In this paper, using optimization methods on Riemannian submanifolds, we establish two improved inequalities for generalized normalized δ-Casorati curvatures of Lagrangian submanifolds in complex space forms. We provide examples showing that these inequalities are the best possible and classify all Casorati ideal Lagrangian submanifolds (in the sense of B.-Y. Chen) in a complex space form. In particular, we generalize the recent results obtained in G.E. Vîlcu (2018) [34].  相似文献

Let C be a closed convex set in a complete simply connected Riemannian manifold M with sectional curvature bounded above by a positive constant K. Assume that Σ is a compact minimal surface outside C such that Σ is orthogonal to ?C along ?Σ∩?C and ?Σ ~ ?C is radially connected from a point p ∈ ?Σ∩?C. We introduce a modified volume Mp(Σ) of Σ and obtain a sharp isoperimetric inequality where equality holds if and only if Σ is a geodesic half disk with constant Gaussian curvature K. We also prove higher dimensional isoperimetric inequalities for minimal submanifolds outside a closed convex set in a Riemannian manifold using the modified volume.  相似文献

Let E be a Banach lattice and L1(μ, E) be the space of E-valued Bochner integrable functions. Some order properties of L1(μ, E) are given. It is shown that Ls(μ, Z(E)) is the ideal centre of L1(μ, E) and it is obtained a Radon-Nikodym type theorem for B -integrable functions.   相似文献

Roughly speaking, an ideal immersion of a Riemannian manifold into a space form is an isometric immersion which produces the least possible amount of tension from the ambient space at each point of the submanifold. Abstract

For a canonical threefold X, we know that h 0(X, 𝒪 X (nK X )) ≥ 1 for a sufficiently large n. When χ(𝒪 X ) > 0, it is not easy to get such an integer n. Fletcher showed that h 0(X, 𝒪 X (12K X )) ≥ 1 and h 0(X, 𝒪 X (24K X )) ≥ 2 when χ(𝒪 X ) = 1. He inquired about existence of a canonical threefold with given conditions which shows the result sharp. We show that such an example does not exist. Using a different technique, we prove h 0(X, 𝒪 X (12K X )) ≥ 2.  相似文献

It is proved that if M^n is an n-dimensional complete submanifold with parallel mean curvature vector and flat normal bundle in S^n+p(1), and if supM S 〈 α(n, H), where α(n,H)=n+n^3/2(n-1)H^2-n(n-2)/n(n-1)√n^2H^4+4(n-1)H^2,then M^n must be the totally urnbilical sphere S^n(1/√1+H^2).An example to show that the pinching constant α(n, H) appears optimal is given.  相似文献

Given a closed connected manifold smoothly immersed in a complete noncompact Riemannian manifold with nonnegative sectional curvature, we estimate the intrinsic diameter of the submanifold in terms of its mean curvature field integral. On the other hand, for a compact convex surface with boundary smoothly immersed in a complete noncompact Riemannian manifold with nonnegative sectional curvature, we can estimate its intrinsic diameter in terms of its mean curvature field integral and the length of its boundary. In this paper, we introduce and study families of squarefree monomial ideals called clique ideals and independence ideals that can be associated to a finite graph. A family of clique ideals with linear resolutions has been characterized. Moreover, some families of graphs for which the quotient ring of their clique ideal is Cohen–Macaulay are introduced and some homological invariants of the clique ideal of a graph G, which is the complement of a path graph or a cycle graph, are obtained. Also some algebraic properties of the independence ideal of path graphs, cycle graphs and chordal graphs are studied.  相似文献

We present a method for investigating the cyclicity of an elementary focus or center of a polynomial system of differential equations by means of complexification of the system and application of algorithms of computational algebra, showing an approach to treating the case that the Bautin ideal B of focus quantities is not a radical ideal (more precisely, when the ideal BK is not radical, where BK is the ideal generated by the shortest initial string of focus quantities that, like the Bautin ideal, determines the center variety).
