering on the critical temperature and with an accounting for a nonpure d-wave superconducting order parameter.  相似文献

The concentration dependence of the transition temperature to the superconducting phase is calculated within the tt' – t" – J* model, which takes into account tree-site interactions. It is shown that the processes of scattering by spin fluctuations qualitatively change the character of the concentration dependences T c (n). These scattering processes in the normal phase significantly modify the distribution function of Hubbard fermions, determining the pronounced non-Fermi-liquid behavior of the system.  相似文献

The results of synthesizing a new layered phase—nickel oxybismuthide LaO1?δNiBi in a series of superconducting oxypnictides—and its properties in the superconducting and normal states are reported. Although the temperature of the transition of this phase to the superconducting state, T c ~ 4 K, is much lower than the value T c = 55 K reached at present in oxyarsenide SmO1?δFeAs, the similarity of the crystal structures and ρ(T) dependencies indicates that the mechanism responsible for the appearance of the semiconducting state is the same in lanthane oxybismuthide and samarium oxyarsenide.  相似文献

A simple, exactly solvable model of a pseudogap state induced by fluctuations of dielectric short-range order is used to study the peculiarities of the electronic spectral density and density of states of a superconductor in the model of the Fermi surface with hot patches. The problem is considered for arbitrary values of the short-range order correlation length ξcorr. It is shown that the absence of self-averaging of the superconducting order parameter over the random field of dielectric fluctuations causes the spectral density and density of states to change significantly. The superconducting character of these quantities persists in a wide temperature range above the temperature T c of the superconducting transition, which is uniform over the whole sample.  相似文献

A new approach is proposed for calculating the Debye temperature of a nanocrystal in the form of an n-dimensional rectangular parallelepiped with an arbitrary microstructure and the number of atoms N ranging from 2n to infinity. The geometric shape of the system is determined by the lateral-to-basal edge ratio of the parallelepiped. The size dependences of the Debye and melting temperatures for a number of materials are calculated using the derived relationship. The theoretical curves thus obtained agree well with the experimental data. The calculated dependences of the superconducting transition temperature T c on the size d of aluminum, indium, and lead nanocrystals are also in reasonable agreement with the experimental estimates of T c (d). It is demonstrated that, as the nanocrystal size d decreases, the greater the deviation of the nanocrystal shape from an equilibrium shape (in our case, a cube), the higher the temperature of the superconducting transition T c (d). The superconducting transition temperature is calculated as a function of the thickness (diameter) of a plate (rod) with an arbitrary length. It is found that a decrease in the thickness (diameter) of the plate (rod) leads to an increase in the temperature T c (z): the looser the microstructure of the metallic nanocrystal, the higher the temperature T c (z).  相似文献

Bulk nanocomposites based on superconducting metals Pb and In embedded into matrices of natural chrysotile asbestos with the nanotube internal diameter d ~ 6 nm have been fabricated and studied. The low-temperature electrical and magnetic properties of the nanocomposites demonstrate the superconducting transition with the transition critical temperature Tc ≈ (7.18 ± 0.02) K for the Pb–asbestos nanocomposite (this temperature is close to Tc bulk = 7.196 K for bulk Pb). The electrical measurements show that In nanofilaments in asbestos have Tc ~ 3.5–3.6 K that is higher than Tc bulk = 3.41 K for bulk In. It is shown that the temperature smearing of the superconducting transition in the temperature dependences of the resistance R(T) ΔT ≈ 0.06 K for the Pb–asbestos and ΔT ≈ 1.8 K for the In–asbestos are adequately described by the fluctuation Aslamazov–Larkin and Langer–Ambegaokar theories. The resistive measurements show that the critical magnetic fields of the nanofilaments extrapolated to T = 0 K are Hc(0) ~ 47 kOe for Pb in asbestos and Hc(0) ~ 1.5 kOe for In in asbestos; these values are significantly higher than the values for the bulk materials (H\(H_{\rm{c}}^{\rm{bulk}}\) = 803 Oe for Pb and \(H_{\rm{c}}^{\rm{bulk}}\) = 285 Oe for In). The results of the electrical measurements for Pb?asbestos and In–asbestos agree with the data for the magnetic-field dependences of the magnetic moment in these nanocomposites.  相似文献

We have analyzed the temperature and magnetic-field dependences of resistivity ρ(T, H) of semiconducting compound Pb0.45Sn0.55Te doped with 5 at % In under a hydrostatic compression at P < 12 kbar. It is found that the temperature dependence ρ(T) at all pressures at T < 100 K is exponential with the activation energy decreasing upon an increase in pressure; this is accompanied with a superconducting transition on the ρ(T) and ρ(H) dependences at P > 4.8 kbar at T > 1 K (T c = 1.72 K at a level of 0.5ρ N at P = 6.8 kbar). We consider the model describing the low-temperature “dielectrization” of the semiconducting solid solution and the formation of the superconducting state upon an increase in the hydrostatic compression P > 4 kbar.  相似文献

The effect of ion irradiation on the superconducting transition temperatureT c and resistivityρ ab (T) of YBa2Cu3O7-x films with different oxygen content (initial temperatureT c0≈90 K and 60 K) is studied experimentally. The dependenciesT c /T c0 on residual resistivityρ o are obtained in very wide range 0.2<T c /T c0 <1 andρ o μΩ·cm. The critical values ofρ o , corresponding to the vanishing of superconductivity, are found to be an order of magnitude larger then those predicted by theory ford-wave pairing. At 0.5÷0.6<T c /T c0<1 the experimental data are in close agreement with theoretical dependencies, obtained for the anisotropics-wave superconductor within the BCS-framework.  相似文献
