In this paper, we give some sufficient conditions for products of two supersolvable sub-groups to be supersolvable groups. Our results generalize some known results.Theorem 1 Let G = HK,(|H|,|K|) = 1, Where H and K are two supersolvable sub-groups. If H is commutative with every maximal subgroup of K, and K is commutative with every maximal subgroup of H, then G is supersolvable.Theorem 2 Let G = HK, H ∩ K = 1, H G, and K be quasinormal in H. If H, K are supersolvable, the G is supersolvable.Theorem 3 Let G= HK,(|H|,|K|) = 1,H,K be two supersolvable subgroups. If H is commutative with any Sylow subgroup of K and any maximal subgroup of every sylow subgroup of K, and K is commutative with any sylow subgroup of H and any maximal subgroup of every sylow subgroup of H, then G is supersolvable. Theorem 4 If H,K are two supersolvable subgroups of G, G= HK, G′is nilpotent, H is quasi normal K, and K is quasi normal in H,then G is supersolvable. Theorem 5 If H,K are two supersolvable subgroups of G, G= HK, H′? G,[H,K]? G,[H,K] is nilpotent, H is quasi normal in K, and K is quasi normal in H,then G is supersolvable.  相似文献

Abstract

We study the problem concerning the influence of the index of maximal subgroup or the degree of primitive permutation representation of the finite simple groups on the structure of a group. Let G be a finite group and s be the index of maximal subgroup of the Monster M. In this paper, we prove that there exists an epimorphism from G to M or A s if G has the primitive permutation representation of degree s, and as a consequence we prove that the Monster is determined by every s.  相似文献

有限群G的一个子群称为在G中是π-拟正规的若它与G的每一个Sylow-子群是交换的.G的一个子群H称为在G中是c-可补的若存在G的子群N使得G=HN且H∩N≤HG=CoreG(H).本文证明了:设F是一个包含超可解群系u的饱和群系,G有一个正规子群H使得G/H∈F.则G∈F若下列之一成立:(1)H的每个Sylow子群的所有极大子群在G中或者是π-拟正规的或者是c-可补的;(2)F*(H)的每个Sylow子群的所有极大子群在G中或者是π-拟正规的或者是c-可补的,其中F*(H)是H的广义Fitting子群.此结论统一了一些最近的结果.  相似文献

For a finite group G, let T(G) denote a set of primes such that a prime p belongs to T(G) if and only if p is a divisor of the index of some maximal subgroup of G. It is proved that if G satisfies any one of the following conditions: (1) G has a p-complement for each p∈T(G); (2)│T(G)│= 2: (3) the normalizer of a Sylow p-subgroup of G has prime power index for each odd prime p∈T(G); then G either is solvable or G/Sol(G)≌PSL(2, 7) where Sol(G) is the largest solvable normal subgroup of G.  相似文献

We look at the structure of a soluble group G depending on the value of a function m(G)= max m p G), where m p(G)=max{logp|G:M| | M< G, |G:M|=p a}, p (G). Theorem 1 states that for a soluble group G, (1) r(G/ (G))= m(G); (2) d(G/ (G)) 1+ (m(G)) 3+m(G); (3) l p(G) 1+t, where 2t-1<m p(G) 2t. Here, (G) is the Frattini subgroup of G, and r(G), d(G), and l p(G) are, respectively, the principal rank, the derived length, and the p-length of G. The maximum of derived lengths of completely reducible soluble subgroups of a general linear group GL(n,F) of degree n, where F is a field, is denoted by (n). The function m(G) allows us to establish the existence of a new class of conjugate subgroups in soluble groups. Namely, Theorem 2 maintains that for any natural k, every soluble group G contains a subgroup K possessing the following properties: (1) m(K); k; (2) if T and H are subgroups of G such that K T <max <max H G then |H:T|=p t for some prime p and for t>k. Moreover, every two subgroups of G enjoying (1) and (2) are mutually conjugate.  相似文献
